I think your timeline is backwards.
By 1948, Orwell, a lettered man of the left, pretty much knew what the communists were thinking. Yes there were a lot of Jews and ex-Jews, but they had a lot of help. Orwell was trying to expose them to those who would be called "normies" today. They thought he was warning them about the Russians and missed what was going in in their own nations.

I’ve thought about this a lot, and it seems really obvious that the end goal of feminism and all of these messages is really to keep people as childless as possible, as self-sterilized as possible. They want to educate children themselves and feed them all their own messages. And so God is giving us a sign in the weather of what he is doing and here's what he's doing.
