The vaccine is introduced into the child, the child then grows and tries to find its own personality, and if this is inhibited by mercury or other substances present in the vaccine which enter the brain, the child becomes gay. The problem will especially be present in the next generations, because when gays have children, the children will carry along with them the DNA of their parent’s illness. Because homosexuality is a disease, even though the WHO has decided that it is not. Who cares! The reality is that it is so. Each vaccination produces homosexuality, because it prevents the formation of one’s personality. It is a microform of autism, if you will. You will see how many gays there will be in the next generation, it will be a disaster.

What a foolish article written by a even more foolish woman. Blacks are not discriminated against in the least. There so many programs that focus on helping them. I would say black males have to do half as much to go twice as far as that of White males. They get breaks on college admissions, they get breaks in regards to picking up government contracts, etc. What I am saying is easily provable. In fact in many trades and services it is common knowledge. I know many fellow White Male entrepreneurs who do (and have done) work as sub-contractors for black firms and black businesses. This happens because in many instances these black firms are handed government contractors for which they lack the ability to fulfill. Whites continue to prosper not because of Racism, but we continue to succeed in spite of it. I myself would be considered quite successful by most people's standards. However I made it on my own. Even with Affirmative action, I was able to succeed. So stop pouting, and grow up.

Ed Taylor, via attourney Paul Sullivan #homophobia huffingtonpost.com

Ed Taylor, of Maryland, recently learned that his ex-wife has befriended a gay man. Outraged, he is filing for sole custody of their 2 sons. The following is a letter to the ex-wife from his lawyer, Paul Sullivan. Names have been redacted.

Dear Mrs. XXXXXX

I have been retained by Mr. XXX again to address parenting issues related to your two (2) sons. As you know, there has been considerable difficulty recently related to your refusal to support and encourage the children's Roman Catholic faith and certain biblical precepts related to lifestyle choices. It appears as if you are encouraging a homosexual lifestyle for the children and allowing your eldest, XXXX at age 13 to be placed in an environment where he could, and likely would, be exposed to a child predator.

As you know this case was previously assigned to Judge Kenneth long who is currently the administrative judge for the Washington County Circuit Court in Hagerstown. In the event you continue the destructive parenting that encourages XXXX' exploration of decadent choices in behavior, we will have no alternative but to file to obtain sole legal custody and sole physical custody of both children. We have been in communication with Sheriff XXXX, the vice principal of XXXX Middle School, the guidance counselor at XXXX Middle School and the president of the XXXX County Commissioners, seeking their assistance and support in helping XXXX change the path which you seem to be encouraging.

It may be necessary for us to file a CINA petition, because the actions taken at his school related to detention do not seem to be having any corrective effect. This child appears to be out of control because of your refusal to co-parent with Mr. XXXX on Saturday, March 16th at 8:30 PM as ordered by the court. It is our understanding that you allowed XXXX to stay overnight at the home of a known homosexual whose probable intentions related to XXXX are suspect. Further investigation may lead to the request for criminal charges against that individual due to XXXX minority.

We're attempting to obtain additional assistance to help XXXX abate the current course you have encouraged him to travel. You seem not to understand the eventual adverse consequences that may occur for XXXX and which could adversely affect him for a lifetime.

If, however, you would be taking the position in court that you are not encouraging XXXX in the way it is believed you are, and are in fact unable to adequately discipline XXXX or institute and enforce parental boundaries that are needed, you certainly have the option to enter into a consent decree allowing Mr. XXXX to have sole legal and sole physical custody of the children so that he will have the authority, within the bounds of law, to take the corrective action needed to safeguard the best interests of the children.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions concerning this matter. If you are agreeable to the entry of a consent order as suggested above, please call me at your earliest convenience and I will prepare it for your review and signature.

Thank you and kindest regards,

Very truly yours,

Paul C. Sullivan

Ann Coulter #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Liberal women are too fragile and too easily offended to hold political office -- that's the latest pronouncement from ultra-controversial pundit Ann Coulter, who made the comments during an appearance on conservative host Sean Hannity's Fox News program Thursday.

Hannity and Coulter's discussion centered around the heated gun control legislation exchange that took place Thursday between Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).

After Cruz quoted portions of the Bill of Rights to Feinstein, the senior senator snapped back, saying she's "not a sixth grader."

[...]

“I used to think women just should not be able to vote. Now I think at least liberal women should not be able to hold office,” Coulter said. “Every time you try to have a discussion with them, they become hysterical, they cry, and they want to show pictures of dead children. As if our position is 'we don’t mind a few dead children.' Our position is ‘concealed carry’ would stop these slaughters.”

Coulter has been consistently outspoken on the issue of guns and control in America.

In January, Coulter was criticized for saying gun crime was a "demographic" problem. Also in January, Coulter argued that public records of gun permit holders should not be made available. She then suggested records of women who've had abortion be revealed.

"Why can't we get a record of women who have had abortions?" Coulter asked Hannity at the time. "They get money from Planned Parenthood; they get money from Medicare and Medicaid, much of these are tax subsidies. I think mothers might want to know what other women on their street might be willing to murder a child."

Mike Frey #fundie huffingtonpost.com

A Minnesota resident speaking before the House Civil Law Committee offered a shockingly inaccurate testimony in an attempt to thwart the approval of same-sex marriage in the state.

Mike Frey, a "concerned" father and husband, spoke in front of the committee on Tuesday and cited Minnesota's sodomy law, struck down in 2001, which defined sodomy as both anal and oral sex. He attempted to argue that gay sex poses a danger to citizens of the state because it results in the spread of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

He claimed that heterosexual sex could be safer because the vagina has a "barrier of cellular tissue that doesn't allow the sperm ... to penetrate the blood flow," but anal sex doesn't have such protections.

"When ejaculation occurs inside of a colon, it's highly absorbent material, the cells do not have a barrier for the sperm and those enzymes to enter into the blood flow," Frey said. "When the enzymes enter into the blood flow, and a continued, prolonged environment of that happens, these enzymes in the blood flow, it causes what we know as AIDS."

Frey's discussion of AIDS during a same-sex marriage hearing is striking because AIDS affects people of all genders, races and sexual orientations. The information shared by Frey is not only homophobic, it is also misleading.

I have yet to meet an atheist who wasn't in reality angry at God. So, who died that made you so angry? A family member? A friend? Reality is reality. God exists just like the air we breath. To deny God is like putting a plastic bag over your head and denying air. Either way, you're dead. The reason you have never met a Christian who would have a condition for denying God, is that the Truth is the Truth. Anything else is a lie.

You have your views, and I have the Truth. Let's leave it at that.

Fabuladico #fundie huffingtonpost.com

[I disagree, it is not that "no proof is sufficient" it is that there is absolutely "no proof." If God showed up and started doing miracles, atheists would go, "huh, well, guess I was wrong about God." ]

He did, about two thousand years ago. He showed up and performed many miracles. They crucified him. It would be no different today. Those who are so egotistical as to be unable to accept a being superior to themselves would find "logical explanations" for every miracle, while plotting to destroy him. "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." Romans 1:22

Fabuladico #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Ah! Another egotistical atheist! A person who believes in worship of self! There are a lot of things I believe based on historical accounts. I believe that Julius Caesar once ruled Rome (but where is his tomb?) I believe Alexander once conquered the known world. (proof?) I believe that the battle of Marathon took place. (where are the graves?) I believe that there once was an island called Kakatoa which self destructed. (anybody out there a witness to that?) I believe that the battle of Concord and Lexington took place (any proof besides eyewitness testimony?
God's existence does not rely on faith. Not yours, not mine. If you choose to ignore the truth, that's entirely up to you. It matters not.

I've seen more in reality than you can fathom. And if people actually just kept it in their "bedrooms" and didn't spread their bile through open mouths into the eyes of others there would be no controversy over "gay rights." And what matters to myself and millions of others is the degrading of American society in general, including apparently, some one like you who can't see their own misfortune as contrary to natures more perfect plan for humanity. You feel sad for me? That would just be funny if it weren't so sad.

Actually, if you did know me you wouldn't feel the way you do. Everyone, including you, has a side that doesn't display their pathology, be it the same or different from yours. There's more, but likely someone will flag this comment, too. Although there's no hate or bias involved.

Mount Hagen mob #fundie huffingtonpost.com

A young mother was burned alive in Papua New Guinea this week after townspeople accused her of being a witch.

According to multiple reports, Kepari Leniata, 20, was tortured and killed in front of a mob of hundreds in the town of Mount Hagen. The woman, stripped naked and covered in gasoline, was burned alive on a pile of trash by relatives of a young boy who had died earlier in the week. The relatives had accused Leniata of killing him with sorcery.

Police and firefighters who tried to save Leniata were chased away by an overwhelming crowd. Agence France-Press writes that the woman "admitted to killing the boy, who died after being [hospitalized] with stomach and chest pains on Tuesday."

According to the BBC, police chief Supt Kaiglo Ambane told local media that those responsible for Leniata's murder would be brought to justice.

The U.S. Embassy and Australia's high commissioner have condemned the murder. In a statement featured in a report by the Australian Associated Press, Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O'Neill said that "no one commits such a despicable act."

"Barbaric killings connected with alleged sorcery. Violence against women because of this belief that sorcery kills," O'Neill said, according to the AAP. "These are becoming all too common in certain parts of the country. It is reprehensible that women, the old and the weak in our society should be targeted for alleged sorcery or wrongs that they actually have nothing to do with."

AFP notes that many people in the island nation believe in sorcery rather than accept natural causes of death. While the 1971 Sorcery Act technically outlaws the burning of alleged witches, the practice persists. In 2009, another woman was burned alive for alleged sorcery, the news outlet points out.

New video has surfaced of the Arkansas Republican state senator who sponsored the state's new abortion-ban bill making racially charged remarks about President Barack Obama at a 2011 Tea Party rally.

State Sen. Jeffrey Rapart (R-Conway) told rally participants that they should not allow "minorities to run roughshod over what you people believe in," The Nation reports.

A minute-and-a-half segment of the video surfaced on The Nation website a day after the Arkansas Senate passed legislation, sponsored by Rapart, that would ban abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.

Rapart did not respond to calls requesting comment.

In the video, Rapart criticizes Obama for inviting Muslim leaders to the White House for a Ramadan dinner and then not attending the National Prayer Breakfast. He questions "what [Obama] stands for" then directly criticizes Obama.

"I hear you loud and clear, Barack Obama," Rapart says. "You don't represent the country that I grew up with. And your values is not going to save us. We're going to take this country back for the Lord. We're going to try to take this country back for conservatism. And we're not going to allow minorities to run roughshod over what you people believe in."

Rapart was first elected to the state Senate in 2010 and is one of the more conservative senators in the state. A financial planner, he helped organize an evangelical humanitarian group. The chairman of the Senate Insurance and Commerce Committee, Rapart is co-sponsoring legislation in the Senate that would allow people to carry guns into church services.

The report of Rapart's comments in 2011 follow a series of racially charged comments from Republicans in the state during the 2012 election season. Last year, then-state Reps. Jon Hubbard (R-Jonesboro) and Loy Mauch (R-Bismarck) came under fire for a series of past writings that endorsed slavery; Hubbard wrote a book published in 2010 that said slavery had been a "blessing" for blacks. Neither was reelected.

Coat flying open, reins in hand, Kim Jong Il is depicted astride a galloping horse in a larger-than-life statue unveiled as part of birthday celebrations for the late North Korean leader.

The statue is the first bronze casting of Kim, who during his lifetime shunned proposals to erect a bronze like the massive statue of his father, North Korea founder Kim Il Sung, that towers over downtown Pyongyang. Kim Jong Il, who would have turned 70 on Thursday, died of a heart attack in December.

[...]

Kim Jong Il postage stamps, commemorative coins and gold medals have been rushed into production in the weeks before the birthday newly dubbed "Day of the Shining Star." Slogans have been carved on mountainsides in honor of his birthday, and a song has been composed in his honor.

State media have reported a series of supernatural events: Mountains glow crimson, double rainbows, a family of bears weeps by the side of a road, hundreds of shrieking magpies hover over mourning sites. Kim Jong Il has also been given the title of "Generalissimo," a name his father shares, North Korea announced Wednesday.

"Having Kim Jong Un's father and grandfather portrayed as gods is important for a regime based on hereditary rule," said Peter Beck, a Korea specialist and The Asia Foundation's representative in Seoul, South Korea. "Legitimacy comes from his forefathers. Kim Jong Un's father and grandfather may be dead, but he embodies their essence."

Calling himself the "inheritor" of his father's cause, Kim Jong Il was said to have avoided the kind of veneration he ordered for Kim Il Sung, even as he ruled North Korea with an iron fist.

[...]

North Korea's ceremonial head of state, President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Kim Yong Nam, praised Kim Jong Il for "applying his unique 'military first' policy to turn our country into an invincible one that can never be defeated and has a nuclear deterrent in the face of the deadly pressing offensive of imperialists."

Kim Jong Un provided detailed instructions on creating the "perfect image" of Kim Jong Il and helped with a rough draft of the statue, Kim Yong Nam said.

[...]

The unveiling of the statue is the marquee event of birthday commemorations in a nation that remains in a semiofficial state of mourning for the man often referred to as "our fatherly general."

A Republican lawmaker in New Mexico introduced a bill on Wednesday that would legally require victims of rape to carry their pregnancies to term in order to use the fetus as evidence for a sexual assault trial.

House Bill 206, introduced by state Rep. Cathrynn Brown (R), would charge a rape victim who ended her pregnancy with a third-degree felony for "tampering with evidence."

“Tampering with evidence shall include procuring or facilitating an abortion, or compelling or coercing another to obtain an abortion, of a fetus that is the result of criminal sexual penetration or incest with the intent to destroy evidence of the crime," the bill says.

RIP little Angels. Something just came to mind that is so insightful I wanted to share it. When I first heard Freddie Mercury's song (Queen), Bohemian Rhapsody, I found it riveting and mesmerizing. I loved it and I'm sure everyone who has ever heard it agrees. But if you listen to the lyrics, it's about putting a gun to someone's head and pulling the trigger. I don't know why but I connected this song to gun violence in our youth, in that he has a cult following. Another song is "Another One Bites the Dust". If you look into Freddie Mercury's background, he is of Middle Eastern descent. Could he have intentionally written this song to kill as many Americans as possible, for eternity? It may be too late, the verses are etched in stone forever and it will sit in the back of every gun owner's mind, just simmering until the right conditions bring it to life. JIHAD wins again. Freddie Mercury rules from the grave. We are doomed for eternity.

How did you know that there are plenty of religious people in prison ? How, by statistics ? Statistics do not and can not possibly know, because NO ONE can be inside one's head to know what one truly believes or what one lies about. Just because a prisoner opens the bible for the first time, just probably to show up to get early parole does not mean he believes the book he is staring at. You can only define a man best thru his deeds, not what he says or said. Evil deeds are done by evil people.

Victoria Jackson #fundie huffingtonpost.com

"The Todd Akin thing was so blown out of proportion -- it's a joke," [Victoria] Jackson said at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., when interviewed for my SiriusXM OutQ radio program. "How many times do people get pregnant from rape? It's point zero zero one percent. It's a joke. I read lots of articles. I know people, because I'm 53. I've know a lot of people, and I've actually never known anyone who got pregnant from being raped."

"And guess what?" she continued. "If I got raped, I would have the baby. And if I didn't want to keep it because I had these [mocking tone] horrible nightmares, I would adopt it out. But I think that God can turn a bad thing into a good thing. And that, if I got raped and a beautiful baby who was innocent was born out of it, that would be a blessing. The DNA of a baby is individual. It's not the mother's DNA. It's not the father's DNA. And that's why I believe abortion is murder, because it's not the woman's body. It has it's own DNA. If there's a boy baby inside of me, he has a penis. That's not my body."

In response to Gay Voices blogger Dan Steadman's post, in which he wrote about ending his friendships with both Jackson and Kirk Cameron because of their views on homosexuality, Jackson discussed her gay friends.

"I didn't see [the post] but I love my gay friends," she said. "My best friends who are gay, I've actually never seen them with a boyfriend. It's like -- we've never talked about sex. I don't think people should identify themselves by their sexual life. My identity is in Christ. Some people's identity is in what country they come from. But I don't think people should make their identity about their sex life. That should be private. Why are they in the middle of the street in a parade? Why don't they just have sex in their bedroom alone?"

Rush Limbaugh #conspiracy#wingnut huffingtonpost.com

Rush Limbaugh had a typically unique take on the threat of Tropical Storm Isaac during his Monday show, appearing to suggest that the Obama administration had tampered with the forecasts of the storm to hurt the Republicans.

The tropical storm is threatening to turn into a hurricane just as it hits New Orleans, bringing up grim memories of Hurricane Katrina and making the GOP worry about how its convention in Tampa will be affected. Monday's proceedings already had to be canceled.

To hear Limbaugh tell it, though, that was the point. "With none of this am I alleging conspiracy," he said on Monday. It sure sounded like he was alleging one, though.

He went on to note that the Hurricane Center that monitors such things is "the regime," as he put it. "It's the government. It's Obama."

Limbaugh said that he grew suspicious because he noticed that the forecast for Isaac had shifted dramatically away from Florida soon after the Republicans canceled the first day of the convention.

"What could be better for the Democrats than the Republicans to cancel a day of this?" he said. "...I'm alleging no conspiracy. I'm just telling you, folks, when you put this all together in this timeline, I'm telling you, it's unbelievable!"

In World War II, people died to produce and protect books. Anti-Fascist organizations, American Jewish Groups and writers, editors and journalists launched massive demonstrations in defense of the book, including, on March 10, 1933, the largest march, to that date, in the history of New York City: 100,000 people turned out to express outrage at the burning of books and other events in Germany. In its coverage of the Berlin book burnings, Newsweek used "Holocaust" as its headline.

Today's hi-tech propagandists tell us that the book is a tree-murdering, space-devouring, inferior form that society would be better off without. In its place, they want us to carry around the Uber-Kindle.

The hi-tech campaign to relocate books to Google and replace books with Kindles is, in its essence, a deportation of the literary culture to a kind of easily monitored concentration camp of ideas, where every examination of a text leaves behind a trail, a record, so that curiosity is also tinged with a sense of disquieting fear that some day someone in authority will know that one had read a particular book or essay. This death of intellectual privacy was also a dream of the Nazis. And when I hear the term Kindle, I think not of imaginations fired but of crematoria lit.

Bryan Fischer #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association, a conservative Christian group, said that Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) was "absolutely right" to claim that women cannot become pregnant from "legitimate rape."

The host of the talk radio show Focal Point said that the trauma from a “real, genuine rape, a case of forcible rape” would make it "difficult" for a woman to conceive a child, Right Wing Watch notes.

"There's a very delicate and complex mix of hormones that take place -- that are released -- in a woman's body, and if that gets interfered with, it may make it impossible for her or difficult in that particular circumstance to conceive a child," Fischer said during his show Monday.

"That's all Todd Akin is saying...and he's absolutely right about that," he continued.

Akin came under fire this week after he attempted to justify his extreme anti-abortion stance by arguing that "legitimate rape" does not causing pregnancy.

"From what I understand from doctors, that's really rare," Akin said in an interview with KTVI-TV on Sunday. "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. But let's assume maybe that didn't work or something. I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be on the rapist."

According to the New York Times, this is not the first time that this line of reasoning has been used by anti-abortion advocates.

However, leading experts on reproductive health have dismissed this logic as unfounded.

“There are no words for this -- it is just nuts,” said Dr. Michael Greene, a professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive biology at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. David Grimes, a clinical professor in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina, told the New York Times that “to suggest that there’s some biological reason why women couldn’t get pregnant during a rape is absurd.”

A letter to parents this week informed them of the new scanner that will allow the school's nearly 1,000 students to move through the lunch line faster and with fewer payment mistakes -- an issue that had arisen in the past, KPLC-TV reports.

While the letter notes that parents can opt their children out of the program, parent Mamie Sonnier told KPLC-TV that she was angry and disappointed by the program, as the scanner violates her beliefs. She contends that if the scanners actually make it to the school cafeteria, she'll be transferring her kids to another school.

"As a Christian, I've read the Bible, you know go to church and stuff," Sonnier said. "I know where it's going to end up coming to, the mark of the beast. I'm not going to let my kids have that."

According to Lawler, the show was relatively free of politics until the end, when Williams Jr. made the following claims: "We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him!"

The comments were apparently met with applause and loud cheers.

Williams Jr. made waves in October 2011, when he appeared on "Fox and Friends" and likened the president to Hitler.

In a July 2012 interview with Rolling Stone, Williams Jr. doubled down on his particularly blunt brand of criticism of the Obama administration.

Cowger, who is identified by The New Civil Rights Movement as a Pentecostal Christian, slams homosexuality as "a perverted belief, it's immoral and not natural" before noting, "I'm not for bullying homosexuals, I believe that it's wrong. But when you're trying to teach them the word of God and they consider that bullying...I find that a big problem, not being allowed to convert other people to my religion."

Curtis Knapp #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Yet another Christian pastor's anti-gay rant has come to light in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) blogosphere.

As first reported by Good As You's Jeremy Hooper, Curtis Knapp, pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church in Seneca, Kan., appears to call for the death of gays in this disturbing audio.

"They should be put to death -- that's what happened in Israel," Knapp proclaims. "That's why homosexuality wouldn't have grown in Israel."

He continues: "Oh, so you're saying we should go out and start killing them? No, I'm saying the government should. They won't, but they should."

Knapp's declaration follows that of Charles L. Worley, the North Carolina pastor who condemned President Obama's much-publicized endorsement of same-sex marriage while calling for gays and lesbians to be put in an electrified pen and left to die off.

Similarly, the pastor's comments seem in line with statements made by Ron Baity, founding pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, N.C. and head of the anti-marriage equality organization Return America, who told his own congregation that LGBT people should be prosecuted as they were historically, and Pastor Sean Harris of the Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville, N.C. who advocated parents "punch" their male child if he is effeminate and "crack that wrist" if he is limp-wristed.

Likewise, Tim Rabon, pastor at Beacon Baptist Church in Raleigh, N.C., condemned states such as Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maryland which have already "re-defined" marriage to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) couples before asking his congregants, "What is stopping them from refining marriage from a person and a beast? We're not far from that."

The barrage of anti-gay sermons delivered by North Carolina-based pastors to hit the blogosphere continues with yet another disturbing rant caught on tape.

The pastor, identified on YouTube as Charles L. Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, N.C., condemns President Obama's much-publicized endorsement of same-sex marriage while calling for gays and lesbians to be put in an electrified pen and ultimately killed off.

"Build a great, big, large fence -- 150 or 100 mile long -- put all the lesbians in there," Worley suggests in the clip, reportedly filmed on May 13.

He continues: "Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can't get out...and you know what, in a few years, they'll die out...do you know why? They can't reproduce!"

He also said that if he's asked who he'll vote for, he'll reply, "I'm not going to vote for a baby killer and a homosexual lover!" Many of the congregants cheer and reply, "Amen."

Worley added, “It makes me pukin’ sick to think about -- I don’t even whether or not to say this in the pulpit -- can you imagine kissing some man?”

The pastor's comments seem in line with statements made by Ron Baity, founding pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and head of the anti-marriage equality organization Return America, who told his own congregation that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people should be prosecuted as they were historically, and Pastor Sean Harris of the Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville who advocated parents "punch" their male child if he is effeminate and "crack that wrist" if he is limp-wristed.

Mississippi State Rep. Andy Gipson (R) #fundie huffingtonpost.com

The Mississippi state lawmaker who cited a Bible passage on Facebook calling for gay men to be "put to death" has taken to the social networking site again to refuse to apologize for the remark.

Rep. Andy Gipson (R-Braxton) went on Facebook Friday to say that although he has been receiving emails and calls from around the country about his citation of Leviticus 20:13, as well as Romans 1:26-28, in a May 10 Facebook post on President Barack Obama's endorsement of gay marriage, he will not say he's sorry. The emails have come in response to a petition calling on the lawmaker to issue an apology and to meet with LGBT groups in Mississippi.

"To be clear, I want the world to know that I do not, cannot, and will not apologize for the inspired truth of God's Word. It is one thing that will never 'change,'" Gipson wrote. "Anyone who knows me knows I also believe that all people are created in God's image, and that all people are loved by God, so much so that He gave us the truth of His Word which convicts us of the reality and guilt of our sin, and He gave us His Son Jesus who paid the full penalty for all our sins, by His grace through our faith in Him as we repent of our sin. John 3:16. It is this message that I preach every Sunday. I sincerely pray God will reach someone through this message."

Gipson is a Baptist minister and a business lawyer when not serving in the Legislature. He notes in his official state biography that his family are "of the Christian faith, and are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention."

Actually, while I’m not sure about the claims by the various people who have reported that Obama has at least participated at times with them in homosexual acts, this certainly lends some credence
...
The long term goal of the homosexual movement is to get every little boy to grab his ankles and every little girl to give it a try. They will not rest until every one of our children at least gets to try, has the opportunity and maybe is forced to at least once experience homosexual acts.

'Alex' #fundie huffingtonpost.com

One North Carolina resident is making his anti-marriage equality stance clear after posting a rather troubling video on YouTube that's been going viral in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) blogosphere.

The resident, who introduces himself as Alex, notes: "Right now, there's this amendment trying to be passed -- Amendment One -- that's going to state that marriage is going to be between one man and one woman, which is how it ought to be." Noting that he "was just going to have a little talk" about a "Vote Against Amendment One" sign displayed by a neighbor, Alex proceeds to fire two bullets into the sign with his shotgun.

"That's all, folks," he then notes.

[North Carolina Pastor instructs congregants to beat children who act outside of gender norms.]

So your little son starts to act a little girlish when he is four years old and instead of squashing that like a cockroach and saying, 'Man up, son, get that dress off you and get outside and dig a ditch, because that is what boys do,' you get out the camera and you start taking pictures of Johnny acting like a female and then you upload it to YouTube and everybody laughs about it and the next thing you know, this dude, this kid is acting out childhood fantasies that should have been squashed.

Dads, the second you see your son dropping the limp wrist, you walk over there and crack that wrist. Man up. Give him a good punch. Ok? You are not going to act like that. You were made by God to be a male and you are going to be a male. And when your daughter starts acting too butch, you reign her in. And you say, 'Oh, no, sweetheart. You can play sports. Play them to the glory of God. But sometimes you are going to act like a girl and walk like a girl and talk like a girl and smell like a girl and that means you are going to be beautiful. You are going to be attractive. You are going to dress yourself up.'

Pastor of St. Vincent de Paul School #fundie huffingtonpost.com

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indiana teacher who says she was fired from a Roman Catholic school for using in vitro fertilization to try to get pregnant is suing in a case that could set up a legal showdown over reproductive and religious rights.

Emily Herx's lawsuit accuses the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and St. Vincent de Paul school in Fort Wayne of discrimination for her firing last June. Herx, 31, of Hoagland, Ind., says that the church pastor told her she was a "grave, immoral sinner" and that a scandal would erupt if anyone learned she had undergone in vitro fertilization, or IVF.

The Roman Catholic Church shuns IVF, which involves mixing egg and sperm in a laboratory dish and transferring a resulting embryo into the womb. Herx said she was fired despite exemplary performance reviews in her eight years as a language arts teacher.

Legal experts say Herx's case illustrates a murky area in the debate over separation of church and state that even the U.S. Supreme Court has failed to clearly address.

Diocese officials said in a statement issued to The Associated Press on Wednesday that the lawsuit challenges its rights as a religious institution "to make religious based decisions consistent with its religious standards on an impartial basis."

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously in January that religious workers can't sue their employers for job discrimination because anti-discrimination laws allow for a "ministerial exception." But the justices failed to define who was and who wasn't a religious employee.

"The Supreme Court didn't give us a kind of neat little on-off test as to who's a minister and who isn't," said Rick Garnett, associate dean and professor of law at Notre Dame Law School.

In a similar case in Ohio, a federal judge last month gave the go-ahead for a trial in a lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Cincinnati by a parochial school teacher who was fired after she became pregnant through artificial insemination, which the church is also against. The archdiocese fired Christa Dias in 2010, saying the single woman violated church doctrine.

U.S. District Judge Arthur Spiegel said in his March 29 ruling that the ministerial exception did not apply because Dias was a non-Catholic computer teacher with no role in ministering or teaching Catholic doctrine.

Anders Behring Breivik #wingnut huffingtonpost.com

OSLO, Norway — With a defiant closed-fist salute, a right-wing fanatic admitted Monday to a bomb-and-shooting massacre that killed 77 people in Norway but pleaded not guilty to criminal charges, saying he was acting in self-defense.

On the first day of his long-awaited trial, Anders Behring Breivik rejected the authority of the court as it sought to assign responsibility for the July 22 attacks that shocked Norway and jolted the image of terrorism in Europe.

Dressed in a dark suit and sporting a thin beard, Breivik smiled as a guard removed his handcuffs in the crowded court room. The 33-year-old then flashed his salute before shaking hands with prosecutors and court officials.

"I don't recognize Norwegian courts because you get your mandate from the Norwegian political parties who support multiculturalism," Breivik said in his first comments to the court.

Eight people were killed in Breivik's July 22 bombing of Oslo's government district and 69 others were slain in his shooting massacre at the left-leaning Labor Party's youth camp on Utoya island outside the capital. Breivik has said the attacks were necessary to protect Norway from being taken over by Muslims.

"I admit to the acts, but not criminal guilt," he told the court, insisting he had acted in self-defense.

The key issue to be resolved during the 10-week trial is the state of Breivik's mental health, which will decide whether he is sent to prison or into psychiatric care. Anxious to prove he is not insane, Brevik will call right-wing extremists and radical Islamists to testify during the trial, to show that others also share his view of clashing civilizations.

Norway's NRK television was broadcasting parts of the trial live but was not allowed to show Breivik's testimony.

I aint upset about what anybody said. I know in whom I have believed! What I don't like is the monitors bias on what they choose to delete. All I ask is that they level the field. Cant shut me up after someone throw a punch at me! That, is the type of injustice blacks have faced through out Americas history. Now it has turned on Christians! It will only get worse as this wicked world comes to a close. btw: you will never be a Christian because you dont want to obey and follow the truth!

Allen West #conspiracy huffingtonpost.com

WASHINGTON -- As many as 80 House Democrats are communists, according to Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.).

West warned constituents at a Tuesday town hall event that he's "heard" that dozens of his Democratic colleagues in the House are members of the Communist Party, the Palm Beach Post reported. West wouldn't elaborate beyond that, however, and didn't offer up any names. There are currently 190 House Democrats.

A request for comment from West's spokeswoman was not immediately returned.

Michelle Duggar #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Michelle Duggar, star of TLC's reality show, "19 Kids and Counting", says there needs to be more children because our world needs more joy. And as for overpopulation? That's just a lie, Duggar recently told the Christian Broadcasting Network in a web interview. "The idea of overpopulation is not accurate," Duggar says, because the entire population of the world could fit inside of Jacksonville, Florida.

"I agree with Mother Teresa when she said, 'to say that there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers,'" Duggar said.

If you want to teach kids the TRUTH, teach them the most scientific FACTS, that appear in the Bible, when it comes to Creation & for God's sake, ( and our souls' sake ) let's do away with the THEORY of Evolution !

You stupid Evolving People; if you'd ONLY take the time to carefully examine the facts of God's Word, and then compare them to the most advanced discoveries, you would realize that this is TRULY God speaking to us !

ONE EXAMPLE IS: In the Book Of Isaiah, God tells us how His Spirit goes "round & round the world" and this was penned 400 years BEFORE Kopernikus discovered that world was round, and not flat, as most believed at the time, etc.

Dennis Terry #fundie huffingtonpost.com

"I don't care what the liberals say, I don't care what the naysayers say, this nation was founded as a Christian nation...There is only one God and his name is Jesus. I'm tired of people telling me that I can't say those words.. Listen to me, If you don't love America, If you don't like the way we do things I have one thing to say - GET OUT. We don't worship Buddha, we don't worship Mohammad, we don't worship Allah, we worship God, we worship God's son Jesus Christ."

In a revival type speech, Greenwell Springs Baptist Church pastor Rev. Dennis Terry introduced Family Research Council president Tony Perkins and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Christians, according to Rev. Terry, are the conscience of the state and even the key to turning the economy around. The pastor offered some pointed words about abortion, gay marriage, and prayer in schools, shouting about 'sexual perversion' and putting God back in Washington, D.C., as Senator Santorum was seen clapping, if not cheering, in the background.

"Lord's Resistance Army objectives. I have them here. 'To remove dictatorship and stop the oppression of our people.' Now, again Lord's Resistance Army is who Obama sent troops to help nations wipe out. The objectives of the Lord's Resistance Army, what they're trying to accomplish with their military action in these countries is the following: 'To remove dictatorship and stop the oppression of our people; to fight for the immediate restoration of the competitive multiparty democracy in Uganda; to see an end to gross violation of human rights and dignity of Ugandans; to ensure the restoration of peace and security in Uganda, to ensure unity, sovereignty, and economic prosperity beneficial to all Ugandans, and to bring to an end the repressive policy of deliberate marginalization of groups of people who may not agree with the LRA ideology.' Those are the objectives of the group that we are fighting, or who are being fought and we are joining in the effort to remove them from the battlefield."

Joe Arpaio #conspiracy huffingtonpost.com

Arpaio on Thursday unveiled preliminary results of an investigation, conducted by members of his volunteer cold-case posse, into the authenticity of President Barack Obama's birth certificate, a controversy that has been widely debunked but which remains alive in the eyes of some conservatives.

At a news conference, Arpaio said the probe revealed that there was probable cause to believe Obama's long-form birth certificate released by the White House in April is a computer-generated forgery. He also said the selective service card completed by Obama in 1980 in Hawaii also was most likely a forgery.

"We don't know who the perpetrators are of these documents," Arpaio said, although he said he doesn't think the president forged the documents.

Earlier, the 79-year-old Republican sheriff defended his need to spearhead such an investigation after nearly 250 people connected to an Arizona tea party group requested one last summer.

"I'm not going after Obama," said Arpaio, who has criticized the president's administration for cutting off his federal immigration powers and conducting a civil rights investigation of his office. "I'm just doing my job."

Lou Dobbs #conspiracy huffingtonpost.com

Fox Business Network is targeting another children's movie for allegedly brainwashing children with liberal ideas: "Dr Seuss' The Lorax."

The network first slammed "The Muppets" in December. Host Eric Bolling had insisted that the movie, which features an evil oil baron, was part of Hollywood's vendetta against oil companies.

On Tuesday, host Lou Dobbs railed against "The Lorax," along with the Japanese children's film, "The Secret World of Arrietty." "Hollywood is once again trying to indoctrinate our children," he warned. He claimed that the movies were "demonizing the 1% and espousing green energy policies."

Dobbs said "The Lorax" was about "a woodland creature that speaks for the trees and fights rampant industrialism." He replayed a clip of the Lorax demanding to know who chopped down a Truffula Tree.

He compared the movie to the Occupy Wall Street movement, which he said "forever tried to pit the makers against the takers," and President Obama's calls that "everyone should pay their fair share."

"The President's liberal friends in Hollywood targeting a younger demographic using animated movies to sell their agenda to children," he alleged.

His guests, radio hosts Dom Giordano, Matt Patrick and Steve Cochran, agreed.

"What we're doing is creating Occu-toddlers," Patrick said. He directed parents to "buy huge tubs of popcorn, ram it in your face," leave the litter behind and walk out of the movie.
