Cindy Jacobs #fundie #mammon rightwingwatch.org

Last month, “respected prophet” Cindy Jacobs preached at a church in New Jersey, where she prophesied that God wants Christians to be rich so that there will be a “great harvest” of Jewish conversions when they see their Christian neighbors becoming “profoundly wealthy.”

“What the Jews have, we have,” Jacobs proclaimed. “However, we have more when we’re in Christ because the Holy Spirit is inside us, empowering us to do the good works we’re called to do.”

“I want to say to you,” she continued, “that one of the things I believe that’s going to bring a great harvest of Jews is the Christians becoming so profoundly wealthy … that it’s going to make them jealous. The wealth and the riches that we’re able to obtain is going to make them jealous.”

“Do you think our poverty is going to make a Jew jealous?” she asked. “Come off it! No, we are meant to prosper. Why? Because they understand, in their culture, that obedience to God brings blessing.”

E. W. Jackson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Right-wing pastor E.W. Jackson dedicated his radio program on Friday to railing against the existence of “After School Satan” clubs, which are designed to serve as an ironic counter to the evangelical Good News clubs that operate in public schools.

Jackson, of course, was deeply opposed to allowing After School Satan clubs to meet in schools because he thinks that public schools should be teaching the Bible, prayer and Christianity as part of the standard curriculum.

“You know what we need?” he asked. “We need to bring prayer back into schools and we need to bring the Bible back into schools and we need to start telling children, like we used to in school, who made you—God. And have them singing, ‘Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.'”

Jackson insisted that requiring such instruction in public schools would not violate the First Amendment because he claimed that restrictions on the establishment of religion only applies to Congress. The problem, he said, is that local school districts easily cave whenever “some idiot ACLU nutcase comes along” and threatens to sue because “they hate God.”

“They hate God, they hate any mention of God, they hate any notion of God. They hate Christianity,” Jackson said. “What they want to do is completely sanitize the country of the presence, the acknowledgement, the respect for almighty God and the church and the synagogue or anything that represents the God of the Bible.”

God's design is one sexual partner for life. Now, in the homosexual community, the average homosexual has hundreds of sexual partners over the course of a lifetime. Hundreds. Some of them have between 500 and 1000 and there are any number of homosexuals, and they admit this in their own literature, have more then a 1000 sexual partners.

Now they're talking about numerous sexual encounters on the same night. Now, in order to do that, they've got to take drugs to enhance the experience and to make it possible to have numerous encounters on the same night. These drugs are called "poppers," is the street name for them. They're amyl nitrites, alkyl nitrites ... they inhale these things and they dilate the blood vessels, increase blood flow and all that kind of thing - they're real tough on the heart, in fact, you'll find homosexuals frequently dying at early ages of heart attacks. Why? Because they've just overstimulated their heart with these nitrites because of the kind of sexual behavior that they engage in.

And we know, [Peter] Duesberg say, look we know, we can demonstrate in the lab the way these nitrites, the way these inhalants break down the immune system. And the research indicates that 96% of the people who engage actively in homosexuality, homosexual behavior, use these nitrites. The inhalants are very common.

So he suggests that this is the cause of AIDS: it's the rampant promiscuity, coupled with this drug use. That's what causes the human immune system to break down.

House select committee shut down its investigation into the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol[…]
Among the transcripts released was an interview with far-right activist Ali Alexander, who played a central role in organizing the so-called “Stop The Steal” movement[…]
When the select committee shut down without Alexander facing any charges stemming from the insurrection, he unleashed a wildly egotistical rant during a Telegram livestream, bragging that he had “raped the January 6 Select Committee”[…]
Ali bragged on the livestream[…]“I am the father of dragons. The father of dragons! I red-pill celebrities. I create nationwide movements. I make members of Congress shake”[…]
“Just dare me. Because for the first time in a 15-year career, I owe no one nothing. Nothing. And I have access to everything. They thought that they could contain my power level. I am playing dumb. I am playing crazy, a lot like Jesus did. People will come to learn the truth. And guess what? Frankly, that’s what I need to crucify me. That’s why you’re gonna see both sides try to come together to crucify me. Here’s the difference: Jesus was a carpenter, and I’ve got motherfucking machine gun”[…]
“These motherfuckers thought I would talk to them,” Alexander said. “I was talking to the future because I’m a fucking time traveler! I wasn’t talking to the fucking committee; they’re dead. They’re like, whoosh. These people died a while ago. I came back in time to talk to dead people. So, here I am talking to the future, and they didn’t even realize I knew how to talk into the transcript[…]I knew when it would frustrate the court reporter[…]I knew when to say something they thought that they can lick their lips on, and then finish the sentence with, ‘I don’t know’[…]or start a sentence, ‘I don’t know’[…]If I had to form an opinion today it would be: brrrraattta ta ta ta ta ta ta ba boom!”

Liz Crokin #conspiracy rightwingwatch.org

On Sunday, right-wing “journalist” and Trump–worshiping conspiracy theorist Liz Crokin posted a video on her YouTube channel in which she declared that former President George H.W. Bush had been “executed,” which she believes is a signal that the long-predicted mass arrests would soon begin.

Crokin, like many other far right-wing activists, is a devoted believer in the so-called “QAnon” conspiracy theory, which posits that a high-ranking official within the Trump administration has been dropping coded hints on the 8Chan forum board about a secret operation to take down a global satanic pedophile ring involving countless political, economic, and cultural leaders.

The proof of this effort, Crokin and others believe, will come in the form of a wave of mass arrests in which hundreds of highly influential figures will be rounded up, subjected to military tribunals, and ultimately executed.

On Sunday, Crokin reported that a key moment in this unfolding plan would occur when U.S. Attorney John Huber, who has been “tasked with looking into Republican claims of FBI misconduct and whether more should have been done to investigate Hillary Clinton’s ties to a Russian nuclear agency,” testified before a House committee this week.

“The hearing that goes down this week,” she said, “there is a very good chance that the crimes against children will be exposed and the floodgates will break open. I don’t know for sure. I’m praying that will be the case, but whether it happens on [December] 5th or in a week or three weeks, it’s happening.”

“It’s no coincidence that George [Bush] Sr. died,” she added. “By the way, he didn’t die, he was executed. He was executed. So the tide has turned, you guys. The Q movement is unstoppable.”

“The writing is on the wall,” Crokin proclaimed. “Nothing is going to stop these arrests from happening. Nothing. And this is going to be a big week. The world is about to change.”

Vincent James #homophobia #psycho rightwingwatch.org

Near the end of 2022, far-right streamers Vincent James and Steven Franssen hosted an episode of their “White Boy Wednesday” livestream during which James said that he would be more than happy to live in a society where “they throw gays off buildings”[…]
During the “White Boy Wednesday” broadcast, James grew exasperated by those who criticized FIFA for holding the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, a nation that harshly oppresses and persecutes LGBTQ people

“Who cares how they treat homosexuals?” James said. “Why do we have to measure things based on how they treat homosexuals? Can’t we measure things based on everything else? Why does that always have to be the most important thing? Oh, they throw gays off buildings? So? How does their train system work? Is my train going to be 12 hours late? Oh, no? Oh, OK. Well, I’ll look the other way while they’re throwing some gay dude off a roof”

“Which one would you rather have: trains to be on time [and] society to function or … society to be completely dysfunctional and totally homosexual and they’re turning your kids gay?” James asked. “I’d say I choose the functional society where they throw gays off roofs and make women wear wear [hijabs]”

Rick Santorum #wingnut rightwingwatch.org

Look at the political base of the Democratic Party: it is single mothers who run a household. Why? Because it’s so tough economically that they look to the government for help and therefore they’re going to vote. So if you want to reduce the Democratic advantage, what you want to do is build two parent families, you eliminate that desire for government.

When [gay people] manifest sexual immorality, there's something inside of them that is manifesting and, on this show, we like to discern the spirits and I would say that's a demonic spirit that is manifesting inside of them and sinning by an act of their consent, of their free will, they're cooperating with the Devil and there is something unhuman in side of them ... There is something nonhuman inside of them and that should be discerned as something not human.

Lauren Witzke #sexist #wingnut rightwingwatch.org

When the “red wave” that many thought would sweep Republicans into power across the nation in the midterm elections failed to materialize, right-wing activists immediately began looking for someone to blame[…]
These results prompted Lauren Witzke[…]to declare that giving women the right to vote in 1920 “was the worst thing that ever happened to America”

Last Thursday, Witzke appeared on Elijah Schaffer’s “Slightly Offensive” program, which has recently gone independent after Schaffer was fired from The Blaze for reportedly drunkenly groping a female colleague. During her appearance on the show, Witzke apologized to the nation “for the rest of my fellow female voters because they are voting our country away”

“In regards to women voting, that was the worst thing that ever happened to America,” Witzke said. “Women overwhelmingly vote on their emotions and liberals are very good at appealing to emotions, ‘Oh, look at these migrant children, they have nowhere to go, look at this pregnant migrant woman, she has nowhere to go, we have got to open up our borders and give her cash assistance for the rest of her life here in America.’ And women vote for that. They vote to have weapons taken away, our Second Amendment rights taken away”

“Women used to not vote because their husband would make the choice for them,” Witzke continued. “Now, if just our husbands and landowners were voting, we’d be in a much better place than we are now. We’d have closed borders. We’d have no infringements on our Second Amendment rights. Red flag laws would be a thing of the past. And we as women wouldn’t have such authority and power over who gets into elected office because we don’t deserve it. The way that women vote, it’s been terrible. I’m apologizing as a female voter for the rest of my fellow female voters because they are voting our country away, and it is extremely dangerous”

R. Emmett Tyrrell and Bryan Fischer #wingnut rightwingwatch.org

Tyrrell: These liberals are bloodless, they are just cold-blooded people. They ought to open their hearts to conservatives, frankly. In writing this book, ‘The Death of Liberalism,’ I came to the conclusion that they are dead…they are brain dead…they simply can’t look at anything that contravenes their value system, they turn their back on it…

Fischer: It’s been interesting to me in talking to liberals, and I’m sure you’ve had this same experience, the conclusion I’ve come to is that they cannot be reasoned with because logic means nothing to them, facts mean nothing to them, history means nothing to them, reason means nothing to them. They just have these very strong feelings and the strength of those feelings in their minds is all they need to validate the positions they take. So I’ve just come to the conclusion that liberals cannot be reasoned with they can only be defeated.

Nick Fuentes #wingnut #fundie #sexist #homophobia #conspiracy rightwingwatch.org

Nick Fuentes[…]reacted to the results of the midterm elections by declaring that the failure of Republican candidates to take sweeping control in a “red wave” is precisely why this nation needs to be taken over by a far-right-wing dictatorship[…]
During a Wednesday night livestream, Fuentes admitted that the election results showed that his agenda is wildly unpopular[…]
“You gotta recognize the fact that this is a godless country,” Fuentes said. “I hate it. It’s immoral. It’s wrong. It’s heinous. It’s evil[…]And that’s why you’ve got to get this out of your head that there is some silent majority cavalry that’s going to come out of the woods and save us at the last minute. It’s not”

“We are in the minority,” he continued. “There are not as many of us as there are of them. If they all had to vote, if you forced every man and woman in America to vote, there would be more of them than us by a lot. That’s why they win the popular vote[…]And I hate to burst anybody’s bubble, but there is simply no evidence that there is a silent majority. There is no evidence of this. There are too many non-white people in the country, frankly, for that to be the case”

“When you look at these things like abortion, it’s popular,” Fuentes added. “And you can thank the Jewish media for that. Abortion is popular, sodomy is popular, being gay is popular, being a feminist is popular, sex out of wedlock is popular, contraceptives—it’s all popular. That’s not to say it’s good. That’s not to say I like that. Popular means that people support it, which they do. It sucks, and it is what it is, but that’s why we need a dictatorship. That’s unironically why we need to get rid of all that. We need to take control of the media or take control of the government and force the people to believe what we believe or force them to play by our rules and reshape the society”

Bryan Fischer #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Bryan Fischer used his American Family Radio program on Friday to reissue his demand that the rainbow flag be removed from public places on the grounds that it is offensive and divisive.

Reacting to reports that some schools in North Carolina have begun implementing dress codes that include bans on representations of the Confederate flag, Fischer said the same policy should apply to rainbow flags.

“If we are going to ban the Confederate flag because it is divisive, how about we ban the LGBT flag at school?” he said. “If we are going to ban the Confederate flag at school because it creates division, because it arouses division, because it is offensive to people, because it so violates their most deeply held values about human sexuality, I propose that everywhere—everywhere—where the Confederate flag is banned, that we propose that along with it, at the same time, that the LGBT rainbow flag be banned at exactly the same time for exactly the same reasons.”

“It is offensive, it is contrary to our most deeply held values, it divides people, it does not bring them together,” Fischer asserted. “It’s time to have the LGBT flag banned right alongside the Confederate flag. If we’re going to ban one, I submit we need to ban the other.”

“Stop the Steal” leader Ali Alexander appeared Tuesday on a [url=https://cozy.tv/bakedalaska/replays/2022-10-18_1program[/url] hosted by far-right streamer Anthime “Tim” Gionet[…]
Alexander, who recently openly advocated for Christian fascism[…]said that the next three months are likely going to be among the top five most important moments in American history

“It’s all about willpower,” Alexander said. “Are you willing to set yourself on fire for what you want? To win? And our side has got to be a higher concentration of ‘yes.’ Right now, [Democrats are] willing to break the Constitution, break the law, imprison prison political prisoners, act like Soviet punks, and do all of that. We have to plus-one that. We have to jail Democrats. We have to censor their asses. We have to make them beg for a peace treaty with us, for an understanding. There’s no point in coming to an understanding before we have buy-in from them, so we’ve got to make them hurt”

Gionet, who goes by the moniker Baked Alaska[…]readily agreed

“That’s right,” Gionet responded. “You said that so well. We have literally gone through hell in these last few years. The political persecution; how the Jan. 6 people have been treated like absolute terrorists—I mean, they literally call us terrorists. Wow, I mean, I’m just looking forward to when I get my bag right, suing the fuck out of CNN and all those pieces of shit, dude. It’s terrible what they’ve done to us, all the income we’ve lost from being banned from social media, all the relationships. Nick Fuentes #fundie #wingnut rightwingwatch.org

Nick Fuentes[…]declared during a livestream Tuesday night that he is going to spend the next two years raising up an army of thousands of far-right “soldiers” who will be ready to take over the government should former President Donald Trump be reelected in 2024[…]
Those who filled the ranks of government under Trump, Fuentes griped, were too concerned about their own lives and the welfare of their families to be willing to sacrifice it all for the cause[…]
“We need to raise an army of soldiers, not an army of pussies that have the right opinions,” Fuentes bellowed. “We need to raise an army of soldiers, and if you’re meek or weak or you’re a bitch, you need to hit the bricks because it’s finished, that movement is dead”

“This is my mission statement,” he continued. “My mission for 2024 is to raise an army of at least 1,000 groypers that will infiltrate Capitol Hill and the Trump administration as staffers and bureaucrats[…]
“I’ve recognized my role,” Fuentes said. “I’ve got an audience of young people. I’m respected. I’m a role model, and I’ve got an audience of energetic, zealous Christian American patriots. My exclusive mission in the next two years is to get as many of them as possible trained, vetted, testified, fortified, tested, and plug them in to Washington, D.C., or various other institutions, plug them into Capitol Hill, plug them into the White House[…]
“It’s our job to create an entire generation, a true movement, a cadre of 50,000 people to take over the government and create a lasting MAGA institutional revolution at every level of government,”[…]
“We got to come back in ’24 with the vengeance,” he declared. “Not care what the media says, not care what your friends and family say, not care what anybody says. It’s got to be, ‘Trump 2024: Make America Great Again Or Else.’ Like, at all costs. ‘America First At Any Cost’

Far-right activist and so-called “Stop the Steal” founder Ali Alexander went on a manic rant during his podcast Monday in which openly advocated for Christian fascism and “a violent Christian crusade” against his perceived political opponents

Buoyed by reports that Elon Musk will purchase Twitter and that Kanye West was photographed wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt[…]
“I refuse to walk into a future where it is commonplace to have sexual perversion in public,” Alexander declared. “It’s just not going to be the norm, not where we’re going. OK? You can call that whatever the hell you want. You can call that Americana, you can call that America First, you could call it fascism, you could call it a theocracy, you could call it Christian nationalism[…]
“We will not live in a future where violence doesn’t meet widespread perversion. Period,” he continued[…]
“All the good faith that we have allowed our oppressors to be assigned, it’s gone,” Alexander said. “I’m not gonna bomb an abortion clinic, but if somebody did, I’m not denouncing it. I’m not calling for violence. I’m not calling for death. I’m explicitly saying, ‘Don’t do that,’ but if it happens, c’est la [vie]. OK? C’est la [vie]. You know, if they can poll a bunch of moderate Muslims and they don’t feel the urge to denounce radical Islam, guess what? This guy—Ali Alexander and Ali Alexander alone—but guess what? “I’m not gonna get beatified for this,” Alexander asserted. “I’m not going to reach sainthood, but I am here to say, ‘Fuck them.’ Fuck their nuclear war. Fuck their World War III. Fuck their rejection of peace. And if they don’t deal with the middle—the Elons and the Kanyes—then they should meet—I’m talking about the whole world—they should meet a violent Christian crusade. Jesse Lee Peterson #racist rightwingwatch.org

(Uncle Tom’s at it again. And holy shit! is he deep up massa’s ass.)

Right-wing commentator and pastor Jesse Lee Peterson joined a broadcast hosted by neo-Nazis yesterday and expressed his appreciation that the hosts were influencing young white men.

During a Nov. 6 stream on the website DLive, Peterson joined Robert Warren Ray, who is better known by his persona “Azzmador” on the neo-Nazi blog The Daily Stormer, and a person only identified as “Jimmy,” but whose voice sounds remarkably similar to Daily Stormer founder Andrew Anglin. During the appearance, Ray asked Peterson to elaborate on his frequent claims that black people in America lived better under Jim Crow laws–which enforced racial segregation in the American South, stripped African Americans of their rights, and enabled racial terrorism against African Americans–than they do today.

“Black people were not whining, complaining, and begging and blaming the white man. They were better off then than they are today because they had family and they treated everyone the way that they would like to be treated. And they knew that there were good and bad in all cultures,” Peterson told Ray.

Peterson insisted that Jim Crow laws would have been naturally reversed by a diverse group of “decent people” of different races, but that the civil rights movement “forced things to happen, and you can’t make anyone love you.” Peterson said the civil rights movement “should have never happened” and described it as a “big mistake.”

At the end of Peterson’s interview with the hosts, Peterson told them: “I’m really happy to know that there are other guys like you guys out there encouraging these young men to overcome anger and return to God, because their parents didn’t tell them that, and they’re not getting it in the schools. And especially with the young white males, I don’t want them to destroy themselves by being angry and doing the wrong thing because that’s a set-up from the children of the lie.”

“Children of the lie” is a term that Peterson often uses to describe people he believes are influenced by evil forces.

“I’m glad that the word is getting out that you can speak up, but don’t hate, because if you hate, you’re going to do something that you regret later, and we’re going to have a civil war, and they’re going to call you white supremacist and racist, and they’re going to make laws that destroy white men or anyone that stands up,” Peterson said.

Jimmy asked if Peterson believed there was not a political solution to the societal flaws they collectively perceived, to which Peterson agreed. After Peterson left the podcast, Jimmy praised Peterson for agreeing with him that “these young black men are a major problem” and suggested that the United States would need to have laws against “race-mixing.” Peterson, Jimmy said, “seems like the kind of guy we should be embracing if we’re looking for some kind of solution to the black problem.”

Peterson has long associated with extremists, both hosting them on his show and appearing on shows hosted by extremists. In January, he appeared on a white nationalist podcast and told the host that “unless white people take over, it’s over for America.”

Sandy Rios #sexist rightwingwatch.org

On her radio show Tuesday, American Family Association official Sandy Rios criticized Deshauna Barber, the newly crowned Miss USA, for praising gender equality in the military at Sunday’s pageant.

During the Miss USA pageant’s question-and-answer segment, Barber, an Army Reserve officer, was asked about the Pentagon’s decision to make all combat jobs available to women.

Barber called the decision “an amazing job by our government to allow women to integrate into every branch of the military. We are just as tough as men… As a commander of my unit, I am powerful, I am dedicated and it is important that we recognize that gender does not limit us in the United States Army.”

Rios mocked Barber’s response, saying, “So, as a woman, just so you know, cause I say so, I am just as tough as a man, I am powerful, and gender does not matter in the American military. You see the trend? Just, you know, I think it, so it is. I mean, this is incredible fantasy, and it’s just so unhealthy.”

Pat Robertson #wingnut #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

Today on “The 700 Club,” Pat Robertson railed against a supposed “left-wing bias” in the media, the entertainment industry, and academia, lamenting that gays and lesbians have “infiltrated” such institutions and are now using them to dominate society.

“We have given the ground to a small minority,” he said. “You figure, lesbians, one percent of the population; homosexuals, two percent of the population. That’s all. That’s statistically all. But they have dominated—dominated the media, they’ve dominated the cultural shift and they have infiltrated the major universities. It’s just unbelievable what’s being done. A tiny, tiny minority makes a huge difference. The majority—it’s time it wakes up.”

Robertson shared that he is working with actor Kevin Sorbo on taking back the culture: “So what are you gonna do? Kevin Sorbo brought me some scripts so I just finished reading some scripts. I got one that I think would make a pretty good movie. I’m going to talk to Kevin to see what he thinks. We gotta make some more movies.”

Kevin Swanson #fundie #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

On his “Generations” radio talk show earlier this week, radical anti-LGBT pastor Kevin Swanson declared that sexual assault in public schools “shouldn’t be too surprising” to anyone, because public schools are “so sexualized” through “sex-ed” and “homosexual indoctrination.”

“They’re talking about sex all day long; the schools are so sexualized,” Swanson said. “The fact that teachers are going to dabble” in sexual assault “should not be surprising.”

Swanson blamed the “very, very common” problem of sexual assault on the fact that “there is no Christian discipleship program” in public schools, which are “are not patterned after the Hebrew model” nor “patterned after the word of God.” Instead, Swanson lamented, “public schools are patterned after the Greek gymnasium and the Greek gymnasium involved a great deal of sexual activity, and of course laboratory experience as well. That is, the sex-ed classes usually involved some degree of laboratory experience.”

As a result, Swanson explained that “as the American public schools become more epistemologically self-conscious concerning their Greek-humanist model, that they have incorporated, you know, the classical model from the Greeks, of course they are going to have more sexualized experience between teachers and students.”

Sharon Arkme #fundie #homophobia #wingnut rightwingwatch.org

Earlier this month, the Texas chapter of the anti-LGBTQ hate group MassResistance hosted a “pro-family conference” featuring a variety of anti-LGBTQ activists like Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, Brian Camenker of MassResistance, and Robert Oscar Lopez, who runs the Texas chapter.

Sharon Arkme, who claimed that she was a victim of anti-Christian persecution when she was denied certification in a Master’s program she had enrolled in at Texas State University “because I would not agree with their LGBT agenda,” told attendees that LGBTQ advocates are warring against “Christ and Christians” and “brainwashing our children.”

“I did not realize the full agenda of the radical left,” Armke told the audience. “They are in a war with Christ and Christians, whether we realize it or not. They are not content with society and Christians treating them with outreach, courtesy and respect that should be given to any other human being just because they are human. They want us to approve their behavior. They will not stop until they dominate.”

“They intend, and they are very successful so far, in brainwashing our children to believe that sodomy is right and good,” she continued. “We are trying to show parents what is happening to our children and, excuse me if I say this, we should be screaming bloody murder in the streets. We should be screaming bloody murder in the streets, this is not right! … Those teachers that do this, that teach sodomy to little children, many people call them child abusers and I agree.”

“I learned the hard way the true agenda of the radical left, it’s domination of our children and our culture,” Armke fumed, eventually growing so upset that she couldn’t even finish her remarks and simply declared “may God have mercy on us” as she walked off the stage.

Gordon Klingenschmitt #fundie #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

On his most recent "Pray In Jesus Name" program, Gordon Klingenschmitt reacted to the recent vote by the citizens of Ireland to legalize gay marriage by declaring that the country needs a modern-day St. Patrick to rise up and rid the nation of the demonic "snakes" that are encouraging people to embrace sin.

"There was a time when it was said that St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland," Klingenschmitt said, "and now I'm concerned that the snakes have returned to Ireland. And when I say snakes, I'm not talking about physical snakes, I'm talking about the demonic spirits inside of some of the people you see parading their sin in pride around the country, rejecting not just the Catholic Church but rejecting Jesus Christ himself."

"Jesus Christ defined marriage between one man and one woman," he continued, "and maybe it's time for another St. Patrick to go back into Ireland and preach the good news that Jesus can make you free from sin and drive out the snakes once again."

Bryan Fischer #fundie rightwingwatch.org

My argument all along has been that the purpose of the First Amendment is to protect the free exercise of the Christian religion.

One evidence that [the Founding Fathers] were not dealing ... they weren't even intending to deal with non-Christian religions is what they did with Mormonism in the latter part of the nineteenth century. Mormonism - they call themselves by the name of Christ, but it is not an orthodox Christian network of churches, it just is not. Mormonism is not an orthodox Christian faith. It just is not. They have a different Gospel, they have a completely different definition of who Christ is and so forth, I mean, the list could be multiplied endlessly.

And it was very clear that the Founding Fathers did not intend to preserve automatically religious liberty for non-Christian faiths, so when Mormonism came along, they practiced polygamy, they believed in polygamy, just like Muslims do today.

Rev. Kent Christmas #wingnut #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Right-wing pastor Kent Christmas used the Sunday sermon at his Regeneration Nashville church to rail against the Biden administration, declaring that the “authority of the kingdom of God” is the only legitimate power on Earth and therefore everything else “is an illegal authority”[…]
During his most recent sermon, Christmas warned that his political enemies will soon “bow at the name of the Lord Jesus Christ”

“The enemy cannot tell the truth,” Christmas said. “When liberals talk, they lie”

“You are on the side of Jesus Christ, or you’re on the side of the devil,” he continued. “You aren’t in between. You’re not an undecided. Undecided means you have already decided, you’ve already made the decision. The court of Heaven today only recognizes the authority of the Kingdom of God. So, every other power that is in the Earth and every other authority that exerts itself outside of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is an illegal authority. That means it has no right to enforce what it wants to enforce. So, much of what you’re seeing today, God does not recognize”

“Every knee shall bow at the name of Jesus,” Christmas bellowed. “Barbra Streisand is going to bow at the deity of Jesus Christ. George Soros is going to bow at the name of Jesus Christ. Joe Biden is gonna get on his little feeble knees, and he’s gonna bow at the name of the lord, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Nancy Pelosi will bow at the name of the lord, Jesus Christ. Every liberal Supreme Court judge will bow at the name of the lord, Jesus Christ”

Liz Crokin #conspiracy rightwingwatch.org

Over the holiday weekend, President Trump tweeted out a link to a web page that lists all of the amazing things that he has supposedly accomplished during his first year in office. Not surprisingly, MAGA Pill, the website that produced the list, turned out to be a fringe outlet that promotes wild conspiracy theories, including the work of right-wing “journalist” and crackpot conspiracy theorist Liz Crokin.

Not long before Trump tweeted out the link, MAGA Pill’s Twitter account had been promoting Crokin’s claim that the government is in possession of multiple sex tapes featuring Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin and an underage girl, which she claims would prove that the Pizzgate conspiracy theory is true.

Crokin was naturally elated by what she saw as Trump’s endorsement of her work and posted a video on YouTube yesterday claiming that Trump’s tweet of the MAGA Pill website was “a nod to myself” and “a thumb’s up” to the entire Pizzagate conspiracy theory community.

Crokin said that she had long suspected that an anonymous poster known only as “Q” who posts seemingly insider information about Trump and his administration on 4Chan forum boards may in fact be Trump himself and/or one of his high-ranking advisers. Those who follow Q’s posts are said to be “following the white rabbit” and Crokin excitedly claimed that Trump’s MAGA Pill tweet was confirmation of Q’s insider status and the accuracy of his information.

“Here is why this matters,” Crokin said. “I know for a fact that President Trump doesn’t just retweet random accounts. He vets all the people that he retweets, he vets websites that he retweets, he has his people look into these people, he has his people look into these accounts and their websites. There is absolutely no way in hell President Trump didn’t know that @MAGAPILL promotes the white rabbit, promotes Q, has been following Q. There is no way that President Trump didn’t know that MAGA Pill’s pinned tweet was a video of me—sorry, Hillary—talking about Hillary Clinton’s sex tape.”

“President Trump is very thorough,” she continued. “He is very sophisticated and he is very strategic and everything that he does has multiple meanings and he drops clues and messages and hidden messages all the time. That is how he operates, alright? So I firmly believe President Trump retweeting @MAGAPILL was a nod to MAGA Pill, was a nod to myself, was a nod to literally all the people that go on 4Chan, all the people that have been following the white rabbit, all the people that have been talking about Q, all the people that have been exposing pedogate, Pizzagate, child sex-trafficking, Uranium One, you name it. This was a nod to us, this was a nod to this community, this was President Trump giving us a thumbs-up.”

“That was his way of letting us know that Q is real,” Crokin said, “and I also believe that this is his way of letting us know Pizzagate is real, the child sex-trafficking is real and, yeah, those disgusting sex tapes exist.”

Cronkin has recently taken to fellow Pizzagate hoaxer Mike Cernovich’s newest media venture, “Cerno News,” to espouse her bizarre Pizzagate theories, including the idea that Tony Podesta wears red shoes because the Illuminati uses “The Wizard of Oz” to control the minds of its child sex slaves.

What was the name of that concert? ‘Dangerous Woman concert.’ If we could tell you what we know—and we don’t have time today—but we’re going to talk about some of those things, they literally invited these kinds of things to happen. They almost cursed themselves with this concert. I tell you what, God’s not going to put up with mockery. ‘Be not deceived, God is not mocked.’

Sher Zieve #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Sher Zieve of BarbWire says she is on to President Obama’s secret plan to “import” thousands of Muslims into the U.S. by “calling them ‘refugees’” in order to “bring in enough of them to the USA so that they can and will help him overthrow it — they follow Muhammad’s actions to usurp it and begin their own communities segregated from the rest of the people.”

In these American “Shariah Controlled Zones,” according to Zieve, “Non-Muslims had best not enter or they will be stoned…and soon, I suspect, likely worse.”

“We are now fighting for our lives and souls against as malicious and evil an enemy as ever walked the Earth,” Zieve writes. “And, like locusts, Islam does devour and destroy everything it touches.”

"Since its inception–when Muhammad chose the pagan god Ba’al as the god-leader of his new system and named it/him Allah, Islam has been a system of violence and almost unspeakable acts committed against non-believers…or Muslims who don’t practice its ways as the Imams of an area believe they should. Remember that the only time Islam and its Muslim adherents are non-violent is when there aren’t enough of them in an area to overwhelm and overcome the indigenous populations. But, when their populations grows to a certain level, the true barbarism of these people begins to immediately rear its head. We’re seeing it now in large portions of Dearborn, Michigan where Muslims have taken over and will not allow those of another faith to enter their community, let alone live there. When Muslims come into an area–and the Obama syndicate is working 24/7 to bring in enough of them to the USA so that they can and will help him overthrow it–they follow Muhammad’s actions to usurp it and begin their own communities segregated from the rest of the people. They then spread and take over more and more land, forcing out the current residents with acts of violence. In 2013 alone, Obama had over 300,000 Muslims imported and in 2014 he imported at least 70,000 more…calling them “refugees.“ This is what has happened to Dearborn, which is–for all intents and purposes–no longer part of the State of Michigan and certainly not the USA. Police will not protect non-Muslims in this area. There is a list of cities Islamists/Muslims have complied (see video link below and start at the 7 minute mark) of the major cities they plan to take over first. Thus far, there are 30 of them. When Muslims take over an area it is removed from the country and becomes pat [sic] of Islam. Bumper stickers on fences and signs warn those tempted to enter this portion of the country that it is a “Shariah Controlled Zone” and “Islamic Rule [is] Enforced.” Non-Muslims had best not enter or they will be stoned…and soon, I suspect, likely worse. I believe that we have now entered into one of the final phases of this world’s history and that Islam is the Beast. Submission to it is far worse that dying by fighting against it. In the USA, truth is now being touted as “whatever Obama says it is from one day to the next depending on his mood.” We are now fighting for our lives and souls against as malicious and evil an enemy as ever walked the Earth. It’s time we started telling the real truth about it or we will be complicit in its spread. And, like locusts, Islam does devour and destroy everything it touches."

Michael Savage #conspiracy rightwingwatch.org

Right-wing radio talk show host Michael Savage announced yesterday that the Dallas patient diagnosed with Ebola proves his conspiracy theory that President Obama is deliberately bringing in diseases to kill Americans as part of his purported war on white people. He claimed that a treasonous Obama “wants to infect the nation with Ebola,” warning that the president decided to send U.S. service members to West Africa in hopes that one of the soldiers would contract Ebola and bring it back home.

“If we had a legitimate president with a conscience he would resign,” Savage said in reaction to the Dallas Ebola case. “He would say, ‘You know what, I meant well but I screwed up at every level, I’m resigning.’ But you don’t have such a situation, you have a zealot who has no conscience.”

Savage suggested that Obama seeks to bring the Ebola epidemic to America in order to turn the U.S. into a Third World nation and bring the country down: “That’s the way to make things fair and equitable. You can’t have a nation with such good health in a world where there’s such sickness. Obama wants equality and he wants fairness and it’s only fair that America have a nice epidemic or two or three or four in order to really feel what it’s like to be in the Third World. You have to look at it from the point of view of a leftist.”

Linda Harvey #fundie rightwingwatch.org

“Those who have left homosexuality,” Harvey said, talk about how “they’ve once felt empty” and as a result want “to absorb the personality and identity of another person, even someone of the same sex because the vacant feeling inside is so great.” “When others seem to have meaning and purpose, the feelings of self-pity can be overwhelming,” she continued.

Pat Robertson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Today on the 700 Club, Pat Robertson told an elderly viewer who has been tithing since childhood that she wouldn’t have health issues, and therefore medical expenses, if she was tithing properly. The viewer said that she and her husband are “retired and living on a small pension and Social Security income” and “barely have any money” because of her husband’s medical expenses.

She asked Robertson if it would be “wrong to use [tithe] money towards medical expenses instead?”

Seeing that Robertson insisted that even people about to fall into bankruptcy must continue to tithe, we were not surprised that Robertson told the viewer no. In fact, Robertson went as far as to say that as long as she tithes she will stay healthy and as a result not even encounter medical bills.

Citing Malachi, Robertson said: “Your husband has all these medical problems because the ‘devour’ has not been rebuked. You need to rebuke him. You give your tithes faithfully and God said, ‘I will rebuke the devour,’ the person that is eating up your money and eating up your health. So you want to be healthy? That’s a promise in the Word.”

Lance Wallnau #fundie rightwingwatch.org

“I’m claiming Milo in the name of Jesus for the Kingdom of God,” Wallnau declared. “Just like [Donald] Trump was an unlikely candidate for us as a deliverer in the presidency … God hid himself in Trump, I think God is hiding himself in Milo and I’m calling him out in Jesus’ name to salvation.”

“Red rover, red rover, call Milo over,” he continued. “The church doesn’t want people like him, but God wants him in the church. Father, we call for Milo in Jesus’ name. We call, Lord, that You will break every cycle of destruction, every spirit that is assigned to him to destroy, distort, to wound and to lock him up. We pray for shafts of light to come from heaven into his heart, divine encounters with the Gospel in unique and unusual ways, we pray for Jesus to be made manifest in his dreams.”

Wallnau said that Yiannopoulos will be part of an “army of millennial young prophets who will expose the enemy” and prophesied that “Milo is going to be doing campus revivals in the future.”

Daryl Metcalfe #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Pennsylvania Rep. Gary Sims, an openly gay legislator, was blocked from speaking on the floor of the state House on Wednesday by a colleague who believed Sims’ plans to speak about the U.S. Supreme Court’s marriage decision would be in "open rebellion against God’s law.”

According to WHYY, Rep. Daryl Metcalfe raised a procedural objection to stop Sims from speaking during a part of the House session in which legislators often give wide-ranging remarks.

"I did not believe that as a member of that body that I should allow someone to make comments such as he was preparing to make that ultimately were just open rebellion against what the word of God has said, what God has said, and just open rebellion against God's law," said Metcalfe, R-Butler.

Pastor Kevin Swanson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Christian Right radio host Kevin Swanson says it is appropriate to attend a same-sex wedding but only as long as you hold up a sign calling for the happy couple to be put to death.

Taking a page from Gordon Klingenschmitt, who said that photographers should print “worthy of death” on photos of the wedding of a same-sex couple, Swanson said that guests can “attend the wedding and hold up the sign Leviticus 20:13 word for word: ‘If a man sleeps with a man as he sleeps with a woman the two of them have committed an abomination and they shall both be put to death.’ You could attend a wedding and hold up that sign.”

Bakeries, such as the Oregon cake shop that refused service to a gay couple, can do the same thing: “if you bake a cake for a homosexual wedding you can put Leviticus 20:13 on the cake.”

Swanson accused gay “fascists” of attacking the Oregon bakery, telling listeners “that the Nazi Party had their birth at a homosexual bar in Berlin…. This is what homosexuals do best and they will engage in their Pink Mafia effort to control and shut down businesses that do not cooperate with their agenda.”

Following a discussion of how same-sex weddings are “Neronic weddings” as they were developed by Nero, Swanson confessed that he finds it “mindboggling” why homosexuality is “outrageously popular” today.

Bryan Fischer #fundie rightwingwatch.org

When we look at these books of history of the Old Testament, one of the things we need to recognize is God has preserved these for us because he wants us to understand how God deals with nations, nations that have entered into some kind of a covenantal relationship with Him and we have done that. We have done that in the United States of America. Our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution represents a covenantal relationship with God.

In the Declaration of Independence we told God, look we are building the entire foundation of this political experiment on you ... So our whole approach to government, our whole approach to our political life, our shared common life is rooted and grounded in the Bible. We have made a covenant relationship with God.

We even dated both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, we dated them to the year of the birth of Jesus Christ. In fact, when the Founders, when they dated the Constitution 'the year of our Lord, 1787,' they referred to Jesus as 'our Lord." Don't let people tell you that Christ is not in the Constitution; He's in there.

Jesse Lee Peterson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Right-wing activist Jesse Lee Peterson recently delivered a sermon in which he warned his congregation not to become intellectuals because intellectualism is responsible for foisting things like gay marriage upon America.

"I notice that the people who are really into the intellect are nutcases," Peterson said. "Absolute nutcases. Because of this intellectual thing taking over and the people rule us, we now have so-called same-sex marriage. That wouldn't happen if we weren't into the intellect. Common sense would dictate that is not going to happen and common sense wouldn't care what you thought about it because we would know that that's wrong."

Intellectuals are also responsible for the fact that "we now have drag queens running around in the military," Peterson added.

"Can you imagine jumping down in a foxhole, running from bin Laden, and there is a man in there with a dress and lipstick on? It would shock you. You would rather be out with bin Laden," Peterson stated, apparently so dedicated to being anti-intellectual that he's totally unaware that Osama bin Laden was killed in 2011.

People simply need to rely "on the intellect of God," he recommended, because human intellect is a tool of the devil, which is why "all intellectual people are insecure people ... because their father is weak, their father Satan is a deceiver."

Donald Trump #fundie rightwingwatch.org

If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally wise to them. The Pope only heard one side of the story - he didn’t see the crime, the drug trafficking and the negative economic impact the current policies have on the United States. He doesn’t see how Mexican leadership is outsmarting President Obama and our leadership in every aspect of negotiation.

For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith. [Mexican leaders] are using the Pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant.

Jim Bakker #conspiracy rightwingwatch.org

While appearing on “The Strang Report” podcast yesterday, televangelist Jim Bakker warned that there is an effort afoot to “kill Trump”—both with words and physically.

Bakker told host Steve Strang of Charisma News that Donald Trump is under attack by “evil speech”: “I’ve never seen a man—especially a president—so hated and such evil speech going on. It’s beyond anything I’ve ever seen. There’s a war against our president. There’s a war against Christianity.”

Such anti-Trump rhetoric, he said, is proof that we are living in the Last Days.

Bakker said that God told him that “there’s going to be an attempt on our president’s life very soon,” lamenting that “the world is marching in the streets against our president and it is a war like I’ve never seen before.”

The church “literally elected this man,” Bakker added, noting that the president thanked Bakker personally for supporting his campaign.

“They want to kill him,” he continued. “They’re referring to him as Nixon, they want him impeached. If they cannot kill him with words, they will try to physically murder the president of the United States.”

“The adversary” is out to kill Trump, according to Bakker, because they are upset that Trump unexpectedly won the election, which he described as a “miracle” from God.

Jesse Lee Peterson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Jesse Lee Peterson, a conservative pastor and women’s suffrage opponent who is a big fan of Donald Trump, responded to the recent spate of sexual assault allegations against the GOP presidential nominee by claiming that “generation after generation of young girls have been taught” to falsely accuse men of assault and comparing women who bring such charges to Satan.

“Every man is guilty now, every man, and these accusers pour that out at will,” Peterson said on his radio program yesterday. “They get angry about something, you don’t return their call or text, they can just accuse you, because generation after generation of young girls have been taught to do this.”

In a clip from the show that Peterson posted on his YouTube channel, which he labeled “Trump’s ‘Sexual Assault’ Accusers Are Literally Satan’s Daughters,” he accompanied this assertion with an image of Bill Cosby.

“Did you know that Satan was called ‘the Accuser’?” he asked. “That was his primary name. Satan’s primary name was ‘the Accuser.’ Just let that sink in. Satan’s primary name is ‘the Accuser.’ And that’s what we have in our country now, accusers.”

Peterson lamented that boys today go out and “in their minds they are having a good time not realizing that the accuser is lurking.”

If Hillary Clinton is elected president, he said, “imagine where that’s going to go, with laws and accusers coming out—it’s going to be bad. One thing I’ve noticed about the women who have these type of heart, they don’t mind lying about it, they’ll just accuse you.”

“We live in a total different country now and Trump is fighting to make it great again,” he concluded.

Pat Robertson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

[re: Boy Scouts removing ban on gay youths]

“Two percent deciding what the rest of us does,” Robertson warned, “and they are willing to destroy it. Hollywood and the so-called liberal media has jumped on board that this is the new civil rights, well I don’t think so.”

He went on to say that it “breaks your heart” to see the Boy Scouts “torn up in order to accommodate a few kids who want to do sex with each other. It just boggles the mind.”

Jesse Lee Peterson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

On his program yesterday, Right-wing radio host Jesse Lee Peterson attacked Hillary Clinton for encouraging children to read and said that parents should never allow their kids to read the Harry Potter series.

Peterson began by declaring that Barack Obama “is going down in history as the most hated, worst, weak, poor, pathetic, pitiful excuse of a president” who brought this nation “right at the brink of destruction” until God stepped in by electing Donald Trump.

“God said, ‘Hold up, I’m not going to let this happen. Where is Trump? Jesus, go over there and talk to Trump and tell him I need him to do something for me,'” Peterson said. “And now the president is making America great again.”

Peterson then turned his attention to Clinton, who he said “keeps going down into the pits of hell, sucking the blood out of the dead and coming back, trying to hold on” to her relevance.

“That is an evil, evil, nasty, dirty woman,” he said. “Thank God, thank God, thank God she did not win as president.”

Peterson was outraged that Clinton had spoken at an American Library Association conference, where she said that books like the Harry Potter series have been proven to teach children to have compassion for those who are different.

“If that is true, immediately stop your children from reading Harry Potter,” Peterson said. “If it’s true that reading Harry Potter causes kids to be more open to immigrants and LGBT people, then you’re going to pay for brainwashing, traumatizing, turning your children away from good toward evil. I would shut down those books right away if that’s true.”

Gone Too Far #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Imagine an anti-LGBTQ gathering that included remarks by a trio of aggressively anti-gay activists—Scott Lively, Peter LaBarbera, and Brian Camenker—and now imagine that none of them was the most ridiculous, obnoxious or extreme speaker. Such was the scene at the National Press Club on Tuesday afternoon, where a new group calling itself “Gone Too Far” introduced itself with tirades against the LGBTQ equality movement, the proposed federal Equality Act, and members of the Congressional Black Caucus who support it.

Three right-wing African American pastors—Randy Short, Stephen Broden and E.W. Jackson—are part of the group’s organizing committee, as are Lively, LaBarbera, and Camenker. (Notably, the latter three were all part of a group of Religious Right leaders who defended Rep. Steve King when he was punished by his House colleagues for his most recent racist comments.) Additional organizing committee members include Arthur Shaper, head of the California branch of Camenker’s MassResistance; Paul Blair, president of Reclaiming America for Christ; and his Oklahoma clergy colleague, Dan Fisher. Blair is also a promoter of “nullification”–the notion that the individual states hold the power to nullify federal laws.

The press conference began with the blowing of a shofar, prayer, the singing of “Jesus Loves the Little Children” and “God Bless America,” and the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance. When Short took to the podium, things went downhill quickly.

“Today is a day that we declare war on those who are ungodly, unbiblical and wicked,” said Short, who is from the D.C. area and who is listed as “coordinator” of Gone Too Far on a press release. “We are sick and tired of all the deviants, all the eugenicists, all the homophiles coming out of the closet to destroy this country.” Short was particularly outraged that members of the Congressional Black Caucus, with the exception of Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, have endorsed the Equality Act, which Short called “the pedophile bill.”

“We have a group that nobody wants that has decided like a parasite to hook itself to the history and legacy of the African American people,” he said.

Short, whose Facebook page denounces “CBC QOONS,” called members of the Black Caucus “a group of infamous fakers, haters, takers, liars, excuse-makers” who “have auctioned the future of our black babies for the sodomite agenda and for the pedophile or the minor-attracted person agenda.”

“I want to say to you,” said Short, “that the Congressional Black Caucus is the equivalent of a terminal venereal disease on the body of black people in this country, and they cannot take a stand against our people being wiped out.”

Short went after iconic CBC members by name. He declared Maxine Waters to be a “fraud,” adding there is “nothing black about her—her wig is from Korea.” Of civil rights hero John Lewis, he asked, “What closet are you in, boy? They didn’t beat you enough in the 60s for you to turn on God, turn on your people, turn on morality, turn on the black woman, turn on the black unborn, turn on the black children.” Short called on them all to resign.

Saying, “We don’t need a Hitler; we’ve got LGBTQ,” Short suggested that the equality movement is a conspiracy to spread diseases to the black community and “wipe out an unwanted population of people through immorality.”

Those people who should know better, who call themselves minority leaders—who know that bowel movement and the blood shed at Edmund Pettus Bridge don’t come together. We’ve got another epidemic brought to us that’s covered up—shingles. Folks sick because folks eat bowel movement in the sexual acts they have, and now they’re injecting children, giving them these diseases, calling it vaccines, because Big Pharma makes so much money off of the new odd diseases that come out of the conduct of these folks.

Short had an odd question for the audience: “Can anyone prove that all the slaveholders were heterosexual?” And he had an answer:

You can’t scientifically prove that. So didn’t some of these gays, even though they didn’t procreate way back then, didn’t they own our people? Who was raping the boys on the plantations? What is ‘breaking the buck?’ Why don’t we know that on the plantations, black men were raped by gay white men to break them down, and now we’re unified with them, and gay is the new black? Have you lost your mind?

One of the few people Short had any kind words for was Anita Bryant, who he said was right for her anti-gay-rights crusade in the 1970s. “God bless Anita Bryant,” he said.

A cursory online search turns up other examples of Short’s unusual worldview, including a 2014 statement attributed to him that asserted, “I will always love Ayatollah Khomeini.”

Next up was Broden of Dallas, Texas, who said during his failed 2010 congressional campaign that the violent overthrow of the government should be an option “on the table” for dealing with government tyranny.

Like Short, Broden made much of language in the Equality Act, saying that the purpose of the bill is “to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation—and for other purposes.” Broden implied that “other purposes” opens the door to the potential protection of pedophilia and bestiality by civil rights laws.

Broden said the “sinister” Equality Act would encroach on religious liberty and free speech, and would essentially transfer protections of the civil rights struggle to “wealthy white men.” Said Broden. “It is the gateway to a moral depravity that will ultimately destroy this nation.”

Following Broden to the microphone was Dan Fisher, who promoted Gone Too Far’s “Proclamation for Morality.” The proclamation spends a lot of time talking about sexually transmitted diseases, anal sex, pedophilia and, of course, the horrors of Drag Queen Story Hours.

“All truth is God’s truth,” Fisher said. “And his truth applies to all people at all times and in all places. There is not one truth for men and another for women, one for blacks and another for whites, one for heterosexuals, and another for those identifying as LGBTQ.” God alone, he said, has the authority to define and regulate sexuality and marriage.

“If Congress attempts to label as a civil right that which has been understood by generations as immoral, it would not only be reversing centuries of western Judeo-Christian thought, but would be in essence, as Pastor Broden said, actually rendering historic, orthodox Christianity illegal,” Fisher said.

Next up was Stephen Black, who runs a ministry for “sexually and relationally broken people.” Black said God saved him from his gay-identified “years in darkness” and he denounced efforts by LGBTQ activists to ban conversion therapy for minors. He said the term “gay Christian” is “heresy.”

Scott Lively, the notorious globe-trotting anti-LGBTQ activist and author of “The Pink Swastika,” followed Black at the mic. (Lively ran unsuccessfully last year for the Republican nomination for governor of Massachusetts.) At the Gone Too Far event, he took special aim at the Equality Act, anti-discrimination legislation that was introduced in the 115th Congress. The Equality Act, Lively said, is not really about equality but about “LGBT supremacy.”

Lively denounced former Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, author of landmark gay-rights rulings, as “the worst enemy of the family in the history of the Supreme Court.” Lively charged that the Equality Act was meant to accomplish what he said was the LGBT movement’s goal of abolishing laws governing the age of sexual consent, as well as the legalization of prostitution and polygamy. He also said that that the transgender movement is really about promoting the “pedophilia agenda.”

After Lively came Peter LaBarbera, famed for his fondness for chronicling leather/fetish events in lurid detail as head of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality. Lively became part of Camenker’s growing MassResistance organization last year, and at this week’s press conference, he promoted the group’s tome on “the health hazards of homosexuality.”

LaBarbera said the LGBTQ movement is an anti-God, anti-normal, anti-truth, anti-moral, anti-freedom “revolution” being led by people who are “desperate to rationalize their sin.” He said gay rights activists are “accelerating their war on the church because the church, the Christian church mainly, is the last bastion of opposition to this revolution.”

Camenker wasn’t at the speaker’s table but was given a minute at the end of the press conference to say how “thrilled” he is to be part of the Gone Too Far effort. At an anti-gay gathering in 2015, Camenker said that God has “very brutal” rules for dealing with people who want to tear down the moral structure of society: they “must be destroyed.”

During a Q&A period, Broden said the Equality Act is part of a “dark, evil sinister plot to destroy America.” Tapping another right-wing conspiracy theory, Broden said the Act’s origins go back to the development of “Cultural Marxism” in Germany in the 1920s. Lively also spoke about Cultural Marxism, which he said was another name for secular humanism, which he said was a religion that elite establishment Republicans and Democrats share.

Asked by a conservative activists about Trump, who waved a rainbow flag on the campaign trail, Lively defended the president, saying he cuts Trump some slack for not doing more because he “still does not have control of the government” due to deep state activists who have their claws and tentacles dug into the Defense and State departments. “Donald Trump is God’s man in the White House,” Lively declared.

Gone Too Far is promoting “God’s Voice,” a conference being held in Oklahoma City on February 22 and 23 that is described as “a biblical response to the queering of the church.” LaBarbera and Black are among the scheduled speakers, along with radio host Janet Mefferd.

Excerpts from Randy Short’s comments at the Gone Too Far press conferenc

Alex Jones #conspiracy rightwingwatch.org

Conspiracy theorist radio host Alex Jones told viewers that globalist forces are using “unwashed masses” of liberals to enact a mass genocide of his followers in order to advance a nefarious globalist agenda.

In a YouTube video posted yesterday, Jones told viewers that because he and his followers are resistant to a globalist agenda to systematically kill off the world population, a conspiracy is underway to use “giant unwashed masses” to execute them.

“Because we won’t euthanize them and because we won’t kill them, the eugenicists are using them and preparing them as lemming armies to run over us,” Jones said. “And they want to genocide us in an act of coming of age.”

Jones claimed that his audience’s “Christian ethos to not annihilate” the public is “being used by the very eugenicists” executing the conspiracy. He went on to claim that his off-the-record “globalist” sources had asked him to join in on their “orderly extermination of these people,” but he refused.

Jones claimed the “vicious, sociopathic, psychopathic, technocracy globalists and psych warfare experts” are using Democrats to execute their plan. These Democrats, he said, are vulnerable because they are “completely lost. They are completely freaked out and they are just threatened by culture in general and they want to bully full control of it.”

David Barton #fundie rightwingwatch.org

The first belief we have in American government, in American society is that there’s a divine Creator, that’s not a personal belief, that’s an official government belief, that’s in our founding document. The first thing we say is there’s a Creator, the second thing we say is we believe the Creator gave us a certain set of rights, that are God-given inalienable rights, they exist to every person on the globe just because they were born, actually just because they were conceived quite frankly. Founding Fathers recognized abortion as a crime way back in the beginning, that’s why in the Seventh Amendment of the Constitution, part of the common law, you’re not allowed to do abortions because God gives life, not humans, humans can’t take life that God gives so it’s real simple stuff.

The seventh amendment actually says "In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise re–examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law."

Theodore Shoebat #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Extremist anti-LGBTQ activist Theodore Shoebat, who was featured in a radically anti-gay documentary made by Janet Porter called “Light Wins” along with various Religious Right activists and Republican elected officials back in 2015, posted a new video on his website last week insisting that it should not be considered a hate crime to kill “fags.”

While ranting about Tucker Carlson’s interview with Caitlyn Jenner last week and demanding that Jenner be arrested and executed for promoting “perversion,” Shoebat declared that murdering gays should not qualify as a hate crime.

“Fags kill each other all the time,” he said, “and the reason why they kill each other all the time is because they’re demon-possessed people and Satan wants them to kill each other because Satan hates humanity.”

“If someone kills a homosexual because they’re a homosexual, that should not be considered a hate crime,” he continued, “because right when you start considering that a hate crime, then you might as well just say, ‘Well, if someone kills somebody because they’re a pedophile, that should also be a hate crime.'”

Shoebat insisted that he is not advocating that people go out and kill “sodomites,” but rather merely arguing that the killing of “perverts” should not be a hate crime “because if killing the sodomite is a hate crime, then all of sudden, killing a pedophile is going to be a hate crime, all of a sudden killing a zoophiliac is going to be a hate crime.”

“It’s bullshit,” he stated. “This is all a way that the sodomites are using to normalize homosexuality.”

Rick Wiles #fundie rightwingwatch.org

On Monday, “Trunews” host Rick Wiles recounted a story about how he called the police after seeing a man taking photos of his office building, only to discover that the suspicious man was simply playing Pokémon Go on his phone.

Wiles, however, said that something sinister is afoot, warning that “these Pokémon creatures are like virtual, cyber-demons” and that “what this man, Friday, was trying to find was the Pokémon demon that had been placed inside the ‘Trunews’ office.”

“What if this technology is transferred to Islamic jihadists and Islamic jihadists have an app that shows them where Christians are located geographically?” he asked, noting that many of the app’s PokeStops and Gyms include churches and other houses of worship.

“The enemy, Satan, is targeting churches with virtual, digital, cyber-demons,” Wiles said, before adding: “I believe this thing is a magnet for demonic powers.”

Wiles went on to claim that “Pokémon masters” may soon start “telling people to kill people in those buildings” in order to catch more Pokémon, comparing the use of the App to Philando Castile’s girlfriend use of Facebook Live to live stream the aftermath of Castile’s shooting by a police officer, which he said might have been staged.

This conversation led “Trunews” cohost Edward Szall to read a fake quote from the creator of Pokémon allegedly endorsing Satanism.

“They’re spawning demons inside your church,” Wiles said. “They’re targeting your church with demonic activity.” He then again warned that “this technology will be used by the enemies of the cross to target, locate and execute Christians.”

Focus on the Family #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Religious Right groups are encouraging conservative Christian high school and college students this week to counter last Friday’s “Day of Silence” with a “Day of Dialogue” promoting traditional views on sexuality.

Religious Right organizations have long been hostile toward the Day of Silence, a project of pro-LGBTQ group GLSEN that encourages students to take a vow of silence during a Friday in April. This year’s Day of Silence, the 21st annual observation of the day, was last Friday, April 21, and was supported by social media campaigns and celebrity participation. Says GLSEN, “This quiet but powerful, student-led action raises awareness about the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying, harassment and discrimination.”

But Religious Right groups charge that it stigmatizes students who hold a traditionalist view of what the Bible says about gender, sexuality, and marriage. Last year, for example, the American Family Association urged parents to keep their children home if the Day of Silence was being observed in their school. As this year’s Day of Silence approached, dozens of Religious Right groups endorsed a “Day of Silence Walk Out” campaign, denouncing “this hijacking of the classroom for political purposes.”

Focus on the Family is promoting another response, a “Day of Dialogue” scheduled for Friday, April 28. Focus on the Family calls the Day of Dialogue “a free speech event for students” that “creates a safe space for students to express a biblical viewpoint in a loving and grace-filled manner.” Focus on the Family started sponsoring the Day of Dialogue in 2010 when Exodus International decided to drop its version, the Day of Truth.

The guide for parents and pastors promotes the Day of Dialogue as an opportunity “to encourage students that they have nothing to be ashamed of when expressing their deeply held biblical convictions.” It includes a PowerPoint presentation that youth pastors and others can use to encourage students to participate.

The student guide asks, “Do you wish your classmates could hear more of the story—like the truth about God’s deep love for us and what the Bible really says about His redemptive design for human relationships? Wouldn’t it be nice if a deeper and freer conversation could happen when controversial sexual topics are brought up in your school?” When it comes to the rights and dignity of LGBT people, history suggests that such reasonable-sounding “live and let live” rhetoric from Religious Right groups should be taken with a big grain of salt.

The Day of Dialogue tells students to remain “respectful and loving” if someone responds in anger, while “remaining confident and bold in communicating your perspective and standing firm on your First Amendment right to share it.” The student guide includes a legal memo from Alliance Defending Freedom clarifying students’ rights to share their religious beliefs with fellow students.

Students are encouraged to distribute “conversation cards” that include a testimony about Jesus and a pledge to oppose bullying. The card ends with, “I also believe God cares about us so much that He designed the best, loving plan for our relationships and sexuality. Let’s talk about it.”

Among the “conversation starters” are materials on the “complementary qualities” of men and women. Focus on the Family assures students that God “has a special place in His heart for people who messed up sexually” and can heal and transform “sexual brokenness.”

Lance Wallnau #fundie rightwingwatch.org

On Tuesday, conservative pastor Lance Wallnau appeared on “The Jim Bakker Show” to discuss President Trump’s inauguration and the Women’s March on Washington.

Wallnau said he knows the real reason that millions of people marched against the new president the day after the inauguration: Upon taking office, Trump evicted an evil spirit of witchcraft from the White House, causing that demonic spirit to go out into the general population.

“What I believe is happening is there was a deliverance of the nation from the spirit of witchcraft in the Oval Office,” he said. “The spirit of witchcraft was in the Oval Office, it was about to intensify to a higher level demon principality, and God came along with a wrecking ball [Trump] and shocked everyone, the church cried out for mercy and bam—God knocked that spirit out, and what you’re looking at is the manifestation of an enraged demon through the spirit.”

If Trump had lost the election, Bakker said, America would have seen “a destruction, a total end of the church.”

Glenn Beck #fundie rightwingwatch.org

All last week, Glenn Beck promised that he would make a major announcement on Monday morning about some new campaign, saying "I believe my entire life has led to this point."

This morning, Beck made that announcement but, in typical Beck fashion, he first spent nearly an hour and a half delivering a long-winded and self-aggrandizing monologue full of references to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Mahatma Gandhi, and Martin Luther King and passages of Scripture as he railed about how America has gone completely off the rails, fuming that this nation only cares about things like Caitlyn Jenner, abortion rights, and transableism at a time when Christians are being slaughtered by ISIS in the Middle East.

"We are no longer a country that I recognize," he said. "We are no longer a people that I recognize. We are no longer a nation in which I care to call myself a member of. We've become a place where our citizenship is more of an indictment than an honor ... We are a country that has not only lost its way, but history will show that we have lost our ever-loving minds."

Eventually, Beck finally got around to announcing a new "Never Again Is Now" campaign to raise awareness of the crisis in the Middle East and a relief effort organized by his Mercury One charity to provide supplies and aid to those displaced and threatened by ISIS.

But there is more to the effort than simply providing relief to the victims of ISIS, as Beck is personally launching a speaking tour of churches in order to wake up Americans to the threat posed by things like gay marriage and to train them to carry out boycotts, civil disobedience, and nonviolent resistance ... and just like Martin Luther King, Beck will be kicking this effort off in Birmingham, Alabama.

"If you think there is trouble now, what happens when the Supreme Court decides to say that homosexual marriage is the law of the land?" Beck asked. "Will this administration then force our churches to comply? Will you be forced to violate your own faith? We must together wake the most powerful force on earth: the people of God."

"I'm going to begin," he continued, "where Martin Luther King began. On 8/28, I'm going to be in Birmingham, Alabama in a church just down the street from where Martin Luther King began his historic stand against Bull Connor ... We are going to begin to gather like-minded people and we are going to begin to train ourselves for non-violent resistance and civil disobedience. We're going to begin to train ourselves for boycotts and sit-ins. We're going to do all of the things that we thought were too radical or too hippy-like to do because we have to understand that we are now David and Goliath has all of the power. But we all know how that story ends."

Dave Brat #fundie rightwingwatch.org

President Obama can never seem to win with Republicans, who seem to attack him for not talking about the Bible enough and then attack him even harder when he does.

Take, for example, American Family Radio host Sandy Rios’ interview yesterday with Rep. Dave Brat, R-Va., in which Brat expressed his anger that Obama cited Christian teachings when he criticized Republicans for their attempts to block the resettlement of Syrian refugees in the U.S.

The president, Brat said, “is using the Christian tradition and trying to bring about compassion by bonking Republicans over the head with the Bible. It’s almost a comedy routine on what compassion and love is. He’s mocking his enemies in order to compel a larger federal state using the tradition of love.”

He said that the conservative movement “needs to reeducate its people that we own the entire tradition” of Christian love, because liberal professors “have rejected natural law” and religious ideas.
