I’ll admit that I personally can’t understand the mindset of people who stop sex before their partner is satisfied. Sex is very important to me, and so is satisfying my partner. I’ve kept going after I finished and even through pain because I wanted to make sure the other person had fun.

The times it’s been pulled on me I’ve been really pissed off; I made sure to let them know I was upset and disappointed, and if they wanted to have sex with me again they’d damn well better get me off first, because otherwise, how will I know I’ll end up getting off at all?

I will, partially, agree with them on something:

I would personally rather have sex with a stranger (where protection was used) than help that same stranger do heavy labor, like furniture moving.

And no one down here likes Graham. No one. Ever since it's become obvious just how spineless and slimy he is, he's become the laughingstock of the whole state. Anyone who's going to vote for him is because he's a Republican, not because they personally like him.

Hell, that's the basis for an ingenious ad campaign that's running here right now, appealing to pro-Trump voters, saying that he's corrupt scum who's preventing Trump from “draining the swamp.” And I think it might work. I would not at all be surprised if Trump wins the state but Graham gets tossed.

I'd be perfectly willing to believe that some parents, for several reasons, would try to force “girly" cis boys and “boyish” cis girls to be trans. There's enough weird radicals on the fringe that I can see that happening.

What I don't believe is that this is anything more than something on the fringe. The opposite problem (not letting trans kids be trans) is a lot more commonplace and should therefore be focused on first.

To the extent that it happens now, it can be handled individually on a case-by-case basis, because it's so rare. If it becomes a more widespread problem, then we can focus societal-wide attention and resources on it, but I don't think we're anywhere close to that.

I've never understood why some people with abusive parents take it out on the whole gender instead of the abuser. I'm not advocating murder in any form, I'm just trying to understand.

Take Edmund Kemper (not the one who gets quoted here, the actual serial killer). He had an abusive mother, and if he had just killed her at the beginning, instead of doing so after killing a bunch of others, he probably could have gotten out of prison after a few years, had a better life, and not ruined the lives of so many innocent people.

A lot of poly people, myself included, don't see any difference between sex and any other fun physical activity.

Someone who demands “you only play golf with me, nobody else” is being unreasonable. And unless you've agreed “yes, I won't play golf with anyone but you,” there's nothing wrong with playing with someone else.

We just extend the same logic to sex.
