Silvervale was received death threats and doxxed all for playing that game. She just wanted to play a game based on a series she loved from her childhood; she didn’t want any part of the political zeitgeist. But a bunch of twitter freaks, Vtweeters, and fake activists decided that instead of something that could actually help the trans community (especially in the middle of an active genocide no less), they harassed anyone that showed interest in playing a stupid game.
During that time, she received little if any support from VShojo (even to the point where morons spread rumors and lies about conflict between the talents). In addition, they posted her graduation in the middle of her stream, catching her and everyone else off guard leaving her to address this while emotions were raw. It’s not surprising if she felt betrayed.
Having said that, I am glad that VShojo has stepped up in supporting their new talents. Especially for those that escaped the black company, NijiKurosanji. I just wish it didn’t have to come at such a cost.
And while I’m on the subject, do you remember who else got harassed with this bullshit? Pikamee. She got death threats for even considering playing that stupid game. She did graduate from VOMS, not because of the harassment this was obviously planned in advance, but we were robbed of time with our favorite Kaiju kettle. She did move on and became a genius and joined VShojo as Henya.
Also, who’s salty? Silvy is thriving as an indie Vtuber, just like Nyanners and Vei. You don’t need to be a part of a company to be successful, ask DokiBird.
