[TEAL-DEAR BUT WITH THINGS SPACED SO YOU DON’T “TEAL-DEAR” CONCERNING READING THIS…]
TO THE OP…
Britney’s situation has zilch to do with Qanon, you parasite! It’s a case concerning a greedy sperm-donor with dollar-sign eyeballs, overly-complicated law stuff and a defense team that’s apparently too incompitent to do anything effective for Britney!
****
…TO EVERYONE ELSE…
I now realize what the holdup concerning freeing Britney is and it (likely… as far as I know) has nothing to do with evil bribes and stupidity but more to do with law stuff and the importance of caution.
She’ll be freed, eventually… but she needs to not only PERSONALLY PETITION but to have psych-doctors work with her then testify on her behalf. The courts wont consider any of what Britney says since under the law, she’s considered “incompitent” and her word wouldn’t mean much. She needs a third party of mental health professionals to look at her and declare her competent and worthy to be freed.
Only then, will the courts listen. Its possible that they would be willing to free Britney but the laws involving conservatorship are written a certain way and these judge’s hands are likely tied and they need things to be done a certain way.
If they just heard Britney and said, “Okay, you’re free!” it could have massive negative implications for other conservatorships where the subject’s incompetency is far more obvious.
We don’t know the whole story with Britney and she could very well be either a perfectly competent woman unjustly imprisoned, an able-bodied but messed-up woman with poor impulse-issues who needs to be kept safe from herself, or a mix of both.

Sometimes things in law meant to help the law stay fair and just can backfire. Look at the mess with Bill Cosby! His confession was basically tricked out of him via some sort of deception thus it has been ruled invalid and the Law had no choice but to free the jerk.
These laws concerning honest evidence-collecting were made for the protection and proper due process of suspects since many were innocent people cruelly messed with to give false confessions.
The Cosby case does not set a precedence for the others, all those other pervy former-bigshots will still be disgraced and imprisoned. The Cosby case was merely a perfect storm of awful.
The problem with Cosby was his once-stellar reputation… which was such that even FIFTY PLUS WOMEN coming forward was still a case of “He said she said”.
Sadly, we live in a culture where we think the worst of people accusing highly-beloved celebrities and we don’t want to believe that said celebrity isn’t as sweet and noble as we thought they were.
Many wanted to believe that these survivors were simply a torrent of opportunists piggy-backing off the ones before them in a snowball of grift!
While I wasn’t one of those meatheads who thought that way when the accuser’s numbers entered double-digits, even I, early on, saw those original then - one or two accusers and the subsequent then-nothingburger of results and forgot about it… returning to my love of Bill Cosby’s awesome, timeless comedy and master storytelling.
It wasn’t until it really blew up after Burgresses’ standup and DOZENS OF WOMEN were coming forward that I began to reconsider. I’ve since learned to recognize the internalization of both misogyny and rape culture within myself that I saw things as they were.

I no longer see OJ Simpson as innocent and I KNOW he killed his ex and her friend! I used to be among the “OJ was framed” people back in the day.
I grew up in western New York! I’m from Buffalo Bills country! OJ was our hero! He was a great actor and philanthropist! I didn’t want to believe he could literally go “Slasher Movie Villain” on anyone (spousal abuse jerkassery was believable, yes… but slasher-monster murder, no).
Sadly, OJ likely sliced & diced Nichole and Ron and another problematic fave of mine… Michael Jackson… was likely a disgusting nonce after all and not simply an eccentric “Peter Pan” who “looked guilty” with grifters taking advantage of that. On the upside, Jackson’s dead and I can somewhat separate art from artist a little bit… but I’ll still keep the toe taping casual rather than buy that stuff.

It’ll take a LOOOONG time to separate Cosby from his art since his art is based on his life and he’s still alive.
Cosby is going to be subject to one more lawsuit concerning a gal he assaulted in the 70s when she was 15. His career and rep are also in the toilet, he’s ancient, he’s legally blind and much of his wealth was used to pay settlements and attorneys… so… uh… hooray?
