It’s also an issue of what you’re used to, what the people around you look like. In some countries, dental status is pretty poor, while in Sweden, dental care is free up to age 20 (at least). A person with bad teeth here is VERY visible, while in countries where dental hygiene is very expensive, more people will have bad teeth and fewer will care about it.

When I’ve been out alone at night, I have not been “seeking” something. I’ve just been on my way home from work, usually. Yes, China is very bad at following human rights.
