busy wiping his ass with the Constitution and destroying America
charlatan and professional con artist
a soft coup d'etat that completely destroyed the lawful and legitimate government of the American nation
made extensive use of the war-time propaganda powers
That all doesn’t sound like FDR at all, but does sound a hell of a lot like a far more recent occupant of the Oval Office.
busy wiping his ass with the Constitution and destroying America
Like, say, ignoring the Emoluments Clause, extorting bribes from foreign countries, and letting thousands of Americans die rather than admit he doesn’t know everything?
charlatan and professional con artist
Like being a literal game show host, who’s run a fraudulent university, a fraudulent charity, and gone bankrupt so many times he can only keep appearing rich by getting deep into hock with the Russian mafia?
a soft coup d'etat that completely destroyed the lawful and legitimate government of the American nation
Like getting to be President even after losing the popular vote by nearly three million, and then staffing every government agency he can as well as the Supreme Court with incompetents, drunks, ass-kissing sycophants, and people opposed to the very jobs they were appointed to?
made extensive use of the war-time propaganda powers
Like spending two hours every fucking night holding a press conference where he complains about everything the media accurately reports making him look bad?
FDR is rightly considered one of the best Presidents in US history, behind only Washington and Lincoln. The other president I mentioned is giving Millard Fillmore and James Buchanan some heavy competition at the other end of the rankings.
