It's normal in their culture
School shootings, illiteracy, and the constant shrieks of religious institutions that they’re being oppressed are normal in American culture, that mean anybody trying to change or even prosecute that should stop?
Silent acceptance makes this shit normal even in places where it is NOT normal. I NEVER want this to be MY normal and that you’re pushing for silent acceptance says a bit about the kind of normal you’d be accepting of.
So when you need to have sex against your own will - it is a bad and unwanted thing - but it isn't the most atrocious thing happening in the world.
For most it is. Those who fear it, those who experience it, it’s sometimes much harder to carry on especially if people around them act like it’s nothing.
But you know what really isn’t the most atrocious thing? Following laws you don’t like. Age of consent, domestic abuse, anti-discrimination, freedom of religion including freedom from religion, don’t spread the plague, all that woke shit. Tell me… how hard has that been for you? What would it take for that to hit closer to home?
Maybe discuss it over some tea?
