In my experience, it’s nothing to do with the media. I’ve been the target of incels in real life. Your personalities fucking suck.
One example:
I was in a Japanese film class at university and I and several other students had gotten to class early and were just hanging out. We were all having a great time talking except there was this one guy who wasn’t really interacting. That’s fine, we just let him be. But then all of sudden he interrupts our conversation to scream at me, “I know you hate me you stupid fucking bitch.” We were all shocked to silence and no one said anything else until class started. The guy spent the entire rest of the class, and all subsequent classes periodically turning around to glare at me.
I never hated him before that. In fact, before this I tried to talk to him. His response would always be to act like I wasn’t there, so I just stopped bothering.
@Bastethotep I really doubt it. It’s more GE, etc, that they depend on.
