I’d just like to say that I’m really sick of the over-the-top outrage displayed by so many at every imaginable instance of sexual activity in anyone, especially females, under the age of 18.

18 is an arbitrary, (but certainly useful) dividing line between childhood and adulthood, it is not a precise and reliable measure of maturity in every human being.

When it comes to sex, nature itself says that human females are sexually ready at puberty, which can occur at almost any age, but is usually 11 or 12 and up. Therefore, it is not sick, twisted and worthy of a lynch mob when men find themselves responding to post-pubescent girls, no matter what their actual chronological age is. The tacky saying about grass on the field is technically true, and it’s not honest to demonize men for desires that are entirely natural. Nor are men who find themselves sexually attracted to post pubescent girls pedophiles. They are ephebophiles, and there’s really nothing wrong with that, in and of itself. It’s how we’re built.

And as long as I’m at it, I’ll bitch a little about rape, too: while the label “rape” may be justly applied to any sexual act that is non-consensual, not all rape is equal, or equally horrible and damaging. I’ve been a victim of “date rape”, when I was just a girl (a slutty girl who was inappropriately acting out her issues by giving it away to almost anyone) when a sailor I was on a “date” with forced me to have sex with him in a bathroom. It wasn’t a great experience. And I think it undermines the very real and horrible damage that is done by genuine pedophiles and rapists when we treat everything the same. Trans supporters have never explained how souls are getting trapped in the wrong bodies. Obviously, it cannot be natural. Naturally, a soul would be fundamentally connected to the body, and therefore “soul in the wrong body” is an impossible problem. Therefore, the only explanation for this is some kind of malicious otherworldly entity. We should be asking these people to explain what this entity is, and if there is a way to fight it. Can we, for instance, travel to the plane of existence in which this entity resides, and use magic runes to destroy or at least imprison it so it cannot continue to switch souls into the wrong bodies?

If fighting the entity responsible is not possible, would it be possible to build a machine to align souls with the bodies? Most people did not think souls were sexual, and that it was the body that was sexual, with the soul residing in it, but if the soul is sexual, is there a way to change the sex of the soul, rather than mutilating the body? If I believed in this theory, I would also want to explore the possibility of soul-switching: can you take a boy who has the wrong soul and a girl who has the wrong soul and switch their souls into the other’s body?

It is an extreme metaphysical claim that a soul can be in the wrong body, and yet somehow, this is not being addressed at all. They just declare it, without elaborating on the mechanism. If people believe in this sort of thing, there is no reason we shouldn’t be looking at using magic to rectify the situation. If someone believes a soul can be switched in the first place, there is no reason it cannot be switched back, which would prevent so many problems.

Agreed. Unfortunately for us, morality is an abstract which gives too much leeway for moids to do whatever they want and to label it however they want. Recently things that used to be adult movie plots are being used as an excuse to "spice up" the bedroom. Elon Musk has used his large platform on X to promote a theory that a free-thinking “Republic” could only exist under the decision-making of “high status males” – and women or “low T men” would not be welcome in it.

On Sunday, Musk re-posted a screenshot of the theory – which appears to have been conceived on 4chan in 2021– on the social media site.

The theory, written by an anonymous user, suggests that the only people able to think freely are “high [testostrone] alpha males” and “aneurotypical people”, and that these “high status males” should run a “Republic” that is “only for those who are free to think.”

The whole issue of consent is bullshit. Why is sex so special? Other than because a religion tells you it is. Look at how muslim countries approach it, it's illegal to even hold hands. Should holding hands be illegal before the age of consent here? It's just as logical. But I don't think the big religions are in support of a 17 years old age of consent when Mary was only 13 and Mohammad married a 7 year old. If you believe in God, why would he make us biologically sexually active at around 12, if it was wrong to have sex until 17?

The age of consent was upped to 16 to stop the common act of forced child prostitution which was a just law, but it shouldn't apply anymore. My state has a year extra from the others because of crazy puritans. The fact that secular liberal countries have different ages shows how arbitrary and unfair they are.

Do we need to use age in the law? What about driving for another example. If the best 12 year old in the country can pass their driving test and has provably higher ability than any adult, should they not be allowed to drive? There are plenty of 18 year olds psychologically unfit to be driving but they're allowed to because the law is based on age only, and then they go and get other people killed because of it. It doesn't make sense to draw the line based on the position of the Earth around the sun. What would happen if like in many sci-fi stories, adult humans could be farmed much quicker. Would a 6 month old that had the body of a 20 year old have to wait until 37 to have sex? I don't like having laws without clearly defined loopholes that allow the innocent people their basic rights in life, and the most basic is that you own your own body. To me defining a law by age is no more logical than defining it by sex or race. It's accepted females mature quicker than males, if it was really about the psychological maturity necessary for informed consent why aren't there different ages for males and females?
