What this means is that within Israel, people can only marry people from their own religious community. So, no secular marriages. Due to how religious views of marriage are, it also de facto means no interfaith marriages and no same-sex marriage.

Another problem that needs to be fixed.

Also, I'm getting to the point where I just want to evacuate the reasonable people, both Israeli and Palestinian, let the remaining hardliners on both sides destroy each other, then have the evacuees return and establish a joint, secular state.

I don't think it was sexuality specifically, rather all the feelings that timid, mousy Jennifer Walters had been bottling up, but certainly sex would almost certainly be a part of that.

Not to say she didn't have limits; I remember a subplot where someone, without her permission, took pictures of her sunbathing topless or nude (can't remember which) and sold them to the media, and she was furious. (I don't know if anyone ever asked her if she'd be willing to pose nude.)

But for the most part she's been portrayed as having a very healthy sex life and enjoying flaunting her sensuality. Not that she can't change her mind, of course, but I imagine that being a change which would take a while, and to my knowledge that didn't happen.

You can even see some of this in the HP series itself. Girls can visit the boys' dorms but not vice versa. Rowling herself admitted that Arthur Weasley was the sole positive paternal figure, and he was “well-meaning comic relief" while Molly was overbearing but genuinely dangerous. Or saintly Lily whose death gave Harry his protection, while James was a reformed bully whose death did no such thing.

A panel of House members voted to set aside two resolutions that sought to name the Interstate 85/385 interchange in Greenville County after different politicians.
A few hours after the vote, Rep. Bobby Cox, R-Greenville, took to Twitter to share that he submitted a resolution to name the same interchange after fallen Greenville Police Officer Allen Jacobs. Jacobs was killed in the line of duty in 2016.

I’m not entirely surprised that South Carolina would eventually name an interstate after the current asshole president… If Trump loses the upcoming election (depending, of course, on who the Democratic Party picks to run against him) will they continue to name it after him or drop it entirely?

Well, they haven’t named it yet. It’s just two guys proposing the idea and it’s in committee. I personally doubt it will happen, though I admit with idiots like this around here, you can’t be sure.

I guess since I don’t have any siblings, and don’t have any particular friendships from that age, the idea is a bit foreign to me. I’m sure it doesn’t help that I tend to view romance as basically just “friendship but more so.”

I'll admit I don't understand why friendships that have compatible orientations don't all become romantic; friends-to-lovers is my favorite relationship type by far. But I'm not going to say they're ALWAYS romantic, because they're obviously not.
