[Thread: A 14-year-old kid shoots a transsexual 15-year-old, from behind, in the head]

The sick freak didn't belong in school. He belonged in a mental institution. So do his "parents". As far as the degenerates wanting to crucify a 14 year old child for this; I would expect nothing less from them.
If the situation were reversed and the freak had killed the straight kid, they would have a million excuses why the freak shouldn't be punished.

The kid should not be tried as an adult.

The administration should be put on trial for letting such abominable sick costume displays n school. When kids are allowed to act out their pathologies, nothing good results.

His daily parade of his sexuality through the use of clothing, make up and so forth is, in fact, harrassment.
Remember, these kids are forced by state law to attend these schools. It's the school's choice to inflict sexual offense on the kids.

Obviously one young child was harrassed to the point he felt it necessary to defend himself with a firearm.

If we win on this one we win huge. First, we will have exposed the public health movement for what it is. Second, poeple we become far more skeptical of scientists. Third, we will expose how they used AIDS to push their anti-family, pro-homosexual, pro-drug abuse agenda in our public schools. Etc, etc, etc.

Like I said, if we win this one, we WIN BIG.

PS Can you imagine if the AIDS scandal and the human caused global warming scandal were to be exposed at the same time?!?!?

This is one of gondramB's standard strawmen. Eliminating evolution would in no way impact science, and gondramB knows it. Nothing of value has ever come from evolution or its promotion. The vast majority of scientific advances have been by, or at the direction of creationists, and without them we would all have to work much harder.

If we could remove the search for the imaginary 'glue' that connects evolution to science from the various government budgets, we could cut taxes by 50%.

Oh, and also, you’ll notice that for the last 3 1/2 years of the tribulation, no rain falls on the earth. So that water is being evaporated to reform the firmament. God will be rebuilding the earth. Earth will be sharply rotated, jolted, so that the mountains will be broght low and the valleys raised up (from the rotational forces, the earth will be flattened to prepare it for world-wide agriculture). The earth is going to be made into a giant garden. In order to do that, everything has to change. With the vapor canopy, the firmament reinstated, radiation from the sun will be partially blocked so that people’s life spans will be muchg greater than they are now. The Bible says that a sinner will die at the age of 100 and be called a child. One of the reasons we die so young, is because we have a very thin atmosphere, and pukey ozone layer. Our shields are almost down. Like I said, the “curses” of the tribulation are just God’s way of turning the earth back into a garden. The seas will vanish, as John said there were no more seas. A LOT of landmass is going to be freed up. We will no longer need the seas, which are salt water (antiseptic) to filter our air and water, the earth will be in perfect balance and that will no longer be needed.

God is very clear on the fact that humans get 6000 years to attempt to rule ourselves. This is the six days of man. The Bible teaches that to God, in 2Peter 3:8, “a day is like a 1000 years.” And on the 7th day, the 7th 1000 year period, we get our rest, when Lord Jesus returns. I suspect we are very close to our 6000th year, but not quite. You would have to leave 7 years out for the tribulation, so at the very very latest, we could be in the year 5993, by God’s reckoning. It’s so hard to tell what year we are in from creation, since the calendar has changed so many times, also, since the day of creation, I suspect that the earth’s rotation has slowed quite a bit. Notice that during the tribulation, the Bible teaches that the “days will be shortened by a third”, which means that instead of a 24 hour day, we will have 16 hour days. God tells us that unless this shortening occurred, then we’d all perish. He will shorten the days so that the 7 years of the tribulation will be shortened. Perhaps the earth will accelerate on her axis after being struck by what the bible calls a “flaming rock from the Heavens” (space), which “blazes like a torch”, obviously a comet.

What I don’t understand is professing Christians who still hold to evolution, and an old earth, when the Bible clearly states that there was no death before Adam sinned. They pick and choose the parts of scripture they wish to believe, and just so they won’t have to defend their faith (if they have any at all), or to be accepted by their worldly friends, they compromise with a lie that denies the Word of God.

Matthew 24: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened

I’ve always loved that verse because over and over again, we are told that the earth will go through horrible punishment for 7 years, during the Tribulation, but, like any loving parent, God finds a way to shorten our suffering, so that we will indeed go through 7 years of punishment, just that some of that punishment will occur with 16 hour days. I suspect that at the time of the creation of the earth, the earth rotated at that speed. 16 hour days may be what God designed at first.

Its a shame we show petty intolerance for Muslims in the West. We should be a little more sensitive to Muslim values and openly show gross intolerance toward them instead. This means they should be second class citizens, should be forced to pay a special tax, anyone converting from one of our belief systems to Islam should be beheaded. And being that we currently have the military might to conquer, raid, and enslave the Islamic world we should certainly do so (while deceptively talking peace to gain tactical advantage if applicable). After all, this is how Islam demands they treat the rest of us. So by doing so, we would be showing them greater respect.

Now, draw the only plausible conclusion from all that evidence; life had to have been created, purposely, by a creator. Life is found everywhere, all over the world, even in the darkest, most inhospitable regions of the ocean floor, so it must be VERY EASY to make, right? If it's so abundant, as it is, then making some should be a lead-pipe-cinch. Heck, it's hard to keep the stuff at bay! So, go ahead. Take any non-living materials you want, and create some life. [How about you? What kind of evidence would convince you that life on Earth reached its present state via evolutionary common descent?]

I don't see any reason to believe in evolution since God in His infallable Word said He created the world in six days. That's the basis for the seven day week; the fall of Adam is the basis for salvation in Jesus Christ; the provision of a man and a woman is the basis for one man-one woman marriage. God said that's how He did it. Only if God gives me another reason revealed in scripture would I consider believing in evolution.

The secular humanism I've seen promulgated by people convinced we were not created has wrought the evils of relativism, nihilism, hopelessness, lack of purpose, etc. I'm glad you're not saying God doesn't exist.

What kinds of public policies do we evangelical Christians want to see take place in America today? A quick and by no means exhaustive list would include things like: a general prohibition of abortion; the allowance of prayer in public schools; the rejection of embryonic (not adult) stem-cell research; the Federal prohibition of homosexual marriage (either by law or by an admendment to the Constitution); further restrictions on pornography; a tightening of obscenity laws in movies and television; vigorous law enforcement against pedophiles both on the Internet and in the society at large; the replacement of sex education programs for students with abstinence-based programs; putting an end to the tyranny of Darwinian evolution teaching in public schools such that the flaws in evolutionary theory and creation science would at least get equal consideration; and stopping the Federal court system's twisting of the First Amendment to find some supposed "separation of Church and State" that in turn is used to remove all public expression of the Christian faith from American society.

Those of some of the things we want.

FWIW, there is a moral imperative for commanders to mandate Christian exposure of their personnel on active duty.

Recent ecumenical perspectives fail to recognize the significance of God the Holy Spirit in the continuing sanctification of each and every believer, every day and moment of their lives. Many worldly officers believe they are able to substitute a worldly system of counterfeit belief independent of faith through Christ and still advance in good works. Such thinking is good for nothingness, not only jeopardizing the sanctification and spiritual growth of their juniors, but also placing their commands at risk of divine discipline, being in the wrong place at the wrong time on the battlefield which is deadly.

IMHO, if our commander-in-chief was remaining in fellowship through Christ in all things, he would relieve those in the chain of command who seek such counterfeit substitutes to God’s Plan and place the US armed forces at risk, without divine guidance through faith in Christ.

You cherry-pick those quotes that you find the most objectionable, but you have a tendency to ignore the bigger questions, or the more coherent statements.

For instance, what is the origin of life, from which all other life sprang?

Did only one organism start all present forms of life, from amoebae to whales? Or did several different primordial organisms form around the same time, spawning the diversity that is the hallmark of our world?

Is life still being spontaneously generated, or was that only possible a couple of billion years ago?

When most of life was extinguished during one or another extinction episode, did it all start over again from another primordial ooze, or did the few life-forms left over become the ancestors of all present life?

What type of evolution is responsible for the presence of non-living matter? Of energy? Of cosmic forces, etc?

Is it really possible for a species to become suited to its environment through a random process of mutation?

Etc, etc, etc, ad nauseum. To believe that all that exists merely came about through some random process more than strains credulity, it rips it to shreds

The basic system of life i.e. RNA/DNA is clearly the work of a single pair of hands, i.e. God’s. Moreover it is provable that macroevolution is unworkable. Nonetheless evidence suggests that the re-engineering of life forms was a cottage industry of some sort in the recent past of this planet and that more than one pair of hands was involved.
