I thought it is the educated who believe in God while the less educated look at science to disprove God. Einstein was a great scientist and he was a christian. How about that ? Is he ‘uneducated’? Einstein believed in Jesus Christ & theGod of the bible and his scientific success was based on bible facts. Einstein took those facts and used science to prove it, changing our lives permanently for the better.

Had you done your homework you would know that when JZ Knight goes into her trance and Ramtha takes over her body, her body rapidly goes through changes that are not humanly possible and the body physically dies. She had been hooked up to equipment on several occasions, because the results of each test were beyond belief, and she made followers of many of the scientists that performed the tests, as they started out wanting to discredit her.

Do you know the "only" test that would prove this [that the soul has a weight] wrong? Take a animal, which has no soul, and do the same test. If it loses weight upon death, then it is physical. If it don't, then the other test proves there is a soul. I don't know of any scientist brave enough to make such a bold quest for actual truth. Because this test has been out there for how long? And no one, that wants to disprove this, is not smart enough to figure out that a soul-less life test would bring no doubt?

I actually think the test has already been done. But the atheist did not like the out come. So it was never revealed. There is a difference between wanted actual truth, and justification for what one wants to believe.

Carbon-14 dating of fossils is based on the amount of C-14 found in that fossil, the more C-14 found in a fossil, the younger it is supposed to be; if very little C-14 is found, then it is supposed to be very old. It's as simple as that. The problem is, however, it is ASSUMED by Carbon-14 daters that the C-12/C-14 ratio in the atmosphere reached a steady state millions of years ago; in other words they ASSUME the amount of C-14 being produced in the atmosphere has been the same as the amount of C-14 decaying or leaving the atmosphere for millions of years, therefore the amount of C-14 in the atmosphere is ASSUMED to have been a constant amount for millions of years.

Unfortunately, for evolutionary-minded people, there is not one shred of EVIDENCE to support that ASSUMPTION; the only way to prove that the C-12/C-14 ratio has been the same for millions of years as it is today is to test something living today that is known to be millions of years old [such as a tree with a million tree rings], but we know there's nothing living today even remotely approaching such ages.

Evolutionary scientists have calculated that it would take 30, 000 years from the beginning of the earth to reach a steady state or constant amount of C-14 in the atmosphere. Measurements taken recently by nuclear chemists Fairhall and Young suggest that the amount of C-14 being produced in the atmosphere is as much as 50 per cent out of balance. By these measurements we would have to conclude according to evolutionists' very own calculations that the earth is much less than 30, 000 years old since the C-14 in the atmosphere has not yet built up to that steady state.


Perhaps, these are just a few of the reasons that the late Stephen Jay Gould, for many years America's foremost evolutionist, always refused to debate any creation scientists.

[It's warmer than it's been since we began recording temperatures. We know this because the polar caps are rapidly melting, for example.

Is it a natural, cyclical event? Who knows! But I'm not going to deny global warming exists just because the liberals are capitalizing on it, or just because Rush Limbaugh says it ain't so. Believe it or not, scientists are occasionally right.

Global warming fits perfectly with many of the birth pangs described in the Bible, and also with the Bible's description of men "cursing the sun" and being "scorched by the sun's heat" in the Scriptures. Also with prophecies such as Luke 21, in which we're warned of men being perplexed by the "roaring and tossing of the waves". (Probably hurricanes, also caused by the warming) Then there are the famines described in the Bible, and other plagues which would go hand-in-hand with a climatic change.

Maybe they are cyclical changes! Who cares? It's still "global warming", even if it's not caused by man-made pollutants. The Bible plainly tells us that it will heat up, and that there will be major climatic changes. So why is it so easy for some to believe that we're seeing the beginning of the "wars and rumors of wars", pestilences, earthquakes, persecution against Christians, et cetera, yet so difficult to believe that the climate's changing? It's all a foreshadowing of what's to come.]

Did you know that the Bible has often been many steps ahead of science?
Leviticus 17:11: “For the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you ... It is the blood, given in exchange for a life that makes purification possible.” For centuries after these words were written, scientists were bleeding the sick with leeches.

Job 28: 24, 25: “For he looked to the ends of the earth, and saw under the whole heaven, to make the weight for the winds; and he weighed the waters by measure.” Long after these words were written, scientists maintained that air is weightless. Eventually they caught up to the Bible and realized that air has weight.

Job 38: 19, 20: “Where does light come from, and where does darkness go? Can you take each to its home?” When God asked these questions of Job, he was showing him that light travels. It would take scientists many years to figure that out.

Isaiah 40:22 says, “God sits above the circle of the earth." For centuries after Isaiah, scientists thought it was flat.

The theory of dinosaurs came along in the mid 1800's just before the time Darwin begain imagining the ape scenario. A young scientist envisioned an enormous creature in his mind and set about trying to find it. He was met with much skepticism and no real evidence until he found something that looked like a skull but he wasn't sure. So he set about trying to create a creature from that skull, all the while, his wife believing he was insane, which of course, he was, thus re-inforcing the phrase "mad scientist."

So after many years of gathering different bones, the dinosaur was created. Never mind that there's absolutely no way to know if those bones came from one animal or several animals. All that mattered was creating a fictitious monster out of any bones that were found and passing it aong as the truth so he can get his name in science books. Scientists even admit that some of the skeletons were "missing" so they added other bones from other animals to complete their design. This is not science. It's called; artwork. And it's very creative artwork at that! Some of those creatures are hilarious and any design is possible because there were no witnesses! But unfortunately, it's no different than kids finding sticks in the woods and creating anything they want from them. And most people see that as children's imaginations (which it is), but if those children had letters after their names, then people would claim they were "brilliant, just brilliant." And this is all palentologists do.

Then they assign each creature a name ( and the longer the better to show how intelligent they are but they more accurately describe the size of their egos than any real living creature) and decide which ones were herbivores, carnivores, or omnivores. So how can they know what these animals ate? :confused: The answer is that they can't know. They have simply made it up. And all they have to do is use the letters after their names and they can pass anything along as the truth. :)

So these fictitious beasts are in every science book in elementary school and passed along as facts instead of artwork. And people have been so brainwashed to believe them as facts, they can't see the forest through the trees that there's no way to prove them whatsoever. The various bones have all been positioned and glued together to depict the imagination fo the artist. There's no way to tell if these bones were all from the same animal or one animal. Even today, scientists have to extract DNA to see if the bones they find from a dead body all belong to the same person! So the one thing scientists have that is undeniable and that is an imagination. But it's hardly science. Palentologists would make more money working for Steven Spielberg than spending their times on hot deserts. ;)

Evolution is a religion because it's based on two concepts that require blind FAITH. The first is random mutations. The second is natural selection. Neither one of these things can be seen, tested or proven.....

Well actually NS could be proven by controlled experiments, however scientists appear to be too chicken to try such a thing. (just like they're too chicken to experiment by moving animals to different locations in the world to see what would happen to their phenotypes.) In fact, as far as I know, not ONE such experiment on natural selection has been tried. Of course I could be wrong about this, but if I am, I'd love to the see the link.

The fact is, your theory is based on sheer speculation and a desire to not be created. What you believe in is not science, it's Sesame Street-style make-believe. It's a fairytale for grownups who seek to deny the obvious. There is not one shred of hard evidence or truth to it. S

The fallacies of gravity

just curious if anyone can explain these errors that many people are aware of when it comes to the theory of gravity

number 1. the way gravity reads, scientists have you think that objects of larger mass would have more of a gravitational pull then objects of smaller mass. so tell me how this makes sense

when we look at the sun we see the earth orbiting the sun, and the moon obriting the earth. if gravity were true, shouldnt our moon be orbiting the sun??? oh better yet, how come a planet way out in the distance such as neptune will orbit the sun, yet its moons will not orbit the sun??? something is wrong here, even at thise immense distances the moons will orbit the planets and not the sun, yet the suns "gravity" is strong enough supposedly to keep the planets in orbit.

number 2. why is it, only planets have orbits?? you could put a space shuttle in outter space and a astronaut will not orbit it. you could put the smallest pebbble into outter space and it will not orbit the space shuttle. why is this???? if gravity were true then surely such small objects would orbit larger ones, especially in space

number 3. on earth we see things that defy "gravity" on a daily basis. birds and airplanes for example. are you going to tell me that the gravity of the sun is strong enough to keep PLUTo in orbit but not an airplane or a little bird??????

number 4. scientists dont know how gravity works. or what it really is, and even then we see anaomolies in space that defy gravity

so my point is that gravity(like other scientifist "tHeories" is very on shaky grounds. it doesnt have the evidnece to back it up, and when examined critically it falls under the pressure(no pun intended )

show me a pebble that orbits a mountain or a bird that orbits the earth and then gravity will make sense. or better yet just show me how gravity works(if it works at all) and then maybe it will be more than just a theory

I could actually name them off:
scientists were baffled due to the FACT that there is a day missing in time- how do they calculate this you say? Well when a satellite, or something orbits the earth- they have precise time on the object. If you know, the Bible mentions God taking a day out of time. They found the ark. hm...yes, very much so physical evidence;in each country they have documents of a "giant flood". Its all there, look it up, and look it up the in Bible.
And Im not saying everyone hasnt looked through the Bible for certain cases, but to back up yalls theory on post modernism, you should read the Bible.
Allan Sandage(was an amazing astronomer), before his death, became a Christian from his research. Many scientists have.
The Bible wasnt something to just have written in a few years like most religions or beliefs.
Others like Sir Issac Newton believed that what they strongly studied had to do with a much greater being, that being God. Theyd acknowledge that Christianity is indeed extremely compatible with science.
Beliefs they had may not be your own, and nor would you even consider actually studying through it, whether you be scared of finding something out, or just getting peeved off, but I highly reccomend researching like many others. Whether you have already, and still do not believe truth; it is the truth.

Well all know that the earth sits at a certian angle on its axis. How could this have been done with the big bang theroy?
Scientist have proven, if the earth was off its axis or not a the PERFECT angle we would burn up due to the suns position.
Proof?

We know that the earth rotates around the sun in a elipse form. (alerbra word)
For elipse to be an elispe it has to have TWO FOCI (man this is making my head hurt) Which makes sense with the gravational pull around the sun. However, what doesn't make since is there is only ONE foci being the sun. Yet the earth still revolves around the sun in elispe form. Explain that one. How can the earth due this with an exact elipse form without another foci?

One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. Carbon 14; ha ha ha. The Carbon Dating Method is itself based on guesswork. O.K., so they test a rock and say it's 4,000 yrs old(give or take 10,000 yrs). Does anyone have any way to dispute that measurement? No, there was nobody alive 4,000 yrs ago who is still alive today. So is there any way to prove the measurement correct? No, there's no way to confirm that anything tested this way is accurate. If it's wrong, who's going to know? When you can go back in time and get proof that the rock was made 4,000 yrs. ago, then you can call it concrete evidence. Other than that 'scientists' are just iterpreting the clues as best they can(or how they want them interpreted). Fossils; remember the Great Flood? I have a theory of my own here. That much water covering the entire Earth in that short of time then receding also very quickly could do the same things to the land as glaciers moving slowly over centuries. In my opinion, no Ice Age. Also, many animals died at that time. Dinosaurs? Maybe. GOD never said that all the animals taken aboard the Ark would make it to our time. They could have gone extinct since then. Job (in the book of Job) writes about seeing something that could be interpreted like a dragon. Sulfur coming out of it's nostrils, very large. He did not say that it was a vision, so it could have been a real animal. The stories and legends have to start from somewhere.

It's common sense. The frog in the pot. If tomorrow our Congress passed a law blessing pedofilia there would be a national outcry... In a few years we're being told it's normal for some people to be attracted to children. Some scientist comes out and says there is a gene that makes people pedofiles. Study after study is whipped out there to convince us. Dateline and 20/20 have specials on the topic of how some people are just attracted to children. Showing 'relationships that have been going on for years' in a positive light. How sad that these people 'fear' going public. Hollywood and various celebrities scolding us for our intolerance and narrow-mindedness. Then you have comedy shows and movies-of-the-week come out. Next thing you know a law is being passed to 'bless' marriage between adults and children. And finally you have a preacher come out and say he's been secretly married to an 8 year old for 2 years. Then the church will be performing marriages between adults and children...All of this sounds ourtrageous? If it slaps us in the face today- morally we violently reject the idea. But little by little, in drips and drabs over time we become conditioned to accept sins. Disturbing but people better wake up.

Because I know what the scientific "evidence" is but I just don't buy it. I believe that if evolution were true and we descended from apes, that is Man came from apes because we evolved from a lower into a higher being, then apes would have slowely died out. And why did all humans evolve in the exact same way? How did all the organs evolve and still work? You see all of the organs are needed to sustain life and if we came from one molecule, that one molecule needed the entire package in order to live. But to me science dosen't prove that molecules could have done that. Why isn't there half ape half man? Why don't some have wings? We could use wings, that would get us places faster and if evolution is true then maybe we would have evolved into that. I know that all seems corny and stupid to you, but its the little questions like that that just make evolution so unbelievable. Hey I didn't inherit Christianity and that was it. I looked at both choices and decided that A created world is much more feasable. That's just what I believe given the evidence. Evolution severly violates the law of non-contradiction. Which makes it an impossibility.
It shouldn't be a huge deal that people believe otherwise but scientists have a hardcore agenda and does not tolerate creationists. Which is silly and wrong, and to me hurts their case even further.
