Yet more evidence emerges that our universe is a grand simulation created by an intelligent designer

(NaturalNews) There's a lot of buzz in the news about a new scientific study that statistically supports the idea that our known universe is actually a grand computer simulation. This is mainstream science, and the idea isn't a whacky as you might first suppose. I've actually written about this several times in articles about consciousness and the nature of reality. This news, by the way, also supports the idea of a Creator who brought this universe -- and everything in it -- into existence by design.

A new scientific paper published in arXiv and co-authored by Silas Beane from the University of Bonn reveals strong statistical evidence that our reality is, indeed, a grand computer simulation. The title of the paper is Constraints on the Universe as a Numerical Simulation.

Here's what it means in layman's terms
Here's the super easy way to understand all this. Your computer display screen has a finite number of pixels available, and this is called the "screen resolution" such as 1920 x 1440. This means there are 1920 pixels across and 1440 pixels vertically.

Everything you see on your computer screen must be drawn and depicted using these pixels, and nothing can be displayed that's only half a pixel. For example, you can't draw a vertical line on the screen that exists between the pixels that are hard-wired into the screen resolution. Everything you view on the monitor -- a computer game, a website, even a video -- is essentially transposed onto the "lattice" of pixels that exist in your hardware.

Your hardware, in effect, has a hard-wired "resolution limit" which defines the smallest size of any object that can be depicted on the screen.

Now, zoom out to the "real" world in which we live. Here in the real world, we think that there are no pixels and that we can move fluidly to any location we wish. We are not digitized being, we think; we're analog beings living in a fluid world without the pixelation of a computer screen, right?

Not so fast. As it turns out, our "reality" is also pixelated, just at a very fine resolution. This study out of Bonn revealed that the energy level of cosmic rays "snaps to" the "resolution" of the universe in which we live. The very laws of electromagnetic radiation, in other words, are confined by the resolution of the three-dimensional simulation we call a "universe."

The existence of this construct, if proven, also proves intelligent design by a conscious Creator who built the universe to begin with. This is the upshot of this scientific discovery that most scientists refuse to acknowledge. But the conclusion is inescapable: If our universe is a carefully-constructed simulation, then by definition there must have been a purpose behind its construction as well as a Creator who built it.

For the record, my personal belief is that the Creator set all the physical constants in the universe and then initiated the so-called "Big Bang" and let things play out from there. I do not believe our Creator "tinkers" with the universe at a micro level on a day-to-day basis. But I do believe there very well may have been individuals throughout history who found ways to "bend the rules" of the Matrix ever so slightly and thereby perform the very kind of miracles we see described in ancient texts.

"The structure of the underlying lattice"
The authors of this new paper describe their conclusion as following: "The numerical simulation scenario could reveal itself in the distributions of the highest energy cosmic rays exhibiting a degree of rotational symmetry breaking that reflects the structure of the underlying lattice."

This "underlying lattice" is what I'm describing as a "resolution" of our physical simulation.

There's other evidence of this, too: Plank's Constant, for example, is by itself yet more evidence that the physical universe in which we live is quantized to a particular resolution. In fact, even light behaves in a quantized manner, which is why "light packets" are called quanta.

Our universe, it turns out, is digital, not analog. Heck, even your DNA is digital, not analog. You are a digitized physical being imbued with a non-material consciousness that transcends this physical simulation. Realizing this is a lot like taking the red pill in The Matrix and being shown that the universe you thought was real is actually just a grand computer simulation.

Of course, once you grasp that we are living in a grand simulation, the next obvious question is: Who built it?

Intelligent Design
One obvious answer is that we built it! Not "we" the humans here on Earth, but rather the "we" which is a highly advanced civilization of seemingly supernatural beings with incomprehensibly powerful technology. We collectively built the simulation, the theory goes, and then agreed to selectively insert our consciousness into the simulation in order to have a "human life experience" on this planet. But that's only one possibility from all this.

Another possible answer is that HE built it. Who is He? He is God, our Creator. He is a consciousness with literal God-like powers who is omnipresent and all-powerful. He created our universe (i.e. designed and then launched the simulation) while providing a mechanism for free will consciousness to "wake up" inside the simulation in the bodies of newly-born beings. Upon death in the simulation, your consciousness leaves the simulation and returns to its source, which is the actual reality that transcends this one. This is possibly why people who have survived near-death experiences consistently report their experience as being a "hyper reality" that feels like it is "a thousand times more real than life on Earth."

For the record, I have always believed in a supernatural Creator of our universe; our God. I also believe -- and have good evidence -- that God is an all-loving being and that the overriding purpose of our existence in this universe is to express our free will and thereby have a self-aware experience which advances our knowledge of who we are. More details on this below...

What would be the purpose of intelligently designing a grand computer simulation?
If our universe was consciously created, then it must have been created for a purpose. In his book Proof of Heaven, near-death survivor Dr. Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon, describes the purpose in great detail on page 48 of his book:

Through the Orb, [God] told me that there is not one universe but many -- in fact, more than I could conceive -- but that love lay at the center of them all. Evil was present in all the other universes as well, but only in the tiniest trace amounts. Evil was necessary because without it free will was impossible, and without free will there could be no growth -- no forward movement, no chance for us to become what God longed for us to be. Horrible and all-powerful as evil sometimes seemed to be in a world like ours, in the larger picture love was overwhelmingly dominant, and it would ultimately be triumphant.

The primary purpose of life in this realm, it seems, is to experience personal growth and learn how to overcome Evil. This explains why we all seem to be surrounded by so much evil on a day-to-day basis. We are drowning in evil precisely because our souls chose to be here and learn how to defeat it.

At the end of our Earthly lives, we are then judged on our performance. As I wrote in a previous article:

Upon our death, we are judged by a higher power, and that judgment takes into account our performance in these areas. Did we achieve a measure of self-awareness? Did we work to overcome evil? Did we express love and compassion and help uplift others with knowledge and awareness?

As you've probably already figured out, the vast majority of humans fail these tests. They die as bitter, selfish, substance-addicted, greed-driven minions of evil who mistakenly thought they were winning the game of life while, in reality, they were losing the far more important test of the Creator.

Looking around at our fellow human beings, you can't help but agree with my assessment that nearly everyone is failing the test. If we are here to overcome and resist evil, very few people are scoring very many points at all.

Having your consciousness attached to a human experience in this world seems to be the universal equivalent of "being thrown in the deep end" of Good vs. Evil. Making matters even more difficult, none of us is granted any sort of memory of why we are here and what we're supposed to do. We simply wake up as a newborn, and we have to figure things out for ourselves -- a challenge that often takes a lifetime. In fact, the achievement of "enlightenment" in a human lifetime is quite a remarkable feat by any measure.

What this means for your life
So what does all this mean in terms of the way you live your life here on Earth? If you believe the universe really is a grand simulation created by a higher power, then it forces you to rethink your philosophy on the purpose of life.

Some might say this is the perfect excuse to resort to selfish hedonism and turn your entire life into one vast entertainment parade. But that seems to be the wrong conclusion from all this, precisely because it ignores the importance of personal growth. I do not believe our universe is a childish playground; I believe it is a serious test of spiritual strength. You may or may not agree with all my points, but here's my philosophy on what to do with this realization:

#1) Don't chase material things that aren't even real in the first place. You are living in a simulation that's as un-real as an old 8-bit Atari computer game. Your focus on trying to collect money and wealth in this world is about as foolish as trying to collect gold coins in a role-playing computer game.

#2) Live your life to WIN the simulation. "Winning" means persistently working to defeat evil, demonstrate love and help awaken others. Rack up your "karma" points, so to speak. Because that's how you will be judged once your earthly life comes to an end.

#3) Know that your behavior is being watched, recorded and judged. There are ultimately no secrets. You will, in time, face judgment on all your actions, and it's even possible that an entire civilization of advanced Creators will review your actions with you. (This is what is often described by those who survive NDEs.) Your actions in this simulation are recorded on your soul for eternity, so make them count. Don't do anything your soul would feel ashamed of.

#4) Know that death is not final. What matters far more than staying alive on this planet is living your life with principle. Your decisions (ethics) survive your human life! I would rather die defending principles of love and enlightenment than compromise those principles to save my own skin in this simulation. Life is fleeting, but the record of your morals and behavior lasts forever. If all this starts to sound a little Biblical, that's because the Bible is, I believe, based in part on information provided to us by the Creator of our grand simulation.

#5) Realize that your consciousness is eternal and you almost certainly "agreed" to come here and experience this life as a spiritual test. With that in mind, do your best to achieve success within the test by demonstrating behavior based in high spiritual principles.

Why I'm not afraid to tell the truth
Once you grasp all this, you realize why I am not afraid to speak my mind and report the truth here on Natural News. People often ask me, "Aren't you afraid of being killed?" While I do take tactical precautions to avoid being prematurely removed from this simulation, I simultaneously realize that there is ultimately nothing to be afraid of in this simulated world.

What's to be afraid of, really? Most of the people who claim to have power in this world will be reduced to Hellish minions after their death. If you look at truly evil people in this world, you realize that those people have already doomed their souls in the real world beyond this one. They will suffer from the Hell they have brought upon themselves by living lives of deception. We who tell the truth are spiritual giants compared to those who gain false power through deception.

That's why never selling out is an absolutely must if you hope to pass the spiritual test of life. If you sell out to corporate interests or an evil agenda that suppresses freedom or health, you quite literally sell out your own soul far beyond this one lifetime. The phrase "eternal damnation" comes to mind...

On the issue of gun rights, by the way, all this helps explain why self defense is a divine right. We all deserve the right to prevent our souls from being prematurely removed from the simulation (i.e. being killed). Guns are simply tools that can help us defend our physical bodies so that our spiritual bodies can continue with their intended experiences in this reality. This is why those of high spirituality have traditionally carried swords and other weapons of self defense. Even Jesus recommend people carry swords for protection, even as they pursue spiritual awakening.

A gun defends the body so that the spirit can do its work, in other words. But that's only true if the use of gun is reserved for self defense only. To use a gun to commit unjustified violence against innocents is obviously a terrible sin and a catastrophic spiritual failure.

Conclusion: Has science proven the existence of God?
If all this science is true, it would mean that science has proven the existence of a Creator (as well as intelligent design).

This is certainly not the intention of science, as much of modern-day science seems to be dead-set against the idea of intelligent design. Yet even if the entire universe can be traced back to the Big Bang and Inflation Theory (with Inflatons) there is still the lingering question of "Who or what initiated the Big Bang?"

If you really look deeply into the laws of physics, by the way, you will discover that the so-called universal constants that drive the underlying mechanics and energies of our universe have been intricately fine-tuned precisely to give rise to a universe that can support biological life. Change one of these constants just slightly and stars don't form. Change another constant and the universe flings itself apart before life can form on any planets. These are at least six physical constants that appear to have been delicately tuned, selected or somehow "set" sort of like a universal control panel with properties and parameters.

There's an interesting book on this subject by science writer Paul Davies, by the way. It's called The Goldilocks Enigma: Why Is the Universe Just Right for Life? I've read most of it and recommend the book to other seekers who are looking for the deepest answers about the nature of reality and how it all came to be.

When it comes to support for the Bible most people don't even believe in the Bible for physical, tangible or scientific reasons. We believe in the Bible by moral and spiritual experiences with the teachings of the Bible which can all be proven to be true by simple practice. Just like you can go outside and touch sand if you want to know that it is real not believe in someone else telling you it is real, you actually experience it using your senses. (ie. if you want to know if prayer works, you can actually pray and when you receive an answer then you have evidence that it actually works,and you don't stop there you keep trying the experiment watching it work over and over again. Plus you hear the experiences of many people all over the world who's results had been reproducible in your own life....etc...etc...) That is an experiment that is much more reliable to me in my opinion than someone taking DNA and putting through some chemicals and saying "yup, the apes are your cousins..." by some scientist whom I have no idea what motives lie behind their desires to disprove the claims of the Bible, nor whether they are acting out of bias or whether their claims are actually legitimate. Who's experiment's are not reproducible to me. It would be very very Hasty of me to discount the Bible because of someone elses claims especially not knowing their motives or verifying what they say. Which makes me wonder why so many of you are so Hasty to discount the Bible. If you have tested the bible on it's own claims about how to live your life then you would know that the principles work and bring greater happiness. No man-made system can nor does do that perfectly like the Bible can.

The one you mentioned is an example, as is the claim by some that sexuality has been proven to have no genetic basis. Those claims, however, do not change the fact that the basis for sexuality is unknown. What 'propaganda on the subject' did you receive in psychology class?"

Ex-gays have the genetic thing covered. There was perfectly good science before gays had it removed.
Psychology class: "Here is a CT scan of a hetero male, here is one of a gay male, see the difference? That proves they were born that way." No, there could be many explanations for the difference, perhaps one guy had a head ache, maybe addictive personality shows up differently, maybe...

Law of super position doesn't come close to proving anything, there has been trees found through several layers, indicating the layers were deposited there is a short period of time.
Same fossils on both sides does more to disprove evolution than to prove it, it is logical that if evolution actually occurred the creatures would differ being segregated by long distances.
Transitional fossils are a joke, merely someone's opinion of how they should go, there isn't one shred of proof that any one fossil evolved into another.
Nylon-eating bacteria can eat nylon, that is not all they eat. Not sure what relevance that has, a dog my parents once had ate it's own poop - that doesn't prove evolution either.
Radiometric and radiocarbon dating based on speculation and assumption, no one knows the starting level not any outside influences. You also might want to look up the 70 year old volcanic rock that was dated at over 3 million years.
Dendrochronology? The oldest tree was determined to be 4580 years old, not proof of evolution either.

You refuse to read a book full of faith, hope and charity and disregard it for the sake of your own argument...because you say it cannot be scientifically proven to be correct...but you are so wrong...and I keep telling you so because others  might be able to grasp that point better than you.

The universe exists and is full of electric energy. Science seeks to unify all that energy but can't...but the Holy Bible leaps thousands of years ahead of us and gives us all the key points to enable that understanding...and it all hinges upon Jesus Christ.

Jesus taught us how to harness that same force...for health, repair and resurrection.

Millions have put it to the test and found great value in its teaching.

Tyrants have had to bring that teaching under their own banner to secure the  support of those who believe.

Scientists have followed strict practices and codes under the banner of Jesus Christ in colleges supported by finances provided by believers.

The Jews and the Catholics have global empires built from Biblical knowledge.

Now it seems that the Earth is shaking, wobbling, erupting, flooding and wildly changing in climate and magnetic stability which would make even the most skeptic wonder about what is written in Revelation.

And me...who says that the evidence of ufos and the length and depth in space and time of all existence makes Almighty God a reality and, according to the Holy Bible, the highest authority over all members of that universal community.

Jesus Christ visited this planet and made righteousness a necessity for all those who might want to survive the final tribulation but if you aren't bothered enough to prepare in accordance with our savior...tough.

I feel duty bound to tell you these things because I know that there will be an insignificant replica of you left over after the last trumpet and the Bible description of what will happen to it isn't very nice...so...really...I'm trying to save you from yourself...but...resistance to salvation means that you wouldn't fit in anyway.

But my reasons to believe in God is actually:
1) the Bible. Why should the Bible be a big fat lie, huh? Why would someone trick us into an entire religion that isn't true? In the time the Bible were written, and if there was no Jesus? Don't you then think people would have noticed? Then the word would have been all over the world if you know what I mean, and then we would by no doubt know that the Bible is a big fat lie. BUT IT ISN'T!

2) the Big Bang. Why would a big explosion create Earth? Now lets see. Everything does have a cause no matter what, and what did exist before the Big Bang? Something must have created black and white and all the other colors. Now if a scientific nerd reads this he would probably make some reasons on how the Big Bang got created, but what created the stuff needed to create the Big Bang? Scientists still doesn't know what caused the Big Bang to happen.

Did you know that the Bible has often been many steps ahead of science?
Leviticus 17:11: “For the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you ... It is the blood, given in exchange for a life that makes purification possible.” For centuries after these words were written, scientists were bleeding the sick with leeches.

Job 28: 24, 25: “For he looked to the ends of the earth, and saw under the whole heaven, to make the weight for the winds; and he weighed the waters by measure.” Long after these words were written, scientists maintained that air is weightless. Eventually they caught up to the Bible and realized that air has weight.

Job 38: 19, 20: “Where does light come from, and where does darkness go? Can you take each to its home?” When God asked these questions of Job, he was showing him that light travels. It would take scientists many years to figure that out.

Isaiah 40:22 says, “God sits above the circle of the earth." For centuries after Isaiah, scientists thought it was flat.

I know the evidence; even if a human's DNA is 98% identical to an ape (or any other type of animal like that) it doesn't disprove the fact that God created everything. And considering that He did make everything and that He has all-power, why couldn't He make us identical to an ape while we still could be different from them? And what in the Bible HASN'T been recently proved as reliable?!

And I also agree with Goku and everyone else who has said that God could make the Earth look as old as He wanted to while it stays only 10,000 years old or a trillion years old?!

Everything that exists was created by God. God IS a scientist, and He made things very complex and with purpose.

I don't remember the name (sorry) but remember the principle (not created by Christians or Creationists) that determined that nothing can exist without something else; this principle is just as solid as gravity and applies especially to Creation.

That means in a nutshell that you couldn't evolve because in order to do so you would have to lose the most vital parts of yourself (like parts of your DNA/RNA!) overtime in order to gain a new one, which is not possible because your body would simply stop functioning altogether.

Before abortions were legal we had a pretty good world. We had people who invented different machines that made life easier and scientists who discovered many new vaccines and new antibiotics there were many great musicians and singers. There was crime too that has always been with us but it wasn't as in your face as it is today. People were nicer and had better manners and most went to church every Sunday. I know I really liked my life then. I remember being so shocked when abortions became legal no one thought it would it was considered so barbaric to kill babies in the womb. The best we could get from our politicians was don't worry your taxes will never go to murder babies so much for their promises today we do pay for them even though we don't want to. Our country really starting changing after that and really changed once those 60's hippies turned into politicians. There was also the new drug culture too. When I was growing up and in my teens I never knew anyone using drugs in fact even in college I didn't at first and then stayed away from anyone later if I found out they were. Things changed slowly at first but these past 15 yrs I have seen massive changes in life styles of the average person. Many no longer even believe there is sin or a moral way to live instead it is live and let live. The last 10 yrs has shoved the gay life styles down our throats and forces us to deal with them even if we don't want to. Now they want to pre select what kind of baby they have. They want to weed out what they consider to be defective or of the wrong sex. I am glad I'm getting older because if the end isn't soon I will be closer to going home by death because I really am having a hard time living in this crazy world we have today. We do still have the power of prayer and I guess I would rather have that than any other type of power.

[It's warmer than it's been since we began recording temperatures. We know this because the polar caps are rapidly melting, for example.

Is it a natural, cyclical event? Who knows! But I'm not going to deny global warming exists just because the liberals are capitalizing on it, or just because Rush Limbaugh says it ain't so. Believe it or not, scientists are occasionally right.

Global warming fits perfectly with many of the birth pangs described in the Bible, and also with the Bible's description of men "cursing the sun" and being "scorched by the sun's heat" in the Scriptures. Also with prophecies such as Luke 21, in which we're warned of men being perplexed by the "roaring and tossing of the waves". (Probably hurricanes, also caused by the warming) Then there are the famines described in the Bible, and other plagues which would go hand-in-hand with a climatic change.

Maybe they are cyclical changes! Who cares? It's still "global warming", even if it's not caused by man-made pollutants. The Bible plainly tells us that it will heat up, and that there will be major climatic changes. So why is it so easy for some to believe that we're seeing the beginning of the "wars and rumors of wars", pestilences, earthquakes, persecution against Christians, et cetera, yet so difficult to believe that the climate's changing? It's all a foreshadowing of what's to come.]

When he hears the sound, he automatically "associates" his last spanking with a wooden spoon and immediately stops the bad behaviour. Wow! Who would have ever thought all young mothers were smart enough to combine these techniques only taught in post graduate psychotherapy courses?"

is within reach of anybody who want to know God. There is this stupendous information God gives to mankind if he would only submit that he doesn't know it all instead of trusting in a culmination of combined knowledge over the centuries where they'll earn a few placards, papers, awards, degrees etc..He certainly isn't opposed to wisdom, power and wealth but knowing God is superior.

God reveals Himself in this manner that He isn't the hard, ruthless God some has portrayed Him to be. Some will post in here juvenile responses fit for adolescents of which reveal their true heart and easily detectible simply because they just don't understand and know God. It's refreshing to hear honest researchers simply report on the data and candidly admit where the evidence appears to lead. But this honesty comes at a terrible price. You would think that the scientific arena would promote objectivity and serious consideration of all ideas. But that's not what we find. In fact, it's just the opposite. Under such restrictions, as you would expect, researchers are forced to go along if they want to get along. Otherwise their careers are over before they've even begun. And it is within this environment that for some bizarre reason intelligent design has been absolutely barred from all discussion.

Guillermo Gonzalez is one of the astrobiologists who co-wrote the book, "The Privileged Planet". He was an assistant professor in the department of physics and astronomy at Iowa State University. When I checked into his background a little deeper I was disappointed to learn (but certainly not surprised) that after publishing his views in the book that he co-authored, his tenure was subsequently denied by the university when it came due. "Academic tenure is primarily intended to guarantee the right to academic freedom: it protects teachers and researchers when they dissent from prevailing opinion, openly disagree with authorities of any sort, or spend time on unfashionable topics. Thus academic tenure is similar to the lifetime tenure that protects some judges from external pressure. Without job security, the scholarly community as a whole may experience pressure to favor noncontroversial lines of academic inquiry. The intent of tenure is to allow original ideas to be more likely to arise, by giving scholars the intellectual autonomy to investigate the problems and solutions as they see fit, and to report their honest conclusions." (Wikipedia). After many appeals he has since moved on and currently resides at Ball State University in Indiana as an assistant professor in the department of physics and astronomy.

Two years prior to his consideration for tenure, approximately 130 members of the faculty of Iowa State University signed a statement opposing "all attempts to represent Intelligent Design as a scientific endeavor." Similar statements were issued by faculty at the University of Northern Iowa and at the University of Iowa. A total of approximately 400 professors signed the three petitions. Here are a few of the statements made:

"Intelligent Design has become a significant issue in science education, and it has now established a presence, even if minimal, at Iowa State University. Accordingly, if you are concerned about the negative impact of Intelligent Design on the integrity of science and on our university, please consider signing the "Statement on Intelligent Design by Iowa State University Faculty" below. We, therefore, urge all faculty members to uphold the integrity of our university of "science and technology," convey to students and the general public the importance of methodological naturalism in science, and reject efforts to portray Intelligent Design as science."

Wow. Does that sound like objective scientists to anybody? Banding together to pre-emptively strike down any and all theory of intelligent design, regardless of evidence. A Creator is just too unthinkable for these "scientists" regardless of where the evidence leads. Even the TV show, Ancient Aliens, is more objective than this bunch and regularly exposes the ridiculously flawed version of history we are required to believe. They, too, however, have an unthinkable attitude toward God, and so attribute our creation and assistance to aliens. The responsibility for the overwhelming evidence for our design has to belong to someone, right?

How very strange that any honest research that leads to logical conclusions pointing to intelligent design should be such an affront to the establishment, and so, be discredited straightaway. Once upon a time we formed theories based on evidence. Today we force the "evidence" to fit the theory and discard what doesn't fit. This inexcusable bias and intolerance to truth is, alas, the reality of the "science" of today. Shameful. We really have to do our own homework and fully utilize the Internet. Mainstream channels are unreliable and you simply won't find the truth on T.V. Hats off to the folks who are risking everything by resisting these academic bullies, sacrificing promotions and careers to reach us with the facts.

I hope this is not true. So-called anthropogenic global warming is a U.N. scam to bring in a whole new set of taxes called carbon taxes. It is junk science driven by an agenda to bring in a global governing body run by The U.N., CFR, IMF, World Bank, etc.

Did you know that several of the top global warming climate scientists got caught in exposed emails talking about how the warming had stopped in the late 90's, and discussing how they would "hide the decline" in temperatures from the public?

This hadith makes it absolutely clear that the Prophet Muhammad confirmed a clear scientific fact: If a fly falls into a vessel - before a person drinks from this vessel, he should dip the fly in his drink, before disposing of it.
Then he should drink the beverage, because it won’t do him any harm.
Why? Because one of the fly’s wings bears the disease, and the other bears the cure.

In Germany, the Church paid a very large sum of money to two scientists to disprove this hadith.
Since this hadith appears in the Al-Bukhari collection, we cannot claim that it is unreliable or anything, and so they thought that if they could prove that this hadith contradicts science, they would be dealing a devastating blow to Islam.

The scientists took samples from the wings of flies, and began to examine them, analyze them, and take samples from their surface, in order to expose what existed on each wing.
The devastating result constituted a slap in the face.

They said that on one of its wings, the fly carries a huge amount of different types of bacteria, which adhere to it when it lands on rotting pieces of food that it eats.
As for the other wing, Allah has given the fly the great ability to carry the antidotes to these microbes.

When Bayer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical company, learned about this study, it derieved great benefit from it.
It established biological breeding farms, where they would raise flies and extract antibiotics from their wings - the stronges antibiotics in the world.
This antibiotic is made into a course of five pills, which is given to the patient, and it is used - believe it or not, my brother - to treat AIDS patients.
It strengthens their immune system, and destroys all types of microbes with which they are afflicted.

My dad was talking about how somewhere in Arizona and places near it, there were petrified wood deposits that were up to 400 foot deep... he said "I wonder what kind of catastrophe could have caused that?" I said "Maybe it was the flood from the Bible." and then, my dad replied "When did that happen? Wasn't it two thousand years or so ago? Those deposits are millions of years old" I don't know...that's just something that bothers me. Scientists that study the Earth and things in it, they say things are millions of years old and then they "prove" that it is with carbon dating,...or whatever else they may use to study the age of the Earth and the things on it.

Now, honestly; I believe in a young earth...I know my dad believes in God, but obviously he doesn't take certain parts of the Bible as literal truth. Even if the Earth is millions of years old...that doesn't disprove God. It's just something that I think about...how would you explain petrified wood?

What are things a Christian can tell an atheist to make them doubt their belief?

It still stands as the only logical explanation of the creation of the universe, but it suffers because of ignorant translators. No one questions the order of life coming into this world, They question the existence of a God and His ability to do it. They question the time reported for Him to do it in. that is where the ignorant translators come in. the Hebrew word translated as day, actually originally meant a period of time, not a set 24 hour period, so it could have been millions of years. He didn’t mention dinosaurs, but he was writing for people 3,000 years ago and there were no dinosaurs 3,000 years ago, if he had mentioned it no one would have believed him until about 200 years ago. That’s it now if you are dense enough to think a common shepherd could have sat down and come up with that on his own, you deserve to be an insane atheist. Now let me prove Noah’s flood and the tower of Babbel

I don’t know of any scientists who believe there was ever a world wide flood as described in Genesis, and yet there is historical proof that there was one, and it was world wide. I don’t know of any scientist who believes the tower of Babel was the cause of all the different languages in the world, but again, there is historical proof, which is contained in the proof of the flood, that something like the tower of Babel happened. Nothing happens in this world unless God causes it or allows it to happen.

1. If there was a world wide flood, and if Noah had 3 sons, we would expect to find, in history, 3 separate stories of this flood that would be similar, but different, that came down through the following generations, one story for each son and his children. These stories, would be major stories that were recorded long before Moses wrote Genesis, possibly by thousands of years.

Historically this is exactly what we find.

2. If the Tower of Babel story is true, The names of Noah and his children and other principle characters, would be different.

Historically this is exactly what we find.

3. If this was a true world wide event, we would find similar stories in almost every culture in the world.

Historically this is exactly what we find.

4. If the Tower of Babel story is true, none of these stories would contain the same names of any character in the Bible story.

Historically this is exactly what we find.

Conclusion: since all of the above is true, this proves the existence of God, proves the happening of a world wide flood, and proves an event that can be equated with the Tower of Babel story where all the languages of the world were changed from an original language.

Noah’s name in the 3 major stories handed down by his three sons was, Atrahasis, Utnapishtim, and Deucalion. All of these stories are known to have been recorded prior to the writing of Genesis.

In addition to these three major stories, there are over 500 other stories of a world wide flood, that have been found through out the world.

All of these stories can be found on the internet, by doing a search for “flood traditions.”

Final conclusion: there was a world wide flood, God exists, The Tower of Babel, happened.

The Dilemma: Science or Bayes?

RI, you've got no idea how glad I was to see you post that comment.

Of course I had more than just one reason for spending all that time posting about quantum physics. I like having lots of hidden motives, it's the closest I can ethically get to being a supervillain.

But to give an example of a purpose I could only accomplish by discussing quantum physics...

In physics, you can get absolutely clear-cut issues. Not in the sense that the issues are trivial to explain. But if you try to apply Bayes to healthcare, or economics, you may not be able to formally lay out what is the simplest hypothesis, or what the evidence supports. But when I say "macroscopic decoherence is simpler than collapse" it is actually strict simplicity; you could write the two hypotheses out as computer programs and count the lines of code. Nor is the evidence itself in dispute.

I wanted a very clear example—Bayes says "zig", this is a zag when it came time to break your allegiance to Science.

"Oh, sure," you say, "the physicists messed up the many-worlds thing, but give them a break, Eliezer! No one ever claimed that the social process of science was perfect. People are human; they make mistakes."

But the physicists who refuse to adopt many-worlds aren't disobeying the rules of Science. They're obeying the rules of Science.

The tradition handed down through the generations says that a new physics theory comes up with new experimental predictions that distinguish it from the old theory. You perform the test, and the new theory is confirmed or falsified. If it's confirmed, you hold a huge celebration, call the newspapers, and hand out Nobel Prizes for everyone; any doddering old emeritus professors who refuse to convert are quietly humored. If the theory is disconfirmed, the lead proponent publicly recants, and gains a reputation for honesty.

This is not how things do work in science; rather it is how things are supposed to work in Science. It's the ideal to which all good scientists aspire.

Now many-worlds comes along, and it doesn't seem to make any new predictions relative to the old theory. That's suspicious. And there's all these other worlds, but you can't see them. That's really suspicious. It just doesn't seem scientific.

If you got as far as RI—so that many-worlds now seems perfectly logical, obvious and normal—and you also started out as a Traditional Rationalist, then you should be able to switch back and forth between the Scientific view and the Bayesian view, like a Necker Cube.

So now put on your Science Goggles—you've still got them around somewhere, right? Forget everything you know about Kolmogorov complexity, Solomonoff induction or Minimum Message Lengths. That's not part of the traditional training. You just eyeball something to see how "simple" it looks. The word "testable" doesn't conjure up a mental image of Bayes's Theorem governing probability flows; it conjures up a mental image of being in a lab, performing an experiment, and having the celebration (or public recantation) afterward.

Science-Goggles on: The current quantum theory has passed all experimental tests so far. Many-Worlds doesn't make any new testable predictions—the amazing new phenomena it predicts are all hidden away where we can't see them. You can get along fine without supposing the other worlds, and that's just what you should do. The whole thing smacks of science fiction. But it must be admitted that quantum physics is a very deep and very confusing issue, and who knows what discoveries might be in store? Call me when Many-Worlds makes a testable prediction.

Centuries ago, there was a widespread idea that the Wise could unravel the secrets of the universe just by thinking about them, while to go out and look at things was lesser, inferior, naive, and would just delude you in the end. You couldn't trust the way things looked—only thought could be your guide.

Science began as a rebellion against this Deep Wisdom. At the core is the pragmatic belief that human beings, sitting around in their armchairs trying to be Deeply Wise, just drift off into never-never land. You couldn't trust your thoughts. You had to make advance experimental predictions—predictions that no one else had made before—run the test, and confirm the result. That was evidence. Sitting in your armchair, thinking about what seemed reasonable… would not be taken to prejudice your theory, because Science wasn't an idealistic belief about pragmatism, or getting your hands dirty. It was, rather, the dictum that experiment alone would decide. Only experiments could judge your theory—not your nationality, or your religious professions, or the fact that you'd invented the theory in your armchair. Only experiments! If you sat in your armchair and came up with a theory that made a novel prediction, and experiment confirmed the prediction, then we would care about the result of the experiment, not where your hypothesis came from.

That's Science. And if you say that Many-Worlds should replace the immensely successful Copenhagen Interpretation, adding on all these twin Earths that can't be observed, just because it sounds more reasonable and elegant—not because it crushed the old theory with a superior experimental prediction—then you're undoing the core scientific rule that prevents people from running out and putting angels into all the theories, because angels are more reasonable and elegant.

You think teaching a few people about Solomonoff induction is going to solve that problem? Nobel laureate Robert Aumann—who first proved that Bayesian agents with similar priors cannot agree to disagree—is a believing Orthodox Jew. Aumann helped a project to test the Torah for "Bible codes", hidden prophecies from God—and concluded that the project had failed to confirm the codes' existence. Do you want Aumann thinking that once you've got Solomonoff induction, you can forget about the experimental method? Do you think that's going to help him? And most scientists out there will not rise to the level of Robert Aumann.

Okay, Bayes-Goggles back on. Are you really going to believe that large parts of the wavefunction disappear when you can no longer see them? As a result of the only non-linear non-unitary non-differentiable non-CPT-symmetric acausal faster-than-light informally-specified phenomenon in all of physics? Just because, by sheer historical contingency, the stupid version of the theory was proposed first?

Most of the time, scientists are not liars and are genuinely trying to discover and understand the laws of the universe. But whenever scientists are confronted with anything that has to do with God or evolution, then scientists on the whole always lie to us and they are brazen about it.

For example, until 1956, scientists falsely claimed that humans and apes had the same number of chromosomes and therefore humans evolved from apes. But the fact is, humans actually have 23 pairs of chromosomes while apes have 24 pairs of chromosomes. Apes, gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans, etc. all have more chromosomes than humans.

During the first half of the 20th century, that fact would have seriously weakened “ape into human evolution theory” because there is no way to explain how apes, with 24 pairs of chromosomes, could have evolved into humans with 23 pairs of chromosomes. We all know that if we lose a pair of chromosomes, we cannot reproduce.

During the first half of the 20th century, there was a ferocious war between evolution theory and creationism and Darwin’s supporters were extremely hard pressed to “find the missing link.” Darwinians could not find the missing link so they simply fabricated one by faking the Piltdown Man skull.
Darwinians also were determined to hide any evidence that contradicted their beloved evolution theory. That is why atheist scientists simply concocted a lie and told us apes and humans both have 24 pairs of chromosomes.

An atheist scientist named Theophilus Painter took the lead and published a paper in 1921 claiming humans have 24 pairs of chromosomes. Other atheist scientists “confirmed” this in other scientific papers. It was not until 1956 that the fraud came to an end because evolution theory had gained enough support to not need to be buttressed by the 24 chromosome lie. The “apes and humans have the same number of chromosome lie” had done its damage to the truth - Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung all pointed to the “24 chromosome lie” as a reason for them to ban the teaching of creationism from German, Russian and Chinese schools.

We bet you did not know that atheists claimed that “apes and humans have the same number of chromosomes.”

It is worthy to note that even now, scientists are prevaricating about this matter and they insist they did not lie to us about humans having 24 pairs of chromosomes. Instead they tell us they made an “understandable mistake” and it was very difficult to accurately count all the way up to 24 pairs of chromosomes.

It is absurd for atheists to assert that the counting of just 23 pairs of chromosomes was so difficult that none of them could do it correctly for over 30 years. Guess what? They had no trouble counting the much larger number of chromosomes for other animals, such as dogs who have 39 pairs.

As for the creation of man, even Darwin himself admitted that without fossil records (which dont exist), his theory was bunk. And Darwin never imagined the nano-tech like machinery of the DNA contained in cellular structure. The cell was just a black box to him from which life could spring from nothing. If Darwin knew what we know today about the intelligent design going on within DNA and the complex machinery required for something as simple as blood clotting, he would not come to the same conclusion he did.

I have recently just watched an Unsolved Mysteries Documentary on UFO's I'm not to sure what year it was from so maybe this is old news! In this documentary they gave several reasons why some crop circles can simply not be hoaxes or be created by humans in anyway I have not heard any of these facts before so would be interested to know if anybody else has and maybe has info that disproves them!

1. The base of the crop whatever crop it maybe in a hoax is always broken on the section that enters the ground in the other type the base has been softened bent over and the re-hardened again and the crop continues to grow as normal and can still be harvested!

2. Using sound equipment there is a noticable interference recorded near the centre of one of the circles wich dissapates the further away from the centre you move!

3. A study has been done into the cellular structure of the crops comparing samples from inside the formation to those outside it. The samples taken from outside the formation had cloudy crystals in an erratic pattern and those from within the formation had clearer crystals in a much more uniformed pattern!

In the documentary it mentioned footage that had been captured of the formation of 2 crop circles by a team of scientist under the name operation blackbird I was wondering if anybody knew anything about this footage? It also mentioned formations that had appeared in the Arctic circle If anybody has any pics would be great to see them!

Granted, if you are dying of a failing liver or kidney, would you consent to the death of another human being to survive (to receive an organ transplant)? How about a wife or child? Would you consent to forced harvesting of a Chinese prisoner's organ to save your child's life. Most people would! What about an American prisoner? The organs of Chinese prisoners have been forcibly harvested since the technology became available.

So the reality of growing humans in private corporations for the purpose of harvesting organs is here. Can you imagine a big warehouse containing ten thousand animal-human embryos being grown in sealed compartments (99% human beings with no rights). They will be grown until age 4 or 5 likely to harvest their organs.

So if you believe that NASA is telling the truth how do you explain the deaths of those who could witness it or the scientist who tell us that is was impossible in the safety aspect?

Jesus Christ, his life and his rising from the dead is not in question it was witnessed in every part. But no one was eyewitness to the actual events of traveling through space and landing/walking on the moon. The scientist today say it is impossible.

Trump's "space force" is a classified Secret Space Program that has existed for decades.

We are already living in a "Star Wars" type society.

Truth of the matter is humans have already walked on Mars. This happened decades ago when US astronauts landed on Mars in the 1970s. The all American hero.

Have I got a story for you. Here is the story of an all American hero who saved the nation of America in its darkest hour…. Adolf Hitler. Let me explain. In about 1943 German biologists who were supposed to help the war effort were getting a bit uneasy. At this point Germany has three major super powers against it (Soviet Union, England, USA), Italy just had the shit kicked out of it in Africa and Il Duce’s not looking so good and they were rightfully getting a little worried. However these guys still had numerous caches of poison gas left over from WW1 that was just going to waste. Not only that but they were toying around of the possibility of also infusing bombs with various diseases such as anthrax, and typhoid. Their reasoning was that they could handle dealing with two superpowers but three was just too much. They wanted to use bioweapons and hazards to terrorize the American population and force America to pull out of the war entirely. One scientist put it, "America must be attacked simultaneously with various human and animal epidemic pathogens as well as plant pests."

So why wasn’t the U.S subjected to random gas attacks and bombs of disease? It was due in part to one hero. No, not some American commando sneaking into Germany and blowing shit up. It was this guy

Yep, in a stunning act of compassion Hitler refused to harm America. Let me explain. As most know Hitler himself was nearly blinded in WW1 by a poison gas attack. The attack that drove him to abhor war and chemical weapons. You see there were several times that Hitler could have at any given time in the war have used chemical and biological weapons against the allies, indeed it might have even won Germany the war. England even thought that Germany would do so and in 1940 started to give all citizens personal gas masks in case those evil Germans started raining the gas down. However in all these cases Hitler was the bigger man and refused to use these tactics.

His reasoning was that he had experienced the pain of the poison gas himself. He knew the horrors and pain it caused. From this he never wanted another human being, even if they were his enemies, to suffer the same fate and pain as he did. Back to our story at hand, when these scientists brought to the Fuhrer their plans he was Fuhrious (bad pun). You see earlier in the war the boss man issued an order that specifically stated “no bio weapons are to be used.” When these scientists ignored this order and invented these bombs anyway they thought they would still be put to use. Nuh-uh. He didn’t budge. More to the point these bombs were already made. It was not a if they could use them it was a when. Even when he basically had these WMDs ready he still hadn’t changed his mind and refused to go along with the project and had it dismantled.

He had the power to basically wipe a superpower of the Earth and refused. Compare this to one Winston Churchill. Churchill who also was planning on using bombs with anthrax except he was the one who came up with the idea himself and would have had no problem using it on Germans and innocent civilians. Churchill had several tests done on islands with these bombs and even considered using them on German cities. The reason he didn’t was that it was already 1944 and the Nazis were basically beaten. The Soviets were in Poland and American and English forces were marching through France. He felt there would be no need for it. It would be interesting to see what would have happened if Churchill got one of those bombs earlier in the war. Say 1940? The same thing could have been said by FDR who wanted to even drop a nuclear bomb on Berlin but he kicked the bucket before he got the chance.

I really am not concerned with how many (is it 38%) “evangelical Christians are compromising the truth of God’s Word regarding the sex literal (24-hour) days of creation in Genesis by bowing down to scientific opinion (“from the goo, through the zoo, to you” evolution) that accommodates millions of years to the days of Genesis rather than the clear,straightforward , literal meaning of six literal (24-hour) days in Genesis. There is no warrant biblically, scientifically or linguistically for doing so (from the perspective of the ancient Hebrew language). I have posted many long comments why I oppose theistic evolution (accommodating long ages to the literal days of Genesis) as not biblical. Jesus Christ himself accepted the Genesis account of creation (Matthew 19:4), including the supernatural creation of Adam and Eve, as well as the biblical account of Noah’s Flood (which would radically alter everything modern uniformitarian geologists have learned in Geology) as historical fact (Matthew 19:: 4, Matthew 24:37-39). We should not be surprised by this when we remember that, though many leading scientists (i.e. “scriptural geologists”) resisted the “old earth” ideas of James Hutton and Charles Lyell (Uniformitarianism) and defended scripture as both true and scientific, Regrettably, it was Christians, not evolutionary scientists, who first lead the charge against scripture, beginning in the 1800s when theologians (theistic evolutionists) readily adopted the “old earth” ideas, of Lyell (uniformitarianism) instead of Noah’s Flood. The Bible believing scientists of the day were in a difficult position of trying to defend scripture when even theologians (who compromised the literal history of Genesis) were against them. The situation remains even worse today, despite recent scientific discoveries about the universe, atom, the internal structure and incredible complexity of cells, DNA, the natural world, etc. Believing scientists, though understandably still in a minority, are leaving Darwinian Evolution, recognizing that strictly natural processes, operating at random on inorganic chemicals, could never have produced complex living cells. Unfortunately, though they have grown weary of arguing how random mutations (essentially harmful to a living organism) in a highly complex genetic code provide improvements to it (no functional genetic information-increasing changes on which “goo to you” evolution depends). So, what do they do? They re-adopt Creation, but still hold on to the old earth and formulate a local Flood account to fit modern uniformitarian geology. How much better it would (and I believe employ better science) to come all the way back to a biblical worldview (instead of just a halfway or middle position between biblical creation and natural evolution (Theistic evolution).. One could write a book on why it is imperative that Bible-believing Christians not compromise the historical truth of Genesis 1 ( i.e. Day-Age theory, Gap theory, Framework Hypothesis theory) by adding or accommodating evolution to the Genesis account. Not only was theistic evolution rejected by Darwin, but also was never seriously considered by the other founding fathers of evolution. The evolutionary claim of an old earth (4.5 billion years old) denies the veracity of the first 11 chapters of Genesis regarding the order of creation (contrary to evolution, the Bible says birds were created on Day 5 at the same time as the sea creatures –before dinosaurs and other land animals; the Bible says the work of shaping the earth was finished on Day 3 before the moon was made on the 4th day into earth’s creation, not smashed from the earth in a cataclysmic collision; etc.), the distinctness of created kinds (10 times in Genesis 1), the absence of death and bloodshed before the Fall (see Genesis 3; Romans 5:12), the instantaneous creation of Adam and Eve and all of creation functionally mature (which explains the appearance of age), the “very good” status of the creation at the end of the creation week (Genesis 1:31), the great longevities of the patriarchs, and the global nature of the Flood, as attested by over 200 Flood traditions by peoples all around the world, over 30 scriptural references (indicating universality of Great Flood), and layers of water-deposited sedimentary rocks containing separate and distinct and intact kinds of fossilized plants, birds, animals, etc. (not transitional or intermediate fossil) all over the earth.

Every major doctrine of Christianity stands or falls upon the historical foundation laid in the first 11 chapters of Genesis. Obviously, if death were here eons before Adam sinned (Genesis 3), as evolution requires, then creation had already been spoiled and death is not the penalty for sin, as scripture plainly teaches (Genesis 2:16; Romans 5:12). This, in turn, means that Christ’s death and resurrection were ineffective and meaningless, and the biblical teaching (Romans 8:18-23; Rev. 21) of the final restoration (Paradise Regained) of this fallen world to its original state before the Fall (only much more magnificent and glorious)–no sin, no death. no curse–is sheer nonsense. Dr. James Barr, formerly Oriel Professor of the Interpretation of Holy Scripture at Oxford University and renown as one of the world’s leading Old Testament Hebrew scholars , wrote, “So far as I know, there is no professor of Hebrew or Old Testament at any world class university who does not believe that that the writer (s) of Genesis 1-11 intended to convey to their readers the ideas that creation took place in a series of six days which were the same as the days of 24 hours we now experience.” The word “day” (Hebrew yom) associated with a numeral (i.e. “first day” “second day,” “third day” in Genesis 1 (and that used 359 times in the Old Testament outside of Genesis 1 ) always means a literal 24-hour day. 

To make sure that no one missed the obvious meaning of a literal 24-hour day, the writer (s) of Genesis 1 under inspiration of the Holy Spirit further qualifies “first day, ” “second day” etc. with “evening and morning”–“and the evening (that part of the day associated with darkness) and morning (that part of the day associated with light) were the first day” (“second day, “third day” etc.). But many who are easily embarrassed (yes, that includes genuine Christians and theistic evolutionists like Dr. John Lennox, astronomers like Hugh Ross and others) by the opinions of secular scientists concerning the unproven assumptions of radiometric dating (which has been off by hundreds of thousands/millions of years, even on rocks of known age) will claim that Genesis 1 and other creation passages are myths, parables, poetry, dramas, allegories or analogies–the only exceptions to the perspicuity of scripture and cardinal rule that “context defines the meaning of a word”—anything, in order to escape the obvious fact that they are written, and read as, a straightforward historical narrative.
 
Even such astounding scholars as Dr. E. J. Young of Westminister Seminary in Philadelphia, an authority of massive erudition in Hebrew and cognate languages holds that “Genesis is not poetry. There are poetical accounts of creation in the Bible–Psalm 104, and certain chapters in Job, and they differ completely from the first chapter of Genesis. Hebrew poetry had certain characteristics, and they are not found in the first chapter of Genesis.” He further states: “The man who says I believe that Genesis purports to be an historical account, but I don’t believe that account” is a far better interpreter of the Bible than the man who says, “I believe that Genesis is profoundly true, but it is poetry”. The inspired, infallible Word of God trumps the opinion (actually “faith”) of fallible scientists, my friend. Don’t undermine or sell out the firm foundation (Genesis 1-11) on which your Christian faith is based, my friend, for the favor and praise of men. Post Chaos Magic: 1st in a series.

SUPERMAN VS MARS

The first thing I want to deal with is probably the most controversial aspect of Chaos Magic. In the Introduction to the Octavo, Peter Carroll sums it up like this:

” It (chaos magic) liberated magic from its dependency on religious symbolism and theological theories about deities and spirits by demonstrating that imaginary gods and spirits have exactly the same effects as the supposedly real ones.”

While I am sure that he and some other peoples findings support this idea, but one of the primary reasons that Chaos Magic has been declining in recent years is precisely that when many people put this theory to the test imaginary gods and spirits or fictional characters DO NOT seem to have the same effect as traditional ones. For instance, Andireh Vitimus author of Hands-On Chaos Magic, recently told me that Papa Legba has certainly done things that do not jive with the “all in your head” view that Chaos Magic tends to take.

I have seen examples of people who did not believe in spirits get overwhelmed by the experience of them.

A ceremonial magician nearly ruined his life by invoking Yemeja and Oya into the same circle because while in his paradigm they fit the elements of the west and north, in Santeria mythology they hate each other with passion.

A Buddhist starts suffering spiritual and psychological attacks at a Nyingma retreat only to discover that it is caused by Dorje Shugden, a sectarian anti-nyingma protector that the person did not even know she was bound to during an earlier empowerment with a different Lama.

A trekker begins suffering nervous problems after angering Nagas by bathing in and eating meat at a pool sacred to the Nagas. Despite not even believing in Nagas, it is only a supplication ritual that winds up alleviating his symptoms.

Some chaos magicians have claimed that in the modern, largely secular world, a figure like Superman receives more collective belief than a pagan deity like Mars, thus making comic book or pop culture characters even more viable for magic than traditional gods and spirits. Even if we accept that it is belief, rather than the object of belief, that holds the power to magic, this thinking confuses attention with belief. Attention and belief are not the same thing, there is a different quality to the experience all around.

You can go back to my posts about criticisms of chaos magic from more arguments against the idea that spirits, gods, servitors, fictional characters, and made up twaddle are all equal. Those arguments however should not be taken as supporting a view that only traditional beings have a place in magic. Far from it – this brings us to post-chaos view.

For a traditionalist the idea of invoking a fictional character or creating an artificial spirit fit to design, is just silly. For many Chaos magicians, they all amount to the same thing. To the post chaos mage, they are all functional in magic – they just have different natures and roles to play.

Let’s take a look at the spectrum of possibilities here:

GODS, ANGELS, DEMONS, AND OTHER BIG NAME BEINGS: You know what I mean here. Beings who are known and supplicated the world over or at least widespread within a culture. The actual nature of such beings is highly subjective. For instance if RO was to bind a Goetic Demon into a Brass Vessel, I would still be able to evoke him. He would be removed from RO’s sphere but not mine. It might bleed over if we were then to interact using that spirit etc. I am fond of pointing out that these entities are usually not spacial, when present you can’t usually point to a place in the room and say “There he is” unless they choose or are directed to occupy that space. Though most of these beings are transcendent, they also manifest down as immanent beings which is why you can have seeming contradictions like Shiva being a being that gets jealous and petty in some stories, yet a Kashmir Shaivite might describe everything as Shiva including you, he, the question, and the world it occurs in. This is also hopw you get a YHVH that acts like a bloodthirsty fasciest war god, yet is also a god of love and transcendence. Or, ya know, something like that. These tend to be beings that I call upon for big things only. Major macro-enchantments etc. Not to find my keys.

LOCAL BEINGS AND PERSONAL BEINGS: These are beings that you can usually point to and sense the space that they occupy. When a house is being haunted you can often feel the presence in one place and not another. Many (though not all) nature spirits fit this category. This also includes many (though not all ) of the dead as well as personal familiar spirits and tutilary spirits connected to you like the HGA. Being more local and immanent in nature, you have a chance to develop more of a personal relationship. These are spirits that, I would call upon to find my keys.

FICTIONAL BEINGS OR FORCES THAT ARISE OUT OF SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE: Not all fictional characters are simple inventions of their authors. Often there is a legitimate psyho-spiritual communication that occurs, but because of the inclinations of the receiver this does not manifest as overtly spiritual or magical literature. These are the stories that people almost cannot help but investing some reality to. The most obvious example is Lovecraft and the beings of the Chthulhu Mythos. Philip K Dicks Valis transmissions are another. Leaving literature out entirely, sometimes scientists make developments out of such communications. Tesla credited a spiritual “core” that he received visions from from inspiring some of his work. Swedenborg not only wrote spiritual works inspired by his visions, but scientific ones as well. Steiner is yet another example.

CHARACTERS OF PURE FICTION: Now we get to the stuff of pure fictional creation. Invoking Scrooge McDuck for money, Mr Spock for mercurial intellect, Superman for protection and so on. As I already said many people came into Chaos Magic expecting these beings to deliver the same results as the beings above, and left disappointed a few years later. Even if we are to accept that it is belief that powers the magic and that all the spirits are fictional surely collective belief outweighs attention and passionate lifelong personal devotion outweighs a day or two of convincing yourself to “believe” for the span of the ritual.

That said, there IS a psychic quality to attention and when invoked you do get a response – just one that is largely psychic rather than magical. This is why the practice is useful. If for instance you are looking to find a lover, it can be very useful to invoke a fictional character that represents the type of lover you wish to be. I once focused on Dale Cooper from Twin peaks as someone who was professional to the extreme, meticulous with detail, dressed the way I needed to dress for my new job, yet maintained his mystical side in such a way that it supported all the rest. By regularly invoking him and modeling behavior for a few weeks I was able to undo a lot of programming that was holding me back. I would argue that this worked better than it would have invoking a planetary power or something like that. It was ingrained. Though not fictional, one can work with historical figures as well. In this work I specifically avoid overt Necromancy. I am not looking to contact the spirit of that person, but rather the idea that they came to represent. ARTIFICIAL SPIRITS: Servitors, Thralls, Watchers, Egregores, Articficial Elementals, Bud-Wills, or as I have lately come to call them Designer Entities. These are beings that the magician consciously creates and programs, and released into the world to accomplish specific things. I will be devoting an entire post in this series to them, so I do not want to go into here, but suffice to say, they are not the same as any of the above, yet have their own nature and features that makes them more useful for certain work than any of the above.

My words have been justified a thousandfold by the actions of the AAPS, this time around, it’s giving Andrew Wakefield the Featured Article position in its latest issue of JPANDS. The article? It’s called The Sixth Extinction: Vaccine Immunity and Measles Mutants in a Virgin Soil, and in it Wakefield argues that we’re heading for a sixth extinction because of—you guessed it!—vaccines.

Before I get to Wakefield’s magnum opus of antivaccine fear mongering, let’s review a bit of background for those not familiar with AAPS and its official journal JPANDS. The first time I wrote about AAPS and JPANDS was over 13 years ago. In that post, I described AAPS as the John Birch Society for physicians, given its far right-wing tilt. More recently, I like to refer to AAPS as a right wing crank organization disguised as a medical professional society, given how assiduously AAPS likes to don the trappings of a society like the American Medical Association, the better to use the medical profession to give the appearance of scientific legitimacy to its views.

This brings us back to Andrew Wakefield. In many ways, Wakefield is a perfect fit for AAPS and for the lead article in JPANDS. He “doesn’t follow the herd” (unless it’s a herd of antivaxers) but does bucks the system (albeit in a horrible way). He rejects evidence- and science-based medicine if they don’t conclude what he believes and thereby reinforce his beliefs. He possesses an ego as inflated as that of the fictional Dr. Hendricks, feels completely unappreciated because the medical profession rejects his pseudoscience and scientific fraud. He doesn’t believe that he as a physician—a no longer licensed physician, I hasten to add, his having had his license stripped from him by the UK—should have to bow to any medical authority or science- and evidence-based guidelines, and his narcissism is knows no bounds. You get the idea. So naturally, AAPS would see Wakefield as a perfect contributor to its house organ JPANDS. I’m only surprised that it hasn’t happened before, as far as I can remember. (I’m not going through JPANDS back issues to see if he’s contributed before.)

I also can’t help but be surprised at what Wakefield has written in JPANDS for AAPS. Wakefield has always assiduously tried to deny and avoid the label of “antivax.” Yet, here, he goes further off the deep end of antivaccine pseudoscience, general medical pseudoscience, and conspiracy mongering than I’ve ever seen him go before. In this article, Wakefield manages to be a denialist not only of vaccines, but he also flirts with evolution denial (or at least an incredibly poor understanding of evolution), and even sidles up to germ theory denialism. To set the stage, he starts with Louis Pasteur (of course!), proceeds to evolution, where he misrepresents a lot of science. Naturally, AAPS and JPANDS, being AAPS and JPANDS, the editors and ludicrous “peer reviewers” let it all pass without questioning.

Wakefield begins by decrying how Pasteur framed his germ theory, which is not entirely unreasonable, given how much of our microbiological flora are either beneficial or neutral, something that wasn’t understood in the late 19th century. It doesn’t take long for Wakefield’s complaint to go from semi-reasonable to ludicrous as he abuses science more and more in the article.

From here Wakefield proceeds to the Sir Alexander Fleming, penicillin, and the antibiotic era, making the observation that bacterial resistance has evolved as a result of overuse of antibiotics. At this point, it becomes quite obvious where Wakefield is going with this:

Are vaccines destined for a similar fate? It’s a very interesting question. One answer is, why not? For vaccines, resistance equates to strains of the microbe, the virus, or the bacteria that can elude the imperfect immunity created by the vaccine.

From here on out, Wakefield goes pretty much whole crank, totally off the deep end, listing the “greatest hits” of antivaccine conspiracy theories, including the Simpsonwood conference, thimerosal, and the like, and then, in a feat of projection that only an antivaxer could pull off, accuses scientists of being “too certain”:

Jonathan, a very learned and somewhat spiritual man in his own right, felt the dots linking science and theology were compelling. Goers scope of knowledge widened steadily.

"It has come such a pass that today, materialism has the flavor of a superstitious, unscientific system of belief. The American geneticist Robert Griffiths jokingly remarked 'If we need an atheist for a debate, I go to the philosophy department. The physics department isn't much use.'
"Every physical law and every physical constant in this universe has been specifically designed to enable human beings to exist and live. In his book The Cosmic Blueprint, Davies states this truth in the last paragraph: 'The impression of Design is overwhelming.' In all the discussions with Goel he had over the years, never before had Goel shown this depth of scientific knowledge. In a word, Jonathan was deeply impressed with Goel's profundity. This added a new dimension to his longtime protector, one which he would always remember.

This showed that they did not walk habitually upright (See Spoor, F, Wood, B., and Zonneveld, F., Implications of early hominid morphology for evolution of human bipedal locomotion, Nature 369 (6482):645-648, 1994). This is all contrary to Dawkins’ claim that Lucy “walked upright on her hind legs...on two feet which were pretty much like ours although its brain was the size of a chimpanzee. Time magazine reported on a specimen called Ardipithecus ramidus kadabba, dated between 5.6 and 5.8 million years old. Time claimed that this new specimen was already walking upright , at (what they claim was ) the dawn of evolution. But how clear is this really> Time reports the opinion of the discoverer of “Lucy”, Donald Johanson : “Beyond that, he’s dubious about categorizing the 5.2 million year old toe bone (Ardipithecus) with the rest of the fossils : not only is it separated in time by several hundred thousand years, but it was also found some 10 miles from the rest (Lemonick, M.D. and Dorfman, A., One Giant Step for Mankind, Time magazine cover story, 23 July 2001). Note that this toe was the major “evidence” for uprightness, yet, at being found 10 miles away , it boggles the mind how it could be regarded as part of the same specimen. As one researcher put it regarding the fossils and human evolution, “Fossils are fickle. Bones will sing any song you want to hear” ( Shreeve, J., Argument over a woman, Discover 11 (8):58, 1990).

When the various fossils are analyzed in depth, they turn out not to be transitional or even mosaic. That is my last comment. I don't really care what you come back with. You believe what you want. You seem to enjoy calling me dishonest and a liar, but David the truth is you would not know the truth if it was standing right in front of you. I will leave it to the readers to decide who is honest and truthful based on real evidence and scientific research, for which I gave clear references, mostly from evolutionary journals and publications, not straw dummy arguments without evidence to support it. For example, Pakicetus (whale from Pakistan) was first drawn as an aquatic creature based on a few skull bones and teeth (Gingerich, P.D., et al., Science 220 (4595): 403-406, 22 April 1983). Its discoverer Philip Gingerich proclaimed it to be perfectly intermediate in time and in its morphology, a missing link between earlier land mammals and later, full-fledged whales (Gingerich , P.D., J. Geology. Educ 31:140-144, 1983. Since a few scraps of bone were interpreted in an evolutionary framework, it is not surprising that they were thought to be a “missing link”.

However, when the rest of the skeleton was found, it was realized to be a fast-running land creature (then drawn by the same artist as the diagram in Dawkins book (see Thewissen, J. G. M., et al., Skeletons of terrestial cetaceans and the relationship of whales to artiodactyls, Nature 413: 277-281, 20 Sept. 2001; and Pakicetus...eight years on. EVERYTHING the government tells you is a lie: Fake CDC science, fake economic numbers, and especially fake projections on future social security payouts and pensions

Faith in the American system of government is at an all-time low, as reflected in recent polls. This is a trend that has been developing for more than a decade, according to Gallup.

One of the primary reasons why Americans are losing so much faith – and never regaining it – has a lot to do with the cynical abuse heaped upon the masses by the governing elite and, in particular, not being able to get an honest answer from our politicians.

Consider the issue of Social Security.

For years non-partisan agencies that serve Congress have been sounding alarms that, over the long term and based on today's rules of taxation and financing, Social Security and Medicare as we know it are not sustainable, as even the Social Security Administration has pointed out recently:

Social Security's Disability Insurance (DI) Trust Fund now faces an urgent threat of reserve depletion, requiring prompt corrective action by lawmakers if sudden reductions or interruptions in benefit payments are to be avoided. Beyond DI, Social Security as a whole as well as Medicare cannot sustain projected long-run program costs under currently scheduled financing.

We must not have a 'need to know'

And yet, as Myra Adams points out in this National Review Online piece in July, no one on the 2016 presidential campaign trail is talking about this.

In fact, no one on Capitol Hill is talking about this, either – at least, not publicly. Though the SSA itself has warned lawmakers to act "sooner rather than later" to address Social Security's and Medicare's "structural shortfalls," there is silence from Congress and the White House, none of whom will have to rely on either program due to generous self-voted congressional and presidential pensions.

Instead, as Myra Adams noted, Social Security recipients are quietly notified on their benefits statements that funding for the program cannot be sustained past a certain year and, as such, benefits are likely to be reduced by as much as one-third in the coming years.

Have you heard any lawmaker or the president talk about this?

Then there is the issue of government lying about, or covering up, data that would otherwise benefit Americans. As reported by Natural News editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, in July, the "vaunted" Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently held meetings with vaccine scientists to find a way to destroy evidence linking vaccines to higher rates of autism in African Americans.

Mike Adams noted that Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., spoke out recently about CDC science fraud as related to him by an agency scientist, Dr. William Thompson. Mike Adams' piece is here.

A host of lies and scandals

These revelations were first reported by fearless independent investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson, formerly of CBS News.

She reported July 29:

A current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) senior scientist has made an unprecedented admission: he and his colleagues–he says– committed scientific misconduct to cover up a meaningful link between vaccines and autism in black boys.

Just as startling, the CDC scientist, Dr. William Thompson, says the study co-authors "scheduled a meeting to destroy documents related to the study. The remaining four co-authors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room, and reviewed and went through all the hardcopy documents that we had thought we should discard, and put them into a huge garbage can."

These are just two examples, though they are egregious. Consider also that government in recent years has lied about, or covered up, massive surveillance by the National Security Agency, abuse of taxpayers and 501(c)(3) and (4) tax-exempt organizations, Obama care, the details surrounding the Benghazi incident, the "Fast and Furious" gun-walking operation in Mexico and the impact of illegal immigration.

It's no wonder Americans have virtually no confidence in their government.

So how does quantum physics relate to spirituality and Bigfoot? In my 45+ years of researching this phenomenon, I’ve heard several very strange reports. A few of these reports, from seemingly heartfelt people, claimed that these creatures disappeared. Is that even possible? Can the laws of quantum physics actually answer that question? Knowing what I know, I’m compelled to delve in and see. The accepted mathematics of quantum physics says that there is more going on than what we see with our three-dimensional eyes.

Scientists now know, through physics, that empty space (Dark Matter, Dark Energy) is not actually empty…however, it is a dimension existing outside of the human light spectrum and the observable vibrational frequency. It seems to me that classical science has restricted itself by its own disciplines and because of those disciplines, will never grasp the big picture. If we use the classical box to try and determine all that exists, we would never begin to understand the cosmos, e.g., the world of spirituality.
The math of quantum physics indicates that there are at least eleven dimensions in existence…possibly innumerable. So, could the laws of quantum physics be the answer to the Bigfoot mysteries? If so, how do we move forward in that possibility?

$700 Quintillion Gold Asteroid to be Mined by NASA Paving the Way for Messiah to Arrive

Asteroid

When scientists announced the discovery of a “golden asteroid”, their interests were in how this could open up the field of asteroid mining. But people who look to the heavens for more spiritual rewards saw different, more Redemptive implications for the discovery.

Discovered in 1852, Psyche 16, as it is named, is relatively close, parked in orbit between Mars and Jupiter. The asteroid is exceptional in several respects. It is one of the ten most massive asteroids in the asteroid belt with an average diameter of approximately 140 miles, making it the most massive M-type (metallic) asteroid discovered to date. Psyche is so massive enough that its gravitational effect on other asteroids can be observed, which enables scientists to measure its mass. The results indicated that Psyche was incredibly dense. Unlike most other asteroids that are rocky or icy bodies, scientists think the M-type (metallic) asteroid 16 Psyche is comprised mostly of metallic iron and nickel similar to Earth’s core.

What it’s worth

Scientists at NASA are now planning a mission that will be the first stage in a program to mine the minerals of Psyche 16. Targeted to launch in August of 2022, the Psyche spacecraft would arrive at the asteroid in early 2026, orbiting for 21 months to do a complete study of the space rock. This will be NASA’s first mission to a metal planet. This may sound fantastic with the astronomical costs far outweighing the results however experts estimate the asteroid’s worth at $700 quintillion. For those who have never had a quintillion dollars, one quintillion is a one followed by 18 zeroes. To put that into perspective, it is feared that a sudden influx of such wealth could crash the global economy which is valued at a paltry $75.5 trillion.

This mission to Psyche 16 was intended as a first step in a larger initiative to mine the asteroid belt but several other missions are already underway. NASA’s OSIRIS-REx is orbiting an asteroid called Bennu, which has an estimated value of $700 million. The Japanese have sent a probe to another asteroid, Ryugu, with an estimated worth of $82.86 billion. Deep Space Industries and Planetary Resources each plan to mine the 2011 UW158 asteroid, worth up to $5.7 trillion.

Biblical interpretation

Rabbi Yosef Berger, the rabbi of King David’s Tomb on Mount Zion, was pleasantly surprised when he heard of the discovery. But his amusement turned to shock when he heard of NASA’s response which, he explained, did not relate to the asteroid’s place in the final redemption.

“The Bibles explicitly describes an astronomical phenomenon, the Star of Jacob, that will presage the Messiah,” Rabbi Berger said, citing a verse from the section of the Torah in which the non-Jewish prophet, Balaam, blessed the Children of Israel.

“Jewish sources, most notably the Zohar, describe stars and other things that happen in the heavens before the Messiah comes,” Rabbi Berger said. He suggested a reason behind this, referring to the copper serpent Moses was commanded to make as a cure for anyone who was bitten by a snake in the desert.

“They were not praying to the snake, but when they turned their eyes upward, they were reminded to pray to heaven,” Rabbi Berger explained. “In the end-of-days, we will all be looking up at the heavens because of these stars. Some people will only be able to see gold and silver, or their own intellect and their own glory, while others will be looking for God.”

A promise of redemption

Rabbi Berger went on to explain that according to Jewish sources, the final Geula (redemption) will mirror the Exodus from Egypt. The rabbi cited a verse from the Bible in which God described the period of slavery in Egypt, while promising that the Jews will be rewarded with great wealth for their suffering.

And He said to Avram, “Know well that your offspring shall be strangers in a land not theirs, and they shall be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years; but I will execute judgment on the nation they shall serve, and in the end they shall go free with great wealth. Genesis 15:14

Just as the Jews left Egypt with great wealth, precisely as God promised, the period of the final Geula will be part of that same promise and will be marked by unprecedented wealth,” Rabbi Berger told Breaking Israel News. “Some of Israel took this gift and used it to make the Golden Calf. Others used it for the Tabernacle. We are blessed to live in a period of unprecedented wealth and are being given the same choice.”

Messianic implications

The rabbi suggested that this wealth and the potential for wealth that exceeds what is currently available on earth may suggest what form the final Geula will take.

“Some people mistakenly believe that the Messiah will result from a difficult process of suffering. That is not accurate,” Rabbi Berger said. He explained that if we do not merit the Messiah, the final redemption could come in a terrifying manner characterized by horrific wars, plagues, and natural disasters. The other possibility, the rabbi explained, is that the Messiah would be incredibly pleasant.

“This is what we call achishena,” Rabbi Berger said. “If we merit it, the Messiah will come before its appointed time in a gradual, drawn-out process accented by miracles. This is the Messiah that will be accompanied by heavenly signs, perhaps even asteroids made of solid gold.”
