No one said Christians are the exclusive persecutors of homosexuals, or anyone else. But Christians are the ones who’ve used their churches in Europe and the Americas to get their way, so homosexuals (and others) in Europe and the Americas talking about persecution pretty much mention Christian churches because, well, that’s who’s been around and had the power and opportunity to persecute them. Now, get to talking about homosexuals (and others) being persecuted in northern African, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian countries, Islam becomes a bigger figure in these issues.
But the truth is, all these persecutions really come down to groups with power turning those they use for that power against out groups in order to keep everyone busy fighting each other, so those running the power groups don’t have to worry about us fighting them.
