This doesn't come as a surprise. Freedom Wars Remastered, also published by Bandai Namco, injected the Body Type A/B into its characters creator while the original version was male or female.
The implementation in this game however, it's so obvious how it's all performative. The two protagonist models aren't presets to a character creator. They were both introduced by official accounts and Japanese magazines as Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki. Both of them are playable-one is controlled by the player and the other one serve as remote operative support role. To call either them of them as Type A and Type B is so disingenuous. They didn't hire artist Suzuhito Yasuda and instruct him to design a Type A and Type B characters, they told him to design a male and female. These are role play characters with set designs, not customizable self-insert.
It's all so tiresome. Until the demo is released shortly, I still can't confirm if the text came from the English localizer or it was mandated at the source by Bandai Namco's DEl/ethics department but I doubt the developers themselves have any say to this. All of the female character designs are beautiful, sexy and attractive. Best case scenario, they could have just used their names, but no let's call them Type A and Type B to virtue signal for some of those sweet ESG points.

The discussion triggers moral outrage: the aim is to create an intense confrontation, criticizing and humiliating the alleged aggressor. The circus-like spectacle often unfolds with the moderator siding with the alleged victims. The aim is to provoke strong emotion in the viewer, encouraging public condemnation of the aggressors (response) in the name of social justice.
This hate-mongering strategy—a veritable "moral pyromania"—is widely used on social media to garner views. People flood comment boxes with insults they'd be incapable of uttering face-to-face. But hasty moral judgments lead to false accusations and new victims.
A paradigmatic case was that of Nicholas Sandmann (2019). A short video showed the teenager, wearing a "MAGA" hat, apparently confronting a Native American veteran, Nathan Phillips. The scene generated viral accusations of racism and led to massive public attacks against the young man, as the video excerpt was republished in leading media outlets such as the Washington Post and CNN. However, longer videos revealed that he did not provoke the confrontation.Sandmann, dissatisfied, filed defamation lawsuits against the media outlets that reported the story without journalistic accuracy.
Moral outrage fatigue can also generate another reaction: role reversal, leading individuals initially identified as aggressors to present themselves as the true victims of a system that persecutes them. This promotes an inverse aggression—helping to understand the current rise of radical ideas at the opposite pole of so-called political correctness—creating a vicious cycle of hostility and intolerance.
The public space should be a stage for civilized debate. Problems are not resolved through extremist discussions, with insulting epithets that seek to discredit the interlocutor (phobic, xenophobic, racist, etc.). Moral indignation is a volatile emotion and is not anchored in true ethics, often leading to a radicalized, violent, persecutory, and thoughtless social environment.

Over the radio I heard a news update on the name change go thusly: "President Trump has changed the name of the Department of Defense back to the Department of War. It had originally been established as the Department of War under President Washington. After World War II, the name was changed to the Department of Defense to reflect the US's rejection of its former aggressive policy towards war."
Now the editorializing in the last sentence is just wholly inappropriate for a news update in the first place. I want to stress, this wasn't from a pundit or even a long form news show, it was one of those brief updates they put in the commercial breaks on the radio. However this one is particularly ridiculous. What person would look at the military history of the US and say that the staunchly isolationist pre-WWII US was "more aggressive" than the world policeman post-WWII US?
Misogyny goes through phases in Western culture. It only resurfaced in young men the past 5+ years with Andrew Tate and growing unrest in young male circles.
Modern misogyny is not like it was 50 years ago. Women nowadays are raised seeing men as lesser and having one sided relationship standards. Men are told constantly to tow the line and worship women or else they aren't man enough, men are told that women can do no wrong, and this toxic mindset has forced young men to swing the other direction and start practising misogyny.
Obviously neither side is justified. Men should treat women better, and women need to respect and treat men better. The MeToo movement was hijacked and transformed into a way to go beyond holding men accountable and actually unfairly persecuting men for simply being men.
Modern men are repeatedly told they are dangerous to women, they are repeatedly treated like predators and women have all the say. Women always come out better in court (mothers always get the kids, wives always get the lions share of assets). Women are no longer paid less in the workplace, they are actually paid more than men due to programs that once incentivised female recruitment now heavily favour women in general.
What you are seeing is young men fighting back in any way they can to reset the status quo and feel more valued and less targeted. It's still not right, I agree, and I hate Andrew Tate as much as anyone, but there is a very good reason idiots like Andrew Tate have such strong influence on men these days, and the fault lies with the actions and behaviours of modern women.

I sincerely and strongly believe there is a "there" there in the Epstein files. One witness, who was among the more credible, talked about the authorities withholding files of her own abuse from her in the sweetheart 2008 plea deal.

Michael Velchik, the government lawyer, received both his undergraduate and law degree from Harvard. Sheahan worked as an aide to Noem in South Dakota, and she was running the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries when Noem installed her at ICE in March, initially trying to make her the agency’s top official. Other administration officials objected, and Todd Lyons, a veteran ICE official, has remained in the acting-director role.
Sheahan, whose job consists of running ICE’s “day-to-day operations,” according to her official bio, has alienated many career officials who dislike being bossed around by a 28-year-old who has never worked in immigration enforcement. Eight current and former officials told me that Sheahan affects a brusque, bruising personal manner that they believe she deploys to compensate for her lack of law-enforcement credentials.
“They put her in there because she has a very, very close connection to the secretary, to be her eyes and ears and keep watch on what’s going on,” one official told me. “She’s been demanding a gun and a badge constantly, even though she’s never gone through any training or done anything to earn those things.”
Sheahan has been thrust into a role she’s not ready for, one official said. “When you start from a position of weakness, you have to do things outside of the comfort zone to make it seem like you have authority,” the official told me. There are new framed photos of Sheahan participating in ICE raids hanging outside the executive suites on the 11th floor of the agency’s headquarters, along with photos of Noem, but few of ICE acting director Todd Lyons, two officials told me.
In recent weeks ICE officials have been working out an arrangement that would grant Sheahan limited customs-inspection authority to give her a firearm she could carry inside federal buildings, three officials told me.

The reason for it is that I gave up collecting all those studies like pokemons and deleted them all from my favorites, because it was really some kind of soul-draining consumerism. If the trans movement cared about children, they wouldn’t push parents out of their children’s lives. Children need their parents. The narrative is being pushed that parents of LGBTQ are bad. Even in the law, you are innocent until proven guilty. But if your child says they are “trans” you are guilty until proven innocent. To prove you are innocent, you must harm your own child by transitioning them. You are not allowed to ask questions; you can only follow the child’s lead. Fortunately, a new law just passed in North Carolina that says it's not abuse for parents to refuse their kid's gender transition. This is going in the right direction, and we need this in all states.
The Trevor Project is also anti-family. It perpetuates secrets and encourages minors to talk with strangers. We all grew up knowing that if someone told you to keep secrets from your parents, that person is not to be trusted. But in the trans world, keeping secrets from parents is encouraged. In normal times, if a child is suicidal, the parents would be the first to know. But somehow this logic switched to the idea that teachers and random people care more about “trans” children than parents do - all without a shred a proof. No one cares more about their child than their parents! Why does this even have to be explained?
A random person talking to a minor and keeping secrets with that minor is a child predator NOT a child protector.

There are a lot of people who are really looking for a label. Feeling fucked up, having been told you are fucked up all your life, and then having someone in a position of authority tell you exactly how you are fucked up, complete with a shiny label can be a great relief to many people. Very validating. Even if the diagnosis is wrong. Even if you have been gaslit into seeing the problem being you instead of say, an abusive parent or partner. I guess I kind of get how that could be a relief, if I look at it from a physical disease point of view. If you feel physically unwell for a long time and then finally you find a doctor who can diagnose you, most people will feel relieved and feel like they have some control (even if it isn't a lot or if the diagnosis is wrong). They can focus on the diagnosis, look for information, and try to fix it. Most people just don't deal with uncertainty of lack of control very well. I don't know if I would recommend most people go to therapy. It is expensive, and I've known a lot of clinical folks in my professional life and many of them have as many issues as the people they are trying to help. And the potential for abuse is HUGE!!! I don't believe men belong in the helping professions, but there are a lot of destructive women who gravitate there too. Having said that, I wouldn't write the whole profession off. It is probably more effective if the person going into it has some really clear goals, and does their research into therapy orientations. I think a lot of women really just need to been seen and heard, and I also think that removing men from their lives would do wonders for both their mental and physical health ;)
And as I’ve explored the therapy professions (social work, clinical psychology, clinical psychiatry, etc), I keep coming back to the same question or set of questions.

I do believe that there is something alien to men. I have studied alien beings for most of my life (and even seen some myself), and it is striking to me how similar their predatory behavior is. I know this might sound way out there, but I see parallels here: Aliens, as abductees say, have to feed on humans to fill their empty batteries, much like men need to re-energize by PIVing women.
