EVERY country on Earth has abortion, either legal and safe or illegal and dangerous. Abortions have been around ever since the first proto-human realized that certain plants or fungi dislodged the growing fetus from the womb. The Bible even describes how it’s done. Contraceptives have been around about as long. Patriarchy doesn’t like these, as they make women in charge of their own bodies. We certainly can’t have THAT!
The Bible also says that if a woman is attacked and has a miscarriage, but is otherwise unhurt, the attacker should only pay her husband for the “theft” of the future child. If the woman is harmed, however, the attacker owes the husband eye-for-eye, life-for-life. In short; abortion is not murder, according to the Bible.
Humans fought for those freedoms, they were NOT God-given. God only gives commands.
