These kinds of comments seems to be more and more common on “pro-asian” subreddits were South Asians and East Asian members claim the other side of being “more accepted” into white dominated societies like the US and thus receiving far less hatred and racism.
I notice these comments popping up alot more with the rise of politicians like Sunak, Braverman or Patel in the UK or even Haley and Ramaswamy in the US by the East Asian members of these forums, that EAs are more hated and reviled compared to their SA counterparts while the South Asians were somehow perfectly accepted into majority white society.
Obviously its far from the truth that South Asians are “perfectly accepted” to white majority societies or that the average white person somehow has so much more racial hatred for a Sino-American/Canadian/British compared to Indo-Americans/Canadians/British.
In fact all the studies I could find shows the opposite! That white people are more likely to show racial hatred for South Asians than East Asians!
