I do not support the religious beliefs of the Waco cult in any way. They were an offshoot of a Seventh Day Adventist church (a false religion). The Holy Bible says that Christian believers who “TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS” will shine as the brightness of the stars in the universe for ever and ever. The Bible doesn't say anything about professional sports athletes shining. The Bible doesn't say anything about musicians shining. Nor does the Bible say anything about religious leaders shining in eternity. The Bible doesn't say anything about hard-working people with booming businesses shining in eternity. No, rather, only those believers who turn many to the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ will shine. Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

All of the fame, money and success in this temporal world ends at the grave. In this wicked and warped world of sin, sports stars, singing sensations and Hollywood celebrities, losers in Heaven's eyes shine. The wicked world honors them foolishly, but they WON'T shine for five seconds in eternity. Hebrews 11:6 teaches that only by faith can God be pleased. The Communist kooks, adulterous athletes, sensual celebrities, liberal loonies, leftist losers and all the hordes of Hollywood Hell, won't shine for 5-seconds in eternity. When this earthly life is over, all that will matter then is if you died in the Lord (Revelation 14:13) and went to Heaven, or died in your sins (John 8:24) and went to Hell. All Christ-rejecters will spend eternity burning mercilessly in the Lake of Fire, which Revelation 20:6 says burns with fire and brimstone. Revelation 14:11 says, “they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

There is no greater task in the world than witnessing the Gospel to lost sinners. The average person is not saved. In fact, I'd guesstimate worldwide that only .001% (one in every 1,000 people) are born-again!!! There are an estimated 1,600,000,000 (1.6 billion) Muslims in the world who are unsaved Christ-rejecters! There are an estimated 1,000,000,000 unsaved Roman Catholics, who are trusting the sacraments of the Catholic Church to save them. There are another estimated 600,000 Christ-rejecting Buddhists! There's 127,368,088 people living in Japan. Yet, less than 1-in-200 profess Christianity (005%). Most of the world's population are going to Hell, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). You see, the world is always searching for answers (2nd Timothy 3:7, “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”), but Satan has provided many substitutes for the Gospel to blind and deceive people (2nd Corinthians 4:4). Revelation 12:9b, “...that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.” It is our duty as born-again believers to preach to the lost, to show them THE TRUTH of the Gospel which Satan has kept from them.

It was an ugly divorce, by my wife's choosing. When she left me in March of 2006, I had a forgiving spirit from the very beginning, starting my Soulwinning.info website in May of 2006 to “overcome evil with good” as the Bible says (Romans 12:21). U.S. sheriffs brought a divorce summons to my workplace in June of 2006. It came as a total surprise shock to me, like getting hit by a Mack truck. I wept uncontrollably for 3 hours. Once she signed the divorce papers, her ungodly attorney went to town destroying my life. I lost my paid home as a result of the divorce. I have been renting an apartment since I lost my home. My ongoing legal expenses reached $64,000, all coming out of my home. It didn't cost my x-wife one single penny, because she obtained a free-probono lawyer. This is how ungodly the courts are today. I am not bitter, I am just stating the facts. I have placed everything into God's hands and have perfect peace in my heart. I chose to LET GO, LET GOD!

I crawled into an independent Baptist church on Guam in November of 2013, and found some friends, so I thought, and started regaining my emotional strength. But because of my King James Bible only views, the Bob Jones camp at Harvest Baptist Church kicked me out in November of 2014. The associate pastor called Dr. Jack Hyles and me “a cult.” The pastors were upset over the excellent book, “NIV: The Antichrist's Bible” by Dr. Al Lacy, which I had given to the senior pastor as a gift. They were also offended by the doctrinally-sound book titled, “I Never Knew You” by Michael P. Bowen, which exposes false prophet Ray Comfort. I didn't realize at the time that the church had invited Ray Comfort in 2007 to speak at their church. So they kicked me out! I have been struggling to find a church family ever since on Guam, unable to do so, trying to get my life back on track, serving God and doing the best that I can on my own. It hasn't been easy. The people whom I had grown close to at Harvest Baptist Church in Watchcare Meetings in their homes, and at church and church events, for one year, and I loved, totally gave up on me and abandoned me when their pastors kicked me out. They just forgot about me completely. It felt like another divorce!

In desperation for fellowship I even contacted that same church earlier this year in March of 2017, all three pastors, humbly requesting permission just to attend their church services (with my promise not to cause any problems), just so I could be around other believers, but three times they denied my sincere request, telling me to go away. They are holding a grudge (James 5:9). It is best, since they don't believe right. I am presently praying and looking for a city to relocate to in the states. This has been a very difficult decision for me. There are literally tens of thousands of places to live in America. I am looking at independent Baptist churches, because that is what I need most, a church family. Lord willing, if and when I find a wife, or decide on a place to move, I will do so with the Lord as my strength. Psalms 27:14, “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Albeit, due to my neck pain, I am not able to be at all the services, which is why I am on disability. When I went to Harvest, I made myself go to church most of the time, because I wanted to be there, but it was difficult for me. I cannot tell you in words how much my neck pain dominates my life. As I type, the toothache-like pain is horrible, in the bony area of the back of my neck. I so much want to find a wife, as I have lived on my own for 11 long years, but don't want to marry a mean person, so I am being careful. I even signed up for eharmony, which so far hasn't worked out. I guess there aren't many single independent Baptist women out there! I pray daily for God's help and guidance (Philippians 2:13). Clearly, my situation is difficult, and I ask for your prayers. It is easy for people to judge at a distance. I judge no one. My own loss, emotional trauma and sufferings have humbled me and made me a much more understanding, forgiving and loving Christian. I am the biggest sinner I know, and I don't judge anyone.

You can cure your own diabetes in just one week! Start now by eating a big salad. Any type of lettuce is fine. Go easy on the dressing. Add some bacon bits, red vinegar perhaps, and definitely a diced up fresh avocado. Drink at least a pint of fresh water (not toxic tap water). Fresh Prince of Bel Air is deceitful and spiritually confusing to young people, because the show sends a mixed message of morality. On one hand the show teaches moral character lessons about being honest, honoring your parents, and abstaining from drugs; while on the other hand teaching that it's OK to party, drink booze, lust, fornicate, be covetous, dress whorishly, talk dirty, listen to worldly music, have a sexually-perverted mind, and do dirty dancing. Hilary Banks, Will's cousin in the show, wears miniskirts and skin-tight clothing, and acts like a total whore. In one episode, Hilary dresses up sensually in a tight black leather miniskirt, to entice an IRS man. Carlton says she needs to do better, so she lifts her skirt to look more whorish. She states to Carlton... "I look like an expensive call girl," and she certainly does. This is the godless message which Fresh Prince of Bel Air is sending out to young people today. Although the showed aired from 1990 to 1996, it is still extremely popular today.

No, Sir Paul McCartney is not a Christian. Only a person who has been born-again by faith in the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ crucified on the cross, buried, and bodily resurrected the third day is a genuine Christian. That is what the inspired King James Bible teaches (1st Corinthians 15:1-6). YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! (John 3:5).

In sharp contrast, Paul doesn't believe in the Gospel. If you check online concerning Paul's religious beliefs, you'll find everything from Roman Catholicism to Hinduism to atheism, none of which are Christianity. Perhaps you argue that Paul is private and doesn't share his beliefs. No, has has shared his religious beliefs, which are found all over the internet. Paul has dabbled in everything EXCEPT Biblical Christianity.

For anyone who loves the truth, you fully know that Roman Catholicism is a giant religion completely devoid of truth and God! Catholics trust in their cultish Roman Catholic Church, which teaches Sacramental Salvation (aka, the “Seven Sacraments”). You don't get to Heaven by getting water baptized, confirmed, confessing to a sinful priest, nor any other so-called “sacraments” (a term not even found in the Holy Bible). You have to have childlike faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to become a Christian, which Paul has never once testified publicly. So, no, kindly, by all indications Paul McCartney is going straight to Hell when he dies, to burn forever and ever without hope. I am not happy about that, God forbid, I am simply being very honest.

I admit that I greatly admire Paul McCartney, from a secular viewpoint. I admire his musical genius. The man is clearly a legend to anyone who knows music. I still remember as a boy hearing “Silly Little Love Songs” by Paul McCartney and Wings on the radio in the 1970's. I love music and always have. I play many different stringed instruments (pedal steel, lap steel, banjo, guitar, ukulele, bass, lute and stringed harp). I thank God for music. In my humble opinion, anyone who doesn't like rock music is either dead, weird or a liar! I can hear some sanctimonious self-righteous Christian criticizing me already. Please don't misunderstand, I am 100% against rock music, because it is the number one culprit for the sexual revolution in America. However, it is not a sin to like something. You cannot help what you like or don't like. Being a passionate person who loves music, I like ALL kinds of music!

You Deserve Hell Today

For decades now, billions of people have been listening to the McDonald's singing slogan, "You Deserve A Break Today." The sinful human nature finds such self-indulgent words greatly appealing. No doubt, this marketing strategy has largely contributed to McDonalds success. Unfortunately, few people realize the underlying humanism inherent in such words. Do we really deserve a break today?

The Word of God (the Bible) declares that we all deserve to burn in hell-fire and brimstone (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:13-15, 21:8). No one deserves anything more than hell. Perhaps McDonalds simply meant that a working person has earned the right to enjoy a good meal. I would agree with that 100%. I love Big Macs and Quarter Pounders. I do not believe that McDonalds had any ill intent by using such words, but there is a difference between what we "deserve" and what we have have "earned" a right to enjoy. The Bible teaches that if a man doesn't work, then he shouldn't eat (2nd Thessalonians 3:10). A working man has a "right" to eat.

Nevertheless, even if McDonalds simply meant that a working person deserves a break, there is still a humanistic element in hearing those words..."You Deserve A Break Today." Believe me, millions of dollars probably went into coming up with that perfect statement. McDonalds has spent hundreds-of-millions of dollars experimenting with food items to come up with just the right product. I love McDonalds Coca-cola. A very long time ago when I was a teenager, I worked for McDonalds. I remember my supervisor telling me that McDonalds had spent like $3,000,000 just to determine how many holes to put in the MC DLT sauce dispenser (I think it was 21 holes). Don't hold me to that, it's been a long time. The Mc DLT came in two halves, in a double-compartment Styrofoam container. The hot beef patty with bottom bun came in one section of the container; then the cold lettuce, tomato, and other items came with the top bun. When you opened the container, you'd put the two halves together for a delicious sandwich. They stopped selling them many years ago, but I miss them a lot. What does all this have to do with deserving to go to hell? Nothing, but I felt like telling you about the Mc DLT.

Seriously, the Bible proclaims in Romans 3:10 that we are ALL sinners. Romans 3:23 declares that we have ALL fallen short of the glory of God. Isaiah 64:6 declares that our self righteousnesses are as filthy rags in the sight of God. We needs the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ, available only through the blood which Jesus Shed upon the cross. If you have never trusted Christ as your Saviour, then please do so now.

The sinful world in which we live praises itself for it's own self achievements. As Christians, we know better. We know that all good things come from God above (James 1:17). The pride of this life, and the lusts of the flesh, and the lusts of the eyes...will all pass away (1st John 2:15). One hundred years from now, nothing will matter except what you did with Jesus Christ. If you die in your sins, you will go to hell to burn. If you die in the Lord, then you will go to heaven. It's as simple as that. In a materialistic world where businesses are continually programming people to believe that they are so wonderful with slogans such as: "You Deserve The Best"..."You're Number One"..."Treat Yourself"..."Have It Your Way"..."You Deserve A Break Today"..."You Deserve A Vacation"--It's no wonder why people are so tragically brainwashed with humanism. Humanism is evil, a philosophy that abandons God and His Word. Burger King's "Have It Your Way" is reminiscent of Frank Sinatra's "I Did It My Way" (written by Paul Anka). On the contrary, the Bible teaches that we should do it God's way.

Could you imagine driving down the highway, when suddenly over the radio you heard someone singing..."You Deserve Hell Today, at McDonalds." You'd probably drive off the road. McDonalds would receive threatening calls and letters by the millions saying "How dare you!" People would file lawsuits claiming that their children were traumatized for life. You see, most people don't like when you tell them the truth.

The “Coronavirus” (COVID—19) began with a few deaths in China. The first confirmed death from the Coronavirus occurred on January 9, 2020 in China. As of March 2020, over 90,000 people have been infected. I was reluctant at first to say anything, waiting to see where this was headed before I gave my opinion. I wanted to wait until the virus spread to the United States before commenting, to confirm my suspicions.

Now, I could be wrong, and I certainly hope I am. I have been researching the forming New World Order since 2002, trying to fit each new piece of the puzzle together. The truths I have learned are mind-boggling. I sincerely suspect at the early stage of the Coronavirus outbreak, that it may have been manmade in a laboratory. It is too coincidental, to all of a sudden appear in 2020. We know from the infamous Georgia Guidestones, which were erected on March 22, 1980 by a mysterious man named R.C. Christian, that population reduction is the goal of the Luciferian elite. The very first of the ten futuristic stipulations of The Georgia Guidestones is to maintain a world population of 500,000,000. That would require extermination of nine-tenths of the planet's 8,500,000,000 people! I am not saying that the Coronavirus is the fulfillment of their openly stated goals to reduce the earth's human population, but I am saying it certainly could be!

Gerald Celente brings up a good point in the preceding video. He points out that 61,000 people die each year in the United States from the common flu. So far, the new Coronavirus has led to more than 89,000 illnesses and 3,000 deaths worldwide. But that's nothing compared with the flu, also called influenza. In the U.S. alone, the flu has caused an estimated 32 million illnesses, 310,000 hospitalizations and 18,000 deaths this season, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).[1] So, at this early point, the Coronavirus has been massively blown out of proportion by the media. Is this another 9/11 False Flag Terror Attack? Well see.

I just heard the director of the Centers For Disease Control And Prevention (CDC), say in the news that a cure for the Coronavirus would take at least 12 to 18 months to develop. A lot of people can die between now and then! As soon as I learned about the “new” Coronavirus breaking out in China, I suspected that it would come to the United States. Sure enough, it is here, which is why I am writing this article. I see the word “POLICE STATE” written all over this epidemic. Already in China citizens are being hauled like animals from their homes, thrown by thug police into quarantine centers. If this virus spreads across the United States, like it has in China, we could quickly see Police State force and Marshal Law in America. I have learned to be objective (distrustful) of everything our government and the newsmedia report! They have a poor tract record for telling THE TRUTH!

Again, I am not saying that the Coronavirus is manmade, but I do have my suspicions. I can hear the media now (like Sean Hannity and other stooges for the rich), saying things like: “How dare you Sir! How dare you suggest that this virus could be manmade when thousands of people are infected and dying!” Case in point, look at this CNN fool Piers Morgan berating former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura for telling THE TRUTH about the 911 attacks. Veteran Jesse Ventura proves one thing—that telling THE TRUTH doesn't change anything! The only thing that changes something is POWER! For example: Abortion is cold-blooded murder! We know it is murder! The Bible says it is murder! The very fact that a beating heart must be stopped, to carry out an abortion, proves that it is first degree murder! “First degree” means it is premeditated murder. All abortions are premeditated murder!!! In his classic book, George Orwell is right, who said: “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

Unfortunately, the highest U.S. courts have the POWER to keep murder legal in the womb. The courts have the POWER to make the sin of homosexuality legal. THE TRUTH is all around us today, but Satan is the god of this evil world (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4), to whom God has given the POWER for now. When Jesus Christ returns, He alone will have the POWER to change things (and Jesus will)! Everything in life boils down to who has the POWER. The American people are misled to believe that they hold the POWER, but they don't! You are a fool if you think the people have the POWER! No one, and I mean no one, in their right mind thinks that lesbians and sodomites should be legally allowed to influence, adopt and raise children! Only a woefully Godless person would be supportive of the Satanic LGBTQ agenda. The Zionist-controlled perverse American media is 100% pro-homosexual today! The liberal media are God's enemies!!!

So their new fans go back and are exposed to the filthy, raunchy and satanic videos and music of their earlier career. Being afraid of God is the beginning of wisdom. In the old days parents had the final say in raising their children (which is Biblical, Proverbs 13:24), unlike today when spanking your kids is considered a form of child abuse by the heathen world. Proverbs 29:15, “The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.” This Scripture isn't talking about leaving your child alone in any given instance; but rather, it refers to failing to discipline your child throughout their upbringing.

A child left to them self to watch TV, play video games and grow up without the love, teaching and discipline of a caring parent guarantees the future destruction of that child as a dysfunctional adult in society. It is positive character reinforcement for a child to have a healthy amount of fear of being physically disciplined if they do wrong. God put that padded area back there for a reason, that is, spankings when they need it.

I am against eye-shadow in public as this is a seductive look that ought to be reserved for intimacy between a husband and wife alone. That's just my opinion. I also think it is wrong for teenagers girls to be decked-out like prostitutes. Lip gloss is worldly. Walt Disney dresses young girls up to look like prostitutes. Teenage girls should not be allowed to wear makeup, high heels, or expensive jewelry until they're 18 in my Christian opinion. Walt Disney has successfully turned a generation of young girls into lascivious whores and sex-perverts. I have a right to my opinion, and I think the Walt Disney Corporation is of the Devil.

Earrings are certainly appropriate; but not if they hang down several inches. Also, I think multiple earrings in one ear are a worldly look and should not be worn by Christian women. A woman with 5 or 6 earrings in her ear is worldly. Nose and body piercings are worldly as well. I would refrain from diamonds and expensive looking jewelry that draws attention to itself. I think gold or diamond wedding bands are the exception to the rule, which are acceptable if they appear expensive. Such a token of love and commitment is supposed to be bright and let every man know that a woman is taken. Of course, I wouldn't wear such expensive jewelry walking down the street; but to church should be safe. I think pearls are fine too, but not too many of them or you'll look like a giant clam.

I think dying one's hair a different color is fine and acceptable; but green, orange, blue or other strange colors for hair are worldly. Some women must wear makeup or a wig or dentures due to health problems, which is fine.

Also, tattoos are worldly and should never be placed upon one's body. A popular trend nowadays is for whorish women to have tattoos placed on their lower back. This is wrong.

I think plastic surgery is bad. Breast implants are ridiculous and are associated with many health problems; not to mention they're simply not natural. We are living in a nuthouse society where one's looks are all that matters. We are bombarded with worldly sayings like... "get the look" or "own the room" or "impress your friends." I got those from a recent Home Depot TV commercial of all places. American society has gone insane with body worship. So, in this whacko sex-perverted environment, it is important for Christian ladies to be careful how they dress, as to not contribute to the sexual promiscuity of our time. Certainly, Christian women don't have to wear sackcloth; but "baggy is better" is my motto.

The Bible plainly says,

Revelation 13:16-18, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

It also should be considered that the number 6 is the number of mankind. In Romans 6:6, the word “man” is the 6th word of the 6th verse of the 6th chapter of the 6th book of the New Testament. I don't get caught up into Biblical numerology that much, but it's preeminence throughout the Scriptures cannot be denied. God cleverly assembled the Bible in such a way that it is evident that the Lord loves numerology (the study of numbers).

God wouldn't have tossed out the challenge in Revelation 13:18 to compute the number of a man, who will be the Antichrist, unless it were possible to solve. At no point throughout history have Christians been able to discern Biblical prophecy as accurately as today, because we are blessed to literally be living in prophetic history (that is, prophecy is history written in advance). The New World Order is unfolding before our very eyes, being called for by name around the world by the leaders of nations, scholars, the Pope, scientists, educators and influential people from all walks of life.

We are witnessing prophetic history being fulfilled. I am confident that the challenge in Revelation 13:18 was put there by God for more than just our mere curiosity; but rather, as a lamp unto the feet of the saints who will be persecuted and many martyred during the Tribulation by the Antichrist. Remember, the Antichrist cannot be introduced to the world until the Rapture of the saints (2nd Thessalonians 2:7-8). So, in my humble thinking, I would think that the challenge of Revelation 13:18 will not be solvable until that time. I am grateful to God, and feel so blessed every time I read the Bible, to have such a clear view of Biblical prophecy.

The Old Testament prophets didn't understand what they wrote. The prophet Daniel even saw things from the End Times in visions, and desired to know what they meant, but God told him it wasn't meant for him. Daniel 12:8-9, “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”

It is abundantly clear that we are now living in the End Times, during the time of the feet of iron and clay of Nebuchadnezzar's image. The Second Coming of Christ is represented in Nebuchadnezzar's dream by a STONE cut from a mountain without hands, which is Jesus Christ, who will smash the image (the kingdoms of this world), and establish His own Kingdom. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

I am a law-abiding citizen (Romans 13:1-10). As such, I have a right to voice my opinion. Thankfully this is not communist China. The only place that I know of in America where you feel like you are in China or North Korea is in some Independent Baptist Churches, where you are forbidden to speak your opposition to the Devil's modern corrupt Bible versions. One such communist-feeling church is Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, where I was reprimanded for sharing the truth in 2014, and told that I could not return in 2017 three times. I love them, but they don't love me. That is okay, God loves me, and I love them, and if they hold a grudge that is on them. Kindly, and lovingly, I've got a big independent Baptist church down the street from me on Guam, whose shameful pastors I have repeatedly warned in a spirit of Christian love, that their “Easy-To-Read Version” is of the Devil. Instead of listening to the rebuke of a wise man (humbly), they kicked me out of THEIR church and on three later occasions have refused even allow me to attend their church services. They hate and despise me and the truth, THAT MUCH!!! I'm talking about the Bob Jones University camp, who embrace the Devil's Bible PERversions, and call me and Dr. Jack Hyles “a cult” for being King James Bible only in our beliefs and preaching!!! Isaiah 53:3, “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” I know how Jesus felt, being rejected and despised, and the Lord knows how I feel (Hebrews 4:15-16). Television is saturated with insane commercials that show a person happy and smiling if they take a certain drug, but then the company lists all the dangerous risks of taking the drug. Such commercials are disturbing to say the least. It's almost like they're mocking the stupidity of the American public. I'm a firm believer in natural remedies where they are available.

So be careful about blindly trusting your doctor(s). Read up on the drug you're about to take. Ask questions, especially if you're being given a half-dozen prescriptions at the same time like I was. The human body can only take so much abuse. I assumed that my doctor knew what he was doing, but obviously he didn't, because the pharmacy had to issue warnings about the serious drug interactions that I would very likely encounter. I get disgusted every time I meet military women, particular the older hags. They are bossy, jerks, bullies, tough, rough and rotten people in many cases. They make ungodly feminists everywhere proud! Feminism is the rot of America. I cannot stomach manly women who give orders. I walk away from them in disgust laughing. This bratty breed of rebellious females today, who get offended every time women aren't elevated to the level of a man, are a curse upon our land.

Jesus may have had short hair, but He also had a beard. Let us be realistic about small issues such as beards. There is no moral principal hear as with a woman wearing pants. A woman wearing pants promotes unholy lusts in men's hearts. This is why it is very sinful for a woman to dress immodestly. Many women are apathetic concerning this evil. Even some Christian women have not matured in this area of proper dress. A woman who wears provocative clothing HURTS other men spiritually. She makes it much more difficult for them to live right. It is a moral issue. However, a beard is not going to tempt someone else to sin (maybe to throw something at you and call you ugly, but that's about it). Seriously, we need to let go of this idea that people should conform to "a certain look."

When I was in Bible college years ago, I met a few characters. I usually wore an all white dress shirt to chapel, but every so often I'd wear an all black dress shirt just to be different. When I did, I was the only guy wearing an all black shirt out of hundreds of guys in all white shirts. I felt out of place but I didn't let it bother me because I knew that God looks at the heart, not at the color of my shirt. And by the way, unsaved people don't care what color shirt you are wearing either. If you love people with God's love, they'll likely eventually allow you to share the gospel with them. I wanted to be different, so I wore a dark shirt. Do you what some guy said to me? He came up to me and said "You are not right with God for wearing that black shirt!" I thought he was kidding, but he was very serious. He told me I wasn't right with God because I was wearing a black shirt. I'm not kidding. He even called me "a rebel." Do you see how immature we can be if we're not careful? I didn't think bad of him then nor do I now. I'm sure now that he's older he has since matured. How silly when we judge people simply because they're not exactly like us. There was no rule at the college requiring white shirts. He judged me because I wasn't "conforming" to what he thought I should be. May we all learn our lesson.

Just because a man wears a beard doesn't mean he's not a fundamental Baptist. London's greatest preacher ever, Charles Spurgeon, wore a big beard (and smoked a big cigar). Dwight L. Moody wore a beard. I'm not justifying great men's weaknesses. I'm simply saying that we need to be real careful about ostracizing people in the name of Biblical "separation" simply because they wear a beard or don't wear their hair at quite the length we think it should conform to. I play a pedal steel guitar. I've played it now for fifteen years. I love the country and Hawaiian sounds of the steel guitar. I loathe the lousy so-called country "music" heard on the radio today. I like instrumentals with no words. I realize that most country music is nothing more than a three minute soap opera. Do you know what you get if you play a country song backwards? You get your wife back, your home back, your job back, your car back and your dog back. Just as with the piano, the steel guitar can be used to play ANY type of music. I don't play in a band. I never would because I'm a Christian who loves the Lord. I could never use my God-given talents for the promotion and sale of alcohol. So I play at home for my family to hear (those poor souls). Actually, they seem to really like it when I play the guitar. There is no music this side of heaven to me any more beautiful than the pedal steel guitar. However, I know that some Christians would consider the Pedal Steel Guitar only as a "honky-tonk" instrument played in bars. It surely is not.

There was always wickedness in our culture, but it was confined to private clubs, taverns and places of ill repute. Today, wickedness is in our face everywhere we turn.
