President Trump said Monday he is pardoning Scott Jenkins, a former Virginia sheriff who was convicted of making several businessmen sworn law enforcement officers in exchange for cash bribes.

Federal prosecutors say Jenkins took $75,000 worth of bribes. He allegedly accepted cash and campaign contributions from eight people — including two undercover FBI agents — and in return, gave them badges and made them auxiliary deputy sheriffs, despite not having any training or vetting. He also allegedly pushed officials to restore one bribe-payer's right to possess a gun as a convicted felon.
Jenkins took the stand in his own defense and said there was no connection between the payments he received and the badges he handed out, according to news reports. Okay, so I just finished a deep-dive study (yes, I’m the author) on the Great Pyramid, and here’s the wild part: the numbers actually back up the idea that it was intentionally built to work as a massive passive capacitor.
I ran a bunch of simulations using the real geometry and material properties (limestone casing, granite chambers with piezoelectric quartz, etc). The results? The pyramid could store around 462 nF of charge, with a potential over 1.5 million volts. That’s not just a random side effect-my analysis suggests the design choices were deliberate to maximize these electrostatic properties.
No one’s done in-pyramid electrostatic field measurements yet, so this is all based on modeling and simulation, but the evidence is there. If we ever get to do real field tests, I think we’ll find the pyramid is way more than just a tomb.

Russia’s justice minister has proposed introducing “the defense of moral values” as a new basis for exemption from criminal liability. Speaking at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, Konstantin Chuychenko said, “Currently, individuals can be exempted if they acted out of extreme necessity or in self-defense.
