ArkBien: The reason I assume Timjer is male is because he’s explicitly said so in comments before.
So Timjer, I’m falsely accusing you of behaving like a sexist? (Please note: I didn’t say initially that you were A sexist, because I honestly believed you made a mistake and posted without thinking. But I’m starting to change my mind, since you’re making this all about you personally.) Ok. Explain to me 1) why posting a list of your “ideal partner” (female) in a public space and including the following (which I noticed is still there for all to read):
*Pearly white & straight teeth
*Hygienic & well-groomed (& shaven & waxed, except for “down there”, that just needs trimming)
*Tall (+/-1.8m) & leggy
*Athletic (preferably good stamina over muscles, but girl-abs are welcome too)
*Preferably black or blonde hair over brown
*Preferably longer hair
*Curvy; wide hips, narrow waist (but not emaciated), wide shoulders, and VERY buxom (G/H-cup at minimum, if I can push my luck)
does NOT contribute towards the obectification of women and policing how the “ideal” woman would look. And 2) why it’s offensive to protest against it if one feels offended by that. Because it seems to me like just the thing a sexist would do. And if the poster identifies as a feminist I’d think they’d welcome a chance to rectify their mistake.
I personally have pretty bad foot-in-mouth-disease, but if somebody calls me on something I’ve said that’s offensive to a group of people I take that seriously and try to change my behavior. Of course I react negatively to the person who calls me on my behavior. But I know that reaction is probably due more to my fragile sense of self-worth than to the other person being malicious. Maybe I was wrong to protest against posts which, though not ill intended, made me feel bad. But if we can’t do that, what’s even the point of this whole board?
