There is a curse upon the Amish society, because they are teaching a false gospel of earning one's way to Heaven. Isaiah 64:6 says that even our best human efforts are complete filth in God's sight. Eternal life is based solely upon what Christ did for us to pay for our sins, not upon what we can do for Him. Look to Jesus!

Amish also practice the heresy of baptismal regeneration (that is, they require water baptism to be saved). Salvation is not guaranteed in the Amish religion. Amish believe that faithfully attending church increases their chances of going to Heaven. It is a strict salvation-by-works false religion based upon human effort. They do their best and hope they make it.

The truth is that you don't go to Heaven because you're good, and you don't go to Hell because you're bad. You go to Heaven because you have Christ's righteousness by faith. If you die in your sins without Christ's righteousness, then you will go to Hell to be punished and pay for your own sins forever (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9). The sad truth is that there are many good people in Hell this moment.

Teen girls need to be sheltered from the world, seriously. Get rid of that darned television, move out to the country, and spend time together as a family cooking, playing board games, going on picnics, visiting places, listening to old records, et cetera. Don't allow Rock music in your home. Christian families are becoming non-existent because we are all absorbed into modern society. Every home has a TV. Our only hope is to abandon the television and all forms of worldliness. I promise you that if you let your teenage daughter or son listen to worldly Rock music and watch television that they will want to stay in their room all day listening to music, or surfing the internet. Extensive research has revealed that Marilyn Monroe was indeed assassinated to silence her. After multiple affairs with Jack (John) Kennedy, Marilyn wised up and started keeping a diary while having affairs with Bobby Kennedy (who was Attorney General at the time). This has become common practice amongst escort girls these days (that is, setting up their victims).

John Kennedy sent Bobby out to Hollywood, California to notify Marilyn that they needed to break off their relationship (between John and Marilyn). Marilynn was overwhelmed because she had been planning on marrying John. So Bobby ends up having an affairs with her too. Evidently, Marilyn Monroe was the Kennedy family's whore!

She threatened on the Monday after her death (if she had lived) to hold a press conference and reveal everything she had learned and wrote in her diary. If Marilyn had made good on her threat, it would have toppled the presidency, so they killed her.

I am against eye-shadow in public as this is a seductive look that ought to be reserved for intimacy between a husband and wife alone. That's just my opinion. I also think it is wrong for teenagers girls to be decked-out like prostitutes. Lip gloss is worldly. Walt Disney dresses young girls up to look like prostitutes. Teenage girls should not be allowed to wear makeup, high heels, or expensive jewelry until they're 18 in my Christian opinion. Walt Disney has successfully turned a generation of young girls into lascivious whores and sex-perverts. I have a right to my opinion, and I think the Walt Disney Corporation is of the Devil.

Earrings are certainly appropriate; but not if they hang down several inches. Also, I think multiple earrings in one ear are a worldly look and should not be worn by Christian women. A woman with 5 or 6 earrings in her ear is worldly. Nose and body piercings are worldly as well. I would refrain from diamonds and expensive looking jewelry that draws attention to itself. I think gold or diamond wedding bands are the exception to the rule, which are acceptable if they appear expensive. Such a token of love and commitment is supposed to be bright and let every man know that a woman is taken. Of course, I wouldn't wear such expensive jewelry walking down the street; but to church should be safe. I think pearls are fine too, but not too many of them or you'll look like a giant clam.

I think dying one's hair a different color is fine and acceptable; but green, orange, blue or other strange colors for hair are worldly. Some women must wear makeup or a wig or dentures due to health problems, which is fine.

Also, tattoos are worldly and should never be placed upon one's body. A popular trend nowadays is for whorish women to have tattoos placed on their lower back. This is wrong.

I think plastic surgery is bad. Breast implants are ridiculous and are associated with many health problems; not to mention they're simply not natural. We are living in a nuthouse society where one's looks are all that matters. We are bombarded with worldly sayings like... "get the look" or "own the room" or "impress your friends." I got those from a recent Home Depot TV commercial of all places. American society has gone insane with body worship. So, in this whacko sex-perverted environment, it is important for Christian ladies to be careful how they dress, as to not contribute to the sexual promiscuity of our time. Certainly, Christian women don't have to wear sackcloth; but "baggy is better" is my motto.

Modest" means not extreme or bold, and not morally loose. Those can apply to pants, yes; but when I have on a pair of pants, I don't feel that my body is covered. Pants are form-fitting, thus exposing my body. That's just how I feel. The illustration that Cathy Corle uses is two pictures of the same woman. The first one has her in a nice dress. She asked a group of ladies what they noticed about this woman, and they answered her face. Then she showed them the picture of the same woman in a pair of jeans and asked what they noticed. They said their eyes were immediately drawn to the crotch area! That drove home to me that clothes can emphasize the body or the face; I'd rather have folks, especially men, notice my face and not my body. Again, this is my feeling.

The other thing that convinced me was the doctrine of separation from the world. The fashion of the world is to wear pants (patterned after men's clothing). This wasn't the case until about 100 years ago, when actresses began wearing pant suits that resembled men's suits. Before that, women almost universally wore dresses (I remember my Granny saying that she wore her brother's overalls to pick cotton to keep her legs from getting all scratched up). So the fashion of the world became women wearing pants. I felt that, to be separate from the world, I needed to dress differently than the world. I also needed to be feminine and distinctively female; there should be a noticeable difference between my clothes and a man's clothes. The difference in our culture is that women wear dresses and men wear pants, so I believe it's right for me to wear dresses.

A woman who advertises her body doesn't deserve to be raped, but she is certainly asking to be raped, and she may get what she is provoking. [Re. the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" film]

Early in the movie, Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe) is filmed asking an attractive African girl (Elarica Gallagher) if she'll go out with him after work that night at 11 p.m. Dumbledore then arrives and takes Harry Potter on a quest to see something, thus ruining Harry's date. The Bible plainly evidences in the account of king David committing adultery with Bath-sheba the dangers of women displaying their naked bodies in public. David went out on his roof and saw Bathsheba bathing naked and the rest is history . . .

Several years ago, my pastor gave some principles for Christian dress. They're very helpful, and they can be applied to male or female, pants or dresses.

1. Modesty - does this clothing cover me adequately? I Tim. 2:9

2. Not worldly - does this clothing reflect the current trends of Hollywood and TV? I John 2:15

3. Difference - does this clothing easily show there's a difference between me and the opposite gender? Deut. 22:5

4. Inoffensive - does this clothing offend a brother or sister in Christ? As a woman, will this cause my brother to stumble or think lustfully about me? Rom 14:7-8,12-13 I Cor. 10:23; 8:13

5. Glorifies God - does this clothing glorify God, or does it call attention to me and glorify me? I Cor. 10:31

As for this being a matter between a wife, husband, and God:

A saved man will encourage his wife to do what God is laying on her heart. Several ladies have mentioned how their husbands didn't see the need for dresses only, but supported them in wearing them because the ladies felt that is what God wanted them to do. With an unsaved husband, the dress issue can be a witness to her husband in one of two ways: if he doesn't mind her wearing dresses only, it can be a witness of her changed life; if he doesn't want her to wear dresses only, her submission to him in this area will be a witness to him (especially if she makes sure to wear what pleases him when they are at home, even if she wears dresses all the rest of the time).

This issue is just like any other that families have to make a decision about. If your heart is open to do whatever God wants you to, and you study scriptures related to it and come to a different conclusion than others, you've done what you need to to follow God's leading. We have freedom in Christ to follow Him as He leads us to. I don't know why some people develop certain convictions and others don't. How people dress is not a salvation issue; it's a separation issue. It's not my job to win them over to my way of thinking on separation - it's the Holy Spirit's job to teach them how God wants them to live. If they ask why I believe something, I'll tell them; otherwise, I stay quiet.

Personally, I think it's recommended for racial groups to marry within their own group. There are many challenges and problems associated with mixed marriages. It is not sinful according to Hebrews 13:4, but I think it's repercussions are something to be considered, especially upon the children. That's not to say that there aren't successful and happy mixed marriages, but the racial tensions that exist between the two families can often cause a feeling of alienation for one, or both, spouses.

Bottom line ... Hebrews 13:4 permits interracial marriage and it doesn't matter what I think, but I do have my opinion on the matter. The unnatural promotion of interracial marriages today is sinful because of the agenda behind it, and that agenda is a one world order. There's just something beautiful about a family heritage that can be traced back within one's one ethnic group.

Matthew 10:28, “...fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” I shudder to think what Rock 'N' Roll satanist Ronnie James Dio is suffering this moment in the fires of Hell. The Bible says he is in torments as the rich man in Luke 16:19-31. It is not my place to say who went to Heaven or Hell, but the Bible makes very clear that anyone who dies in their sins without having believed on Jesus as the Christ is doomed.

Many victims of horrible accidents are deliberately placed by doctors into a coma to allow the body time to heal without the patient suffering inexplicable, excruciating, physical pain and emotional suffering. This woman was placed into a medically induced coma for 5 1/2 weeks. She was the victim of booze. The beer companies won't show you that!

There won't be any escape nor relief from the torments of Hell. The Bible says that there will be NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT in Hell from all the horrifying cries of the damned, from the agonizing blood curdling pain caused by being boiled alive in molten sulfur.

There's a sicko scene in the movie INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996), where Mary McDonnell (who plays the First Lady Marilyn Whitmore) asks Vivica A. Fox (who plays Jasmine Dubrow in the movie) what she does for a living. Jasmine says, "I'm an exotic dancer (a stripper)". Marilyn says, "I'm sorry" (which is the correct answer any decent person would give). Jasmine responds by defending her stripping by saying, "Don't be, my baby's worth it" (i.e., providing for her son). Leave it to Hollywood to subliminally teach people through their sicko movies that stripping is an acceptable way to make a living. It upsets me how hypocritical our Godless society is. Genuinely great men, who were truly decent (like Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) who spent his life helping others, preaching the Gospel, giving away millions of dollars and pastoring for 55-years) are slandered and maliciously attacked, falsely accused and torn down. The content on Wikipedia is allegedly controlled by the public, but it is my opinion that Wikipedia is controlled, just as is the biased newsmedia and agendacized Hollywood. Some of the most wicked people listed on Wikipedia don't have one negative word said about them, while numerous godly pastors and Christian organizations are unfairly maligned. Not one negative word is mentioned on Wikipedia about Leonard Nimoy. His naked photograph collection is merely mentioned as an ISBN number. Very few, and I mean very few, women are like the Proverbs 31 woman. Very few husbands are truly happy in their marriage. So many wives lie to their husbands, being deceitful and hiding things from him. I feel sorry for the man who's wife waits 10 years to tell him some bad news, breaking his heart. Those are horrible words when a wife says, "There's something I should have told you 10 years ago." What a horrible thing to do to a man. There was a wife who led her husband to believe that she was a virgin before they married. They were both Christians and had never dated anyone except each other. The wife decided after 7 years of marriage to tell her husband that she was sexually molested by a much older step brother when she was a little girl. The husband was forever devastated.

As you can imagine, that permanently destroyed any family relations. The man never spoke to the wife's family again. The wife should have kept her mouth shut. Better yet, she should have told her husband before they married what had happened. She might as well have shot that poor man in the head, because he wished he were dead when she dropped the bomb on him. I've heard testimonies from men of their wives stealing from their them, cleaning out the bank account, destroying their personal property, lying to them, using the courts against them, dragging meddling people into the marriage, etc, etc, etc.. I used Acid Loops, a musical software program, to reverse the song. You are hearing the end, a pause, and then the beginning of the song played in reverse. I took out the middle of the song to limit the size of the file. This is backward masking, and it's prevalent in the entire evil music industry.

I was reading through a newspaper recently and ran across an article that made me think a bit about how silly we humans can be at times. The article was similar to one of those Ann Landers columns where readers send in questions for the "Expert" to answer.

We'll this particular article featured a woman who is married to a doctor. The doctor's wife said that her husband is very respected in the community and in his profession by his peers. She was upset however because she said that her husband is a phony and abusive. She said that her husband picks on her at home and is a totally different person than he is in public. She mentioned in particular that her husband criticized that very day for not putting the broccoli on the correct shelf in the refrigerator.

The female columnist sided with the woman and advised her to confront her "abusive" Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde husband or leave him if he didn't change. Let me say right here that divorce is a SIN! I would never advice any woman to stay in a dangerous situation, but all too often rebellious wives (who anger there husbands) demonize him when he has every right to be angry with her. Ladies, don't demonize your husband for getting angry if your not keeping the house clean, meeting his needs, and feeding him decent home cooked meals.

God created Adam and Eve; NOT Adam and Steve! The Bible calls homosexuality (referred to as "sodomy" in the Old Testament) an "abomination," i.e., hatred for a sin coupled with disgust. Homosexuality is not only sinful, it is horribly disgusting in the eyes of God. Leviticus 20:13 warns... "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." All children today go to school for 13 years (kindergarten plus 1-12 grades). It used to only be 12 years. But they kicked the Bible and prayer out in 1963 and then added kindergarten (making it 13 years). The public school system is stamped with rebellion.

You have to go for 13 years to have your faith destroyed in God. Originally there were only 13 channels on television. 13 year olds are known as rebellious. There is something about the number 13 that is far more than mere coincidence.
