Dusty Deevers introduced earlier this year that would have amended the law for "willfully, knowingly and without probable cause [making] a false report" alleging that someone committed a crime by changing the penalty so that those found guilty would face the same punishment that the falsely reported crime carries

Filing a false report was already illegal in Oklahoma, but Deevers' wanted the legislation changed simply so that the punishment will be in accordance with the Bible, repeatedly citing the Bible's various "eye for an eye" provisions[…]
Webbon, who is a close associate of Deevers', used a recent sermon to advocate for this sort of legislation[…]

Women are literally the most privileged people to have ever existed. Women literally spend their whole lives never having to work for anything. They don't need to get a job because daddy and their boyfriend/husband finances their whole life. The only reason they even go to college is to be a whore. Any woman, no matter what she looks or acts like, can go outside for less than 5 minutes and get a boyfriend and hundreds of friends instantly.

Christians have traditionally believed that marriage is permanent bond between a man and woman for the purpose of forming a household and raising children*, where the duties of the man and woman are asymmetrical. For a man to “marry” another man is a contradiction in terms, the same as when your boss tells you, “I want you to think of me as your friend, not your boss.” The male-female relationship has elements that are inherently asymmetrical, and inherently different than male-male relationships, and different things deserve different words. Furthermore, the male-female union is a core building block of civilization and therefore deserves special recognition by the state and by the church. It deserves to be considered normative. One of the things that has especially turned me against gay marriage is seeing how so many institutions (eg public schools) no longer feel empowered to teach the male-female marriage as being the default or the normative institution. Legalizing gay marriage was not just “allow different people to do their own thing” it was, “change the basic way every child is taught about the basic institutions and building blocks of life.”

Now part of the problem for modern Christians is that many already have given up on the idea of marriage being permanent or that the husband and wife have different roles and obligations. The issues families can have with Mulan are violence, false gods, spirits, praying to ancestors, cross dressing and more. Mulan is a woman that dresses like a man to serve in the military in the place of her disabled father. Male characters dress and act like females in Mulan later in the movie. Is this movie part of the reason for the massive societal increases in gender dysphoria?

Mulan does have some humorous moments. The scene with the match maker is one that had me rolling. That cricket was not always lucky. Elon Musk has used his large platform on X to promote a theory that a free-thinking “Republic” could only exist under the decision-making of “high status males” – and women or “low T men” would not be welcome in it.

On Sunday, Musk re-posted a screenshot of the theory – which appears to have been conceived on 4chan in 2021– on the social media site.

The theory, written by an anonymous user, suggests that the only people able to think freely are “high [testostrone] alpha males” and “aneurotypical people”, and that these “high status males” should run a “Republic” that is “only for those who are free to think.”

“People who can’t defend themselves physically (women and low T men) parse information through a consensus filter as a safety mechanism,” the post reads.

“Only high T alpha males and aneurotypical people (hey autists!) are actually free to parse new information with an objective ‘is this true?’ filter,” it adds. “This is why a Republic of high status males is best for decision making. Democratic, but a democracy only for those who are free to think.”

When we endure grief or suffer wrongly at the hands of others, in other words when we endure mistreatment which is abuse and take it patiently the Scriptures tell us “this is acceptable with God”.  God is not excusing the actions of the abusers.  But God is saying when we are on the receiving end of various kinds of abuse and we take it patiently that this is acceptable with God.
Such a thought is foreign to our thinking but the Scriptures tell us “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 55:8).
We often talk on this blog about how God likes to image or model things.  Man was created to image God and thereby bring him glory (I Corinthians 11:7) and woman and by extension marriage was created to help man fully image God as a husband and father (I Corinthians 11:9, Ephesians 5:22-33).  When it comes to this matter of suffering abuse – we, both men and women, actually model Christ when we suffer abuse from others taking it patiently as he did. And that is why God wants you to stay in an abusive relationship.
