Alabama State Senate #transphobia cbsnews.com

Under a new law, transgender youth in Alabama could not be treated with puberty-blockers, hormone therapy or surgery. The state Senate voted to make the treatment a felony on Tuesday.

Senators voted 23-4 to approve the measure, dubbed the Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act, sponsored by Republican Senator Shay Shelnutt. The bill now heads to the state House of Representatives, which has already approved a companion bill.

The two bills would make it a felony for medical professionals to treat transgender minors under the age of 19 with gender-affirming care. Violators could face up to 10 years in prison or a $15,000 fine.

The bill also requires school staff in the state to disclose to parents that "a minor's perception that his or her gender is inconsistent with his or her sex." Essentially, teachers would be required to "out" transgender students to their guardians — regardless of whether they are ready to do so.

"Children aren't mature enough to make these decisions on surgeries and drugs," Shelnutt told The Associated Press. "The whole point is to protect kids."

Mark Grenon, Joseph Grenon, Jonathan Grenon and Jordan Grenon #quack cbsnews.com

Colombian officials say they have arrested two Florida men wanted in the U.S. on charges they illegally sold a bleachlike chemical as a miracle cure for the new coronavirus and other diseases. The Colombian prosecutor's office said Tuesday that Mark and Joseph Grenon were arrested in the beach town of Santa Marta, and were shipping their "Miracle Mineral Solution" — chlorine dioxide — from there to clients in the United States, Colombia and Africa.

It said seven Americans had died from using the substance.

Mark Grenon is the archbishop of the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing, based in Bradenton, Florida. The church is centered on use of the toxic chemical as a supposed sacrament it claims can cure a vast variety of illnesses ranging from cancer to autism to malaria and now COVID-19.

[...]

A federal criminal complaint filed in July charged Mark Grenon, 62, and his sons, Jonathan, 34; Jordan, 26; and Joseph, 32, with conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to violate the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and criminal contempt.

Records in Miami federal court last month did not list attorneys for any of the Grenons. They face a maximum of between 14 and more than 17 years in prison if convicted of all charges.

[...]

The federal complaint says the Grenons initially agreed to abide by U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams' order that they stop selling the solution, then changed their tone in podcasts and emails to the judge herself.

"We will NOT be participating in any of your UNCONSTITUTIONAL Orders, Summons, etc," one email from Mark Grenon read. "Again and again I have written you all that . . . you have NO authority over our Church."

Rick Perry #fundie cbsnews.com

Secretary of Energy Rick Perry said Thursday that fossil fuels can help prevent sexual assault by keeping the lights on, according to The Hill.

During an event with Axios and NBC in Washington, D.C., Perry brought up sexual assault after launching into a story about a trip to Africa, where he said "people are dying" because they don't have access to energy.

"And it's going to take fossil fuels to push power out into those villages in Africa, where a young girl said to my face, 'One of the reasons that electricity is so important to me is not only because I'm not going to have to try and read by the light of a fire and have those fumes literally kill people," Perry said.

He continued: "But also from the standpoint of sexual assault. When the lights are on, when you have light that shines, the righteousness, if you will, on those types of acts."

Jeffrey Sandusky #sexist cbsnews.com

A son of former Penn State University assistant coach Jerry Sandusky has been jailed as he awaits a hearing on charges he pressured a teenage girl to send him naked photos and asked her teen sister to give him oral sex.

The affidavit said Sandusky told the teen in texts in March that “it’s not weird because he studied medicine” and instructed her “to not show these texts to anyone.”

Jake West #fundie cbsnews.com

Is this BS story back again? More of the rewriting of history to make this stupid teenager from up North in Chicago a martyr instead of a fool who was warned by his cousins to leave her alone and not to be whistling at her. He was also bragging he had a white girlfriend back home. There was a PBS Special called the American Experience where they already did this his story and went into full detail of the events leading up to this murder. PBS being Progressive would have changed it to make him look like a totally innocent person in his death.

I suspect this co@cky teenager would have grown up to be a rapist of a white women or a Pimp back home in Chicago if he had lived.

[ On a news story about a man who murdered his girlfriend with a shotgun blast to the chest: ]

"Prosecutors: Woman records boyfriend's remarks as he kills her"

Blowing away a woman with a shotgun is as horrible as it gets.

However, a lot of these American horror shows could have been avoided if moronic males did not continue to pass laws that wind up deluding females that they are equal to males.

A pretense of being 'equal to males' means to foolish females that they should be able to contend with males, and recklessly get up into a man's face. And everyone with a brain will know how such male-female confrontations are likely to turn out ... not in favor of the females.

Even males, who are 'equal' to other males DO KNOW and respect the unstated 'pecking order' among males.

Where males know to NOT GO with other males, some females just rush in. lol

Laura and Michael McIntyre #fundie cbsnews.com

Laura McIntyre began educating her nine children more than a decade ago inside a vacant office at an El Paso motorcycle dealership she ran with her husband and other relatives.

Now the family is embroiled in a legal battle the Texas Supreme Court hears next week that could have broad implications on the nation's booming home-school ranks. The McIntyres are accused of failing to teach their children educational basics because they were waiting to be transported to heaven with the second coming of Jesus Christ.

At issue: Where do religious liberty and parental rights to educate one's own children stop and obligations to ensure home-schooled students ever actually learn something begin?

"Parents should be allowed to decide how to educate their children, not whether to educate their children," said Rachel Coleman, executive director of the Massachusetts-based Coalition for Responsible Home Education.

Like other Texas home-school families, Laura and her husband Michael McIntyre weren't required to register with state or local educational officials. They also didn't have to teach state-approved curriculums or give standardized tests.

But problems began when the dealership's co-owner and Michael's twin brother, Tracy, reported never seeing the children reading, working on math, using computers or doing much of anything educational except singing and playing instruments. He said he heard one of them say learning was unnecessary since "they were going to be raptured."

Abu Rumaysah #fundie cbsnews.com

Abu Rumaysah: I don't love them as non Muslims, but I desire for them to become Muslim and embrace Islam.

Clarissa Ward: But you love her as your mother?

Abu Rumaysah: She's my mother and she has rights over me, so I have to take care of her. I have to look after her. I have to make sure that, you know, she's protected and secure. So I fulfill my obligations like that.

Clarissa Ward: But do you feel love for her?

Abu Rumaysah: It's not allowed for me to love non-Muslims. So that's something that is a matter of faith.

Clarissa Ward: So do you feel that you are British?

Abu Rumaysah: I identify myself as a Muslim. If I was born in a stable, you know, I'm not going to be a horse. If was born in Nazi Germany, I'm not going to be a Nazi. I mean, this is just an island I was born in.

......

Abu Rumaysah: Ultimately, I want to see every single woman in this country covered from head to toe. I want to the see the hand of the thief cut. I want to see adulterers stoned to death. I want to see Sharia law in Europe. And I want to see it in America as well. I believe our patrols are a means to an end.

Clarissa Ward: The only thing I would say is that in America and in the United Kingdom, we have a system: democracy.

Abu Rumaysah: A backwards one.

Clarissa Ward: But it's a system...

Abu Rumaysah: A barbaric one.

Clarissa Ward: ...that allows the people to choose what they want and allows people freedom.

Abu Rumaysah: So why can't I choose Sharia? When in Rome, overthrow Caesar and commit to Sharia.

Clarissa Ward: In your home, you can do whatever you want?

Abu Rumaysah: But what about in the public? Why can't I tell you to cover up? Am I free to say that?

Clarissa Ward: Because it would be outrageous. Of course, you're not...

Abu Rumaysah: So where's my freedom? Where's my freedom?

Clarissa Ward: You can say it to me, but you...

Abu Rumaysah: Okay. So cover up. Wear the hijab.

Clarissa Ward: That's absurd.

Anjem Choudary #fundie cbsnews.com

Anjem Choudary: I believe Islam is superior. And will not be surpassed. So I believe that the law of God is much superior to man-made law.

Clarissa Ward: So, in that sense, you believe that Islam and democracy are mutually exclusive? That they can't exist side-by-side?

Anjem Choudary: Allah is the only one to legislate. So, obviously, in that sense it's completely, diametrically opposed. You cannot have man legislating and playing God in Parliament, and at the same time believe that Allah is the only legislator.

Clarissa Ward: You have the freedom to come here today. You have the freedom to speak on television, to worship whichever God you please. But you're advocating a system that essentially would take away all of those freedoms?

Anjem Choudary: Allah created my tongue to speak. I don't have freedom to come here, because Allah created my feet to walk. So I walk, and I speak, and I look, and I hear according to what God says.

.....

Clarissa Ward: So if a young man, one of your students, comes to you and says, "Should I go and fight in Syria or Iraq," what would you tell them?

Anjem Choudary: Well, they haven't come to me. And if they come to me I'll think about a suitable response. But I'm engaged...

Clarissa Ward: What would you tell them?

Anjem Choudary: I don't deal with hypotheticals.

Clarissa Ward: It's a hypothetical question.

Anjem Choudary: I don't deal with hypotheticals. I deal with reality. You know, I mean, there are many things that could happen, hypothetically. Young men come to me...

Clarissa Ward: Why won't you answer the question?

Anjem Choudary: Because it's a...

Clarissa Ward: It really should be an easy question.

Anjem Choudary: I like to deal with reality. If that happens, you can have another interview with me, and I'll deal with it.

But one week after our interview, Choudary was arrested "on suspicion of being a member of a proscribed or banned organization... and encouraging terrorism." Also rounded up in the raids, was one of his young followers, Abu Rumaysah.

You sheep are so ignorant. The FBI set Nafis up. Like so many previous cases the FBI gave him the "bomb" and conned him into doing this. Why? Because who he is and what the Fed is. What you are wanted to believe is that Nafis, like all Muslims, wanted to destroy an American symbol, the Fed. What is the Fed? a bank that has screwed over 90% of the American people. The orchestrators of this ploy want you to believe that it is un-American to retaliate against the elites that have destroyed our nation. Just look at you all, rank and file, "me hate Muslim, more money for war!" Blow the Fed up, send every politician and lobbyist in DC home, reaffirm the Declaration, and reinstate the Constitution.

Who give a rat's a** about what any non-Jew thinks about Israel. You guys are irrelevant as of 1932, if not before. Jews and Israelis will do whatever they think is required for their security. And let every rich and poor Jew in other countries do whatever they can to exercise or buy or coerce or bribe influence. That's just the way of the rest of you killers. You think I should let those who wiped out my family on all sides decide my security? You think I should give a damn what you think? As for American aid, Israel provides enormous benefits back to the U.S. in terms of intelligence, improved equipment, and some new equipment as well. Finally, most of the aid to Israel is spent in the U.S. If you think the disappearance of Israel is going to make the world safe for Christians and Hindus and the rest of you, then you are not only evil, but cosmically stupid. Finally, just conjure in your mind middle finger the size of Everest pointed in your general direction. By the way, anyway give a damn about the Syrians who are being slaughtered by their Islamic brothers? Does anyone care about the Moslems who attack one another during weddings, funerals, and religious pilgrimages? Naaaaaah, let's focus on the evil, money-grubbing, media-controlling Jews. You are all disgusting hypocrites! Zionism Forever!

Rick Santorum #fundie cbsnews.com

"It's no wonder President Obama wants every kid to go to college," said the former Pennsylvania senator. "The indoctrination that occurs in American universities is one of the keys to the left holding and maintaining power in America. And it is indoctrination. If it was the other way around, the ACLU would be out there making sure that there wasn't one penny of government dollars going to colleges and universities, right?"

He continued: "If they taught Judeo-Christian principles in those colleges and universities, they would be stripped of every dollar. If they teach radical secular ideology, they get all the government support that they can possibly give them. Because you know 62 percent of children who enter college with a faith conviction leave without it."

Santorum went on to encourage his audience not to "give money" to colleges and universities that he said are causing harm to the country.

"I'll bet you there are people in this room who give money to colleges and universities who are undermining the very principles of our country every single day by indoctrinating kids with left-wing ideology," he said. "And you continue to give to these colleges and universities. Let me have a suggestion: Stop it."

The progressive movement had to destroy the idea of a deity because they could not argue against biblical prophesy to promote their ideas of abortion, Global warming dooming mankind instead of the book of revelations. In other words, they do not believe in Divine Will but in moral realitive solutions put forth by secular atheist scholars. Of course the progressives are Machiavellian in their claiming they believe as evangelicals do when we mostly know they are using that bull simply to gain power.

Westboro Baptist Church #fundie cbsnews.com

The families of those killed in the Virginia Tech massacre may not be able to grieve in peace at the funerals of those they lost. An anti-gay religious group known for protesting at the funerals of American soldiers killed in Iraq is planning on appearing at services for those killed on Monday as well.

The Topeka, Kan.-based Westboro Baptist Church (WBC), which is not affiliated with any national Baptist organization, announced plans to protest at victims’ funerals only hours after 32 people were killed in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. They also may protest at other events on the Virginia Tech campus.

The organization, founded and led by Fred Phelps, believes the United States has condemned itself to destruction by accepting homosexuality and other “sins of the flesh.” Phelps’ daughter, Shirley Phelps-Roper, said the Virginia Tech teachers and students who died on Monday brought their fate upon themselves by not being true Christians.
