Well, Zelensky said that if in the long term Ukraine could not join NATO, it would balance its security by restoring a nuclear arsenal. Also, Russia long violated its part of the Ukraine nuclear disarment even after Ukraine actually did it properly. Another concern is North Korea’s direct involvement sending troops. That could lead to escalation. That's a straw man like "the missing link". Most species are extinct. Transitional forms are not "unfit". Everything is transitional, but there's punctuated equilibrium. Meaning that some forms in some environments can evolve more slowly and others in other environments may be pressured to evolve more rapidly or to become extinct, etc.

Transitional fossils are a great source of evidence, but also extant (still living) life. Also remember that fossilization is rare, meaning that we're not clueless when looking for them, a working scientific theory also permits to predict where to find more.

You take the easy way out, affirming without evidence that you're superior and that it's unnecessary to learn about the world, easier to reject it with arrogance. At 12 years old, I knew that the cult I had been raised in could not be "the truth". Its hypocrisy and unethical practices opened my eyes. I didn't decide to become agnostic or atheist. It took over 30 years to learn enough about the world to realize that we've really evolved, for instance. Religious deception led me at many places before. I was always curious and still am. If you could provide evidence of actual divine intervention in the world, I could still change my mind. Claims, lies and threats are not enough. Your argument was not worth your nickname. Your argument that non-belief is sin justification is also old and untenable. Sin is subjective and you've already begun the argument with straw men about others, that would never allow you to really learn about them.

I said above that you seem to have chosen the easiest path. But it's not completely accurate: a simple doctrine that can be dictated to those needing that may appear to be easy. But at the same time, it's a constant fight against the world and reality, involving cognitive dissonance and endless flawed justifications. It's part of what leads some people to seek further, instead of closing their mind. It's obvious for instance, that other groups like yours also pretend to have the ultimate truth, when none of them really do. That's also why the history of religion is endless sectarianism. That's where science is different, it's non-confessional, multi-cultural, universal, and really seeks honest answers achieved with strong evidence. The sciences tend to converge with consilience, because it's not ideological sectarianism, it seeks reality. To permit that, its method includes dealing with common human fallacies. It also makes a distinction between the opinion of individual scientists and the scientific consensus. Scientists come from every culture and religions and it's not religion, so doesn't require conversion. It's distinct from atheism too.

I really suggest learning about critical thinking and the scientific method, then about its discoveries. But that involves also accepting that you're not the center of the universe. It's humbling and can produce crisis of conscience and eureka moments. The way to knowledge is also awesome, it's not only a source of awe, but education also empowers people against manipulation and abuse.

If your cult deceives you with falsehoods to exploit you and that this causes fiction between you and reality and the world (cognitive dissonance, reality and established scientific knowledge denial, demonization of the world), you may want to consider that it's abusive and that there are more honest Christians and people out there. Leaving such behind improves mental health, reduces conflict and increases the ability to adapt to circumstances. At least once you're free from their harassment. Which unfortunately may include keeping people close to you captive and trying to turn them against you, impose shunning, etc. That's how cults work. You'll also discover that the society outside the cult is more friendly and happier, not as evil as they claimed, that disinterested friendships exist and that social activities can be much more enriching than feeling obliged to recite doctrine to fit in. That false claims like "worldly lives are worthless" are only part of the fatalist mental disease imposed by the cult. Remember that they all claim to be "the truth", evidence that none of them really have it.

Confusion of Social Darwinism and pseudoscientific racialism with biology, to put up a straw man of evolution. False claim that the discovery of the genetic code would disprove it. In fact, it has improved our understanding of evolution, helped to correct and generate phylogenetic trees, to understand inheritence, etc. It resulted in a new theory, the Modern Synthesis, incorporating the new knowledge. The scientific consensus is still that the discovery of evolution remains the best explanation for the diversification of life. The evidence keeps mounting.

"Pre-flood scientists" :D

This assumes that there was a universal flood when there was not. It assumes that iron-age people were "scientists", when neither natural philosophy nor the scientific method that transcended philosophy existed. A statement from false premises is flawed. The timeline is also confused, because those archaic homo sapiens neanderthalensis predated the authors of the texts that would eventually be compiled into Genesis. Those authors, ignorant of the world, had no idea that they existed either.

Meanwhile, in the real world, real scientists doing real science continue to discover more real evidence confirming the fact that real evolution really works. So much so, that we can predict where to look for more transitional fossils despite the rarity of fossilization, in the real world. Emphasis on real mine.

Science doesn't work with appeal to authority idols, there's discovery, observation, evidence, hypothesis forming and testing, explanatory models, scientific theories, all only making conclusions due to evidence, thus also a scientific consensus. Biology doesn't claim that you should see two animals produce a third kind, that's also your straw man. Sexual reproduction goes way back before mammals, the most common reproduction type in eukaryotes.

In some red states in 2024, women are really losing their fundamental rights. There's also a great conspiracy at work by an elite minority to steal the country from its people. They too, claim that they want to "take it back", "make it great again", even if they've never owned it, that their idea of greatness is retrogradation, stratification and exploitation. And that the constitution forbids the type of imperial dictatorship that they want to install. They're a threat to national security and to the foundations and principles of the US.

If you know a bit about history, remember who also claimed that they wanted to save and take back their country and what they did. How they also had to be defeated by the people later, to end their crimes against humanity.

The US constitution makes clear that religion cannot be used as a criteria for a government position and that it cannot be imposed by the government or its institutions. There's no mention of atheism. You would probably consider some of the founding fathers "atheists", like the deist. Considering how irrational your generalizations and false claims are, you cannot be trusted to determine who's "atheist" or not anyway.

This seems to be frivolous hate speech accusing anyone that you don't like and pretending that they should be denied citizenship on that basis. "Dehumanization of the 'other'" by someone with a god complex.

If your God really exists and judges people after death, you could then expect this:
You: "But I've lied in your name!" Jesus: "I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness." (Matthew 7:22-23)

This obscurantism is of the same type that was imposed by the church hundreds years ago. The fact that we have evolved is humbling and evidence that humans are not the center of the universe. The same with the discovery that the Earth is not the center of the Solar System.

It's not because you don't see a new mammal species evolve in front of your eyes that it's faith, we call such a naive view a straw man of biology, because it is not what it actually observes. Groups evolve over time and speciation can happen. Science also works with strong evidence and strong inference. It also extends its "senses", it's not limited to human vision in the present.
