Define a chair in a way that doesn’t include things that are not considered chairs. Trans women are women because science says they are. There’s more to ones’ gender than what’s below your belt and that’s true outside of our species as well.
Why would including transwomen as women be leading to absurdities? What absurdities? I see nothing detracted by letting trans women be allowed into women’s shelters. I see nothing to be detracted by ensuring transpeople can’t be discriminated against during their jobs or from getting houses and medical care.
