I agree with the main thesis here but differ on most of the details. I would say that first person, realistic video games where you can choose the protagonist's gender, are AGP training systems for males specifically, and generally trans identity trainers. Very similarly to porn, they train the brain to eroticise a certain persona. In fact they eroticise an identity - in the sense it was used before trans, as well as its current sense. If you go back to Lara Croft, Tomb Raider, this is the deliberate eroticisation of male players projecting into an attractive female body, operating it while also voyeuristically observing it. This has been a staple of first person video games ever since. Within a decade or so this type of identification was leaking into porn, first of all edgy and specialised, later becoming mainstream and endemic. From there the fetish broke out into the real world as part of the general mainstreaming of fetish behaviour and porn behaviour. The current gaming world is still filled with male players who erotically connect with sexualised protagonists. This is a huge proportion of male gamers, maybe a majority. Millions of males, maybe tens or hundreds of millions, have been trained to have AGP sexual responses.

Three indications of this are (a) I’m averse to changes in clothing; I tend to wear black t-shirts every single day, (b) I am quite interested in data and statistics, (c) I am unconcerned about the popularity or social respectability of the conclusions that I reach and the opinions I espouse

With regards to “gun violence”, I’ve done a deep dive on the topic, and all of the data that I read indicates that violence isn’t associated with the presence of guns, but with the presence of African Americans. Blacks commit violent crimes at 5-10x the rate of whites. This is one reason that there’s such an amazingly tight correlation between states with a majority white population, and states with extraordinarily low crime rates

I agree that “awareness” is important; people need to understand facts if they’re going to push for the correct policies to reduce violence

You have my pledge that I will wear a black T-shirt on Friday June 6, to help make people aware of the fact that crime is predominantly caused by African Americans, and not by guns

I came to astrology in recent years and take issue with the discussion because everyone wants to refute it, but no one wants to investigate it. The point of becoming a scientist is to answer questions of the unknown; to assume science already knows everything is obviously false. In regard to this particular debate, neither side knows what they're talking about in terms of how astrology works, they just know how it makes them feel. There is a lot of poor information about astrology that dilutes the truth, but the same can go for almost anything. I would have loved to be on this debate because I'm not delusional - I understand the science of astronomy but also understand the potential soft science of astrology. It is a soft science, and the more it's studied, the more will come from it. It doesn't help that we have "scientists" that just dismiss it. I would have done a much better job explaining astrology without looking like an "energy" nutcase.

Microsoft's Halo, or more specifically the Halo Subreddit Thread has been reported to be banning users who reference June as Men's Mental Health Awareness Month instead of referring to it as Pride Month.

Oh how inclusive they are, and here many people thought that Halo was accepting of everyone especially since the majority of Halo Players are Men who play the games and buy the merchandise. But hey, try telling Halo that when their subreddit is banning people for trying to spread awareness about Men's Mental Health and Veterans' PTSD along with removing their posts by saying they "violated subreddit rules" and warning them to not "ban evade" while also promoting posts about Pride Month.

This no doubt has ruffled many feathers especially since the possibility of a mere notion of even mentioning about Men's Mental Health could result in a ban. People can talk about Pride Month and promote it, but apparently talking about the mental health of men and promoting it is a big taboo subject, one that can result in a backlash against you.

Double Standards much? What's even worse is that Halo is supposed to be a Gaming Community so in theory you are supposed to be talking about Halo in general and not much else, but like with other big game names such as Assassin's Creed they have become politicized and obsessed with Social Justice.

Either way, wouldn't be surprised if Halo loses the majority of their players and they stop buying Halo stuff. Regardless, be sure to spread that June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month and PTSD Awareness Month. God knows that Men need the support and would appreciate it.

The courts in DC use AI-driven software with predictive analytic algorithms to help prosecutors select a jury pool that is most likely to provide the verdict they seek. This software was not only used in DC to select Roger Stone’s jury but a NY State version of that software was also used in the selection of the Grand Jury in the case of Alvin Bragg’s attempts to seek an indictment against President Trump.

With the use of such AI-driven software, the odds are already in favor of the prosecutor from the beginning, as AI and quasi quantum algorithms crunch immense amounts of data to ensure that the state or federal agency is most likely to win. In fact, with the help of AI, Bragg got a document together that was not entirely legally sound or coherent but had a Grand Jury pool that AI selected that was most favorable to indict anything that involved President Donald J Trump. In summary, in this case, the prosecutor was essentially an AI, as Bragg’s team fed millions of documents that President Donald J. They run the code, and boom. It starts spreading. Quietly. Invisibly. Maybe it embeds itself in software, maybe it rides through updates or just hides in plain sight. I just found out something crazy about Wi-Fi and all these other different frequency bands and it is shocking.

Okay, so I just finished a deep-dive study (yes, I’m the author) on the Great Pyramid, and here’s the wild part: the numbers actually back up the idea that it was intentionally built to work as a massive passive capacitor.

I ran a bunch of simulations using the real geometry and material properties (limestone casing, granite chambers with piezoelectric quartz, etc). The results? The pyramid could store around 462 nF of charge, with a potential over 1.5 million volts. That’s not just a random side effect-my analysis suggests the design choices were deliberate to maximize these electrostatic properties.

No one’s done in-pyramid electrostatic field measurements yet, so this is all based on modeling and simulation, but the evidence is there. If we ever get to do real field tests, I think we’ll find the pyramid is way more than just a tomb.

No video I’ve ever seen has made as slum-dunk of an open-and-shut case as this one, that humans from Earth have never set foot on the Moon.

I never wanted to doubt that “we” went to the Moon. It was etched into my identity as an American since I was a toddler. I’ve seen other videos, which made convincing arguments against the veracity of certain photographs, that convinced me that some of the photos were faked. I figured it was difficult, with those cumbersome spacesuits and the challenging conditions on the Lunar surface to get a high-quality photograph. I figured that NASA wanted to make the most of their momentous achievement, so they did a little fibbing with certain images.

This video has ended any debate about the whole business of men landing on the Moon, in the words of NASA personnel, themselves.

You know your child best. If you feel that the recent months or years have weakened your good relationship with your child, drop everything and work on rebuilding it—it requires a focused effort, but it is not as difficult as you think. Remember that despite appearances, your child still needs his or her mom more than you think. Having an upset teen doesn’t mean that the core of your relationship is broken.

Your child is going through a normal unhappy adolescence and is attempting to individuate. The good thing is that this is all normal and healthy and thus will pass when this developmental phase evolves into the next. The bad thing is that the individuation via transgender identity is a maladaptive coping strategy and the entire world seems to affirm the delusion. This complicates things. Don’t get discouraged when your child doesn’t listen to facts and calls you transphobic. Teens all think that they know better, and while incredibly annoying, this is developmentally normal.

For goodness sake, do talk to your child about the facts. Yes, they will cry, yell, storm out, shut down, call your names—at first. This doesn’t mean that you should be tiptoeing around those big feelings and waiting until your child will magically realize they have been misled by a cult. They need the facts about biological reality like they need air. Their initial emotional reaction is entirely normal and this doesn’t mean that sharing facts is ineffective, unproductive, and should be avoided. Remember that your child still implicitly trusts you. They are still subconsciously immersed in the feeling that you are their Entire Universe. Your child will not change his or her mind based on a single video that you might share, but without this video or that article there will be no growth and no foundation on which to build their path to desistance.
