So far, it has killed 56 people in the UK.

Torture has never worked at stopping terrorism. You want something that works: Bribery and espionage. And I don’t see how torture compromises our democratic values per se. Democracies work even in countries that have pretty draconian laws. Just look at Singapore.

There will be bailouts of industry after industry, the cost of which will be borne by that same next generation whose education we will destroy. It is not their fault the open border lunatics wouldn’t hear of closing the border in January. Yet, as usual, they will pay the price.

If the border was closed, then how would Leon Degrelle be able to seek refuge in Spain?

As for the virus. The idea is that if measures are taken now that the amount of infected people remains constant over time instead of rapidly increasing and peaking at a certain point to then relax back. This will allow hospitals to be able to always serve the sick at maximum capacity instead of having them for a short time deal with the moral dilemma of whom to save at a certain period of time. This actually makes sense. Or at least more sense than torture or closed borders.

4: Looking back at all the texts I have written I feel like if there was a lot going on in my mind that I didn’t know how to express properly yet, as well as a lot I tried to imitate without really understanding. In the above case I attempted a deconstruction in a similar vein to Jacques Derrida while not really understanding that he wrote deconstructive essays in part because of an underlying metaphysical premise that I didn’t grasp that well back then (and I still have trouble grasping it now). The end result was, to put it in Derridian terms, a criticism of the phonocentric assumptions the incels had that started to slightly grasp the logos around which incel beliefs are structured while failing to grasp the trace. In that sense Caamib was right (though it is in another comment) to point out that the narrative I attempted wasn’t properly explored.

Am I the only one who thinks about the Angry Video Game Nerd when reading about those flag analyses? Specifically that Back to the Future review where he proceeds to show how the poor quality can nicely be resumed in the LJN logo. That was at least somewhat funny (though it’s not exactly hilarious by any stretch of imagination) because the Nerd was reacting to a video game that sucked. This isn’t a joke criticizing the LGBT community because for it that requires at least something beyond just a silly flag design and something that veers straight into atrocities territory. This is not even a clever insight of some kind. This is quite simply a homophobe making gay people look disgusting and trying to share that disgust with the people around him. That is not to say that we don’t make other people look disgusting when we can’t argue against them regardless of the quality or merit of their arguments. That is to say that this joke is not funny and that it’s even quite offensive in the sense that it is not even intended to be funny but instead wants to target someone out of revulsion without explicitly stating that they target them.

The prison system has been so largely effective and tolerated because it hid the very real physical and mental harm it caused to the prisoners themselves. The Congregation of the Doctrine of Faith is still continuing its inquisition against pedophile priests. People think of pedophile priests as Karma Houdini's and while that was true from the 1990's-2004 I wouldn't consider this to be true post-2004. Any priest committing a pedophilic act will be judged and punished by the inquisition (which makes it scary because we don't know what the punishment is). And considering the fact that the Catholic Church still upholds a document from the mid-1990's that explicitly states that homosexuality and pedophilia are the same thing I wouldn't be suprised if gay priests would be as severely punished by the inquisition.

But hey, perhaps we do live in the 1970's-1980's after all. Anyone remember back when atheist humanist progressive feminists where passing around a petition to remove the age of consent in France or when the pacifist socialist party wanted to legalize child porn? While legalizing adult-child sex is nowadays fringe (as it Always was, though much less so than gay rights) the most vocal in their support for it have been Islamic conservatives and right-wing libertarians.

Yet the non-elite have experienced firsthand the impact on social programs, schools and safety from sudden, massive and often illegal immigration from Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia into their communities.

So you're going to blame the elties for the rise in right-wing populism in order to justify the rise in right-wing terrorism all accross the globe? Allow me to let you swallow the cold hard fact that elites profoundly don't care if the government is going to outlaw all forms of immigration except for the ones in which right-wing dictators are involved (the irony hurts), abolishes all environmental regulations except for the most basic, reintroduce tariffs as if protectionism was the world's most reasonable economic policy, abolishes social welfare programs and forces academics to commit to a nationalist agenda. Why? Because the elites love it when the working class is too distracted and divided to fight for their rights. They'll adapt to the climate you created and continue with their exploitation, which might actually get even worse for them because no free trade means the elites can create monopolies for themselves.

Why didn't elites extend to China their same tough-love lectures about global warming, or about breaking the rules of trade, copyrights and patents?

The CPC is genuinely committed to fighting against global warming. And if the Western world even was slightly interested in knowing how Chinese copyright law works they wouldn't have to deal with all those bootlegs we currently have. It's their fault and they will have to deal with the consequences.

The middle classes became nauseated by the constant elite trashing of their culture, history and traditions, including the tearing down of statues, the Trotskyizing of past heroes, the renaming of public buildings and streets, and, for some, the tired and empty whining about "white privilege."

If anything it's the elites who want history, culture and tradition to be preserved. The ones who want to end it are minorities, who more often than not are poor because of their lack of access to quality education.

If Western nations were really so bad, and so flawed at their founding, why were millions of non-Westerners risking their lives to reach Western soil?

No one is saying that Western nations were worse than other nations and every nation ever has flaws at their founding. Immigration happens when people try to escape the troubles of their own country. And if Western nations really were so good, and so successful at their founding, why did we find it acceptable to genocide millions of people for arbitrary reasons?

How was it that elites themselves had made so much money, had gained so much influence, and had enjoyed such material bounty and leisure from such a supposedly toxic system -- benefits that they were unwilling to give up despite their tired moralizing about selfishness and privilege?

The majority had access to that money from the start. Further reasons include hard work, corruption, fraud, technical and managerial skills, and just plain old-fashioned luck.

And whenever you see an elite person moralize as you stated it's usually because he doesn't want to pay taxes.

In the next few years, expect more grassroots demands for the restoration of the value of citizenship. There will be fewer middle-class apologies for patriotism and nationalism. The non-elite will become angrier about illegal immigration, demanding a return to the idea of measured, meritocratic, diverse and legal immigration.

Or alternatively we could expect that this conversation will die out in a decade and that it'll be other things that will be hotly debated, as it usually was during most of human history.

Because elites have no answers to popular furor, the anger directed at them will only increase until they give up -- or finally succeed in their grand agenda of a non-democratic, all-powerful Orwellian state.

Fuck you. If censitarty suffrage were replace our current system of universal suffrage you'd claim to defend the elites in favor of "tradition, law and order" against the "chaotic outlaws" which are the people and use that as a basis for your anti-immigration, anti-environmentalist, protectionist rhetoric.

To add to the contradiction, the same people who make these claims tell incels that the only reason they are virgins is because they don’t respect women, or because they aren’t nice to women. The irony here is obvious - it is in fact INCELS who recognize that nothing you do, no amount of niceness, or courtesy, or respect, entitles you to sex. If anyone at all believes that certain acts or behaviors entitle one to sex, it’s those who parrot this deluded, banal advice.

The second amendment had two main purposes. The first purpose was to help preserve the institution of slavery for as long as they thought it would last. The second more important purpose of that amendmment was to be able to legitimize popular revolt if the US government as it was known at the time would be overthrown in a coup. The second purpose of that amendment has completely fallen by the wayside because the US government now has a personal army that can regain control of the main branches of government should a coup ever happen. Albeit to be fair, you can still make the argument that people should have the right to bear firearms to keep slaves under their control. Contrary to popular belief the thirteenth amendment did not abolish slavery. It preserved it if the person that had to me made slave was first convicted of a crime. The Clintons used this loophole to let prisoners clean their house for free.

And to make things even more fun I'll state that famous abolitionist J.S. Mill used bodily autonomy as an argument against slavery. That is the very same bodily autonomy that pro-choicers fervently defend.

The sad thing is is that this is probably not a targeted ban, but one that many big youtubers experience where an algorithm targets a random video, deletes it and then demonetizes the entire channel. I'm pretty sure that she, like all other major youtubers out there, knows how to deal with strikes against her content. It has been so commonly done by YouTube that some even see it as a "rite of passage". Only the really big ones have had their content stricken down and knew how to get back up.
