If I recall correctly, shortly after the election there were some pretty ugly comments in the media about Barron. I think it involved pictures of him getting off the helicopter wearing some dorky t-shirt. It all caused criticism and was quickly stopped.

But even mere mortal human judges can give lenient sentences, give probation (like our Brother David got for his sexual assault), accept a confession and charge a fine, grant a CWOF (“continued without a finding”, a delayed probation where the charges are dropped after a certain period of time if the person behaves), or drop the charges outright. What a shame mere mortal human judges are more powerful in their options that almighty God. Bummer.

I know what you mean, but actually, for the planet itself, as such, the CO2 concentration is totally irrelevent. The planet could survive easily with 90% CO2 in the atmosphere or with no atmosphere at all. Life on the planet, however, wouldn’t like that one bit. The planet would be much more like Venus or Mars. When people say “we have to save the planet”, technically they’re wrong. We just have to maintain the present state of the planet. A slight change and we’re all dead. Earth will still be here, merrily rotating the Sun, turning on it’s axis, not missing life one bit. ;-)
