One of my commenters asks “Why not just become Muslim?”

I presume he means conservative Muslim, since a whole lot of Muslims are pozzed, are not breeding and not getting any pussy.

That is the Mormon solution (control women’s socialization) plus the orthodox Jewish solution (make female status artificially low), plus the ever popular individual male solution (illegal violence or the quiet potential for it) plus you turn off the Cathedral’s ever vigilant immune system plus you have a pre-existing community. (Just grow a wildman beard, attend mosque, and you are in like Flynn.) If you want to marry those eighteen year old socially conservative virgins, you need high socioeconomic status (they are in high demand), which leads to a problem with the wildman beard (tricky to have high socioeconomic status with the wildman beard), but that one is easier to navigate than political correctness, plus if you are Muslim you get a pass for all political incorrectness relating to gays and women. No one is going to ask a Halal bakery to bake a gay wedding cake. I see a lot of engineers putting on a dress and declaring that they are trans women in order to get ahead. Declaring yourself to be a Muslim almost makes you trans brown. Should be almost as good for your career as declaring yourself a trans woman, a whole lot better for your sex life than declaring yourself a trans woman, and the wildman beard is not nearly as bad as the dress. You also get a free pass to be manly, which helps with the ridiculous beard. If you lift iron and do a little bit of high intensity training, the beard will not look quite as bad.

Plus this is the solution we are going to get if we don’t do anything dramatic, if we continue to drift along our present course, if the passengers don’t attack the cockpit and kill whoever is flying the plane to its doom. Wherever we get data on Muslim births in Western countries the data shows that Muslims are massively outbreeding the natives. I assume this is conservative Muslims, since anecdote suggests that pozzed Muslims have the same dreadfully low reproductive rate as pozzed Jews. Islam is quietly becoming the official religion, in that sacrilege against Islam effectively carries the death penalty (in most western countries if you drop bacon on the pavement outside a mosque the judge will give you a jail term comparable to that which he gives for raping and murdering small children, and while you are in jail some Muslims will kill you while the prison authorities turn a blind eye, like the blind eye Berkeley police turn to black bloc beating up pro-trump protestors) while sacrilege against Christianity is almost mandatory: (Gay wedding cake, Church required to pay for abortions, Pope kisses the feet of aids infested homosexual transvestite prostitutes, government funded sacrilegious “art”, free pass for gays and feminists to physically attack Christians and disrupt religious services.)

What we need to do is import the good parts of Islam into Christianity: Patriarchy, repression of women, execution of homosexuals, holy war, intolerance of sacrilege, intolerance of heresy, and intolerance of apostacy. Retain the good bits of Christianity, the trinity, the attitude to logic, reason and law, the Orthodox communion of the saints, where the final authority on faith, doctrine, interpretation of the bible, and morals, is ancient Christians. Keep the Episcopalian married clergy, plus Episcopalian subordination to earthly authority. Decorate the result with a few Episcopalian symbols and call the result Episcopalianism, and make it the official state religion of the US empire in place of progressivism, with all other religions subordinated to it, second class, and unequally backed by the state. In school, kids get taught that official Episcopalianism is wise, good, and right, and all other religions are stupid, much as today they are taught that official progressivism is wise, good, and right, and all other religions (except possibly Islam) are stupid and evil.

Whitney Cummings once said, “Porn isn’t bad. Men watching porn is like women watching The Food Network: we’re both watching things we’re never going to freaking do.” Feminists led the efforts to ban child pornography in the late 1970s, and will continue trying to demonize men for indulging their curiosity in, or getting aroused by, “deviant” forms of sexuality, and for exploiting women, even as women (especially feminist women, who often are excited by rape fantasies — not that there’s anything wrong with that) indulge in their own violent, sadomasochistic pornography by reading Fifty Shades of Grey. It’s hypocritical and a double standard.

Feminists have even gotten porn involving 17-year-old girls declared “child pornography,” despite the fact that these girls would, until very recently, have been considered nubile (i.e. of marriageable age), rather than children. It is just another way of shaming men for having normal sexual desires. Young women are at the peak of their fertile years, so it is natural for men to want to have sex with them, and understandable that some men would resort to pornography as a more easily obtainable substitute.

In a way, it shouldn’t be all that surprising that some men want to have sex even with girls who haven’t reached puberty. There are, after all, men who will have sex with women (e.g. the wife they’ve been married to for 30 years) who are so old as to be infertile, so why wouldn’t there be men who would have sex with girls who are too young to be fertile? It’s been theorized that sex serves a number of purposes besides reproduction (for example, giving couples another reason to stay together to raise their children). It doesn’t seem all that farfetched that, in the race among men to be the first to get the youngest and freshest girls as they come on the market, some men would end up going so far as to go for prepubescent girls, erring on the side of too young rather than too old.

There’s also Rule 34, “If it exists, there’s porn of it”; for whatever reason, the human mind seems to have a limitless ability to fetishize anything. “Normal” people download videos of bukkake and Roman showers, yet somehow child porn is deviant? These distinctions are political, not scientific. As Darian Meacham’s Medicine and Society, New Perspectives in Continental Philosophy notes, “Immediately after the APA board’s decision to delete homosexuality from their manual, Irving Bieber publicly asked Spitzer whether he would consider deleting other sexual deviations from DSM, too. Spitzer answered: ‘I haven’t given much thought to [these problems] and perhaps that is because the voyeurs and the fetishists have not yet organized themselves and forced us to do that’.”

It also shouldn’t be too surprising that some men are attracted to young boys. According to the Super Gay Uncles Theory, one reason for homosexuality’s existence might be so that there are extra men around to provide nurturance to children in their extended families. Wouldn’t pedophilic desires for boys tend to create an incentive to provide even more nurturance, as a form of child grooming (which some pederasts have likened to heterosexual dating, in which the wealthier older man pays for the dates)? This is the basic thrust of the classic essay, The Descent of Chester.

The Devil's crowd, which certainly includes LGBT groups, is not going to back off and stop their attack against Christian fundamentalists (those who preach the Bible as literal), until we completely shut-up and embrace the homosexual agenda. Which is worse?

Kindly, homosexuals are sexual deviates, because God says that homosexuality is a sin, and they are wilfully indulging in sexual immorality. Do you think that such ungodly homosexuals have enough morality to abstain from sexually molesting the little children legally forced into their care? At a minimum, that child is going to be robbed of a mother or father. Same-sex parenting is unhealthy for a child's proper gender identity. It is insane in fact! A boy without a fatherly image and mentor is going to grow up to be an effeminate sissy, not knowing how to fight, hunt and stand for what is right. A girl growing up without a motherly image and mentor is not going to know how to be a mother and wife. It is an abomination in God's eyes!!!

Entrusting a child to two homosexuals is like trusting a pack of hungry dogs with your chicken dinner. Get mad at me if you want, but many studies have been done evidencing what I am warning people about. Case in point, President Vladimir Putin, highest leader of Russia, has done everything possible to ban homosexuals from adopting children. Communist Russia is Now Safer for Children Than America; President Putin Bans Queer Adoptions. That speaks volumes! When asked by the religious hypocrites if the woman caught in the act of adultery should be stoned as Moses commanded, our Lord lovingly said, John 8:7, “So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” Thus, we learn that it is never Biblical to condemn anyone for their sins, because we are just as guilty of sin in the sight of a holy God (Romans 2:1).

Yet, it is still Biblical that all sin brings death (Romans 6:23), and certain sins are listed as crimes in the Holy Bible, which are deserving of capital punishment, which a godly government would enforce. Such crimes include murder, bestiality, adultery, homosexuality, witchcraft, idolatry and incest. When the United States of America was founded, homosexuality was thought worthy of capital punishment. Thus, it is not being unChristlike to uphold the Biblical truth that homosexuals should be executed as criminals, just as murders and adulterers. Jesus was not in a position of government authority as a judge, and so as a citizen He showed compassion for His fellow mankind. If Jesus were physically alive on earth today, He would never accept the position of a judge in America, because He would have to enforce ungodly laws that permit murder by abortion, permit same-sex perversion, permit wicked divorces and hordes of other evils.

Homosexuals are playing with fire. Homosexuality is known for spreading AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). AIDS didn't exist until the early 1980's, and it began with the homosexual community in New York City. Curse from God? You decide!

One fact is sure—homosexuality and AIDS are synonymous!!! Legendary lead singer, Freddie Mercury, of the rock band Queen, died at age 45 from AIDS. He reportedly had homosexual lovers all over the world. Tragically, he is now burning in Hell, as is Zoroaster, the false prophet he followed.

Homosexuality is a lot more common nowadays that you might think and lesbianism seems to be leading the way in popularity. Pornography and lesbianism are synonymous. Got AIDS yet? I mean no unkindness toward those who suffer with AIDS. I realize that many people who have contracted AIDS did so through means other than sexual immorality. Heck, you can get AIDS from your dentist if he doesn't take the necessary precautions to protect you from tainted blood. The purpose of my article is not to criticize those with AIDS. I am simply trying to warn people that the homosexual lifestyle is synonymous with the AIDS virus.

So, here's a thought.. 30-50 years ago few kids even thought about gay marriage let alone marriage in their teens.

Secondly, schools now basically encourage homosexual relationships in sex ed and other classes by promoting it as a valid lifestyle choice. If you teach kids that something is ok, while it is also illegal expect bad results... but I'm sure that is on purpose by the deviant powers that be.

Kids haven't been able to carry religious texts for years in schools... and yet they can carry thier smartphones full of cussing, race baiting and sexualization of thier peers without any oversight.

Thirdly, the second case increases over time to include peer pressure to commit homosexual acts or enter into homosexual relationships.

If you want suicide rates to go down... quite pressuring kids. A) into having early relationships B) have kids dress modestly but with the freedom to express themselves intact ... in other words pre-teens and teens show not be sexualizing their appearance. C) block their blasted phones from communicating through private apps some of that stuff that goes on there is probably 4chan-lite D) parents, parents parents,... they must be involved a good home is imperative to healthy development. E) Ensure that kids are engaged and interested in what they are learning... acutally I think a mix of vocational training, and *gasp* work, would vastly improve success rates. Kids that have busy minds and feel useful aren't going to seek out invalid methods of fitting into society when they are already well on their way to being productive socially functional adults.

Don't vote me down if you are against what I say.... I've lived a moderately sheltered life and have never even thought of suicide. Just because you were brought up to think the direction modern society has taken is good doesn't mean that is better than what I was brought up to think. I am happy despite the many problems of life can you say the same?

Homosexuals are relentlessly trying to have laws passed to silence Bible-believing Christians. Thankfully, the Bible will never be silenced. God's Word stands true against homosexuality (Romans 1:18-32), and no matter how much they may try to eradicate the Bible from society, it won't happen. Even if homosexuals were successful in silencing all those who disagree with their sinful lifestyle, it wouldn't make them any happier. God is still on His throne. No one can truly be happy while living in rebellion against God. Sin always brings misery! AIDS isn't going away.

The homosexual community thinks they'll be happy if only they can live in a society that openly accepts homosexuals; BUT, no one can be happy while living with AIDS. Oh sure, there's a temporary happiness that comes from sinful pleasure; BUT, there can be no peace and joy in one's soul until a person makes things right with God. The Bible is clear in Isaiah 48:22, "There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked."

Last week, the Washington Supreme Court ruled unanimously that florist Barronelle Stutzman had violated the state’s anti-discrimination law when she refused service to a customer seeking to purchase flowers for a same-sex wedding.

Predictably, the ruling did not sit well with extremist anti-LGBTQ Religious Right activist Bryan Fischer, who railed against the “gay Gestapo” on his radio broadcast last Friday, comparing the decision to Kristallnacht, the infamous “Night of Broken Glass” in which thousands of Jewish homes, businesses and synagogues were looted and destroyed in Nazi Germany.

“This is the gay Gestapo,” Fischer said, “these are the jack-booted homosexual fascists of the LGBT movement; they are imposing tyranny and they are imposing slavery. They are bringing these things back to America.”

“Remember what Kristallnacht was,” he continued. “That was where the Nazis went though the Jewish parts of Berlin and they broke windows, they set businesses on fire, they shut them down, they drove Jewish people out of their homes and set their houses on fire. Now I’m not saying that’s what the homosexual fascists are doing today; you know, they’re using judges’ gavels instead of lead pipes. That’s what they’re doing, but it’s the same deal. This is Kristallnacht. They’re trying to put this woman out of business, they’re trying to shut her down, they’re trying to evict her from her home, that’s where they tried to go with this thing. Grandmother a Victim of Modern-day Kristallnacht

The homosexual fascists of the LGBT movement have claimed another scalp in their relentless quest to purge Christians from what the Washington State Supreme Court called “the commercial marketplace.” While the target of the Nazis was the Jews, Christians are the target of the modern day Brownshirts. The only difference is that the weapon of choice for homosexual activists is a gavel rather than a lead pipe.

Baronelle Stutzman is a grandmother with a sweet demeanor who has never been accused by anyone of unkindness or incivility. Yet yesterday the Washington State Supreme Court unanimously labeled her a hate-filled homophobic bigot.

Her crime? Politely declining to use her artistic talent to promote same sex marriage. The two homosexual men who approached her to do a floral arrangement for their “wedding” were valued customers of Ms. Stutzman, even friends, proof that she did not discriminate against them or anyone else. She even recommended nearby florists who would be happy to help them.

But her own conscience, animated by foundational Christian and biblical principle, would not permit her to promote same-sex marriage. As a consequence, the Snidely Whiplash of the Evergreen State, attorney general Bob Ferguson, literally sued her for everything she owns. Although he had to grit his teeth and settle for a fine, Ferguson wanted not just to take the assets of her business but her personal assets as well. It was his goal to strip her, a 70-year-old grandmother, of her business, her possessions, her bank accounts, and her house and leave her homeless and naked on the curb.

Ferguson at one point said Ms. Stutzman’s First Amendment rights have not been violated because she can still believe whatever she wants about homosexual marriage. But Ferguson is wrong. The First Amendment does not just protect the freedom to believe Christian principle, it protects the freedom to act on it.

The specific guarantee is for the “free exercise” of religion, a constitutional right American Christians possess 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including the time they spend running a business. It is an inalienable right they have received from the Creator, which means no earthly authority, including the Washington State Supreme Court, has the constitutional or moral authority to take it away from anyone.

I have been using the term “Gay Gestapo” for years, but lesbian columnist Tammy Bruce recently popularized the term, when talking about the Christian bakers in Oregon who got fined $135,000 and put out of business for making a decision similar to the one Ms. Stutzman made. Ms. Bruce is scandalized by the mean-spiritedness and raw hatred that animates the homosexual movement. There certainly is hate in the debate over homosexual rights, but it is not coming from conservatives. It is coming from the homosexual left.

Ms. Bruce pointed out that the Gay Gestapo is bringing both tyranny and slavery back to America. When you compel someone to violate his conscience, what else is that but tyranny? And when you compel someone to labor against his will, what else is that but slavery? The only one being discriminated against here is Baronelle Stutzman.

Ferguson said the verdict “sends a clear message around the country as well.” It surely does. It sends the message that the LGBT crowd is not about marriage equality but homosexual supremacy. For gay activists, it is homosexuality uber alles.

We as a culture must understand that, to put it colloquially, this is a duel to the death. The conflict between religious liberty and homosexuality is a zero-sum game. In every clash, somebody wins and somebody loses. Every advance of the homosexual agenda comes at the expense of religious liberty. We cannot have both special rights based on homosexual behavior and religious liberty at the same time. One will be forced to give way to the other.

One of the plaintiffs claimed he was happy to be on the “right side of history.” Well, the issue is not being on the right side of history, it’s being on the right side of right. It’s being on the right side of the Constitution, and it’s being on the right side of God’s moral law. The Washington Supreme Court isn’t.

Ms. Stutzman has appealed her case to the Supreme Court. Even if the Court takes the case, the same five unelected lawyers who imposed same-sex marriage on the country are still there, and certainly will be sharpening their gavels to stick it to this grandmother as soon as they get the chance.

President Trump, in the run-up to the election you pledged that you would protect religious liberty, that you would be a champion for Christians whose rights to the free exercise of religion are being trampled on a daily basis in this country. Here is your chance to prove that wasn’t just an empty campaign promise. Direct your attorney general, Jeff Sessions, to draft the mother of all amicus briefs to support Ms. Stutzman in her appearance before the Supreme Court.

And issue your executive order on religious liberty. NOW. Don’t wait another day. It’s masterfully crafted, and will make you and your administration the friend of religious liberty instead of its enemy. If you sign it and issue it, it will instantly become the Magna Carta of religious liberty for this generation.

There is no time to waste. How many more grandmothers will have to face the loss of everything they own before their president comes to their side?

I STAND WITH MILO 100000% -- Homosexuality is caused by sexual abuse. He was abused by "Father Michael"

Let's look thoughtfully at this quote from Milo, who has spoken openly about his sexual abuse:

"In the homosexual world, particularly, some of those relationships between younger boys and older men — the sort of ‘coming of age’ relationship — those relationships in which those older men help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable, sort of rock, where they can’t speak to their parents."

These are the words of a VICTIM. Milo has openly talked about his sexual abuse, as well as being taken advantage of by a so-called "Father Michael" (who he defends) and what you see above is the rationalization of a victim.

No man is naturally gay. Homosexuality is a direct result of childhood sexual abuse in 99.9999% of ALL CASES.

My heart goes out to Milo. He's confused. He is lost on this issue. He has a good heart, and now the Fake News Mafia is trying to destroy him.

A California Senate committee today advanced SB 1172, a bill that would help protect citizens from harmful, ineffective ex-gay therapy. The law does not outright ban all ex-gay therapy, but it does prohibit anyone under the age of 18 from undergoing sexual orientation change efforts. It also requires that any prospective patient sign an informed consent form that includes the following disclaimer:

"Having a lesbian, gay, or bisexual sexual orientation is not a mental disorder. There is no scientific evidence that any types of therapies are effective in changing a person's sexual orientation. Sexual orientation change efforts can be harmful. The risks include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, and self-destructive behavior.

Medical and mental health associations that oppose the use of sexual orientation change efforts include the American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the American Counseling Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy."


Against this, if a gay christian teen wants to pursue this, then that's their choice, not the governments. If California is ok with snake oils like healing crystals(as somebody already pointed out), then I see no reason to not allow people to pursue other kinds of snake oils(like pray the gay away).

but it's not their choice, it's a choice parents are making for them. that's why the law is specifically aimed at legal minors.

Like I said, if gay christian teenagers want to pursue pray-the-gay-away places let them. If the teenager makes the choice, why can't they pursue it


Because ex-gay-therapy does not work.

Because there is no way to prove that it is the teenager's choice and not their parents forcing them to do it.

Because it is inherrently harmful to the teenager's metal health.

If they want it, they can wait until their 18 to undertake it. There's a laundry list of treatments, "Treatments", procedures, and other such things you can't legally do as a teenager


You didn't read my post did you? I said the "therapy" was a snake oil. As for consent, how do I know that a teenager likes the a certain kind of music, or likes a certain kind of fashion and it isn't their parents forcing them? Simple, I ask them if that is what they want. If a kid can operate a machine that can kill multiple(a car), they can choose to go to a pray-the-gay-away place.

I'll be honest and say that I don't know how you would make sure its their choice.

Again, if it can be shown that the teen has chosen to go through with this therapy, they should be allowed to go through with it. If the state is so concerned with people doing things that harm them, why are people allowed to drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, or each cheese burgers?

Alcohol, cigarettes and cheese burgers are legal. Although in Norway these things are not legal for teens save your "cheese burger". Where did that come from?

Which part of harmful practice are you not getting? I am pretty sure they didn't sit down one day and said! "Lets ban this". There is research behind this and they conclude that this is not healthy practice. Google up on teen gay suicides to get a picture of what it is about. The teenage mind is a fragile thing that should not be messed with by religious nut jobs playing at being Sigmund Freud. They have no business telling kinds they are not normal for being what they are.

So then if this form of "therapy" is harmful, why allow anybody to take it? If it really is to help people, then why only prevent teens from taking it? Which goes back to my point about cigarettes, alcohol and cheese burgers. If the state is just trying to look out for the health of its citizens, then why are the other things I mentioned allowed to be consumed by the general public?

As has been pointed out, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited to minors. Should they not be?

My point was that if the therapy is harmful, then why is allowed when a person becomes a adult? If the state is trying to prevent people from harming themselves, shouldn't they care about adults as much as they do children(both are people and both are citizens)? And if they do try to pass a bill to ban this "therapy" for adults, then why not ban other things that harm adults like alcohol, cigarettes and cheese burgers?

Ok Escapist community, this is a two part question, the first on justification for cultural imperialism and the second on the different views of morality.

First issue:
Now I just finished reading an article on Malawi law that bands homosexuals and one particular section of the article made me feel uneasy. It stated that,

"On Tuesday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the US would use foreign aid to encourage countries to decriminalise homosexuality. UK Prime Minister David Cameron expressed a similar view in October, saying that gay rights were a human right."

The article later went on to state that "Homosexual acts are illegal in most African countries, where they are often viewed as un-Christian and un-Islamic" and the President of Malawi, Bingu wa Mutharika, called homosexuality "evil and very bad before the eyes of God".

I don't know how to feel about the whole situation, because while I don't think it should considered a criminal act, I am also uncomfortable with the reactions I see from the Western political leaders, the reason being is that their attempts to manipulate the laws in Malawai on homosexuality come off as a subtle form of cultural imperialism. What I mean is do Western Nations have the right to manipulate the laws of other countries if they go against the social norms of Western culture? Is it wrong for western nations to try to manipulate others so that they agree with the social norms of western culture?

Second Issue:
When I read the article on Malawai, it made me think of another question on morality, does Moral Universalism exist, or does Moral Relativism exist? I bring this up because, I don't think homosexuality should be outlawed and that it is wrong to do otherwise, and I think that if I was to believe in Moral Universalism, then I would also feel that it is wrong for those African countries to have such a law. However, if I subscribe to the idea that Moral Relativism exist, then while I might not agree with such laws, I guess I would feel that those laws were just a reflection of the morals of the various African cultures and not automatically "wrong". Tbh, I'm not sure how I would feel about the African laws if I followed the idea of Moral Nihilism.Articles such as these give me the impression that Western leaders believe in the idea of Moral Universalism, but what about you? People of Escapist, do you believe in Moral Universalism, Moral Relativism, or Moral Nihilism?

I have very little problem with the idea of cultural imperialism for the purposes of preventing the institutionalized murder of thousands.

People who take the side of evil will INEVITABLY take the side AGAINST that which is good. This is a major sin; and, honestly, anyone who doubts the truth needs to seriously spend some time in prayer with God, before opening their mouths again and pushing people much further into bondage. Christ is liberty; it is up to Christians to get all of our arrogant assumptions and misconceptions out of the way, and let Christ free the trapped souls.
I don't have much patience for Christians who pretend they are "concerned" about this issue, but doubt God's truth - acting as though they, somehow, are more intelligent than God. Those people have issues.

[On those who can't "pray away the gay" even after years or fall back]

People spend too much time doubting the power of Christ, and living - instead - an entirely grace-less, self-indulgent life. The truth of the gospel is that Christ's life actually comes to life within your body, and you are no longer alive - you have been made dead in Him. So, there is nothing to complain about, if the God who created the universe and loved us enough to send His Son to become sin on our behalf, dwells in our very body!
Sure, life has its challenges; but, there is not a man or woman on earth who does not have challenges in life! People need to rise up out of their victim-mentality, their supreme self-indulgence, and let Christ have the pre-eminence in their lives. Only then will they be filled with the "fullness of joy" of glorifying God with every "word and deed," and they will love their lives in Christ so much, no matter where He takes them.
So, I reject the victimhood approach. If I were to say that a person who struggles with homosexual temptations were any different than a person who struggles with other temptations, I would be only observing one - selected - portion of reality, rather than the whole thing. And, in that unity of mankind, Christ understands what we're all going through, because he was in all ways tempted just as we are, but without sin. Thus, he can succor those of us that suffer - WHICH IS ALL OF US! It's about how you view your walk through life. If it's all about you, you, you, you're probably going to whine and complain a lot - ultimately, directly rebelling against God, doubting His Goodness, and suggesting He isn't powerful enough for you! But, if you submit - recognize, as a Christian you're dead in Christ... essentially "get over yourself," - you will find the true liberty in the grace of God, which will take you through some remarkable places, including deliverance from sins and a far better life lived for the true glory of the living God. But, don't take my word for it - or, you're bound to just think I'm an opinionated man with no compassion. Study the Bible. Get to know God yourself. It's your choice.
Many people fail because a part of them would rather wallow in despair than accept the fullness of God's grace. It is a subtle form of pride; no surprise full healing can't happen amidst that kind of a spiritual condition!!!

No group is better at this satanic strategy than the “gay” political movement, which was an unstated reason why open homosexuals were never allowed into the intelligence agencies in the history of the nation, a policy upheld by the none other than the 9th Circuit US Appeals Court in the 1990 case, “High Tech Gays v. My guess based solely on my knowledge of the “gay” movement and Obama’s personal priorities, is that the today’s alphabet soup of intelligence agencies could easily be condensed to just four letters: LGBT, since that’s almost certainly who’s driving the agenda evidenced in the ongoing treasonous sabotage of the Trump administration.

More critical to the process of creating the false reality by which the far left has steered American public policy for decades is the mainstream media. Again, an industry so heavily dominated by “gays” and homosexualists that there is no longer even a pretense of balance on stories related to LGBT issues. Pro-family views are openly equated with racism and denied inclusion in news reporting. That same subjectivity and arrogance drives their narrative on their entire slate of issues.

My greatest concern about the Trump administration is that secular-minded advisors will allow self-defeating politically-correct assumptions to convince them to leave the “gays” in the swamp, assuming that will win them points with the ultra-powerful LGBT lobby and the larger progressive community it dominates, as well as crossover libertarian and secularist constituencies.

My prayer is that President Trump will awaken to the correlation of anti-Trump radicalism on the left with the “gay” movement and realize that on virtually any issue one can name the most aggressive liars and agitators are homosexuals and their closest surrogates, and that these people absolutely, positively cannot be placated (just ask the Boy Scouts of America). In other words, there is a spiritual dimension to the culture war in which the key common denominator is LGBT affiliation.

I call on Mr. Trump to adopt my earlier recommendation to establish a “Separation of LGBT and State” as outlined here.

I further urge him to take the bold and courageous step of revoking Executive Order 12968 and restoring the ban on “gays” in the intelligence agencies as it existed until 1990.

As I mentioned, not too long ago I attended a local Independent Baptist Church for about a year, and boy were my eyes opened to the apostasy in churches today. Although I tolerated their New-Evangelicalism because I wanted to help them, they refused to tolerate my fundamental Christian views. They confronted me on a Wednesday evening after handing the senior pastor a copy of Dr. Al Lacy's “NIV: The Antichrist's Bible,” and also “I Never Knew You” (.pdf) by Michael Bowen, which are both awesome books! Well, I might as well have handed them a Penthouse smutty magazine. In fact, if I had handed them a dirty-girly-magazine, they likely would have scolded me and said they'll pray for me, but I doubt if they would have told me to get out and don't come back. The truthful books that I gave those pastors scared them, because if church members read them it would open their eyes and expose their pastors as heretics. The truth hurts, but it needs to be said. I'm not going to stop preaching the truth to keep anybody!

I had also given a copy of I Never Knew You to the pastor's son-in-law (an associate pastor in the church) one Sunday evening at church, who after inviting me over for dinner the next day on Monday with his wife, blew-me-off and never even explained why he cancelled the dinner invitation. The book had greatly offended him. You don't invite someone to dinner, and then just forget about them. People can be so mean.

The Bible calls homosexuals “sodomites,” and that is a perfectly proper word to use, and we ought to use that Biblical term!!! Homosexuals are called “sodomites” after the wicked city of Sodom in the Old Testament. Sodom was a place of wickedness. In Genesis 19:1-11 we read about a lustful mob of homosexuals, who attempted to break down Lot's door and rape the two angels from Heaven. They didn't even want Lot's daughters! Those perverts tried to rape Heaven!!! The angels struck the sodomites with blindness. Lot and his family were rescued from Sodom, before God rained down fire and brimstone, sending them all to a burning eternal Hell. Jude 1:7, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

I will never stop calling them “sodomites”! Due to America's sex-perverted television round-the-clock, most people have filthy minds, making the sexual connection in images like this. Hollywood uses this technique to promote pedophilia in hundreds of it's movies. Hollywood has also produced over 100 homosexual films in recent decades. Hollywood producers are some of the most sex-perverted people on earth. A closer view of shows like 'THE BIG BANG THEORY' perhaps explains why many Jews are so perverted. Television producers are perverts. Perversion is not a Jewish thing per se, but the fact of the matter is that Tel Aviv, Israel is the most homosexual tourist destination in the world. Elite, wealth, Hollywood Jews have very low morals, which is evidenced by the movies that they continually produce.

To be fair, the problem of perversion goes far beyond the Jewish-owned TV networks in America. Japan has a major problem these days with pedophiles. Japan's crime rate has soared. The nation's officials are complicit to the problem. The reason is largely because of Japan's perverted TV networks, just as in America. Americans prefer to make their young girls appear sexy, whereas Japanese prefer the schoolgirl look. Navy uniforms are extremely popular in Japan on young girls, displaying them in sensual Karaoke music videos in miniskirts and suggestive positions. It is wickedness and evil. Society creates its own nightmares.

I once heard a Florida police officer say that he looked through a kitchen window while on duty, answering a call of a disturbance at a residential home, and he saw a woman trying to have sex with a dog. You'd be shocked the things that go on in this world. The Bible establishes the death penalty for bestiality (Leviticus 20:15). Whoopi Goldberg, on her Godless show THE VIEW, made fun of this Biblical teaching, saying that the animal shouldn't be killed because it didn't do anything wrong. Whoopi is an admitted bisexual. As with most homosexuals, they make light of Biblical morality. Bestiality (sex with animals) is a horrible sin. I recall hearing in the news years ago about a drunken Chicago man who was arrested at Lincoln Park Zoo for having sex with a cow. I once overheard a man at work tell his friends that he paid $5 while in a third world country to watch a woman have sex with a goat. These are just things I've heard; I don't even want to imagine the wicked things that happen in this sick world. But God sees it all, from Whose eyes nothing can be hid (Ecclesiastes 12:14; Hebrews 4:13; Proverbs 24:12). Judgment day is coming for all mankind (Hebrews 9:27).

I apologize to you God for the way we mistreat you in America. We are wasteful people, throwing 14% of our food into the garbage, while children in Haiti eat mud to survive. We use kitty-litter made from corn for our pets to poop in, while 18,000 children die from starvation every day in the world. Something is very wrong with us. We curse in your holy name without fear nor gratitude for your blessings. We complain about everything, demanding our rights to live in sin. Our women dress and behave like whores, many of whom are whores, claiming it is Your will. Lesbians are getting married, starting so-called Lesbian Christian ministries, and are saying that You approve of this abomination. I'm sorry, Oh Lord. Where will this insanity lead? America is beautiful no more. Our pastors are saying “gay is ok.” Some pastors are saying that the election of Barack Obama, a Godless Communist who supports abortion and homosexuality, is “wonderful.” Other pastors are saying that the evils of abortion and homosexuality are a “minor concern” in the church. I apologize on behalf of these apostate pastors Oh Lord? We are long overdue for judgment in America. As conditions worsen in our nation, we can say nothing against Thee, because we get what we deserve.

So the next time you turn on the news and hear about the most hideous and heinous of crimes being committed by your fellow Americans, just remember that we stopped leading our public school children in prayer to God in 1962, and we stopped teaching public school children the Word of God in 1963. Our problem today in our churches is tolerance!!! Trying to convince homosexuals that their sodomite feelings are acceptable, because God MADE THEM THAT WAY AFTER ALL, is wicked!!! Dr. Bob Jones Sr. wrote the preceding comments about the problem of tolerance for sin, back in 1942, before Americans owned televisions. In 1946 only 6,000 American households had a television. Only wealthy people could afford them! Albeit, by the year 1952 Americans owned 22,000,000 TV sets! Dr. Jones saw way back then in 1942 that “sin doesn't look as black as it used to look.” Today in 2017, we are surrounded by all manner of filth and wickedness, and people have grown totally accustomed to it. What homosexuals need is to be told that they are ungodly sinners in need of the new birth in Christ Jesus. Tolerating their filthy deathstyle won't help them, it will CURSE THEM!!! If a man won't come to Christ as a guilty sinner, receiving the gift of eternal life from a loving holy God, then He cannot be saved any other way.

Biblically, there is no middle ground, there can be no compromise. The homosexual community even criticizes the book, at TheGaVoice.com website. They criticize the book because they want to be accepted as they are, that is, proud homosexuals. This is all really strange. We've got fundamental Baptist pastors meeting the ungodly homosexual community halfway. The truth is that there will NEVER be true harmony between Bible-believing Christians and ungodly homosexuals. A woman in Brazil has confessed to stabbing her teenage son to death because she couldn’t accept that he was gay.

According to local media reports, Tatiana Lozano Pereira, lured her 17-year-old son to the family home after a heated argument on Christmas Eve.

Once inside the house, Itaberli Lozano was ambushed by his mother and two thugs she had hired to beat her son up to “teach him a lesson.”

Halfway through the beating, Pereira changed her mind and ordered the men to kill her son.

When they refused her orders, she took a kitchen knife and stabbed him herself.

Lozano Pereira, 32, told police that she and her husband removed the body from the house, the boy’s stepfather. They took his lifeless body to a cane field where they burned it.

The young boy’s charred body was found on January 7.

"The mother reportedly admitted her part in the crime during the first interrogation, naming also the two men she had hired for the beating. Her husband was charged for his collaboration in disposing of the boy’s body.

According to his uncle Dario Rosa and other relatives, Lozano had long been rejected by his mother for his sexual orientation."

The Church has to understand that the LGBT has a concerted effort to attack and raise up slander to destroy any Black Man that’s good for Black America. A recent article in The Australian on my book Homosexuality, Marriage and Society carried the banner (and opening gist) “Rabbi likens homosexuality to incest and bestiality”. Nowhere did I say this — and the article provided no source for it in my book. But it served to trigger condemnations of the book and foreclose consideration of its arguments, which I would like to briefly state.

The principal notion behind the same-sex marriage movement is the human being as an essentially physical being, driven and defined by its diverse impulses. Society must gratify them to grant essential personhood. My book counterposes to this the notion — from the Abrahamic faith traditions — that the human being also possesses a soul or conscience, which resonates with its Creator’s eternal moral laws, including the norm of heterosexual marriage. The soul confers both freedom and responsibility upon the person to evaluate and arbitrate physical impulses by reference to its moral compass.

Homosexuality comes from diverse sources: bodily temperament and disposition, psych­o­logical trauma and from ideological cultures which advocate for it. All of these sources are, however, extraneous to the real human essence, the soul or conscience, with its independent compass. Homosexuality is not like skin colour, with which the soul can have no issue. It is a behaviour, with which the soul can and does legitimately struggle, however difficult and deserving of compassion it may be. The cultural ideology supporting same-sex marriage represses both the consciousness of the soul and its conflicts with the body — which expresses our real humanity.

Same-sex marriage is harmful to the family. It is statistically far less stable than the complementary masculine-feminine union. The procurement of children for same-sex couples through donor gametes deprives these children of needed identity — to know and be raised by both of one’s biological parents. It deprives children of the differentiated roles of father and mother required in their upbringing. Homosexuals themselves are victims of the same-sex marriage movement’s ideology, which posits that the human being is determined by physical impulse, and dissonance between conscience and impulse as “internalised homophobia”.

Its drive to ban therapy — even for homosexuals who want it — is a denial of patient autonomy. It suppresses both the significant incidence of successful therapy and the absence (as reported by the American Psychological Association in 2009) of evidence of harm from such ­therapies.

The re-education needed to support the ideology of same-sex marriage is seen in the “Safe Schools” program, which models “sexual diversity” to susceptible children, of which 25 per cent have as-yet fluid sexual identity, and would otherwise overwhelmingly settle into heterosexuality. It also seeks to weaken parents’ traditionally recognised right to transmit to their children religious teaching, which includes traditional marriage.

Victoria, which has made the Safe Schools program compulsory in all state schools, did this by excluding special religious instruction from classroom hours and “replacing” it with a compulsory subject that relativises world religions and puts them on a par with “secular humanist” non-belief.

As a psychologist treating homosexually oriented men, I’ve watched with dismay as the LGBT movement has convinced the world that “gay” requires a revised understanding of the human person.

The psychological profession is much to blame for this shift. Once, it was generally agreed that normality is “that which functions in accordance with its design.” There was no such thing as a “gay person,” for humanity was recognized as naturally and fundamentally heterosexual. In my 30-plus years of clinical practice, I have seen the truth of that original anthropological understanding.

Homosexuality is, in my view, primarily a symptom of gender trauma. Although some people may have been born with biological conditions (prenatal hormonal influences, inborn emotional sensitivity) that make them especially vulnerable to such trauma, what distinguishes the male homosexual condition is that there was an interruption in the normal masculine identification process.

Homosexual behavior is a symptomatic attempt to “repair” the original wound that left the boy alienated from the innate masculinity that he has failed to claim. This differentiates it from heterosexuality, which arises naturally from undisturbed gender-identity development.

The basic conflict in most homosexuality is this: the boy—usually a sensitive child, more prone than average to emotional injury—desires love and acceptance from the same-sex parent, yet feels frustration and rage against him because the parent is experienced by this particular child as unresponsive or abusive. (Note that this child may have siblings who experienced the same parent differently).

This week, “She Stole My Voice: A Documentary About Lesbian Rape” was released, to much fanfare. Feminists and liberals can’t seem to stop talking about this film, and I am sure just as many men watched the film just to view the explicit lesbian rape scenes.

I, for one, do not think that “She Stole My Voice: A Documentary About Lesbian Rape” is the greatest thing since electricity. In fact, my disgust with this film has prompted me to make my first web page.

I am not one of those who say that lesbian rape does not exist. I am saying that society has no responsibility to try to stop it. Those who choose to live a degenerate, homosexual lifestyle should receive no assistance from law enforcement, or support from the rest of the community.

Because, when it comes down to it, homosexuality is a choice. Perhaps god and nature give you certain desires. But it is up to you whether or not you act on them. And if you choose to leave decent society in favor of a world of degeneracy, you can’t be too surprised when bad things happen.

To use an analogy, suppose some women developed a hobby where they would go lie down naked in the most dangerous parts of town. Wouldn’t they share some of the responsibility for what happened to them?

I have shown plenty of video footage in this article and in part 1 of this article, showing the Sodom & Gomorrah debased-lust spirit they operate through.

Parents you must understand that the LGBTQ community knows what they are doing by exposing your child to 'gay sex.' The ultimate goal of the LGBTQ community is to shape society into their image at the expense of yours, at the expense of God's and at the expense of our children.

In closing, I want you to remember how for decades both the American public and legislative leaders argued that there was nothing wrong with Cigarettes. But look, decades later, we are living out the consequences of believing a "popular lie" that was promoted by only people who benefitted from it.

This is the same type of 'popular lie' that exists in the LGBTQ lifestyle. It is damaging to every child, every adult to every family. Hopefully, when people break free from the LGBTQ's seductive grip, there will still be an American society left.

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was not a cautionary tale, it is a real historical account displaying the way society is becoming and will be once the LGBT community has unlimited rights to have sex with whoever and how ever they please... and once they outnumber heterosexuals, you can expect to live in a climate culture like Sodom and Gomorrah.

I predict in the near future, if we stay this present course, there will be a time where heterosexual men & women will be publicly raped for sport, just like they do in prison and back alleys today.

I'm still amazed that the American Christian Church is attempting to rationalize and make peace with the LGBT community. The bible is pretty clear that there is no way to make peace with anyone that has this level of sexual perversion and disrespect for God; Lot couldn't rationalize with them through their homo-mob-rage, and neither can you.

WHY HOMOSEXUALITY BOTH IS AND IS NOT A SIN

“Attraction is not a sin!”
You’re absolutely right. Attraction, in and of itself, is not a sin. Wait—what? Yep, you’re right. Why? Because we, as humans, have the ability to be attracted to either gender to some degree. Think about it; you have friends, right? People you talk to, people you get along with—you find them attractive in some way; perhaps not physically but mentally/emotionally/etcetera, if you didn’t, you wouldn’t be friends. Chances are you have at least one friend—or someone you just get along with—from both genders. We are designed to be attracted to people; we are very social creatures but if we weren’t attracted, we probably wouldn’t give them the time of day (just think of that resident annoyance in your life). Attraction is not just physical—but, of course, you know this I’m sure. Now, we’ve established attraction is not a sin. It is what you do about that attraction that determines whether or not it is a sin.

“What you do? What does that mean?”
Let’s look at that a little further, shall we? “It is what you do about that attraction that determines whether or not it is a sin.” This means that it does not become a sin until you decide to act on it. The moment you decide to pursue that relationship that becomes a sin. Why? Because typically that relationship is pursued with the intent of becoming physical at some point. In cases of heterosexuality, it only becomes a sin if the intent to become physical comes before marriage (yes, this includes during the engagement but that is a whole other animal we are not going to get into today). In the case of homosexuality, it does not matter whether or not this intent is before or after marriage, it is still a sin.

“That’s not fair! Why is it still a sin even if I’m doing it ‘right’?!”
This is a question that comes up a lot and Christians need to be able to answer if they’re going to argue it. I could say “because the Bible says so” and give a list of verses; I could say “because God says so” and leave it at that, but do these explain why? No, not really. So, why? Because it is outside of God’s intent. God has a plan for each of us, most of whom he has included and set apart a specific person for the intent of us to be in a strong, loving, Godly relationship with. Anything outside of that plan is sinful because it is not of God, no matter how good it seems.

“Well, why should I care about God’s intent?”
You may or may not be a Christian, I don’t know, that’s between you and God. There is one thing I do know for sure; anything God has planned for us is 100 times better than we could ever even imagine. Being a Christian is not about blindly agreeing with everything God says and following like good little sheep. We can say “alright, God, I don’t get this, I don’t like this,” as long as we add after, “but I’m going to trust You because I know that what You have for me is better.” That’s what faith is, that’s what being a Christian is. So before you yell and scream at us Christians for being stupid, blindly following, being bigoted, being intolerant; remember that not all of us totally agree with everything God says. I, personally, would be perfectly fine with homosexual relationships if I were not a Christian and didn’t know that God has something better planned for everyone. I just want everyone to live their life to the fullest extent in the happiest way possible; that’s why I want people to find God and turn from their sinful ways—whatever they may be—and follow the better path God has in store for them, because I know it will be so amazing. So, no, I don’t see a reason for it to be a sin; but, yes, it is a sin, and there’s nothing I can do about that but say, “I’m going to trust You, God, because I know You have something so much better and it’s just going to be totally awesome.”

But it's also true that you cannot control attraction, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because the people were participating in homosexual activities. Note that the verse you quoted states "men who practice homosexuality". Lust is wrong no matter who you are lusting after so that is irrelevant. I don't think you understood what I said, I know that homosexual activities are wrong and fantasizing about performing said activities is also wrong just as it would be wrong to kill someone or fantasize about killing someone. There are two definitions of homosexuality--simply being attracted to the same gender which you cannot do anything about and participating in homosexual activities which you can do something about. One is entirely subconscious and the other is a conscious action. You cannot stop yourself from being attracted to someone, it is not possible. I'm really not sure how I can make this any clearer but if you're still confused, please let me know.

Yeah, the thing that hacks me off the most is the radical "you must agree or you're a terrible person" mentality they seem to have nowadays. It's so frustrating because it goes exactly against the freedom of beliefs/religion and speech we have in America--even more so because we're basically letting them act that way. It's pretty dang ridiculous, if you ask me. People are so touchy and easily offended.

In conclusion

Firstly, I totally agree with your first point - homosexuality isn't a sin. However, I serious disagree of your second point.

I cannot actually think of any decent anti-homosexuality reasons myself. In any case, I am a firm believer in freedom of sexuality, within reason. If you're female and fall in love with another female, then what's wrong with that? Is the world going to end? Probably not. Are you going to drop dead? It's unlikely. Will a random person develop, say, cancer simply because you're dating someone of the same sex? I highly doubt it. Besides, the planet's population is rising rapidly and whilst we have no serious problem right now, we will when it doubles. With deforestation, loss of farmland to housing estates and desertification, among other things, then frankly we will run out of resources at some point. Soon. If, say, 5% of the population is gay/lesbian, then that's 5% less kids every year. That's a few years left on the timer. More time to solve the dilemma. Oh, and it means that more of the poor kids in foster homes can have a family. I know how that feels, I was there once.
Besides, if the government was to make homosexuality illegal, then that is a direct breach of the Human Rights.

There are many opinions from Christians that certain aspects of the bible are outdated. Aren't women supposed to be evil or something? Anyway - 'God is omnipotent' to quote practically every Christians I've ever brought this subject up with (I grew up in a religious family/area/school, so there's quite a few). Therefore, if he has an intent for us, then maybe it's for us to be gay?
I am actually an atheist, so the 'God's intent' thing, for me, isn't a valid reason. A good number of my friends are lesbian/gay and are currently dating a person of the same sex. What harm has it done to me? None. What harm is it doing you? None.

You make some very interesting points and bring up some good questions but I believe I touched on most of them either in the comments or in the actual article (it's not really an article I guess but you know what I mean) but I will respond to a few of them.

Why does He say so? The truth is I don't know, no one does--if they claim to they're probably lying. I just know that He does and that's enough for me and should be enough for any Christian.

Putting someone in prison for homosexuality is ridiculous, the government should not interfere in religious matters and vice-versa. As far as the Bible being outdated, anyone who has told you that is not a Christian even if they claim to be. You cannot be a Christian and not believe the Bible is the Truth, it doesn't work that way. There is no passage that says women are evil or anything like that, I suggest reading the book for yourself even if you have no intention of becoming a Christian. It's quite interesting to see the parallels from the Old and New Testaments and the perfect preservation and lack of contradictions without taking anything out of context, even from a purely historical and analytical standpoint.

His intent would not be for anyone to be gay considering He says homosexual relations are a sin although he may use someone identifying as gay as a challenge or a way for them to have a better witness to other people.

I don't expect anyone who is not a Christian to agree with or follow my beliefs but that doesn't mean that I won't call someone out on something I know is wrong because I don't want them to make a mistake. It's purely about caring about people. I am currently dealing with my younger sister's recent coming out as pansexual and she knows I am on her side even though she also knows I believe she is doing the wrong thing. We have had many discussions on the issue but I still love her and would not wish anything bad on her.

was making a point in stating that. It irritates the crap out of me that this day was made for one group of people about a problem that affects EVERYONE. Everyone is bullied at some point in there life for some reason, it doesn't just affect LGBT. No, I don't get mad when Black History month comes around; why? Because it's about something that affected that specific group of people--the abolishment of slavery and the celebration of the accomplishments of people of that ethnicity.

No one ever said it *just* effects LGBT. But the day was made in response to a string of suicides by LGBT teenagers- it's to honor them and prevent it from happening again. LGBT bullying is a /big fucking deal/ because the children affected by it live in a homophobic society and often, homophobic households. Unlike a straight kid or even a child of a minority race, they usually don't have a support system to turn to because of that; they can't open up to their families because they have to hide who they are. Having a voice- a day- raises a lot of awareness. That is a /good thing/. And there are plenty of anti-bullying programs that cover EVERY aspect of bullying; is it really so bad to have one dedicated to a specific type that happens to be very bad at the moment?

Basically, it's childish to be angry over what is essentially a good thing. Everyone knows bullying is bad, but there are plenty of people that don't realize how much more devastating it can be for LGBT teens due to the inherit isolation that typically comes with their status. For one thing; it's not a week, it's a day. For another, until this year (and on deviantART only this year for that matter) I didn't see any awareness whatsoever on the day for anyone else who was bullied or any other type of bullying--hardly anyone at all acknowledged that (except for those of us who were irritated about it). And being bullied for another reason than being homosexual isn't the same thing? Since when? It hurts just the same and people are scared to turn to other people for help just the same. Bullying of LGBT is different. How man times do I have to say this? It doesn't "hurt the same"- perhaps it might appear that way to you, if you are lucky enough to live in an area where LGBTs aren't living in constant fear- but let me tell you, that is not the norm. What makes bullying of LGBTS so different is that they are being bullied in a society where they cannot just turn to the adults for help- a society at large that is hostile and often teaches others to hate them. Which is what makes it different from, say, racial bullying, where those children at least have family to turn to and no one says 'you shouldn't have chosen to be black, put some on dye your skin!'

You know what I did when I was bullied? I talked to my mom, my friends, once even the teacher and guidance counseler.

Do you know what *Queerly did when she was bullied? Withdraw in to herself, far too afraid for her safety in her conservative southern community to go to the teacher, and too sick at heart to be able to admit her true issues to her parents out of fear of rejection/hurting them/making them question their beliefs.

To sum it up, I would like to ask what *Queerly asked before she was blocked:

I'm not trying to upset you or argue with you for no reason, and you are certainly entitled to your beliefs. However, I am as well and I will try and implore you to stop fighting something that is a good thing. While I myself have seen plenty of LGBT awareness movements, if you yourself have not, then that proves that they need the day, or week, or whatever it is that they're given in whatever way, more than ever.

And this is why I don't think you or Queerly were even listening, I have stated my reasons very clearly NUMEROUS times, including in my responses to both you and her and you continue to ignore them. Since you won't listen to me when I straight out reply with my answers maybe you should try reading some of the other comments, the artist's comments, etcetera which all state what I have said a thousand times. I'm getting pretty sick of being asked the same questions over and over and then not even being listened to when I answer. And before replying I would like to ask you to please do your research--there is nothing, I repeat, NOTHING that sets LGBT bullying apart from other types of bullying other than media coverage and extensive whining. They all have different degrees of severity, the only difference is--like with most minorities--when they are targeted they have the media freaking out and jumping to conclusions.

Here are some interesting statistics: 1 in every 4 kids from elementary to high school is bullied; only 30% of those are bullied because of their sexual orientation. Over 50% of students who were bullied were bullied because of their physical appearance. Only 4% of bullying cases end with adult intervention, 11% of bullying cases end with peer intervention, and 85% of bullying cases have absolutely no intervention--regardless of the reasons behind the bullying.

And, as I stated before, the degree of severity varies with each case, there is nothing to show that an LGBT kid suffers more or less than any other kid who is bullied (unless, of course, you look at one of the extremely biased websites that completely ignores the statistics of a child who isn't LGBT being bullied--unfortunately there are many out there, the majority of which can't seem to even keep a standardized statistic). If you still insist that this day is needed might I recommend you also create a day for every other child who is bullied for whatever reason; go on, make a day for those who are bullied because they are overweight, skinny, tall, short, heterosexual, smart, stupid, non-athletic, mentally-disabled, physically-disabled, "nerdy", poor, rich, black, hispanic, white, asian, unpopular, has a speech impediment, has frizzy hair, has stick-straight hair, doesn't have a boyfriend/girlfriend, stands up for another child who is bullied...need I say more?

If you haven't noticed, most people are the exact opposite of hostile towards them nowadays (kids don't necessarily count, children can be very cruel about everything). Such people are actually pretty much glorified (see LGBT celebrities and politicians) now. I've noticed more people being hostile towards me and several of my non-LGBT friends for having a different opinion on homosexuality than I have seen or heard of any sort of hostility towards my LGBT friends (not simply in the area I live in, I have many friends from other countries, states, and cities).

You misunderstand what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying that horrible stuff doesn't happen to LGBT kids and that they're only whining (although they [not all of them] tend to do a heck of a lot of it; as do most minorities), I'm simply pointing out that it doesn't ONLY happen to them so it doesn't make sense and is unfair to create a day just for them, regardless of how much awareness it raises.

There were mountains of sources most of which have been long since lost I'm afraid but a quick Google search of "LGBT bullying statistics" and just "bullying statistics" should bring up the vast majority of them.

Seriously, if it was for EVERYONE who was bullied then I could totally get behind it 'cause guess what? Homosexuals are NOT the only ones who are bullied! Seriously, they're not freaking special, I and a friend of mine were bullied in elementary and junior high school--for being short! Where's the short people's "Spirit Day", hm? These days, I've even been bullied for being "STRAIGHT" by homosexuals (I'm ace/arospec not that that matters to them apparently)! This is ridiculous, it's hypocritical and it sickens me! Make "Spirit Day" for everyone or get rid of it altogether. (I will add that I am glad that dA has written that it counts for everyone, I just wish others would follow suit)

They have plenty of other ways they spread awareness, they don't need a day to themselves over an issue that effects everyone.

I've been bullied by multiple people for simply being straight. If you've ever been on the "social justice" side of tumblr it's a wonderful example. I've seen people receive death threats and threats of rape for being straight or cisgendered and be doxxed (have their address and other personal information put online for the purpose of sending people after them) for that reason. I know of someone who was doxxed and their former rapist found their address and stalked them. So no I'm not comparing my own experiences to it because thankfully I haven't experienced it but I'm saying it happens to everyone in varying degrees no matter the orientation or gender.

However, Spirit Day is specifically raising awareness about homophobic, trans phobic, biphobic, etc. bullying. You're right on wanting to have a day that raises awareness for ALL bulliying, I agree with that, but the LGBTQ+ community is also right about wanting to have their own anti-bullying day. LGBTQ+ youth are much more prone to be harassed, bullied, raped, suicidal, etc. than cishet youth so it is important to help them out and cater to their specific needs and problems.

If someone who was being racially bullied was being helped out and defended, then the defenders would need to help them out according to their specific needs, which is to counter attack racism. It's the same thing with LGBTQ+ students, except that their defenders would need to know how to stop homophobia, transphobia, etc.

What I'm trying to say is that different groups of people get bullied in different ways and for different reasons.

And also about "social justice" tumblr, if the users who run those blogs are doing that to others, I highly doubt that they are actually social justice activists, or at least the ones who are sane and know what they are doing. If that happens again, you should report them definately.

I understand your point but I can't say I agree with it. I've seen no clear, consistent statistics indicating that sexual orientation has anything to do with people being more prone to be harassed, bullied, raped, and/or suicidal, and from what I've seen personally it tends to be the exact opposite as most people do not want to be labelled a "homophobe" for fear of being bullied themselves (this isn't to say it doesn't happen of course, as I've said people are bullied for any reason anyone can come up with and there will always be jerks who do so). As such I believe no one group should have its own day for a problem that affects everyone for varying reasons in varying degrees. The point is we need to stop bullying period and not focus on just one group or the other--I see it solving absolutely nothing and generally causing more issues by creating a sort of "us vs. them" mentality.

As far as "social justice" tumblr goes, the number of people who do that whether they claim to be social justice or not is not only incredibly large but it is sadly growing. Reporting them generally does nothing unless a mass of people reports them (as it is on deviantART it seems as well). It happens constantly and there sadly seems to be no way to combat it beyond arguing back which causes more issues and makes more enemies...:|

Here’s the definition from dictionary.com: intense hatred or fear of homosexuals or homosexuality.

That’s all fine and good. It’s a real thing and there are people who definitely fit those characteristics.

However, let me tell you something vitally important: opposing gay marriage or not supporting a homosexual cause does not automatically make you homophobic by definition!

Pro-life people don’t call the pro-choice position pedophobia (fear of babies and children) or tokophobia (fear of childbirth). Why? Because that’s not what their position is about. They’re not fearful of the other position and they don’t intensely hate pregnant women or fetuses necessarily.

So why is it that someone who won’t make a wedding cake for a gay couple is called a homophobe? Is he fearful of the gay couple or their lifestyle? In most cases, no (if he were, feel free to call him that). Does he intensely hate the gay couple or their lifestyle? Again, in most cases, no. But they have a religious opposition to it and they are obeying their God. Whether or not you think they should be allowed to deny service doesn’t matter, the fact is that you’re calling them names simply because of their beliefs and your insult is probably not even accurate.

By definition, though, a phobia is an irrational fear or aversion. So by calling those who disagree with your position homophobic, you are automatically chalking their opinion up to an irrational fear when, in fact, most people are not frightened of homosexuals or homosexuality. You’re implying that their position is based on irrationality and that there is no logic to it. Basically, you’re name calling.

If you want people who oppose gay marriage to respect your opinion, you have to respect theirs. Disagreement isn’t irrationality. Calling those who disagree with you a name that basically implies that they’re stupid for believing what they believe is bullying.

I’m not going to share my opinions on gay marriage. They’re irrelevant. I just intensely dislike the word “homophobia” because it’s insulting to a group of people who may have some valid concerns if you stopped name calling and listened.

In order to find a middle ground, you have to respect both opinions. I believe a middle ground is possible. So people on both sides, stop being bullies and start respecting each other.

The SRF cite “spiritual research” as proving that “the cause for homosexual preferences lie predominantly in the spiritual realm.”

Here’s how the group breaks down the remaining 15 percent:

* Only five percent are gay due to “hormonal changes”;

* And 10 percent are considered gay because they had “an experience with a person of the same sex as a teenager or young adult that was pleasurable”

Nonetheless, the group believes ghosts overpower the majority of homosexuals. “The ghost’s consciousness overpowers the person’s normal behavior to produce the homosexual attraction,” states their website.

Just in case there’s any doubt that there’s more to this than just science or a genuine belief in the paranormal, here’s what the SRF had to say about gay pride parades:

"Organizing such Parades in the name of human rights and freedom does not indicate that society is progressing. In fact, this evidences its decline. The human race needs to know what is right and what is wrong. Just as we teach children not to play in dirty water or eat mud, we need to educate society what is correct from a spiritual perspective. I could list a thousand more things wrong in the U.S. today. We've lost so much in America! I think our country is doomed, because once sin infests a nation, only one of two things can turn it back to righteousness: 1) Bible-preaching, or 2) God's judgment. Boy Scouts allow homosexual scout leaders. That is sickening! If you go fishing, officers and park rangers can confiscate everything you own if you don't know that you are required to pay for a fishing permit. I think that ruins America! Due to liability, many organizations are reluctant to host little league games and other fun activities for children. And now with the pedophile problem—which is a direct consequence of removing the Bible from the schools, Playboy magazine, sensual rock music, feminism, dying churches, homosexuality, the lies of Evolution, the evil influences on television, divorce (no father in the home), Hollywood and the general moral downfall of America—everyone is paranoid about their neighbours these days! How could America ever be great again in such a wicked climate? Everything is deteriorating quickly with a domino effect. We haven't seen anything yet. The daily news already cannot keep up with the abundance of heinous crimes being committed across America. Americans have become extremely covetous and materialistic.
