I rarely say that someone’s heart is evil. It’s just not something that I take lightly. I don’t throw the “evil” word around…probably because I was steeped in real, tangible evil for so long.

But read this. I believe that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have evil living deep in their hearts. I can feel it when they speak. I can see it in their faces. Something inside me literally rises up when I just look at their pictures and hear their voices. There is evil there.

Lord, have mercy on them and break the evil ties that bind them.

When you see decent loving people and see them as evil, the problem is you not them.

I rarely say that someone’s heart is evil. It’s just not something that I take lightly. I don’t throw the “evil” word around… probably because most conflicts are not so binary.

But read this. I believe that Donald Trump has evil living deep in his rotten heart. I can feel it when he speaks. I can see it in his inhuman face. Something inside me literally rises up when I just look at his pictures and hear his voice. There is evil there.

But, I’ll be fully serious here, people. I genuinely don’t throw the term “evil” around lightly. I really do think that oversimplifying any conflicts or motivations as “good” or “evil” is outright dangerous and only serves to make them worse. Most “evildoers” genuinely have good intentions in some way, or at least think they do. Sometimes it’s just their past and environment that made them so.

Calling your oppenents, whoever they may be, “evil” is demonizign them and frankly isn’t that much different than what Nazis did back in WW2.

Hence why I don’t like to demonize Trumpists that much, despite STRONGLY disagreeing with them. Most of them might genuinely think Donald Trump is the “strong leader” the USA needs to remain afloat in the current climate. Others might be outright manipulated or may be desperate. Hell, even Trump himself, despite his many, many, many, many, many, many, MANY flaws I think is simply too intellectually disabled and emotionally stunted to fully grasp that he’s doing wrong things. I still HATE him because he’s an ASSHOLE, but I don’t genuinely think he’s “evil incarnate”.

So, yeah, Ms. Abby Johnson. I don’t call my opponents “evil hellspawn” just for disagreeing with them as opposed to you. And I do think that is why your side is dangerous, even if not outright evil.

I don’t really believe that ‘evil’ is a thing. It’s a reaction. Someone had a reason to do something, we judge it evil or good.

I prefer teh world views that split motivations into self-interest and group-interest. Selfish or Generous.
Selfishness isn’t necessarily evil. Volunteering for a job for the bullet point on your evals to improve your chance of advancement is self-promotion, but not selfish.
But on this, i do think Trump and all Trumpists are outrageously selfish. Most on the right don’t care about anything until it affects them.
Trump wants to make all the nation’s decisions for HIS advancement, or at least his avoiding jail. He wouldn’t help states with emergencies until after he checked how they voted for/against him. Not even a red or blue state,just him. And he wants to rewrite slander laws to punish anyone that attacks HIM.

I truly feel that Harris/Walz want the best for everyone, which the Right sees as ‘increasing MY taxes to benefit people i don’t respect.’

Go clutch your pearls somewhere else!

But Trump who found liable for rape who has been exposing right wing evangelicals and televangelists as bullshitters who couldn't answer how he prays, never asked forgiveness is good? Were I christian I might think that was divine intervention from god.

Vance could be evil but I doubt it. He comes across as somebody who hates his own life and blames women for his own failings. Trump’s heart is just empty. A void he tries to fill by getting others to proclaim how important and powerful he is. Real evil requires intentionally doing this you know are wrong. Look at somebody like Mitch McConnell. McConnell understands full well that Trump is a shallow authoritarian who would tear apart the US to feed his own ego but still supports Trump because it suits McConnell’s political goals this week.
