Pretty sure we were doing a pretty decent comeback under Biden (not perfect by any means, though), and I'm sure we'd be going even further in a positive direction under a President Kamala Harris.

The phrase "Great American Comeback" reminded me of the "Great Leap Forward". Looking at Wikipedia, the "Leap" had the head of the country overpromising, underdelivering, causing numerous needless deaths, blaming everyone but himself for his terrible policies, and enacting measures to remove opposition and give himself more power.

Like was already said by a few people here….hell no! Even if it’s just “rape fantasy” we’re talking about, I’m definitely more into being the rapist than the raped. Though of course, anyone who I would indulge in those fantasies with (and I totally have) would be a “willing victim”!

Every time man puts pen to paper, when he “expresses” himself, he is crying for rape in some way.

What I’ve been reading more than anything for a good while now is “haremlit” books, where the male protagonist somehow or other ends up having multiple female partners. Most of the authors of those seem to be men, though I guess I don’t really know, maybe some of them are women writing under a “pen name”…but anyway, I don’t get how in any way someone would read those and come to the conclusion that the authors are “crying for rape”….

I found the apologetics by "Sweetride" interesting. As a skeptic also familiar with patriarchy and the fact that scripture is human tradition development, I find it more likely that if Mary really existed, the child was not of divine origin but was claimed to be, in order to avoid punishment for adultery (or simply to embellish the character using traditional divinization tropes). Just like historians know that if the historical Jesus existed, the miracles in the gospels are still legends inspired by the influential man, not historical.

Sex is a human right in the sense that it's unethical to deny people the right to it and what they're allowed to do in privacy. Safety is a human right in the sense that it's unethical to exceed one's boundaries. This means that sex harassment and sex abuse are not rights and actually crimes. It also means that to practice your right, you have to deserve it, you have to do it legitimately. Ultimately it has to be mutually consensual between responsible people. Interestingly, most people are able to enjoy this right without demanding to have special rape abusive powers. Access to healthcare is a human right and you should seek it, your problem is in your head.
