When my son came to me saying he felt he was trans, my first inclination, being a scientist, was to dive into the research. I wanted to understand, from a medical and scientific perspective, what was going on with my son. I figured the science was settled, there were evidence-based studies that I could reference. It didn’t take long for me to discover, however, that this was simply not going to be possible. I’m now convinced that trans is not based on science. It’s fundamentalist religious ideology disguised as science. And not only that, because the entire field is being represented as science when it is, in fact, a belief system, information about extremely harmful side effects is being suppressed, and research efforts are completely subverted, because the ultimate goal is to support the ideology at all costs.

From my own experience with my son, it’s clear to me that these children DO feel deeply that they have issues with their body. That is not in question. I know my young teen son feels deeply that he is a woman, or at least that’s what he tells me. I also know that there are likely other underpinning reasons why he feels this way other than that he is literally a woman trapped in a male body. And, I think he is aware that he is not actually a woman, a situation which causes inherent cognitive dissonance. But through today’s rigid ideological lens, that is the only possibility offered to him from the gurus online and, similarly, there is only one possible treatment - trans medicine. But, actually, the science says that one size cannot fit all. At a time when cancer care is based on genetically modifying individual DNA, transgender medicine is still in medieval age of one size fits all - Puberty Blockers, Cross Sex Hormones, and Surgery. Trans is the medical version of the Taliban.

A child who is constantly corrected but never fully understood will eventually ask a dangerous question: Why am I like this?

For a neurodivergent child, that question is not abstract. It is embodied. Deep in their flesh. It lives in the nervous system.

In today’s schools, there is an answer readily available.

Identity.

More specifically, LGBTQ identity frameworks.

These frameworks offer something powerful: permission to be different without apology. Language for distress. Moral protection. A story that explains why fitting in has always felt impossible.

For a neurotypical child, identity can be explored, revised, and discarded. It is flexible.

For a neurodivergent child, it can become totalizing.

It does not explain part of their experience. It explains everything.

And once it does, abandoning it feels like erasing the only coherent story they have ever been given.

The rise in transgender identification among children is not the root problem. It is a symptom.

It reflects a school system (amongst other factors) that cannot accommodate neurodivergence without trying to normalize it. A system that mistakes compliance for health and performance for wellbeing.

Until schools learn to recognize neurodivergence as something to be understood — not corrected — this pattern will continue.

Children will keep disappearing into labels because labels are the only place they are allowed to rest.

That is not inclusion.

It is institutional failure, and it is camouflaged and dressed up as care.

If schools applied the same rigour to understanding neurodivergence as they do to identity and LGBTQ+ awareness campaigns, fewer children would be driven toward ideology, self-harm, or medicalization as a way of making sense of unsupported nervous systems. Fewer parents would be left searching for answers in the dark.

Our son was in his dorm room for 2 years during the lockdowns, learning and tutoring from there. He's now non binary, wearing feminine clothes, nail polish and styling his hair. I talk to him and he sounds like a 13 year old girl. He's into candles, pink stuff and hugs a squishmellow toy. His favorite movies are kids' ones like Zootopia etc. He's regressed when he was supposed to become a young adult. As a child he was more fearful of things than other boys, btw.

He feels like this is the identity he was meant to have but I'm seeing it as a psychological mechanism to deal with lockdowns, uncertainty, fear of long covid etc. Instead of helping my fearful son, doctors have given him hormones to grow breasts.

I find it curious that those who call conspiracy theorists “mental cases” rarely, if ever, bother to look through our lenses. Do they think this just all comes out of a vacuum? In fact, it’s my belief that conspiracy inquirists, or truthers, excel at introspection and even self-critique, a trait strangely lacking in their doubters.

You would think they are some type of “experts” on the “theories.” In almost all instances that I have observed, not even remotely. In fact, in one presentation by one of these so called theorist “experts,” a trait of the conspiracy theorist is stated to be their attention to details. This is supposed to be a deficiency? Mostly this is gaslighting. Lately, I’ve seen more of the appeal-to-authority scam, whereby some “expert” from “Yale et al” is hauled out to pontificate in front of a cadre of cheerleaders.

Another common tactic is the straw man fallacy, or shooting down or even inventing a weak theory or anomaly and then victory dancing a soft-toss debunking. The is common at sites like Metabunk.

Calling anomalies “superficial” is another common tactic. Therefore, it’s necessary to focus on large and quick-hitting anomalies.

The difference is that so-called “conspiracy theorists,” actually alertly and critically examine evidence. They are wired differently. If you actually did critically view the sample video below in its entirety, would you dismiss as “crazy” somebody who saw a pattern of lies and extreme deception or something seriously out of kilter? Or would you be curious enough to examine other short-duration exercises or even longer, more time-consuming examples?

Forget the “conspiracy theorist” and “mental health” diagnosis for a moment and ask yourself what you are seeing here. Does it take “great imagination” or “pattern loving” or “a lot of attention to details” to call a spade a spade? If you see nothing here and move along after a 10-second viewing, you might want to reconsider who it is seeing unicorns and rainbows.

Renee Good was the complete antithesis of what King stood for, which is why trying to hijack his contributions is patently offensive.

Good was a professional left-wing zealot who rejected every tenet of civil disobedience. She did not seek “friendship and understanding” with ICE agents—she taunted, harassed and stalked them. Moreover, she trained others to do the same, leading convoys to impede law enforcement.

Prior to the shooting, Good followed ICE agents to two locations, deliberately blocking the roadway. She did the same thing at the site of the incident, illegally parking her huge Honda Pilot in the middle of the road. Her female lover, Rebecca, was with her, and both carried whistles, the purpose of which was to alert illegal aliens that ICE agents were in the vicinity, thus obstructing the pursuit of justice.

When Rebecca tried to get back into the car, Good was asked to get out, but she wouldn’t budge. Do not bring your baby to a violent riot. The fact that you have to tell someone that — you should be — your kids should be taken away from you. But that baby was exposed to tear gas because the mob — baby was in the mob in a car — the mob was attacking the ICE agents. They didn't aim the tear gas. They weren't like, hey, check out that six month-old. Let me shoot him in the face. Not at all. That's not at all what happened. They were aiming at the crowd where, for some reason, the car with this six month-old was. Now, if the crowd — I don't know. And I'm just spitballing ideas here — If they listened to law enforcement, no one would have gotten shot with tear gas.

Also showing stuff like this. Kids skipping school to protest ICE turns into violent mosh pits and all this stuff. Here the kids are just piling out of classes like, hey, no, no, they should probably not be in class at all. It's just unbelievable. The only reason that kids would protest ICE because they were taught to protest ICE by liberal teachers in Tim Walz's school districts.
