I think comparing the Muslims to Nazis is pretty accurate. Radical Islam seeks to convert all non Muslims to Islam and if they don't convert they will kill you. So I guess in some ways they are better than Nazi's as at least they are giving you the opportunity to join them...although they didn't give that opportunity to the innocent people that were killed in the 9/11 attacks. Which some of the victims were of course Muslims.

So, I think the Nazi comparison with the radical Muslims is very accurate. Not to mention their desire to destroy Israel.

Yes deliberately sinning against human beings is wrong, always has been and always will be. It is more than not morally right to commit genocide, it is a sin. The problem is you don't know who the Canaanites were.

Numbers 13:33 tells us who the Canaanites were that God ordered to be killed to the last man, woman, and child. They were the sons of Anak, they were giants, the Nephilim. The Canaanites God ordered to be killed were not appart of His creation, they were not fully human but were human hybrids.

God did not order the Israelites to commit genocide against Human beings, He did order genocide against the Nephilim however.

Our new bodies, like Jesus had after the ressurection will be immortal, and composed not just of flesh, by any stretch of the imagination. We will be imortal, indestructable, and not even need to sleep or eat, though we can eat, and rest if we like. We will be better than supermen and women.
Ever wonder why those that see Jesus in visions, or dreams, or after death experiences, where they come back do not see Him as some old geyser? We don't age in heaven, as we do here, but can level off at the desired age.
WE don't have mere PO bodies there, but bodies no material on earth could harm at all. Forget falling off a cliff. Maybe Adam was like we will be in heaven, and could fly!!! Why not, before the fall? We will fly in the future.
Your mistake is the classic one, trying to artificially impose present reality, and temporary state laws of physical only where they could never belong!!! That is just how wonderful it is!

Fear of the Lord

Why fear the Lord? Has He zapped anyone recently?

Oh, you say your daughter is pregnant because she watched the Desperate Housewives show where they made fun of virginity. And your other daughter has had an abortion and gone into depression. And now you learned your son has AIDS after taking the diversity class in his highschool.

Well surly none of these are related to God? Condoms is the cure.

We really don't need God. We have social security to take care of the elderly, welfare to take care of the illegitimate and medical science to resolve all health issues. The life expectancy of everyone, except AIDS people, has increased, which proves we do not need God. The government will provide for all our needs. As soon as we get this stem cell research going, we will be gods. We have an explanation for all of life and history through evolution.

We have the worlds greatest economy and military, although our military cannot win a war. But, who would want to go to attack a country as great as ours, except maybe for the Islamic Terrorists.

Some say the Islamic Terrorists will go away when we get a higher minimum wage, tax the rich and establish social justice.

And, we have freedom of religion, so long as the religious people stay out of politics.

Why waste Sunday morning going to a worship service, much better to go to Target and buy Christmas presents.

So I was reading the drivers manual to my moms new SUV the other day (Because I'm a silly nerd, and I want to be informed incase I am driving it and I get into some kind of trouble... I know, I'm a loser).. and I noticed that in the warranty it stated the car isn't covered in any way by an "Act of God."

It struck me as interesting that in such an Atheistic world they still put these kinds of things in a manual instead of "Natural Desaster" or something like that.

I was talking to my brother about it... and his theroy is that the company knows when the rapture hits, they'll in NO way be able to cover all those costs.. and even if they're not Bible believeing people, they are atleast supersticious and think "Might as well.."

Imagine that the sun used to be quite different, as was all matter in this different past. The ions, and electrons, photons, etc.
With no radioactive decay, even, we would have to wonder if there were even the 'radiation' belts, and present arrangements, and balance as the above map shows we now have.
With a huge water ring system, partial canopy, or canopy, or whatever was here, having just come down, to drown earth.
It seems likely to me, that God could have arranged a focused high pressure blast of some form of cosmic force, that may have hit some areas of the world of water.
Perhaps, some would prefer that the fountains of the deep, helped blast a channel up to space, or some other possible aspect of the different past. I guess we really don't know. But all we really need is that different universe, and the rest is easy!

The mind of a child is very moldable, and at four to seven years old are experimenting with sex. There IS a way to win in Iraq if we have the stomach for it

1. We pull our troops out of Baghdad, Mosul, Irbil and Basra.
2. We attack, and demolish these cities with nuclear weapons -- preferably strong enough to wipe out the entire cities. We bomb all four cities within two hours, preferably.
3. We give the remaining insurgents, the Shiites, and the Sunnis 24 hours to lay down their arms and surrender, or we'll drop bombs on Suleymaniye, Kirkuk, al-Najaf, Karbala, Nasirah and Hillah -- again, within two hours of the initial attack.
4. We pull our troops out of Suleymaniye, Kirkuk, al-Najaf, Karbala, Nasirah and Hillah.
5. While we're at it, we also drop a nuclear weapon on Kandahar, Afghanistan, and let the Taliban know that Mazar-I-Sharif, Charikar, Herat and/or Jalalabad in Afghanistan are next and that we have no problem nuking Afghanistan until it glows.
6. We might also let Syria and Indonesia know we're quite fed up with their anti-American attitudes and if they have a problem with that, they can take a trip to Baghdad or Kandahar and see what might be in store for them without a bit of immediate "attitude correction" on their part.

We've spent all this time and money developing nuclear weapons -- we might as well use them on the enemy before the enemy uses them on US. If they're so hot to turn this war into a crusade against the West, we might as well let them know what they're in for.

When you find something in the Bible that you don't like, most likely it's the Holy Spirit convicting YOU on something which is going on in YOUR life.

Homosexuals don't like Leviticus 18 and 20, Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 5 or 6, or Jude -- and yet, homosexuals know intuitively that their choice of lifestyle is WRONG, that it is SINFUL, and the Holy Spirit is trying to convict them to get them to repent of their homosexuality and move back to normal, God-given heterosexuality.

Women, particularly feminist women, don't like 1 Corinthians 14 or 1 Timothy 2 which forbids women from speaking in churches, teaching in churches, or having any authority over men -- and yet, women know intuitively that God created Adam FIRST, THEN Eve from Adam; that God came to earth as a male (not a female), and the natural order is God - husband - wife - children. This exists all throughout nature and also in all human societies. Dogs and cats know this. Horses and cows know this. All of animalkind accepts this -- except humans, who think they have the right to go against God's Natural Order where women are "equal" to men. Christ grants a degree of equality to women, but women have their own sphere of influence just as men have their own sphere.

Yes indeed - when we don't like a part of the Bible, it's usually because the Holy Spirit is working on something in us which GOD doesn't like!

Well..there are some things that i believe aren't meant to be taken literally..others i do. Most stories is the OT i take literally. Including the flood, adam and eve, etc. Why do i take it literally? Hmm...that's kind of like asking me why i think blue is better then purple. The Bible clearly teaches homosexuality is a sin. The reason homosexuality is a sin is because God created sex between a man and a woman. Since man was not intended to give sexual pleasure to a another man, it is sin. But it is sin for a man to give sexual pleasure to another man, why would it be acceptable for a man to give sexual pleasure to himself?

Please excuse my graphical illustration here, but I think it is needed to make a point. A Democrat win is a victory for Terrorist!!

Anybody with any common sense knows that three people will be happy if the democrats win Congress. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Osama Bin Laden. The terrorist will be dancing in their caves and I wouldn't be surprised if Osama Bin Laden or one of his henchmen make a tape claiming some kind of victory. This is clearly a sign of retreat because the democrats basically ran on the terrorist platform, I hate Bush too and I'm against Iraq. So of course this is a sign of weakness and I think the American people want to give the terrorist a victory to appease them. I don't understand people in this country who have the mentality if we leave them alone that they will leave us alone. They attacked the WTC before Iraq twice, the U.S.S. Cole and the Embassy in Africa. The terrorist will kill your family in front of you in a heartbeat.

You know democrats say that there were no terrorist in Iraq before we got there, that tells you that the terrorist don't care about Iraq they only came there to kill Americans. So common sense tells you that if we cut and run out of Iraq that they will follow us back to America and the fight will take place on the streets of Maryland, Washington D.C. and New York. Freedom is not free and when people are going into Walmart or Tops with armed guards and sniffing dogs at the door maybe they will realize this but I think it will be too late. It's almost a certainty that the terrorist will follow us to the streets of America if we leave Iraq. If the democrats win Congress, I think the troops will be home in less than a year and the terrorist will follow them. Then this will be a different country. I'm already making plans to leave the country because the American people don't have the will to fight for freedom. We are fighting against people that fly planes into buildings and if you think that when we retreat that they will just leave us alone you must have your head in the sand. When we cut and ran out of Somolia Bin Laden called America paper tigers and said that we couldn't stand to see violence on T.V. I think this country is in BIG trouble.

What does science say? I was told that we are make up of elements. Where do the elements come from that make us up? Mars? Venus? Earth? It is amazing the extent deceived people go to in order to try to avoid the truth.

When I was growing up they use to say we were make up of about $10 worth of elements that could be bought from any science supply catalog. Now perhaps it would be three times that amount.

Sometimes I wonder if God helps us in small ways. Say I drop something to the floor, like happened to me the other day. When I bend over to pick it up, it stretches my back after sitting all day. It resulted in unexpected relief to my aching spine. Did God "help" me to drop that item, knowing it would result in relief to my aching back? Does He care about the small things? Absolutely. Does he do the same thing for the Atheist? There's no doubt in my mind. It is my feeling that Christ sets their beliefs aside and does what He can to accomodate them. While I was typing this in, I got an update notice from Firefox browser, that the jsLib Lite extension had a new release, and was ready to self-install on my command. One could look at that and say, "Hmm, js=jesus? The Prince of Light/Lite?". Did Jesus inspire me to write that first paragraph? It's entirely possible. He can, afterall, stop my hard drive on a dime or send anything through my computer at whatever time he wants. It's all under his command. Yes, even my computer.

Even 150 years ago, girls reached puberty at an average age of 17, instead of the average age of 11 now.
