When you've got hundreds or even thousands of them in most urban areas, you might think that women would be able to look around and see the women who have shitty life-outcomes and compare them to the women with successful life outcomes, and then try to emulate the women who have made good, genuinely happy lives for themselves, instead of the broken and battered used-up hookers that no man wants to touch.

But somehow, it seems like somewhere between 10%-20% of the young women of the next generation have as their life's highest aspirations to make it rich as a hooker, and through things like having mixed-race kids. I don't understand it, but then, I also don't really understand communism, either. And that's the other idiotic idea that women seemingly love to flock to.

At what point do we, as a society, say "enough is enough", and understand that most women are simply little more than idiot-children in an adult's body, and take away their rights to make decisions for themselves? It's only been done by pretty much every great society that's ever existed throughout history, so I don't understand the recent obsession with women's political power over the past 100 years or so. They haven't used it well, and they've done their very best to destroy any semblance of stability--financial, within the home as well as out in wider society, and it's time for that kind of nonsense to stop.

Sweden was a once and beautiful and prosperous place, but they elected a "feminist government" and within 20 years managed to make it the "rape capital" of the Western World. They've destroyed all sense of propriety, any sense of Western ideals of justice, and are now going broke at a record pace.

It's time to stop.

A smart feminist academic friend still believes in gender theory, I think because:

-being a successful adademic is super important to her identity and so she doesn’t want to die on that hill if it risks her career. I think this is a subconscious choice- she doesn’t want to dig into TERF-y things lest it shake the foundations, deep down I think she has some doubts (she used to talk about these to me a decade ago, now she wont acknowledge the doubts)

-she’s got your typical levels of self-doubt/imposter syndrome so is willing to assume that all the other smart lefties who are really into trans stuff must be right

-she moves in hip, “queer” circles and at least one close friend of hers has gone from lesbian to supposedly NB or trans. It’s much more convenient to believe her good friend is earnestly living their best life and fighting the good fight than that they’re an idiot in this very important way.

None of this excuses any of it, but I think this is where her head is at. I wasn’t in the cool club enough to peak her yet, but I think she will get there.

Yeah, basically. I think there are two broad categories of people that push for this type of "diversity": The true Believers, and the Eroders.

The true Believers are the ones that actually believe the shit that they push. They actually think that they're helping making a more equitable society and are making the world a better place. This is probably the larger chunk of the people involved, and they are basically just useful idiots for the second category. They don't care about any issues that straight hwhite men might face (or gay white men at this point), because the Eroders have told them they shouldn't.

The Eroders are only concerned with eroding the current social order and/or disrupting the current power structure so they can claim more power for themselves and their allies. These are commonly the leaders and organizers of these movements. They don't actually care about others, but know that other people do, so they pretend to be these virtuous paragons fighting oppression, meanwhile they quietly (or sometimes not so quietly) sequester more and more power for themselves. This is why there seems to be a treadmill of oppressed groups (and why you get shit like a trans suicide hotline that is never staffed/staffed by people that had almost no training while its organizers use the donations intended to support it to fund a lavish lifestyle); it's because the Eroders use various groups as an excuse to get more power, and just kick them to the curb whenever their utility has failed. This is why gay white men and white women are currently shifting to being in the oppressor group, rather than the oppressed group as they were not too long ago. My guess is that the next designated oppressor will be white trans people, but it could also be a non-white group if society as a whole considers white people to have lost enough power. Whites are currently being gone after because the Eroders have successfully convinced society that western society is strongly white supremacist. If this idea stops being tenable to society and the Eroders haven't yet amassed enough power to just ignore whatever society says, then I think they'll move on to some other group. I don't think they truly hate white people, I think they just want the power to be gained by designating them as some grand enemy.

Transsexual and transvestite are not slurs they are accurate discriptions. The bad associations come from the association with paraphilas so they needed a rebrand.

I've harped on this before, but seriously I wish everyone would stop talking about "inclusive restrooms" and instead call them what they are: unisex.

Some people want single sex facilities to be available. It is definitionally impossible to have a single-sex facility that is open to both sexes. It's not that I "want to exclude transwomen," it's that if a transwoman is using the same restroom as me then by definition that restroom is not single-sex.

Turns out if you refer to single-sex versus unisex facilities, pretty much everyone comes to the same conclusion: unisex is fine in many cases, but there are also times when single-sex should be available. Golly whoda thunk.

Oh that’s right, males can’t breastfeed, and there’s no evidence they can produce anything nutritious for a baby from their male bodies, let alone anything as good as what mothers produce.

There is absolutely no reason for a man to attempt to breastfeed a baby except for his own enjoyment. That’s not irrational, that is an objective and observable fact.
