Yes, I did, a few years ago. Pretty interesting book. I found it funny how some of the problems he was complaining about seemed awfully relevant in our era. In his book, he talked about dirty plays and books always being written by Jews and them always being pimps in the big city, same shit today with porn. He was also complaining about immigration and birthrates.
As you said, it's not a very hateful or radical book but that may be why so many countries banned it. It humanizes Hitler and makes him seem rational, whereas the elites of the West spent decades portraying him as an insane maniac who had no reasonable motives for his actions.

It was my first time reading it. He was an autist. In the first chapter, he kept talking about how his father never recognized his talent as a painter. In his head, he was the best painter the world had ever seen. He didn't want to study or to work. According to him, he was good at school and breezed through it. I don't know if this was true. He talked about how disappointed he'd felt when the art school rejected him. He lived as a vagabond for quite a while. I don't think this book was extreme. There was nothing outrageous about it. But I was left with the impression that Hitler was a sperg. But I like his self-confidence and belief that he was born for greatness. It might be one of those books that you have to read whenever you're feeling depressed. I recommend "Main Kampf" and" Might is Right". They're good books to read when you're feeling down. I spent a summer once touring Poland by bicycle. It is a lovely country, one where small Catholic children, cute as buttons, almost entirely dressed in silk, turn up around every corner. Israel creaks with overcrowdedness; in Asia minor, overpopulation creates struggles for mere square meters of dirt. I'd suggest to anyone who is having trouble separating the wheat from the chaff when it comes to the various spins on NS and Hitler to do what I am doing research it themselves. To many people with to many opinions on NS especially and they don't really know anything about that aspect of this movement. Instead of listening to the multifarious keyboard commentators on sites that do not necessarily focus on that particular ideology I'm going straight to the source the NSist. Just like I came here to check out what SF was about instead of taking the ADLs or the SPLCs take on it.

Sure your going to get slightly different flavors out there, but as long as the core ideology is the same one can build a decent understanding of what's what and who's who. I don't take as fact the opinions of persons who FEEL so strongly about their opinion, regardless of their sources, that they are affected when people don't take what THEY have to say as the be all end all on any subject. In the treatment field we call that Compromised Objectivity.

As to Hitler.... Well he WAS right about one thing, The jew! As for the rest... History is written by the victor, and the reality is he was not the victor, so another wrote the history the way they wrote it. Another biased opinion that surely DID NOT include ALL the facts and nuances that could lead to a more complete understanding of the whole truth.

People with half ass information make half ass decisions, and that is how it is most often when emotions become involved.
