You know, I’ll admit that’s a really good Bible quote. And one that I believe as well. As Andrew Ryan said “Even in the book of lies, sometimes you find truth...”
The actual problem, however, is that everyone who keeps quoting this seems to believe they’re on the other side of it!
Now, I’ll admit that “good” and “evil” are vast oversimplifications of very complex moral issues, and people who believe it’s so simple tend to do more harm then good no matter their intent. Regardless, I’m pretty sure most people can agree that “evil” means “actively choosing to cause physical or mental harm to fellow living creatures”. And guess what? Merely being LGBTQ+ does not fall under that definition…
