[On a Cheerios advert with an interracial couple]

So there are no beautiful black mothers for this child in your Cheerios commercials. Amazing how this happens. The Cheerios-buying public may not like having interracial, immigration, integration, or gays shoved down their throats in any way, shape, or form. Another case of the media showing us how the USA should accept all that is being shown to us as "good". (We all know what a wonderful job media has done on the younger population in the USA by pushing all the filth and trash they can on tv and in movies. All the filth is made to look normal, but the reality is, it's not normal.) My option is, of course, not to watch any of this junk and I don't, and to not buy from the advertisers, and I don't.
Being PC is old now, and I want to be able to decide if I want to see gays, interracial, immigration, integration on my tv, and I still think I can decide for myself who or what I like. I can also decide what products are pushing my likes and dislikes. By the way we won't be shoving Cheerios down our throats either. Be aware that Cheerios is not the only company pushing this stuff and it's not the only company that I will not purchase their products.

An Open Letter To Gay, White Men: No, You’re Not Allowed To Have A Racial Preference

Dear Gay White Men,

Before I begin, I want you to understand that I’m not calling all of you racist. I’ve never been one to throw that word around casually and even though I’m sure there are some that word would fit like a glove, I’m not talking to them. I’m talking to you ? the cisgendered, white, gay men out there who hold no ill will towards minorities (especially black and brown ones) but somehow have never found themselves in bed with one. You’re good guys, I know this to be true. You mean well when it comes to race relations but, as a white man in... the world, you must admit, you have no clue what it means to be racially discriminated against. As a result, there are often times when you don’t recognize when your behavior towards people of color veers into problematic territory. As a black man within the gay community, I recognize that shit all the time and have a few points I’d like to discuss with you. I’m not here to judge you. There’s only one capital H-i-m and it’s not me. But you may want to take my words to heart if you’d like to live up to those progressive memes you share on Facebook all the time.

Let’s start with the epicenter of your problematic behaviors towards my kind: your dating app profile. I know it can be hard to find the right words while expressing your preferences when it comes to what you’re looking for in a partner. Whether you’re looking for “Mr. Right” or “Mr. Yea Daddy Right There” but I can’t help but notice that a lot of you get lost, like... really lost, when it comes to stating your preferences properly. To be clear, you’re allowed to describe the kind of guy you’re looking for and the things that turn you on but specifying the race of your desired partner is a line that is not to be crossed. It comes off as racist and that’s because it is.

I should point out that I’ve had this conversation with more than a couple of white gays in person and here is where the debate usually begins, so I’m going to assume that you’re rolling your eyes at me right about now. That’s fine and to make you feel more heard I’ll even repeat the most common point used to counter my argument ? “but people like what they like. Can’t change that.” I’ve heard that excuse, or some iteration of it, used many times. Almost as if it’s a magic phrase that just kind of ends the conversation and absolves you of your bullshit. I’ll put aside the fact that broadcasting your distaste for an entire race, or multiple races, in the year 2017 is really dumb in addition to being racist as fuck, and just challenge the reasoning here head on. Yes, people like what they like but sometimes the things people like are racist, like lawn jockeys or the current president of the United States. You can’t say you prefer one race of people as romantic partners, or anything really, to another because all of the people who belong to one race are not the same. No matter how you slice it, it’s racist.

But what if Black and Asian men choose to only date other Black and Asian men? Isn’t that racist too? No... and you tried it. Look, all men are created equal but all men are not valued equally, especially in this country. Every Black and Asian man who grew up on this planet grew up surrounded by positive images of whiteness and white men. Therefore, our desire to date within our own race, when we choose to, is not rooted in any assertion made by society that we’re better than anyone else. I know this is a lot to digest so I’ll just boil it down to this: if your preference for a partner supports an existing racial hierarchy which marginalizes minorities, then your preferences are racist. And yes, that includes you rice queens and chocolate chasers too. Fetishizing me is not a compliment, it’s propping up harmful sexual stereotypes and, it too, is racist.

As I’ve said before, I have had this conversation many times so I know what comes next. You’re saying to yourself “Damn! If I don’t go for men of color I’m racist. If I do, I’m racist.” Well... yes! If you’re making any of your dating decisions with a person’s race in mind, that’s racist. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying you have to find all Black and Asian men attractive. I sure as hell don’t. What I’m saying is that men of color are still men, and as such, we want the people making decisions about our desirability to make them based on who and what we are and that doesn’t begin and end with a few layers of melanin.

“Fine, I’m a horrible racist asshole. What do I do about it? I can’t re-program myself to find men of color more attractive,” some of you might be saying. Actually, you can. As you know, the brain is the largest sexual organ in your body and it’s capable of amazing growth. Think of it like learning a new language, better still, think of it like unlearning a racist one. In social psychology there is a theory called The Mere-Exposure Effect. Simply put, the more we are exposed to someone, the more attractive they become to us. See? There’s hope for you after all! You can decide how best to “expose” yourself however you want but please, for the good of us POC who have to share this community with you, get to work. As gay men of color we get more than enough discrimination from the rest of the world. We don’t need the friendly fire from you.

"Lord's Resistance Army objectives. I have them here. 'To remove dictatorship and stop the oppression of our people.' Now, again Lord's Resistance Army is who Obama sent troops to help nations wipe out. The objectives of the Lord's Resistance Army, what they're trying to accomplish with their military action in these countries is the following: 'To remove dictatorship and stop the oppression of our people; to fight for the immediate restoration of the competitive multiparty democracy in Uganda; to see an end to gross violation of human rights and dignity of Ugandans; to ensure the restoration of peace and security in Uganda, to ensure unity, sovereignty, and economic prosperity beneficial to all Ugandans, and to bring to an end the repressive policy of deliberate marginalization of groups of people who may not agree with the LRA ideology.' Those are the objectives of the group that we are fighting, or who are being fought and we are joining in the effort to remove them from the battlefield."

Now, usually I associate the United States with being a positive influence on Africa ... you associate the United States with sending missionaries to Africa ... Instead what we have is the secretary of state going to Africa and educating Ugandans or saying he is going to send American scientists to Uganda to explain how normal homosexuality is. I mean, think about that. I mean, what must God think of our country? ... If now, rather than sending people to Uganda to explain better agricultural techniques ... we send scientists to Africa to say how wonderful the homosexual lifestyle is. It is just unbelievable what has become of our country.

Jessica Black #racist huffingtonpost.com

A Virginia mother let her 7-year-old son wear a Ku Klux Klan costume this Halloween because, she insisted, it's a family tradition.

Jessica Black of Craigsville, Va., let her son, Jackson, dress as a Klansman with a floor-length white robe and full-faced white hood, according to local ABC affiliate WHSV. The outfit garnered media attention after a photo of the boy dressed in the KKK regalia was posted to the WHSV Facebook page. When Black was confronted by the news network, she defended her decision.

"My brother has [worn it] when he was in Kindergarten and when he was 13," Black said. She went on to claim there is nothing wrong with the costume or with the White Supremacist group, which she says still exists in their Virginia town. "It's supposed to be white with white, black with black, man with woman and all of that. That's what the KKK stands for."

Jennette Hall #fundie huffingtonpost.com

A mother in Michigan took to Facebook last week to express her outrage over a 10th-grade school assignment that she felt promoted Islam.

In an initial post, Jennette Hall complained about a Jenison High School assignment that asked students to make a pamphlet about Islam. The post, which had been shared over 5,400 times as of Tuesday morning, said students were told the pamphlet would be used to "introduce Islam to 3rd graders."

Several days later, Hall clarified in another post that her daughter’s assignment asked her to create a pamphlet about Islam geared towards third-graders, but that students were not actually expected to hand the materials out to younger children.

“This assignment upset me because they are presenting Allah as the same God of the Christians and Jews. This paper, in my opinion, is promoting Islam by describing Allahs names as 'beautiful'. To me this is not simply factual like it should be,” Hall wrote about the assignment.

The school's principal, Brandon Graham, responded in his own Facebook post over the weekend, saying he wanted to correct "inaccurate information" about the assignment.

“While our high schoolers do study religions, the content is NOT presented to elementary students or used to proselytize in any way,” Graham wrote. “Furthermore, we *do indeed* teach Christianity along with other world religions.”

Graham further explained the assignment in an interview with a local Fox News affiliate.

“The assignment was to cover the five major world religions: The religions included Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam,” Graham said. “In our social studies classes, we certainly study all those religions to learn how a people, group and culture function. It helps us understand culture.”

But on Facebook, Hall noted that she still takes issue with the assignment, even though she has no problem with students studying the five major world religions.

“I was SHOCKED when my daughter showed me the pamphlet that she was required to make promoting Islam in a way 3rd graders could comprehend,” wrote Hall in her latest post. “As a mother who teaches her children that the One True Creator God is the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, it made me sick to my stomach to see my daughter promoting another god (Allah) as the One True Creator on a pamphlet!”

Hall wrote on Facebook that she plans to meet with the school's principal about the issue.

Dear Steve,

I had two citi-student loans and at some point in time within the last 5 years they went to Navient (Sallie Mae)

I recently called to ask if I could get a lower pay-off amount as the original loans were 32K and now they are up to about 64K because of deferment and interest. They said no and I believe these may have been private loans.

My conditions have changed. I was born into Islam, but never knew much about my religion. Since 2012 I have been learning more about my faith and it is strictly forbidden in my faith to have dealings with interest.

I am offering to pay off the original amount I owe however due to religious reasons would like them to recognize that my awareness and conditions have changed from the time of originally accepting the loan with Citi-Student Loan Corp and not even with them at Sallie Mae.

Can I get the interest wiped out and close this account and case with just paying the original amount borrowed?

I am in the Seattle, WA area are there attorneys that you can direct me to that can help?

Kalnins added: "If every Christian will vote righteously, it would be a landslide every time."

Months after hinting at possible damnation for Kerry supporters, Kalnins bristled at the treatment President Bush was receiving over the federal government's handling of Hurricane Katrina. Anders Behring Breivik #fundie huffingtonpost.com

OSLO, Norway — With a defiant closed-fist salute, a right-wing fanatic admitted Monday to a bomb-and-shooting massacre that killed 77 people in Norway but pleaded not guilty to criminal charges, saying he was acting in self-defense.

On the first day of his long-awaited trial, Anders Behring Breivik rejected the authority of the court as it sought to assign responsibility for the July 22 attacks that shocked Norway and jolted the image of terrorism in Europe.

Dressed in a dark suit and sporting a thin beard, Breivik smiled as a guard removed his handcuffs in the crowded court room. The 33-year-old then flashed his salute before shaking hands with prosecutors and court officials.

"I don't recognize Norwegian courts because you get your mandate from the Norwegian political parties who support multiculturalism," Breivik said in his first comments to the court.

Eight people were killed in Breivik's July 22 bombing of Oslo's government district and 69 others were slain in his shooting massacre at the left-leaning Labor Party's youth camp on Utoya island outside the capital. Breivik has said the attacks were necessary to protect Norway from being taken over by Muslims.

"I admit to the acts, but not criminal guilt," he told the court, insisting he had acted in self-defense.

The key issue to be resolved during the 10-week trial is the state of Breivik's mental health, which will decide whether he is sent to prison or into psychiatric care. Anxious to prove he is not insane, Brevik will call right-wing extremists and radical Islamists to testify during the trial, to show that others also share his view of clashing civilizations.

Norway's NRK television was broadcasting parts of the trial live but was not allowed to show Breivik's testimony.

What a great video! It clearly shows the real Sarah Palin before she was in the national spotlight. Thank you so much for linking to it so I can see that her religious beliefs are real and she is a born-again, baptized believer. Of course you clearly misunderstand, misrepresent and mock Christian conservatives who actualy try to live by a set of values and have their beliefs impact how they act rather than just going with the prevailing political winds. I look forward to listening to her pastor's sermons. And I bet I won't hear a single rant about "God d*** America!" in any of them. What a great service you have provided by making me even more excited and motivated to vote for McCain-Palin and to urge all of my brothers and sisters in Christ to do the same!

Pat Robertson is at it again.

No stranger to anti-gay remarks, the conservative televangelist advised one of his "700 Club" viewers to forgive her husband of 11 years after he apparently cheated on her with a male friend he'd met at their church when they were drunk, Right Wing Watch first reported.

"He didn't know what he was dealing with," Robertson told the viewer in the April 27 broadcast. "If he were this way all the time, if he's a habitual drunk, if he's a habitual homosexual, if he's a habitual philanderer and all the rest of it, then by all means, take a hike. But one time, 11 years, don't throw all of that away."

In the same broadcast, Robertson told a concerned mother to "pray that God will straighten out" her teenage lesbian daughter, who recently came out of the closet.

Proclaiming that teen girls don't know what dress they're supposed to wear, "much less what kind of sex" they are supposed to be, he suggested, "Maybe get her in a camp, a Christian camp in the summer where they are really on fire for the Lord."

American Family Association #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Fundamentalist Christian group American Family Association is urging members not to accept any mail postmarked with the U.S. Postal Service’s newly released Harvey Milk stamp, the first U.S. stamp to feature an openly gay elected official.

“Honoring predator Harvey Milk on a U.S. postage stamp is disturbing to say the least. Harvey Milk was a very disreputable man and used his charm and power to prey on young boys with emotional problems and drug addiction,” an AFA press release said Wednesday. “He is the last person we should be featuring on a stamp.”

As one of the first openly gay elected officials in the United States, Milk’s efforts to advance LGBT rights earned him the Medal of Freedom posthumously from President Barack Obama in 2009. The 2008 Academy Award-winning biopic "Milk” was also inspired by the icon.

The AFA, however, viewed the historic commemorative stamp as a way for “the radical homosexual lobby” to “undoubtedly encourage businesses to use these stamps -- all in the name of inclusiveness, political correctness and diversity.”

“This is not diversity; this is perversity,” the release concluded.

The AFA, which has been listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center since 2010, advised anyone who receives mail with a Harvey Milk stamp to take the following actions:

1. Refuse to accept the Harvey Milk stamp if offered by your local post office. Instead, ask for a stamp of the United States flag.
2. Refuse to accept mail at your home or business if it is postmarked with the Harvey Milk stamp. Simply write "Return to Sender" on the envelope and tell your postman you won't accept it.

An anti-gay church in New York City’s Harlem neighborhood greeted passersby with a horrifying, homophobic message: “Jesus would stone homos.”

ATLAH Worldwide Missionary, led by Pastor James David Manning, posted the message on a sign outside its 123rd Street location. “Jesus would stone homos,” the message read, along with “Stoning is still the law” and Bible verses Matthew 5:17-19, Deuteronomy 17:5-7, Leviticus 20:13 and John 8:1-11.

The Leviticus passage, which is often cited in anti-gay rhetoric, says: “If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”

Hitler, did support prayer BUT prayer to the PARTY, not God, as he planned to replace the idea of religion with the worship of the Party. Hitler did rebuild the Military, as part of the Government work program to provide jobs and lower unemployment. I also notice Obama has NOT cut the Military and now even wants to attack Syria which much like Poland has done NOTHING to warrant such and attack. The Nazi party was full of Homosexuals, many were killed in the Night of the Long knives, but they were active party members, and not ALL were sent to Camps, just those that questioned Hitler. Hitler took rights from all that opposed him not just those more to his left, just like you Democrats are trying to do now, with talk radio and Fox News.

Sen. Elbert Guillory #fundie huffingtonpost.com

A Louisiana state senator recently offered a puzzling rationale for why schools in the state should be allowed to teach creationism.

Last month, Louisiana lawmakers considered a measure to repeal the Louisiana Science Education Act, a 2008 law that critics have characterized as a way of giving teachers latitude to introduce creationism and other unscientific theories into state classrooms.

In an April 22 hearing, state Sen. Elbert Guillory (R) made it clear that he would vote against the measure, SB 74. In footage uploaded to YouTube last week, he can be seen using a bizarre tactic to support his argument -- namely, citing a nonexistent version of history where scientific truth reigned supreme and dissent invited brutal consequences.

“There was a time, sir, when scientists thought that the world was flat. And if you get to the end of it, you’d fall off," Guillory said. "There was another time when scientists thought that the sun revolved around the world. And they always thought to ensure that anyone who disagreed with their science was a heretic. People were burned for not believing that the world was flat. People were really badly treated."

...

SB 74 did indeed eventually fail, likely preserving the LSEA for at least another year.

Guillory has attracted criticism in the past for strange defenses of what should and shouldn't be taught in science class. A few years back, he appeared to express concern that repealing the LSEA would mean that the teachings of a witch doctor he had met -- a man who “wore no shoes, was semi-clothed, [and] used a lot of bones that he threw around” -- would be off-limits.

Efforts to repeal the LSEA have failed five years in a row, with no legislation even making it out of the state Senate Committee on Education, despite support from 78 Nobel laureates. In light of that, Kopplin told The Huffington Post that he's no longer fazed by comments like Guillory's.

"In 2013, Senator Guillory insisted on keeping creationism in science class because of an experience he had with a witch doctor," Kopplin wrote in an email to HuffPost on Monday. "It's no surprise that he has a strong disrespect for historical fact either."

If I was to snap my fingers and have all the human bodies just disappear only to leave what is inside, you would be horrified at some of the 'beings' that are taking residents in those people. They are the spirits that God cursed to 'roam the earth'..the fallen angels that Genesis has written about..that 'come to earth and interbred with the human women'.

This also connects to those people that have claimed for many years that their are 'other beings' other than what is here on earth. They don't seem so 'weird' now do they?? Even the government is close to disclosing this information and just went before congress to have it opened up to the people!!

What I am trying to say here is that EVERY act that is committed against God takes another soul into bondage and unless they call out to be freed by God, they will be lost. Just look at the world today and tell me that there is nothing going on out there..that you haven't said 'what is wrong with the people out there'.

Next Time someone commits an horrendous act like the guy found 'eating someone's face off' and says that voices told him to do it, don't be so sure that he is lying or believe that he was on 'drugs'. There is sooooooo much that people aren't aware of and that is what is keeping them in chains

Rush Limbaugh #conspiracy#wingnut huffingtonpost.com

Rush Limbaugh had a typically unique take on the threat of Tropical Storm Isaac during his Monday show, appearing to suggest that the Obama administration had tampered with the forecasts of the storm to hurt the Republicans.

The tropical storm is threatening to turn into a hurricane just as it hits New Orleans, bringing up grim memories of Hurricane Katrina and making the GOP worry about how its convention in Tampa will be affected. Monday's proceedings already had to be canceled.

To hear Limbaugh tell it, though, that was the point. "With none of this am I alleging conspiracy," he said on Monday. It sure sounded like he was alleging one, though.

He went on to note that the Hurricane Center that monitors such things is "the regime," as he put it. "It's the government. It's Obama."

Limbaugh said that he grew suspicious because he noticed that the forecast for Isaac had shifted dramatically away from Florida soon after the Republicans canceled the first day of the convention.

"What could be better for the Democrats than the Republicans to cancel a day of this?" he said. "...I'm alleging no conspiracy. I'm just telling you, folks, when you put this all together in this timeline, I'm telling you, it's unbelievable!"

As you may have heard, Wilbur Cerate, a Virginia man, claims that last month, two People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals staffers turned up at his home when he wasn't there, loaded his daughter's Chihuahua, Maya, into a van, and then euthanized her.

Three days later -- this is the real kicker -- the PETA workers are said to have then brought the grieving family a fruit basket.

Parts of this were caught on surveillance video.

Accomack County Sheriff Todd Godwin told WAVY -- the first local news outlet to pursue this bizarre, sad story -- he charged the dog-nappers with larceny, only to see the charges dropped by the Commonwealth Attorney because, as the paper put it, "there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute."

On Wednesday, DELMARVA Now got the names of those who were charged: Victoria Jean Carey, who appears to do HR for the group, and Jennifer Lisa Woods, another longtime PETA staffer who seems to have been quoted in a 1997 article advocating for the "compassionate" euthanasia of homeless cats. (Sure, that was nearly 20 years ago -- but PETA still has a web page up entitled "Euthanasia: The Compassionate Option.")

Godwin told the paper that "both individuals were working on behalf of the PETA Community Assistance Program when the theft occurred."

Oklahoma State Rep. Todd Russ #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Republican state legislators in Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, and both Carolinas (South Carolina was first!) have this year proposed various bills that would give government officials who perform civil marriage ceremonies and/or issue marriage licenses and other related documents the ability to refuse same-sex couples if it would violate a "sincerely held religious belief."

Additionally, Oklahoma State Rep. Todd Russ proposed to take civil officials out of the marriage business altogether and force prospective couples to be married by "an ordained or authorized preacher or minister of the Gospel, priest or other ecclesiastical dignitary of any denomination who has been duly ordained or authorized by the church to which he or she belongs to preach the Gospel, or a rabbi." Not a Christian or a Jew? Out of luck, apparently, although Rep. Russ says anyone else who wants to get married can "fil[e] an affidavit of common law marriage with the court clerk." Small problem: The state of Oklahoma doesn't recognize common-law marriages, although courts have recognized some on a case-by-case basis. I'm sure Hindu and atheist couples will be just fine with that.

The atheist worship at the altar of their rational thinking and the religious worship at the altar of a God made in their image both are demostrating positive ignorance. they think they know but know little.

Look at the history of rational thinking often referred to as social darwism and find out how destructive rational thinking can be when love is left out and replaced by rational thinking.

Capitalism and commnism were due to rational thinking and look how well these two economic idealogies have worked out for humankind.

Most wars are fought over rational thinking and religious beliefs.

The Interesting little FACT is that creationism and science do NOT contradict themselves at all, as liberals would have us believe. Only when so called scientific THEORIES are thrown into the mix do we have a conflict.
Question: So why are do Evolutionist hate creationism?
Answer: It comes down to MORALITY.... If there is a Creator and we have been created then we are accountable to a set of rules by our Creator. But if we can take the Creator out of the picture then we can make up the rules. So at the end of the day, it comes down to MORALITY.

"Atheists are the most illogical people on the planet. They say there is no God yet they always try and fight him so hard with nonsense like this?

They say the Lord Jesus Christ is a myth yet he is a historical figure recorded in Jewish antiquity and Roman records? Thousands of witnesses recorded in scripture have seen him and Jesus apostles who are recorded figures in history as well has SEEN HIM RAISED FROM THE DEAD [Even after forsaking him when he was captured and hiding from the world yet months later the same followers of Jesus who abandoned him BOLDLY WENT BACK AND PREACHED JESUS IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD IN THE FACE OF DEATH]!

And how ironic for them to say that Satan is a myth when the Atheist serve him and don't even know it. These same people who say Satan doesn't exist are the same ones that say "there is no evil" or moral absolutes. [Yeah we know these are outright lies; the Devil is a liar]" Have they heard of Hitler? Stalin? Sung? Genocide going on in the world today? Slavery is bigger than it's ever been in HISTORY thanks to human sex trafficking.

Where in the world do you think OUR sinful/evil nature came from? There can be no temptation without a tempter, no effect without cause. This all came from Satan, why? because he was the first to sin from the beggining (sic)."

Pastor Jim Garlow #fundie huffingtonpost.com

A pastor at a California-based evangelical church offered up a bizarre suggestion for same-sex marriage supporters in a recent broadcast.

As Right Wing Watch first reported, Skyline Church Pastor Jim Garlow suggested that same-sex marriage supporters should relocate to homes with improper plumbing in a "Point Of View" radio program discussion, in which he also spoke about his participation in a recent Vatican summit.

"All the people who advocate for so-called same-sex marriage ought to have to live in homes in which the plumbers who built them, or the electricians who built them, didn't understand the difference between the male and female end of piping or plumbing or of electrical as well, and see how that works for them," he said.

He then added, "It doesn't work."

The comments are perhaps less surprising given Garlow's history. In 2013, he told the Christian Broadcasting Network that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) couples don't actually have "much interest in marriage."

"There isn’t that much interest in commitment and monogamy," Garlow, who was reportedly instrumental in organizing conservative religious groups to support California's Proposition 8, declared. "It isn’t there ... It’s attempting to force us to affirm a lifestyle."

Previously, he attacked President Barack Obama's policies on healthcare and marriage equality, and predicted that abortion clinics will become "killing center" museums that people will tour in a fashion similar to modern-day tours of Nazi concentration camps, reports Raw Story.

Earlier this year, he suggested that comedian Joan Rivers, who died in September, would go to hell because of her "potty mouth."

Pat Robertson #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Never mind China’s stock market crash. Televangelist Pat Robertson proclaimed Monday that the massive Dow drop is actually divine retribution for the U.S. government supporting abortion access and funding Planned Parenthood.

"Here in America, we have been complicit in terminating the lives of in excess of 50 million precious unborn children, and don't you think almighty God is going to hold us accountable for that?" the "700 Club" host asked after airing a report on Planned Parenthood demonstrations. "It's coming ladies and gentleman. We just have a little taste of it in terms of the financial system, but it's going to get shaken to its core in the next few months, years or however long it takes, and it will hurt every one of us."

Maybe this discovery will finally open everyone's eyes and make it clear that our supposed "evolution" has not happened like they say, that we haven't gradually evolved from the "caveman era" to today in a straight line. The archaeological and geological records have far too many gaps and inconsisntencies, and there are known facts that overthrow the theory of "linear evolution" with our current civilization the pinnacle of human development.

It's clear that some ancient civilizations were just as advanced as ours, if not more so. They were wiped out by shifts in the Earth's magnetic poles, a rather natural occurence that happens regularly every few thousand years. Guess when the next pole shift is due...??!!!

Donald Trump #fundie huffingtonpost.com

President Donald Trump, one of the richest men in America, wants you to believe he can empathize with federal employees who are struggling to make ends meet as the partial government shutdown heads into a third week.
The shutdown, already one of the longest in U.S. history, has left an estimated 800,000 federal workers either furloughed or, if deemed essential, working without pay.
“Mr. President, can you relate to the pain of federal workers who can’t pay their bills?” a reporter asked Trump outside the White House on Sunday.
“I can relate,” the president responded. “And I’m sure that the people that are toward the receiving end will make adjustments, they always do. And they’ll make adjustments. People understand exactly what’s going on.”
“Many of those people that won’t be receiving a paycheck, many of those people agree 100 percent with what I’m doing,” he added, without evidence.

I actually never heard anything saying they bullied him. I heard they taped his sex act and aired it bt never heard they threaten him for being gay. Unless i read the wrong mainstream pro gay liberal newspaper.

But of course I notice the huffington post gay and lesbian crowed is now taking the sick prank of these kids of video taping and airing the sex tape as some kind of attack on Christian Moral values and the teaching of homosexualtiy in Christianity.

Which is truly a far jump. Neither of these college students did this prank due to any Church or christian teaching.

This is just part of the gay agenda trying to bully people in promoting homosexuality in public

British influence in the world has, in contrast, gone off a cliff over the last century. And while there are many factors in this decline, I would argue that the new, militant atheism that is becoming characteristic of Britain is a key reason. Atheism is a philosophy of nihilism in which nothing is sacred and all is an accident. While it has some brief, flashy moments, life is purposeless and meaningless. There is no soul to illuminate and no spirit to enliven -- just dead, decadent flesh. Human love is a prank played by our genes ensuring the sexual propagation of the species, and poetry and faith are shallow distractions masking the inevitability of our certain demise. Men are insemination machines incapable of ever being truly faithful and women are genetically programmed to seek out billionaire hedge-fund managers, so much the better to support their offspring.

This decline of faith and optimism may account for why Britain -- once the most advanced nation on earth, which gave the world parliamentary democracy and its inimitable centers of higher learning -- is today more famous for exporting reality shows like Big Brother and Project Catwalk. For while religion affirms the infinite dignity of the human person, its absence robs life of its sanctity. Exploitation for fame and humiliation and cash are the inevitable outgrowth.

Ann Coulter #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Liberal women are too fragile and too easily offended to hold political office -- that's the latest pronouncement from ultra-controversial pundit Ann Coulter, who made the comments during an appearance on conservative host Sean Hannity's Fox News program Thursday.

Hannity and Coulter's discussion centered around the heated gun control legislation exchange that took place Thursday between Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).

After Cruz quoted portions of the Bill of Rights to Feinstein, the senior senator snapped back, saying she's "not a sixth grader."

[...]

“I used to think women just should not be able to vote. Now I think at least liberal women should not be able to hold office,” Coulter said. “Every time you try to have a discussion with them, they become hysterical, they cry, and they want to show pictures of dead children. As if our position is 'we don’t mind a few dead children.' Our position is ‘concealed carry’ would stop these slaughters.”

Coulter has been consistently outspoken on the issue of guns and control in America.

In January, Coulter was criticized for saying gun crime was a "demographic" problem. Also in January, Coulter argued that public records of gun permit holders should not be made available. She then suggested records of women who've had abortion be revealed.

"Why can't we get a record of women who have had abortions?" Coulter asked Hannity at the time. "They get money from Planned Parenthood; they get money from Medicare and Medicaid, much of these are tax subsidies. I think mothers might want to know what other women on their street might be willing to murder a child."

Pastor Patrick Wooden #fundie huffingtonpost.com

"The God of the Bible made the human sperm, the God of the Bible designed it and it was not designed to be emptied into an area that is filled with feces," Wooden said, noting that gay sex would "most certainly mean the extinction of the human race.”

He then added, "Who wants to practice anything that is going to ultimately lead a grown man to about the time he’s in his 40s or 50s, or what not, having to wear a diaper or a 'butt plug' just to be able to contain their bowels?"

(In a comment thread starting with him saying "god made marriage so why do you atheists do it")

in this country you forget God is in control of the whole world, how is what I mean by limited minds. In the bible it's says render unto God what is Gods and render unto man what is man. So if it takes a marriage license to proceed in getting married in the USA then God does not mind that, but if a christian minister refuses to marry a same sex or non christian couple you have to go look around until you find some minister to compromise what before you can get married. Understand this God does not recognize your marriage no matter how long you've been together, but the state recognizes mine

Joe Arpaio #conspiracy huffingtonpost.com

Arpaio on Thursday unveiled preliminary results of an investigation, conducted by members of his volunteer cold-case posse, into the authenticity of President Barack Obama's birth certificate, a controversy that has been widely debunked but which remains alive in the eyes of some conservatives.

At a news conference, Arpaio said the probe revealed that there was probable cause to believe Obama's long-form birth certificate released by the White House in April is a computer-generated forgery. He also said the selective service card completed by Obama in 1980 in Hawaii also was most likely a forgery.

"We don't know who the perpetrators are of these documents," Arpaio said, although he said he doesn't think the president forged the documents.

Earlier, the 79-year-old Republican sheriff defended his need to spearhead such an investigation after nearly 250 people connected to an Arizona tea party group requested one last summer.

"I'm not going after Obama," said Arpaio, who has criticized the president's administration for cutting off his federal immigration powers and conducting a civil rights investigation of his office. "I'm just doing my job."

If you want to teach kids the TRUTH, teach them the most scientific FACTS, that appear in the Bible, when it comes to Creation & for God's sake, ( and our souls' sake ) let's do away with the THEORY of Evolution !

You stupid Evolving People; if you'd ONLY take the time to carefully examine the facts of God's Word, and then compare them to the most advanced discoveries, you would realize that this is TRULY God speaking to us !

ONE EXAMPLE IS: In the Book Of Isaiah, God tells us how His Spirit goes "round & round the world" and this was penned 400 years BEFORE Kopernikus discovered that world was round, and not flat, as most believed at the time, etc.

Pastor of St. Vincent de Paul School #fundie huffingtonpost.com

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indiana teacher who says she was fired from a Roman Catholic school for using in vitro fertilization to try to get pregnant is suing in a case that could set up a legal showdown over reproductive and religious rights.

Emily Herx's lawsuit accuses the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and St. Vincent de Paul school in Fort Wayne of discrimination for her firing last June. Herx, 31, of Hoagland, Ind., says that the church pastor told her she was a "grave, immoral sinner" and that a scandal would erupt if anyone learned she had undergone in vitro fertilization, or IVF.

The Roman Catholic Church shuns IVF, which involves mixing egg and sperm in a laboratory dish and transferring a resulting embryo into the womb. Herx said she was fired despite exemplary performance reviews in her eight years as a language arts teacher.

Legal experts say Herx's case illustrates a murky area in the debate over separation of church and state that even the U.S. Supreme Court has failed to clearly address.

Diocese officials said in a statement issued to The Associated Press on Wednesday that the lawsuit challenges its rights as a religious institution "to make religious based decisions consistent with its religious standards on an impartial basis."

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously in January that religious workers can't sue their employers for job discrimination because anti-discrimination laws allow for a "ministerial exception." But the justices failed to define who was and who wasn't a religious employee.

"The Supreme Court didn't give us a kind of neat little on-off test as to who's a minister and who isn't," said Rick Garnett, associate dean and professor of law at Notre Dame Law School.

In a similar case in Ohio, a federal judge last month gave the go-ahead for a trial in a lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Cincinnati by a parochial school teacher who was fired after she became pregnant through artificial insemination, which the church is also against. The archdiocese fired Christa Dias in 2010, saying the single woman violated church doctrine.

U.S. District Judge Arthur Spiegel said in his March 29 ruling that the ministerial exception did not apply because Dias was a non-Catholic computer teacher with no role in ministering or teaching Catholic doctrine.

Actually, while I’m not sure about the claims by the various people who have reported that Obama has at least participated at times with them in homosexual acts, this certainly lends some credence
...
The long term goal of the homosexual movement is to get every little boy to grab his ankles and every little girl to give it a try. They will not rest until every one of our children at least gets to try, has the opportunity and maybe is forced to at least once experience homosexual acts.

Curtis Knapp #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Yet another Christian pastor's anti-gay rant has come to light in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) blogosphere.

As first reported by Good As You's Jeremy Hooper, Curtis Knapp, pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church in Seneca, Kan., appears to call for the death of gays in this disturbing audio.

"They should be put to death -- that's what happened in Israel," Knapp proclaims. "That's why homosexuality wouldn't have grown in Israel."

He continues: "Oh, so you're saying we should go out and start killing them? No, I'm saying the government should. They won't, but they should."

Knapp's declaration follows that of Charles L. Worley, the North Carolina pastor who condemned President Obama's much-publicized endorsement of same-sex marriage while calling for gays and lesbians to be put in an electrified pen and left to die off.

Similarly, the pastor's comments seem in line with statements made by Ron Baity, founding pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, N.C. and head of the anti-marriage equality organization Return America, who told his own congregation that LGBT people should be prosecuted as they were historically, and Pastor Sean Harris of the Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville, N.C. who advocated parents "punch" their male child if he is effeminate and "crack that wrist" if he is limp-wristed.

Likewise, Tim Rabon, pastor at Beacon Baptist Church in Raleigh, N.C., condemned states such as Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maryland which have already "re-defined" marriage to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) couples before asking his congregants, "What is stopping them from refining marriage from a person and a beast? We're not far from that."

Caiden Cowger #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Fourteen-year-old Caiden Cowger, who hosts the twice-weekly "Caiden Cowger Show," made his anti-gay proclamations in a recent broadcast, video of which was uploaded to his YouTube channel on May 26. "Homosexuality is a belief," Cowger, who has previously interviewed former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, declares. "The person is not born that way, no matter what Lady Gaga says...it is a decision."

After confessing that he was once friends with some kids who have since come out as gay, he notes, "They were not homosexuals [then]...they just decided all of a sudden, 'I think I'm going to be gay,'" before he eventually concludes, "I'm going to tell you this, guys: President Obama...Vice President Biden...is making kids gay!"

Cowger, who is identified by The New Civil Rights Movement as a Pentecostal Christian, slams homosexuality as "a perverted belief, it's immoral and not natural" before noting, "I'm not for bullying homosexuals, I believe that it's wrong. But when you're trying to teach them the word of God and they consider that bullying...I find that a big problem, not being allowed to convert other people to my religion."

Werner Bock #conspiracy huffingtonpost.com

A Canadian farmer has lost at least 250 cows in the past 10 years. While the government has charged him and says he failed to feed them, the farmer claims the alien defense.

Werner Bock has posted plenty of YouTube videos in recent years detailing his cattle's malnourished appearance, sunken features and hair loss. He declares that his cows were the victims of "death rays," some form of alien weapon that's been covered up by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

"At least 250 head of cattle have died from what we call a death beam," Bock said on camera in May of last year. "Where the atmospheric air is manipulated into a death beam, focused on the noses of the animals."

The animals breath in the death beam and slowly die, the eastern New Brunswick farmer claims.

Michelle Duggar #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Michelle Duggar, star of TLC's reality show, "19 Kids and Counting", says there needs to be more children because our world needs more joy. And as for overpopulation? That's just a lie, Duggar recently told the Christian Broadcasting Network in a web interview. "The idea of overpopulation is not accurate," Duggar says, because the entire population of the world could fit inside of Jacksonville, Florida.

"I agree with Mother Teresa when she said, 'to say that there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers,'" Duggar said.

Atheists have ALWAYS stolen from Christians in order to live a functional life. Because the Worldview of Atheism has it's roots in ideas like Neo-Darwinism. Doug Wilson demonstrated this in the beat down of Christopher Hitchens...James White also demonstrated this in the beat down given to Silverman (President of American Atheist)...There are NO great ideas from Atheists. Atheists must and have to steal from the Christian worldview, they must have the Christian worldview at the foundation of any of their ideas in order for them to work..Morality, Science, Love, Justice, Order, Life and even Reality..

The people that I talk to around here don't believe in that junk that we csme from a bunch of monkeys. That Darwin guy said it was all just a theory and could never be proven. And just where is that missing link? Never been found and never will be.
Our summers around here have been cooler than many of the past, which were usually scorchers. Nobody around here is buying the global warming stuff. But we do believe in saving energy and our air around here is clean.
That school board needs to work on improving student behavior: too many students are cursing and even assaulting teachers. The schools have gone down the drain ever since the court took prayer out. No one can mention God in school nowadays without someone claiming they were offended and filing some kind of ridiculous lawsuit. That's what that school board needs to work on - put God back in school and you will see a world of difference. When I went to school they did not have to have police officers and metal detectors. The biggest problem was chewing gum.

Rush Limbaugh #fundie huffingtonpost.com

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh burst into a hostile rant Wednesday, accusing Democrats of turning women into “nothing but abortion machines.”

Limbaugh -- the man who once suggested deterring abortion by requiring that it be carried out with a gun -- was responding to a caller’s advice on combating “liberal propaganda” that paints Republicans as anti-women.

“Look at what they [Democrats] are doing to women with their policies: They’re demeaning them, they’re turning them into nothing but abortion machines,” Limbaugh said. “There's so much that we could be doing to just fight back, but the Republican Party, even if they had all the money in the world right now, doesn’t seem inclined to do any of this.”

Needless to say, this isn't Limbaugh's first slam of Democrats' stance on women's rights. In 2012, he called Georgetown Law School student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” who wants “taxpayers to pay her to have sex” after she spoke out in defense of the Obama administration's rule requiring health insurance coverage of birth control.

David Hall #fundie huffingtonpost.com

An Illinois man who has worked for his state’s Social Security offices for 14 years says he’d rather get fired from his job than watch an LGBT-inclusive workplace diversity training video.

David Hall, who is employed at the Social Security Administration office in Champaign, Illinois, as an area systems coordinator, told local news station WCIA that he was suspended for two days without pay after refusing to watch a video about LGBT inclusion in the workplace.

Hall’s objection to viewing the video, he said, stems from his belief that it violates his religious views. “I’m not going to certify sin,” he said.

Arguing that the video was “promoting an agenda and a lifestyle that I simply don’t agree with,” the 42-year-old blasted his office’s decision to designate the video as mandatory viewing. “We have never done that for another particular class of people,” he said. “We haven’t done it for veterans, the disabled, blacks, Hispanics, or anything else.”
