Trump did an excellent job. He's no doubt one of our most consequential presidents. Our country had been tanking under Democrat leadership (oxymoron). Trump exposed democrats for what they stand for-- the decline of US, preferring illegal aliens over their own US citizens, DEI, and government that puts US citizens last. No political party has done more damage to the US and its citizens than the Democrat Party.
A message to the right: if we want to defeat the left, we are going to have to stop being so passive, and adopt an authoritarian posture toward left wing america. We need to stop pretending we can "win their hearts and minds" because they have neither. The left does not respect or abide by the rules, which means that if we on the right want to win and save america from the left, we cannot afford to play by the rules either. Everyone saw who the left elected as the mayor of New York City. We on the right need to consider INSTALLING someone in 2028 on the right who is equally as ambitious, dedicated, and driven for the right wing cause as the people the left is now electing. Trump is able to use tariffs to control headline inflation, which the Democrats are trying to run on in 2026. Raise tariffs right after he enters office, which artificially raises inflation a little bit, but then he has the ability to cut them in 2026 which lowers headline year over year inflation to 2% or less right around the midterms. The lower inflation reading will give a timely market bounce and enable the fed to cut rates. It's an excellent strategy.
Stephen Miller is brilliant. Here's a man who's universally disliked by half the nation. The fact that he himself is a religious minority doesn't stop these morons from going with the 'jackboot' comparisons. Liberals are intellectually questionable.

An Arizona Republican lawmaker on Wednesday called for the execution of a Democratic congresswoman because she urged people upset with President Donald Trump to protest in the streets.
Kingman Republican Rep. John Gillette wrote on the social media site X that U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, a Democrat from Washington, was calling for the the government to be overthrown and should be hanged.
“Until people like this, that advocate for the overthrow of the American government are tried convicted and hanged.. it will continue,” Gillette said in response to a video of Jayapal.
The post Gillette responded to claimed that Jayapal was making a call to violence because she said protesters should be “strike ready” and “street ready.” The Arizona Mirror watched the video in its entirety and found no calls to violence or advocating for overthrowing the government; it was focused on “non-violent resistance” to Trump and advising people on how to do that.
In contrast, Gillette has expressed support for the Trump supporters who stormed the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, who violently assaulted police officers and broke down doors and windows in order to access the building so they could stop Congress from certifying the 2020 election. In several posts on X, he called the 1,600 or so people who were prosecuted — and since pardoned by Trump — for their actions that day “political prisoners.”
In a message to all his fellow lawmakers that included a racial slur, he placed blame for political violence solely on Democrats and the political left, accusing them of stoking hate and violence against Republicans.

For those of you who were born in the 70s like me, has life gotten easier or harder since then? Has your quality of life increased or decreased? Do things feel safer or less safe? Because as a lifelong Democrat, life seems to have gotten harder, the value of the dollar has gotten lower, things have gotten more expensive, and things are a lot less safe now. I switched to vote Trump because I wanted a wrecking ball to destroy the status quo that has failed Americans for 40+ years. We have the illusion of change - Democrat to Republican to Democrat to Republican, but things don't change. For us Americans things just get harder. So why wouldn't we want a political outsider, who is a billionaire and can't be bought, to come in and wreak havoc on the system that has failed us for so long? And you have to be rational - to destroy such a system isn't going to happen subtly or overnight. Like a novocaine shot before a root canal, it's going to be painful in the beginning but once the process is complete, the future will look a whole lot better. So stop feeding off your emotions and having your television who to hate and what to think.
