As I was browsing around on YouTube last night, I came across this one video of a sentencing hearing involving a young man who had sexual intercourse with his girlfriend four different times. Did he forcibly rape her? No. Did he coerce her into having sex? No. Did he sexually molest her? No. Did he even groom her? No. His girlfriend was his first love.

Nonetheless, none of those facts made any difference to the judge. This young man had already pleaded guilty to a sexual offense, and the only thing that she was interested in was the fact that he was 23 years of age and his girlfriend was only 12 years old. Now, I know what many of you are going to say, but watch the video first and then form your own opinions about this matter.

The name of the 23-year-old defendant is Hector Enrique Laura Sanchez. He is an immigrant from Honduras. You may think that a 23-year-old man is way too old to be intermingling with a 12-year-old girl. However, back when the late Loni Anderson, an actress, was 12 years old, she dated a 22-year-old man. Her parents allowed the courtship. Of course, the late Ms. Anderson was a full-figured woman by then.

The criminal defense attorney even stressed that the 12-year-old girl that Mr. Sanchez had sexual relations with was physically precocious for her years and had an enriched sexual vocabulary. He also pointed out to Judge Stephanie Boyd that the girl told the police that she had been the one to seduce Mr. Sanchez rather than the other way around. The girl's mother didn't want him to go to jail or prison.

Some of you may argue that this girl was just a child. According to medical science, she wasn't. There is a world of a difference between a 12-year-old girl who is an adolescent and a prepubescent child who may be only 5 or 6 years of age.

What's always bothered me was that the preconcieved stereotypical predator often overlaps the streotypical adult gamer and comic book nerd. Being an adult gamer, it annoys me.

The bigger problem is that they are acting like pedosexuality is 'abnormal'. I also have to say that most of the 'harm' from underage sexual encounters come from the reaction of society to them. There were three girls in my high school class who had been 'sexually abused' by their father, and had NO problems with it until their mothers found out about it and made a big fuss about it, getting their fathers put into prison. Then the girls had problems, because they didn't really want their father put into prison and felt guilt over that. They finally helped get their father out of prison by recanting their testimony, telling what their mothers had threatened them with (killing them, in two cases), and having their mothers put into prison because their mothers were abusing them physically and emotionally. It is just past time to stop with this 'sexual morality' BS and realize that there is no such thing as a sexual act that is 'wrong' unless you are PHYSICALLY FORCING SOMEONE INTO IT OR THREATENING THEM WITH PHYSICALLY FORCING THEM INTO IT. There is no such thing as coercion by keeping something from someone (unless it's food or shelter).

Republican congressional candidate Brandon Herrera implied COVID-19 “wasn’t bad enough” because not enough obese people died. The remarks were made during Herrera’s appearance on Elijah Schaffer’s Slightly Offensive on July 31, 2022, approximately a year before his first congressional run.

If the latter invites the former by being an easy target, or an attractive target, then the latter is partially contributing to the crime.

Everybody has a responsibility to act maturely and in such a way that they are protecting themselves from such crime. Sometimes crime happens anyways even if you do take all the precautionary measures, but if you do something absolutely stupid and you become the victim of a crime... then yes, you're partially to blame for it.

I used to think it was puberty that made them demonic too. But in recent years and in my observation they are literally born fucked up. Usually a pre pubescent boy who is demonic is the result of environmental and genetic shortcomings, things which will cause girls to turn in on themselves, but boys to lash out. There are cases where literal 6 year old boys brought guns to school and shot their teacher or tried to strangle them. I agree with your averages, and in general I find males to be a lost cause, but I think it's entirely possible to uplift women, even ones in the depths of pickmeism, to overcome their self loathing, male worshipping programming. It might be harder to reprogram a woman who has birthed a male, due to imprinting, but I think young girls can be led down the path of self respect simply by being present as a female role model.

While I respect a woman not reproducing for whatever reason, I do not think women should have to be forced/coerced to not have kids any more than I think a woman should be forced/coerced to have kids.

I think we need to encourage women who want to be mothers to raise children with other women instead of with a man (which is more aligned with social mammalian nature anyways). The workload and child rearing would be split more amicably since women are superior both as parents and workers. I also want women to know that you can in fact select and purchase sperm at banks, and also get them selected for sex so you never have to worry about birthing a demon moid.

If more women adopt this style of child rearing we can have males become more like government experiments, produced mainly to be experimented on/vivisected so we can eventually live without males and our species can have our genetic diversity via artificial sperm.

I believe with less patriarchal pressure for women to be broodmares, the human population would naturally taper down to a reasonable 500 million-1 billion (aka the population we had a century ago) and we could just focus on improving the quality of life of said stable population with each passing generation without compromising our environment.

As far as utopias go, this is the one that logistically makes the most sense.

Im not sure how people got this reversed, but she was not the one in the position of power; he was. As soon as they had sex, he had the power over her, not the other way around. He, literally, was fucking authority. He had her career in his hands at the same time he had other things.

What power had she over him? What, give him an F in reading class? 14 year olds arent stupid, the kid had to be aware that she had far more to lose than he did. No, the power was in his hands. If anything, I think a good case could be made that this is an issue of a male taking advantage of a female when she was in an emotionally delicate state. Show me a 14 year old who is stupid enough to think a junior-high or high-school teacher can have a lasting bad effect on them enough to be coerced into having sex and Ill show you a 14 year old in 5th grade.

The side which is supportive of Jane Doe loves to preach about believing her, and the other side is quite skeptical and/or calling it a false accusation. The odd thing is people care more about being right on the internet than about her well being, and are therefore rooting for her to have been raped, and would be disappointed if she wasn’t. I understand parents dislike the idea of their girls having relationships with older men, and let's be honest, parents tend to get apoplectic whenever the sexuality of their daughters (especially their daughters) is concerned, regardless of the guy's age. Fine. I'm not a parent, but I understand being protective. On the other hand, maintaining that a 15 or 16 year old girl, while no doubt somewhat immature, is incapable of having consensual sex, is nonsense.

So, Pamel, in your story, there's difficulty, because the man was already in a position of power, authority, and influence over the girl, so that may complicate things. How can anyone tell the degree to which she was coerced by him? It may be impossible, even for her, to know. I'm not sure the best way to deal with those cases. Keep in mind, however, that there's certainly an amount of coercion in every human interaction, especially where sex is concerned. So, it's muddy. I am of the opinion, however, that it's entirely possible for a 30 year old and a 15 year old to have a free, non-coercive, consensual sexual relationship. And if they do, the 30 year old shouldn't be demonized or called a pervert. It just might be tricky to tell whether the relationship is, in fact, non-coercive. I'll grant you that. Let's be clear, though (just as an aside). Even if it is, it doesn't make the 30 year old a pervert. It may make him an asshole and a bully, but there's nothing perverted (or paedophilic) about being attracted to a sexually mature individual, regardless of the age difference involved.

I am writing this after just finding out that Christa Pike got her execution paused at the last minute. Yes, Christa Pike, the woman who lured an innocent girl into the woods, tortured her to death, kept a piece of her skull as a trophy and tried to kill another inmate in prison. A federal court is halting her execution to consider whether her abusive childhood was taken into account. No joke, look it up.

And of course, we can't forget the Lindsay Clancy case where a woman strangled her three children to death with premeditation but was almost acquitted (and might get the case dismissed) because boohoo she felt a bit sad.

And finally, you have the Cornell hoax where a woman willingly took drugs, alcohol and engaged in group sex with some frat dudes (check the original police report) only to take back her word and claim she was forced in order to save her reputation. Now the internet wants to lynch the men accused.

Do you see the common thread in all three cases? I'll tell you, it's women not being held responsible for their actions. No matter what they do, they are the victim. And that is the conceit of feminism. It tells us women are equal to men, therefore deserving equal rights, but also women can't be held equally responsible for their actions. Well guess what, rights and responsibilities go hand in hand. If you want the same rights as men, don't complain if you are held to the same moral or legal standard! Abolish female privilege now!

The Jane Doe in the Cornell University rape case could have made better decisions, and that should be okay to say out loud.

We've seemingly become so adamant to protect and comfort rape victims that we become angry when someone dares to suggest that the victim's indiscretions and bad decisions objectively played a role in their victimization. Apparently, this is commonly referred to as "victim blaming."

Whether we want to admit it or not, there are instances where blaming the victim of a crime to some degree, regardless if it's rape or not, is valid. None of us have any right or logic to live our daily lives and think that bad things can't happen to us, or that there aren't bad people who are waiting for us to slip up and let our guard down in order to take advantage of us.

It's not wrong to point out, in this case, that not enough was done on part of the victim to mitigate or minimize the risk of being sexually assaulted. Yes, we know people shouldn't rape, but pointing out the victim's indiscretions and bad decisions isn't the same as apologizing for or legitimizing rape like so many seem to think.

As much as I hate it, we don't live in a society that will ever be free from rapists. So maybe that's something we should keep in the back of our heads before we ever decide to go to a frat house full of horny men and drink and do ketamine? I don't understand the mindset that would think that anyone should be entitled to engage in risky behavior like that and be immune from danger or consequence.

The arguements for an "Age of consent" or regulation of sexual relations are put in place to protect the kids (Minors, etc) but what if you have a truely curious under age person who is interested in exploring their sexuality with someone older? People tend to assume that doing so with someone in your age group is for the best (After all, doing so with someone older is a crime!) but from a dispassionate point of view, is it really?

An older, more expirienced person is more likely to use a condom, as well as more likely to use it correctly. They're more likely to use lube and take precautions. Do you honestly think it is better for a gay boy to have his first encounter where there is tearing of the tissues? Likewise for a girl.

I personally agree that an adult should never have sex with a minor they have sway over (Preist, teacher, etc) but I also think the law as it stands does a disservice to "advanced" minors who just want to expiriment with more expirienced people. Or, horror of horrors, actually falls in love with an older person! (I know in highschool I lusted after a certain biology teacher. She wasn't MY teacher, but dizamn was she cute.)

Many of the arguements against are typical reactionary knee-jerk bullshit. How often do you hear "But it is bad for the kids!" or "It warps their little minds!" without anything else to back it up? A thinking man might say "Well, the female's vaginal tract doesn't fully mature until 18-21, making it much more prone to damage before that age" (true, btw) but no, you get idiotic out lashings. I'd even go so far as to say that it is those idiotic outlashings that CAUSE most of the "warping" that society's knee jerk reaction of "That is wrong He touched you in a naughty spot!" does more damage than the act itself.
