I certainly don’t buy into most conspiracy theories, Qanon being the biggest recent example of just plan batshit insanity, however, there are a few conspiracy theories that often have some grains of truth in them, this is one of them. Now I’m not completely convinced its’ entirely like what this guy is saying but there are some questionable aspects of the Shadow Inc that raises some eyebrows, that and most Iowans working on the vote-counting have shown the results vs the results of the state party’s and the general lack of faith alot of democrats have in the DNC’s leadership to remain neutral in this. And to the rest of our (as in fellow American users) non-American friends, the American political system, as of the recent few decades, has been chaotic and unstable, I mean, you have two political parties that would be considered a Conservative Party (Democrats) and a Far-Right Party (Republicans) in Europe, and one of those parties in the last decade or so have more or less lost their backbone (Democrats) while the other is stubborn and flatly refuses to work with the other side whatsoever (Republicans). This has been decades in the making of course, as you have various special interest groups, corporate bribery via campaign contrabutions and other money in politics, in fact, a recent princeton study came out in 2015 (a few years ago of course but still) which found that the United States effectively governs like an oligarchy because of how often the wealthy in America gets their preferred policies enacted comparied to how often the average person gets their preferred policies enacted. Its’ this aspect of our political system is why most Americans just doesn’t like Congress whatsoever (for the last two decades or so, Congress approval has been in the low teens, regardless of whos’ in charge, which is makes sense, both parties are not trying to change the current system), and why alot of Americans tend to have very cynical view of politicans (my dad firmly believes that politicans are just out to do things for their benefit, given how often a politican say one thing and does the exact opposite). All of you have to remember, the United States does not have a publically funded healthcare system, nor a publically funded college system, nor a publically funded childcare system, those things we simply don’t have and that’s why people tend to gravitate to Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, people are desperate for any kind of change, because the current political system simply isn’t working for them.

Look, Bernie don’t like Pelosi for her poor track record, under her leadership, the Democrats had lost more seats despite being in the height of Obama’s first term and failed to maintain control of both houses. That’s why most Bernie supporters (and progressives for that matter) don’t like Pelosi, her leadership isn’t great, that and her own neoliberal policies also irritates them to no end

by the way, I, including most other Bernie supporters do voice our disagreements with Bernie on alot of policy positions he supported, largely foreign policy but the concept still applies, we’re not a bunch of Bernie cultists who blindly support him no matter what, we are not like Trump’s cult of personality whatsoever, we just saw how often people from more establishment positions of politics tend to have less then wholesome reasons for their views.

Also, I (and again, most Bernie supporters) are all for resisting trump but we like it if it was more effective resistance, by which we mean resisting Trump via opposing his policies and calling him out on his most monstrous policies, like continue support of Saudi Arabia and their war with Yemen, or his own blatant annulment violations, and so far, Pelosi, and other centrist Democrats, seem to only resist him via his behavior, which we’ve tried that back in 2016 and that evidently didn’t work, so why haven’t she and the rest of the neoliberal branch of the party change their approach in their resistance to Trump. But generally speaking, Bernie supporters/Progressive Democrats simply disagree with them on the approach to resisting Trump, of course, I didn’t expect Trump to be removed from office anyhow, the Republicans control the Senate and the likelihood of that happening is rather nonexistent, at least in what he was impeached for, because again, there was a more likelihood of him being removed from office (not much but still) if it was on something like annulment violations or some other equally blatant violations of the constitution.

But ultimately, both parties want to maintain the political and economic status quo, largely not wishing to change anything, and so far, the people of the United States want some kind of change, it’s’ why Trump got into office (even if he was lying through his teeth the entire time) and it’s’ why Bernie is so wildly liked and making such a big impact in the Democratic primary, the status quo isn’t working for the average American and wants some kind of real change, it will happen, no matter what the status quo defenders does to prevent it, it will occur and there's’ no stopping it.

While the concept of ‘marriage’ is very nebulous and ill-defined, if at all, I mean, although human history the concept of marriage has been changed, morphed and turned into various types and often varies wildly per human group, one group may have the concept of marriage being a polygamist one, where one man has multiple spouses and concubines and regarded as a perfectly moral thing to do (Saudi Arabia often comes to mind, but China has this to some extent… but… it’s complicated, IE the spouse knows that their husband is having an affair but don’t much about it…) while another is more monogamist, where its’ often a frowned upon thing for a married individual to have a mistress or another wife (recently the west is this, but it varies wildly, but generally if your spouse finds out you’re having an affair your marriage is pretty much done then and there), but that’s more recent developments, back then, and now, in some ways, marriage wasn’t something people do to show how much they care for the other but rather to either form alliances (in the cases of nobilities) or to gain wealth/trade (everyone else), where people didn’t have a choice over who they marry, and often times women were concerned the leftovers, the dead ends, because the near entirity of human society and culture is patrilineal, or rather, the general rule is the woman takes her husband’s family name, which is way women were traded around so freely, they’re expected to be absorbed into her husband’s family rather then gaining a new addition for her family (I fully expect the same sort of bullshit to happen if humanity was largely matriarchal and matrilineal, because humanity are a flawed species no matter what gender it is).

But, what this manchild is saying… is utter horseshit… espesially nowadays, most people tend to marry for reasons other than money and looks (again, at least in the west), and the general feeling nowadays is you’re adding people to both families and connecting them in some way, of course, it varies per family but that’s the general feeling I get (I live in the south and that’s the mood I get down here when it comes to marriages and my own observations being raised with divorced and remarried parents)

While I certainly will want to befriend the woman that I plan to spend the rest of my life with (afterall, I’m planning to spend the rest of my life with this person can’t exactly do that if we can’t stand the other), that doesn’t mean that I think platonic relationships between a man or a woman is impossible, espesially if the friendship is started when the kids are two or three as they have a habit of forming sibling-like bonds with the other and flatly disgusted with being romantically involved with the other as in their minds, their male/female best friend is more or less their brother/sister.

That’s just one example, there’s plenty of male-female friendships that never become romantic relationships, but overall Pauly is just wrong here

I watch his shows a good bit and I know for a certainty that there are things I agree with and disagree with Kyle alot, most of which relates to foreign policy in some way; like North Korea, and yeah, I’ve noticed that Kyle tends to upplay the role the US government has in an assortment of events around the world (like claiming that the US more or less overthrew Bolivia’s government regardless of the evidence available (though the US has done similar fuckery in South America in the past, so its’ not out of the question), which can be said of alot of left-leaning outlets in the US for that matter), but at the same time downplaying the role that individual nation may have in the crisis they are involved in, or even flat out claim that the US is at fault in some way (North Korea is where this is shown alot, he claims that the only reason why the North Korean Regime is trying to make a nuke in the first place is due to American aggression, regardless of the fact that a) the tensions in Korea is more or less a cause of a civil war that hasn’t been ended officially yet, b) said civil war is caused by North Korea invading the South, and c) its’ almost entirely North Korea doing something provative, and the Iraq War, which, no, North Korea has been researching nuclear weapons for a good while, longer then the Iraq War actually, and the reason why the regime is doing so in the first place is due to a combination of the Soviet Union collapsing, resulting in a good chunk of their weakened economy to implode, and a massive famine that the state is still trying to recover from to this day, so, the regime decided it’d be a good idea to effectively blackmail the planet into giving them (by ‘them’ I mean the government not the people) aid and once the aid starts to run dry, do it all over again)

I may not like how interventionist our foreign policy is nowadays, but some places I understand why we have a military force there in some form, like NATO countries or fellow allies who are in a region where they have a particularly troublesome neighbor (Japan and South Korea falls into this), I certainly think we should limit them but not get rid of all of them, as some nations did request them in the first place and that alone lets me think that maybe there’s a reason why a particular ally wants our military there in the first place and we’re just there to defend said ally.

Of course, there’s also his habit of using Noam Chomsky for certain things, like his quote about ‘if the Nuremberg trials were maintained to this day, every American president would be hanged’ which… is wrong in alot of levels. First, these trials only relates to the crimes committed by Nazi Germany, there were entirely separate trials for Imperial Japan, two, those laws the Nazi broke are apart of the Geneva Convention, three those trials were largely done by the victors allies against the defeated axis, and there were no trials for the Soviet Union whoms forces more or less ravaged large parts of eastern Europe and flat out mass raped large parts of Poland and Germany, yet they didn’t have any trials, fourth, it’s not just the American breaking those ‘rules’ if one applied it to… well… everyone, I won’t be shocked if VIRTUALLY EVERY WORLD LEADER IS HANGED JUST AS MUCH AS ANY AMERICAN PRESIDENT, basically… it would cause everyone across the world to lose all faith not just in the governments of the planet but also in humanity as it appears that everyone doesn’t give a damn about any sort of international laws, or what have you.
